Aaron took a look at it. It looked like an ordinary potion. Well, bottom's up, and he took the potion and drank it in one gulp.

UCK!!!! It was awful!!! But once it got down, it did make him feel better. he was now warm and not as tired. "Thanks, *gulp* Clifford."

Coming over here obviously hadn't been one of his better ideas. This girl - she was clearly off her rocker. Maybe she was in some sort of state of shock or something? She sure was acting like she was crazy anyway. Before he knew what was happening, the crazy girl was running straight for him.

... and from there everything seemed to happen in slow motion.

The girl made contact with his midriff... the tray of pepper-up potions was flying through the air.. Clifford landed on the floor, arms and legs tangled with that of a much smaller person.. and then it started raining red potion.

She rushed over to Clifford. "What. Is. Going. On. Here?" she demanded. Her potions were a mess. What had happened to her unbreakable charm?

She turned to the girl who had been freaking out before, "Explain. NOW."

Finally. At last. ZOMG! Evangeline was positively sure half of her distress left once she walked through the huge oak doors that lead to the great hall. "See, I told you we'd make it.." She told Nancy with a brief smile, very happy that she was right. Sure, she trusted herself and her abilities ... but you never knew!

Boy, did this look like a war zone.

Without sparing a second look at the other tables, the frozen, scratched soaked to the bones, dripping, slimmy green haired Evangeline made her way to the Slytherin table and literally collapsed onto the bench, not sure if her legs would be able to take her much further away. And where was Clifford?! Was he okay? Why couldnt she see hiiim?!

Jude's eyes went so wide. What on EARTH was happening here?!?!? "Hayleh!!!" he screamed, but too late to stop Hayley from coming.. He let out a very high pitched and audible squeak ("EEK!!!") as he saw Hayley take Clifford down. Oh no. Not good.

"THE VIALS!!!" he screamed dramatically from his spread eagle position on the floor, his face barely lifted to see the action, but his arms and legs flailing to get him a bit closer to the drama. He was starting to get warm from the flailing. He was so transfixed on watching Hayley do her... thing, that he had forgotten he was even laying down.

Suddenly it looked as if they were both bleeding terribly, as the vials landed and broke all over the pair. As if they weren't wet enough already. He wondered if it stung as much to the outside touch as it did to swallow. Judging on the noises Hayley was emitting, he figured it did. But he didn't see why... Oh well. That wasn't really relevant at the moment.

Sighing in relief as he saw Nurse Avalon enter the situation again, a small smile creased his face. 'At least she'll take care of them...' But then he heard her yelling. 'Or not...'

Whoever was yelling in his ear was right. This stuff DID burn. A heck of a lot too. Clifford had recieved a faceful of pepper-up potion, but lucky for him had squeezed his eyes shut just in time. Not like the girl he was tangled up with. What. A. PSYCHO.

"Why are YOU doing this!?" He retorted angrily, face screwed up as he attempted to untangle himself and failed miserably. "This is all YOUR fault!" Oh, the burny. Not good.

Miss Caroline. Oh, please save me. PLEASE.

Face still scrunched up, Clifford looked up at the Healer lady. She was sorta blurry, but it was definately her. "She.. she ran into me.. and - and.. the potions.." It was obvious what had happened, right? He just wanted UP and OUTTA here. Wait.. was that Evangeine he heard? He knew that voice! Was he delusional? Was this the effects of being sprayed with numerous pepper-ups?

Help? Anyone?

Aaron saw Evangeline. FINALLY!!! "Evangeline!" he said running up to her. "Clifford's been so worried. Quick, come here! Be just got knocked over and he might be really hurt!" Hopefully, this was the thing Clifford needed.

"Clifford!!!" Aaron said running up to him with Evangeline! It turns out he had potion all over his face and it looked like it was burning him. "Evangeline's with me! She's ok!"

Reese slightly scooted away from Miles when he nearly choked on the potato he was eating. Well, at least Miles didn't completely choke on it. She didn't want to do CPR on him or anything. She took the last bite of her brownie and then smiled at Miles.

