"Yeah, you think you can beat me then? dont you wanna go to lunch then, trust me im not going to hex you or anything"he said with a kind smile

"Yeah, O.W.L year should be interesting. I'm Roland Baims by the way" replied Roland. "Looks like a bit of drama over there" he said glancing in the direction of the arguing couple of students. "So do you play quidditch" he asked.

Nancy stood her ground as Luke all of a sudden got up to stand right in front of her. With her chin slightly raised in a rather challenging way she raised her eyebrows at him and with a huge smirk plastered across her face said, "Oh, I'm actually pretty sure I can." With that said her eyes fell on something behind Luke which made them twinkle in amusement. Luke had just vacated the couch.

Redirecting her blue eyes up at Luke's face Nancy gave him a broad grin before without another word she quickly ducked around him and threw herself onto the couch. She shifted slightly until she had reached a comfortable position she winked at him and with a smirk responded, "You know what? I'll think about it."

smiling as he looked at her seeing that she has finally got a place on the sofa he streched his arms and yawned
"Hey looking im going off to bed now so I'll owl you tomorrow catch ya later" he said as he lent over a pecked her on the cheek as got up as headed for the boys dorms

From his seat in the common room, Steven watched cautiously the interaction between the random... tall... ugly... guy... and tried to make sure that his face didn't show that he was wondering if he could go and situate himself between him and his best friend. His girl.

He gulped and asked Paris if she was okay, while he noticed that Luke had stood up, and moved over to where Nancy was standing. He gulped a little, keeping one eye on them as he listened to Paris... trying his very best to listen to their conversation and Paris at the same time.

Smirking, he watched Nancy steal the sofa from him. He wanted to tell her that he was proud of her - but that would have been butting into her conversation and not listening to Paris. So he kept quite.

WOAH!!! What happened there!?!?!

He gulped, as he watched Luke straighten and move over to the stairway. He frowned, as he watched Nancy lying on the sofa... Stunned and silent. That wasn't a good thing either. He frowned more as he tried to pay attention to his girl.

"Oh, hello, Dru," said Diane, a petite first-year student who had approached the couch in the general area of crowd activities no long since she had descended from the stairs. "Doesn't it seem to you like the school is hectic for some reason?"

Two Quidditch fans, a flirt and its pray, the preoccupied older student watching them, and this boy talking to Dru were the people currently staying in the... common room, was it the name?

"Who is that," she asked about the boy in question nonchantedly, forgetting that Dru wasn't exactly fans of her, while settling herself in the portion of couch not quite filled with further material entities or bodies.

Dru was in shock. The strange and slightly nasty girl from the train was talking to her, and she was being rather friendly at that. "Hi," she replied untrustingly, like a gazelle would greet a lion if such a situation should ever arise.

School being hectic? She had no clue. "I dunno," she replied shrugging her shoulders. "I've only been here really." She watched Diane seat herself down before looking at the boy next to them. "Yes, who are you?" she asked. Other than a liar

"Well, sure. Because I made him vanish into thin air." Cam tried to act all cool but that was certainly impossible wasn't it? And this girl was laughing which meant that she knew that he was lying. Wasn't he the bestest liar in the world? Pants on fire... what the! He looked down at his robes ... just in case if his pants really were on fire. And well it wasn't. Which was good.

A girl came up to them and all he could sadly think was if they had cooooties or anything. Ew. He looked at her as though his eyes had said "Hectic happens everyday" because it certainly did, didn't it? Crazy things--or crazy people would suit it better, were roaming around school everywhere.

...like him.

But he was only crazy sometimes. "I'm Caaaaaaam, 2nd year Slytherin and I am totally not a liar. Youuu're the liar for saying that I'm the liar." He looked towards the other girl, now looking at her confusingly. "Aaaand who must you be?"

Dru tilted her head to one side and smiled at the boy, still a mixture of confused and amused by him. "Well Caaaaaaaam," she said, mimicking how he said his name. "If I'm a liar because you're a liar, is Diane a liar too?"

She didn't know if Cam would understand what she had said, she didn't think she understood what she had said but never mind, it had already been heard.

"I must be not as intriguing and interesting as yourself, Mr Cam," replied Entelequia, a twinkle of amusement in her eyes. "This place certainly seem different from what I imagined. A strange place for dormitories too."

On the other hand... what exactly had Dru just said? "Call me Diane," she said addressing directly and at last the boy of the long vocals. And she frowned lightly. "What was that you said? You vanished a person in midair?"

Did the girl just ask if Diane was a liar too? Cam... well he didn't really know what the heck she meant by that question because that girl who he assumed to be Diane... she didn't even really do anything. But questions had to be answered, right? "Well duhhh! Girls are always liars." Oh yeah he just said that and he added a smirk just to prove that he meant it. "So basically, you're a liar for not calling me a liar and you're friend is a liar, just 'cause!" That'll do it.

And then he looked at the other girl and then made a faint smile when she said he was intriguing and interesting. ...I totally am. He wasn't sure if that was a compliment or an insult but he indeed liked being called intriguing and interesting. Heeeeheee. "I know I am," he answered and then nodded while smiiiirking.

"Yes, I did vanish a person in thin air. Because I'm... I'm magical."

"I believe that makes me I'm a liar by succession," Diane contemplated. "Or is it by generalization?"