"Something, yes," she told him with a nod. She was glad that he wasn't going to ask what that something was. She has already explained that kiss incident at least 3 100 times. She opened her mouth to talk, but the closed it. Well, can't you put it behind you? She COULD put it all behind her. "I can put it all behind me," she muttered, looking down at the ground.


Reese narrowed her eyes and looked at Shana. This was was just asking to not be friends for forever and ever. She said she couldn't live without being Reese's friend, but this was a weird way showing that. If she wanted to tell Miles about the kiss, gosh darnit, she would have done it herself. "Nope, Miles. I'm NOT putting this behind me now," she told him, crossing her arms.

She looked at Miles, who -THANK GOODNESS- wasn't making a big deal out of this. "Yeah, I kissed Cam," she told him. Now, to explain the who situation. That would probably be the best thing to do right now. "So, it all happened at Liz's beach house over the summer. I was playing a joke with Lima and I told her that I loved Cam. Which, I didn't. I hated Cam. So, Lima called Cam. He came over and I sort of went over board with the joke and kissed him. I should have stopped joking around before Lima called Cam, but I was stupid," she explained, hoping she didn't lose Miles, "And, well, we ended up going out...somehow. I don't even know how we ended up going out. Anyways, he broke up with me at Diagon Alley." She wouldn't have minded the break up if it wasn't in front of Jake. She was hoping to keep the whole thing from him, but I guess you can't keep stuff from your siblings. "That's the story," she added.

Reese turned back to Vannie when she asked if she took the Pepperup. She slowly nodded her head and said, "Yes, I did." She was glad she took the potion. It did make her feel a little bit better.

Now upon stepping into the Great Hall Nancy was glad that Evangeline had simply dragged her along even though the one thing she had really wanted then was to get right back onto her bed to escape the creepy, slimy and above all freezing water. Her blue eyes widened slightly at the sight of the chaos inside the hall: wet students everywhere, a few professors and the intern healer somewhere among them, people screaming, people crying. Whoa...

Her face still white as a sheet Nancy gave the female Slytherin Prefect a small smile and a nod as she followed her up to the Slytherin Table, collapsing onto the bench right beside her. Clearing her throat Nancy's voice still sounded quite husky as she replied, "Yes, we did make it. Uhm...thanks again for you know...saving me and stuff." She dropped her eyes to the floor, her flaming cheeks standing out even more obviously against her pale skin. Why hadn't she just jumped into the water and got out of the dormitory on her own? It wouldn't have been that difficult. Why had she been afraid of water? Water?! Jeez...

Constantine climbed down off the table, clutching at his side as he tried to stabilize himself on his own two feet. Ugh, where was Madison when he needed her most...

Slowly, he started to walk down the length of the table, trying not to fall over in front of the students. His dignity had already taken enough damage.

Evangeline's eyes were closed as she rested her elbows on the table, trying to find strength to go look for Clifford when she heard someone calling her name. Opening her eyes, Evangeline looked at the little boy .. Aaron, wasnt it? And what was he talking about? Clifford? Worried and ... hurt?! Really hurt? "What?" She asked, quickly standing up, all signs of tiredness leaving. Clifford was hurt?! "Lead the way!" She told the boy, and turned back to Nancy .. who seemed as pale as a ghost. Oh boy.

"Don't worry about that .. it was nothing, really." Evangeline told her, in a dismissive way, when she spoke about her saving her. Eh. It was simply her duty, nothing more! And now she wanted Clifford ... she couldnt have him hurt! "I'll be right back, okay? I'll .. call you the nurse for you.." She assured the girl with one tug at her lower lip before turning and following the boy.

And boy, was this a mess.

Hayley stopped flailing when she heard the Healer lady's voice...okay...so she wasn't being keeled afterall! Ooops? Annnd...she didn't hear Jude yelling anymore, "Uhm...Miss! Is Jude alive still?...cuz I was going to save him..." Hayley's eyes were squeezed shut, Hayley whispered to the healer, "I think people are trying to KILL us! Why else would the dungeons have flooded? And I thought that someone was killing Jude..and a girl was squeezing me..and then I ran...and then I bumped into a big person...and now my eyes hurt and I can't SEE....I'm sorry," Hayley sniffled. "I'm scared..."

"oh..." Vanessa looked a little worried. Was Evie still down there? Glancing at Miles, the small girl quickly got up, and went over to Clifford, who was looking a little unhappy.
"Clifford...shes gonna be okay." Vanessa nodded, patting his arm. Okay that was odd. "Evie has to be okay. She will be....Oh...Clifford...Evies...here." Vanessa spoke quietly, nodding her head towards her friend. Clifford would be okay now right?

"I'm glad you weren't down there." Vanessa spoke quietly, only really wanting Miles to here. "What would have happened if you had drowned? What would I have done." She sighed, glad that it hadn't come to that.
"You and you're food." Vannie sighed, as she watched him, glad that he was okay. "Im little miss prefect remember. I hear things." Vannie smiled at him. "No...Miles...I haven't been down there...Im not wet."

Well that wasn't nice.

They were sharing a perfectly nice hug over a saved kitty, and now he'd lost points? Raiden bit his lip and snuggled Roscoe close instead. Apparently hugging was a bad idea, especially when it was with professors? He'd have to keep that in mind. Catching Clifford's look at him, he simply mouthed 'I'm sorry', then watched as chaos claimed the Head Boy.

"Sorry... professor..."

Speaking of professors... He turned and moved numbly toward Professor Truebridge, only to get blocked by Anna. She seemed... panicky. He eyed her for a moment, confused, before he realized what she was on about. She'd seen him taking his... oops.

"It's... it's fine, Anna," he said weakly, shaking his head. "It's a calming thing that my mum made for me, because if I get too scared or excited or anything... I get sick." Apparently Cela and Nicholai hadn't gone around telling everyone he was perpetually sick, thank goodness. "It won't mess up whatever you gave me, I promise."

Escape. He slipped past Anna and approached Professor Truebridge, eyes on his feet. He would've just run up and hugged that man as well, but... he'd learned his lesson about that, hadn't he.

"Professor Truebridge..." he said softly, as Roscoe peered around and miaowed softly. The cat looked at the man, and if cats could smile, he probably would have. He started purring instead and headbutted Raiden in the chin. "I wanted to thank you too... I would hug you but I got in trouble for... hugging..."

He wasn't sure what had happened in the dungeons, but Professor Truebridge had been there too, and he might've had a hand in saving Roscoe. So... he deserved thanks too, right?

And ooh there was Kiri too! He noted her sitting at the table just a little bit away, looking cold and scared... poor Kiri! Raiden bit his bottom lip.

"Kiriii," he said softly, hoping she would hear him. "Are you okay?"

Nancy heaved a sigh as she continued to stare down at the table in front of her, not even glancing the other way to see if all her friends were alright. She could be certain that the table was alright, though. A shiver ran down her spine probably partly due to the cold wetness surrounding her and partly due to the just experienced.

Very slowly the 14 year old had just started to close her eyes to give in to the wave sleepiness that had just washed over her as Evangeline spoke up again, first dismissing her apologies and then telling her that she would be right back. Something about going to see how Clifford was doing. Of course she had to search for her boyfriend. Where was Steven anyway? Not that he was her boyfriend or anything but still, it would have been nice to have him around now.

With a muttered, barely audible "M'kay" directed at Evangeline Nancy wrapped her arms around herself in an attempt to get warmer again, a method which turned out to not be exactly successful, though. Blanket. Bed. Blanket. Bed. Blank- That was all she wanted at the moment.

"It's alright Clifford," Cari conjured him a towel and helped him to his feet. "I have plenty more. But it seems I need to redouble my unbreakable charm." Go find Evangeline, she made it back, safe and a bit... slimy. Grab some towels and blankets, and go see her. Have her see me for a potion when she gets dried off."

He deserved a break, especially after dealing with this one.