Diane considered not without curiosity the conversation these two had been having before she came along, and brought herself to ask:

"I wonder, did actual employement of magic took place in your vanishing of this person," she brought out her wand, "or was it a more Houdini kind of trick?" A glint of something maniacal was coming into Diane's eyes as well. Maybe it was just the smirk. "Maybe you could instruct us on the finest methodical details to disappear a person in thin air..."

Mystic walked into the common room from the girls dorm. She went over and sat down at the study table. She then took out some stationary, quill, green ink and started to write a letter to her parents.
She stopped writing several times and looked around than wrote some more.

Xehanna walked into the common room and sat on the big comfy chair. She sat there for awhile and watched the people come and go. She had nothing to do cuz her best friend was in gryffindor. *sigh*

Looking up when Lettie starts talking, "Sorry, kind of lost in thought. I didn't mean to ignore you."

"I think that sounds like a good idea. It looks very painful..." he says with a nod, standing up, he offers her his hand.

Lettie smirked, "That's fine, I was zoned out too." She took Ott's hand for a moment and stood up, Ornlu hopped to the floor and followed. "Now I think we should head to the hospital, before it gets worse...".

Leticia stepped outside of the common room and let Ott lead the way, since he knew where he was going.

Dru turned to look at Diane, her mind was obviously working on a whole different level to hers. She stared open mouthed at the girl as she tried to work out exactly what Diane meant.

She's trying to make him tell the truth, silly! Ah yes, how clever and cunning that was. She smiled at Diane and mouth 'good one' at her.

"Yeah. I suppose you're too?" Grace said. 'Obviously she is, silly.' she thought. She looked for a nice question to ask. "How is it going so far?" she asked.

Giving Luke a smug smile from the sofa Nancy stretched slightly and crossed her legs in a way to rub it into the boy's face that she was the happy one now. And now there was no place for him. Hehe...
Oh, how boring! He apparently didn't even want the sofa back since he started yawning and talking about going to bed. Jeez... Now where was the fun in that?! Now she probably had to go back to sleep as well since otherwise her thoughts would go back to circle around the incident with the Gryffindor boy again which just made her feel really irritated and probably made her irritating as well.

With a small sigh Nancy just looked back to where Luke was standing to tell him...well she wasn't exactly sure what she had been planning to tell him, just anything to make him stay and distract her further from everything else. The only problem was that there was nobody there to tell that to. Nothing but thin air. Where had he vanished to?!

Tilting her head slightly to the side with a rather confused look on her face Nancy leaned up onto her elbows to be able to-Eep!! What the-?! The 14 year old jerked her head around with her cheek still tingling slightly from the touch of Luke's lips. Was this seriously happening?! How could he?! Fortunate for him that she didn't have her wand handy otherwise he definitely would have been lying on the floor without being able to move an inch and with boils covering his face. Or would he?

Right at that moment her brain had apparently decided to not work properly anymore since the only thing on her mind was a confusing swirl of thoughts which made absolutely no sense at all. All of a sudden she felt like she was being watched and as blue eyes scanned the room the sure fell on Steven who was staring at her with something like a frown plastered across his face. Nancy stared right back, right into his eyes, trying to comprehend what was going on. And why was he frowning?!

Cam looked at her with a bit of confusion in his expression. Diane used big words, or well, bigger words than the words he usually said. But he knew what she meant and continued with his smirk. "Oh well by generalization, duhh. You're. A. Girl. Unless..." he hesitated for a moment, "No, I totally know you're a girl and every girl is a liar. That's a fact!" He was sooooooo right. But seriously, he couldn't really outsmart this girl just like that. Blehhh. Wait, vaguely logical? ...Oh yeaaaah, he was a wizard. That's what months without magic could to do you.

He wondered for a minute; what was he suppose to say? That he used a magician trick or some real magic? And then he just blurted out what was on his mind.

"It's more like a mix of both, I guess. And here's how you do it," he reached out his finger to poke her head, "Aaaaaand that's how you do it! But like... you didn't disappear because uhm... because I didn't want to make you disappear, yeah. See, it all really comes from your pancreas and liver and then the ... auratic energy comes forth from there to your finger and thus, makes someone vanish." There, that would have stopped her questions.

"OH. Aaaaand, it takes about 12 years to master it so only I could do it."

Roland ran down through the common room from his dormitory. He paused at the desk in the corner, pulled out a drawer and took a book out. He began walking out of the Common Room with his bag on his back.

Jack walked into the common room after some other people and sat down on the nearest chair.It was excactly how his dad described it and it was brilliant.

Dru's eyes widened as the boy poked Diane. "Hey!" she yelled. "Don't make my friend disappear, that's really mean!" She stood with her hands on her hips, trying her best to appear big an menacing. Dru never appeared big and menacing but she tried all the same. She wasn't sure if the boy was telling the truth or not anymore but she wouldn't take that chance.

It took a few moments for her brain to catch up with her mouth. Friend? Had Dru just called Diane her friend? Oh no, she's probably going to be mean and make fun of me now

Jack jumped as another first year started yelling at another person. So he tried not to look like it but he listened to why they were shouting.

Walking back into the common room after a long day, meeting professors, and the hospital wing. Ott finds a seat by the fire, sinking down into the corner of one of the sofas, he wonders how Lettie's day has gone.

After the hospital wing they pretty much went their own ways... She really is a remarkable girl... I wonder what she's thinking about Ricco's letter, he read to her.