"I'm going to say this once, and once only." Cari drew herself up to her considerable height, with her hands on her hips. She answered in a way that most people knew not to argue with, "We are TRYING to maintain order in here. YOU seem to be doing your level best to disrupt it. NOBODY is trying to kill us; five points from Slytherin for trying to start a rumour to that effect and inciting general panic among your peers. As we have not to my knowledge had ANY deaths this term, I can say with relative authority, your friend Jude is alive. It's your own fault that you crashed into Clifford, wipe your eyes. And calm yourself." She handed her another conjured towel and waited.

Anastasia didn't even say a word, but rather made an indignant "hmmph!" sound and strolled off. She walked right past the ambling groundskeeper and back to Kazimeriz's table, sitting down opposite the potions master with the cup of tea. If no one wanted her tea, she would just have a special cup for herself.

Mmmmtea. Wasn't good stuff, but it was gooood. And this was as good a time as any to sit there and observe the madness around her, sniggering at the nurse for fun, ignoring the wet students, ah yes. Annie still had yet to figure out the reason for the wet dungeons...and she was awfully curious.

Cam attempted not to frown but he did so anyways and stepped back a step when she was starting to get angry. Bleh. She looked as though she was disappointed in him and he really did want to say sorry and all, but was too prideful to say it. That had been the only exception he had for Anna right now--not going to be say sorry or ... something similar to that. He was released from the hug aaaand... patted on the head?

Oooh did girlfriends do that to their boyfriends? Or ... was she just treaaating him like some kiddy kid. Well duuhhhh, she soooo wanted him so of course not the second one.

He sighed. "Alright, Anna. I'll see ya later..."

Drink it... driiiiink it! Cam gave her a look similar to the one of the old witch's when giving Snow White the apple. But in this situation, that expression was a good one because hypothermia was really not something anybody would want. Dru was probably waaayyy too cold right now and from her drenchiness, maybe even colder than the cold he felt. She was a short one and even if he himself was some midget, she was still a bit shorter than him.

That would have meant it had already gone up to her head by the time he was searching for them lemurs. Orrrrr she got in time quickly enough but it still wouldn't explain her all wet. Was she a good swimmer? Hmm.

He smiled when she took a drink but she still looked scared. Bleh. Cam was hoping that potion would make her feel all better and act all happy again. Sadly it didn't. Gahhhhhh. "You should get out of that tableeee. Trust me, you do not want the smell of shoes or feet when someone sits there. By the way, where's Diane? Did ya see her get out?"

There! She made the Banana Happy! Goody, Goody Gum Drops! At least she was on someone's good side at the moment, but still all this wetness was becoming a bit much and her common room was right around the corner. OH and that KaziMan was here too! Time to leave or become a contributor to the negative points of Hufflepuff.

"Ok! I need to change clothes. I'm freezing and...I look like a wet dog." She smelled like one too! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwww!

He was SURE he could hear Evangeline somewhere. He just wasn't sure if he was hearing her in his head or not. Maybe that fall had knocked him out a little? He was sure he'd felt his brain rattling around in his skull when he'd hit the stone floor.

Or maybe he wasn't a delusional crazy person. Had he heard that right? Miss Caroline said Evangeline had made it back safetly? Oh thank Merlin. "Thank you, Ma'am," the Head Boy said eternally grateful as she helped him to his feet and handed him a towel.

He was going to get his Evie. And he wasn't going to let her go again anytime soon either.

"Evie?" She was really there! Right in front of him! Sure, she resembled some sort of swamp monster.. but she was THERE! Not caring about her being soggy, Clifford wrapped his arms tight around her middle, giving her the biggest squeeze EVAH. "I'm so glad you're safe.. you have no idea how much I was worrying.. it was bloody awful.. don't you ever do that again! Ever, ever!"

Sniffling ever so slightly, Clifford leant back and wrapped the towel he had tightly around Evangleline's shoulders.

Hayley took a deeeeeeeeeeeeeep breath..."I apologize. I'm sorry. I was legitimately scared that we were going to be all killed. I thought the flood was supposed to trap us and drown us all...I was scared....I don't think straight when I'm scared," Hayley sniffled..."Please forgive me, Miss?" Hayley rubbed at her sore eyes..."Can you make the stingies go away, please? They hurt alot and I can't see and I'm sorry...and I wanna apolgize to the big person...but I can't see the big person..." Hayley pointed her nose in the general direction of the nurse, eyes still squeezed shut, trying to block the stingies.

Had somebody said her name? Kiri looked up. Most students appeared to be preoccupied with themselves, wringing out their wet robes and talking to each other. Her gaze shifted down the table. And there was Raiden! He stood amidst a crowd of teachers. An older Gryffindor student was fussing around him, too.
She was relieved to see him. Obviously everything was alright, but it was good to see him nonetheless.

Kiri put down the feebly protesting Sol and waved at Raiden. He looked as scared and confused as she felt, but didn't seem to be in injured or anything. What the teachers were doing there, Kiri didn't know, but he was hugging a cat close to his chest. It was the first time she realised he had a cat (if it was his). "Stay here," she told the pygmy puff, and stood up. Slowly and still a little shakily, Kiri squelched over to him, wet robes sliding on the ground behind her.
"'scuse me," she mumbled as she passed one of the teachers.

"Raiden," she said quietly when she stood next to him. "Hi." She let herself sink onto the bench, unsure of what to say - not that she knew if she could say much more. "Are you okay?"

"DO YOU HAVE SWIMMER'S EAR?" Caroline said loudly, thrusting the towel into the girl's arms, "I said, 'WIPE YOURSELF OFF!'"

She was a bit young to require an ear trumpet.

She'd expect it from Kazimeriz, but then he was also losing his mind. "If you don't do it, that is your problem, not mine, but don't tempt me to take off more points."

Hayley winced as the lady yelled....another mean one. First Kazi...then BunBunz...and now the Healer...was everyone here...Hayley took the towel that was thrust rather rudely into her arms. She hadn't known the lady was offering her a towel...she couldn't SEE afterall! "Thank you," she mumbled, using the towel to wipe here eyes, "Sorry again." Seriously, how many times did Hayley have to apologize before the woman forgave her?! Hayley slowly opened her eyes and looked up at the lady. She didn't LOOK scary! But MAN she was mean! "I won't bother you again," Hayley said. She looked around, and spotting Jude, ran towards him.

Aaron was a tad bit annoyed. He expected a thank you or something from Clifford. So in a mocking voice he said, "'Oh, thank you Aaron for delivering this wonderful news!' Oh, you're welcome Clifford!!! i just hope you're okay!!!" he said smiling looking at Clifford get up.

Anna stood by and waited while the girl drank her potion. When the phial was empty, Anna smiled and said, "You're quite welcome. I hope you get to feeling better shortly." Seeing that the girl appeared to have everything under control, Anna shifted her tray from her right hand to her left and carried on down the table. Students were steadily filing in, and there were lots more doses of pepperup potion to be handed out.

"You're welcome," Anna said, staying just long enough to hand over the blanket, then going on her way. She glanced around the Great Hall, trying to pinpoint anyone she had yet to give the pepperup potion to. Hopefully none of the Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, or Ravenclaws who'd been down there had gone to their own house tables. They were needed down here where they could take the pepperup potion. Making a mental note to ask Healer Avalon about that, Anna moved on to Kiri, a young Slytherin girl sitting nearby.

"Hey there," Anna said, approaching Kiri and then kneeling closer to the floor. "Have you been given a phial of pepperup potion yet? If not, you'll need to take one right away." She reached down and removed a phial off the tray and handed it to the young Slytherin. "Healer's orders and all. It'll make you feel loads better and lots warmer, too." She steadied her tray, then stood to her feet. "I'll be around if you need anything else. Do take that potion now..."

As Anna walked further down the table, she once again happened upon Raiden, who was indeed looking a bit better. "Alright then," she answered, realizing that if anything was going to happen to the young boy, it would have happened already. He did look and act loads better, so she didn't see any need for alarm as of yet. "Ahh, I see. Well, I'm glad to see you've taken measures, so as not to get sick. I can see that it's not affecting your health, too. I better be on my way, Raiden Roo! See ya around!"
