"What you want me to stay with you all the time?" Asked Sarah as she looked at Alice in shook. Sarah realised that maybe she had been a bit silly lately. "I'm sorry Alice, I didn't realise I was upsetting you so much, I only did what Brant said would be fun." She giggled trying to make Alice realise she realy didn't mean to be naughty. Quote:

Ew. It was like, so totally yellow. She hated yellow. And she hated this dumb yellow and black tie that was worse than a dog-collar around her little neck. AND, adding the list of lows, she was feeling purdy ill from the train ride over. Sure it was really awesome that she was at Hogwarts, and that there was like, food in front of her, but when one is feeling sick, one does NOT want to have food in front of you. Sitting down rather roughly, she eyed the bread and water. It was probably intelligent to stick to them. |
ooc. to anyone who wants to RP As he made his way to the Hufflepuff table he looked around for anyone that he knew. It was unbelivable empty, but maybe it was just like that now, who knows. Either way, he went and took an empty seat beside some people that he didn't know. Normally he would be shy, but as he barely knew anyone he turned to the people beside him and said, "is the Hufflepuff table always this empty?" |

As he walked alongside the Hufflepuff table he noticed two people who were familiar. "Cela and ExpelledGirl," he exclaimed, as he sat his backside beside them, without even questioning whether or not they minded. When had Varius ever had the common sense to use manners? "What are we talking about," he asked as he slurped on some orange juice, since pumpkin was too... pumpkinny. "Mr Darcy? Do you mean the gymnast in Cirque du soMAGICK? He is truly amazing. Some of the stunts that man pulls off... INCREDIBLE. Juice, anyone?" |
For anyone who wants to RP (I can RP with you all :D) Ricco took a seat at the table of his newly sorted house and let his eyes dart up and down the table looking for someone to talk to. Hopefully he would have a pal by the end of this feast thing. |

"I know you worry about me Alice and I worry about you, but sometimes it's seems like you and Bee want to spend time on your own so I just let you, but when I go on my own you seem to get upset." She said as she hugged her. Sarah quickly looked at Alice again as she lifter her head upto her. "I promise, I'll stay safe and I'll try to make you happy, that's all I want to do is make you happy." She said. When she said about no more pranking George she giggled again. "I Promise Alice." |
Hope you don't mind my charrie talking to yours! :-) Quote:
Sarah pushed open the door to the Great Hall and looked around. Not as many people as she thought there would be. I can't be early, surely. Smoothing out her robes, which had become creased from being stored in her trunk since being washed, she marched over to the Hufflepuff table. Glancing around at the people already there she realised that the only ones she recognised were a couple of the older girls..and they were busy talking to each other.Everyone else was either new to Hogwarts or just to her. Sighing she decided that she would at least sit near someone in the hope of getting a conversation started. Clambering into a seat next to a boy that looked slightly older than her,Sarah smiled, hoping that he wouldn't mind her presence. Then he spoke.Maybe not to her directly but Sarah decided to answer him anyway as no-one else seemed to be about to. "It can be yeah, especially early on.Have you not sat here before then?" she asked, somewhat confused. |
After the sorting hat made it's desion toAsh patiently waited her turn to put the sorting hat on her head. Ash slowly walked up the steps to the stool with the legendary hat on it. Ash slipped on to the stool and waited foe the hat to be placed on her head. The hat contemplated putting her into Ravenclaw, but in the end shouted “HUFFLEPUFF”. Ash climbed off of the stool and walked down the path down to the yellow and black table. Slipping into a seat Ash wondered what this year would bring her. |

As much as it wasnt very crowded people from other houses had came over to the table adn were sitting there. The closest free couple of seats were beside a boy. Around thrid or fourth year. And, there was no hecking way in hell that she wasnt going to sit there and not speak to anyone, that would make her feel isolate and like she was being a plumholee and was going insanee. So she sat beside him. Now, which was the nicest and not scariest way to speak to him. Heyyy? No, WAYY too in your face. Helloo. No, too mummish. Haiii, YEAH. that was the boomashackalackalacka way to do it. "Haii. Im Tammy." She grinned pulling both her legs under the table. |
and prefect one of Hufflepuff has arrived ... ;) Quote:
Despite his still minor jealousy from the incident with the shopkeeper in Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, his golden eyes wandered to the Ravenclaw table, which was coupled with many new, bubbling first years. But he was easily able to spot her and her dark hair, looking more lovely than ever. Swallowing hard, he pulled his eyes away and directed his focus instead towards his own house table. Time to meet some new first year Hufflepuffs. Aussie voice that sounded very familiar. OH! It was the one he heard in Florean's, with her. Ugh; more reminders. The Hufflepuff prefect continued to search down the table until his eyes rested on one whom he was at one time on friendly terms with. Kaika Lockhart. But he hardly spoke to her during the Championship Game last term and was sure it had something to do with Willow Kovac and what Vanessa had inconveniently shared at the Victory party a week or so prior - a party he had not attended. Best to not bring it up, he decided - especially if he wanted to play quidditch again this term. Quote:

Dominic instead did something rare and took the advice of former Prefect, Kayla Winters, from the letter he received just prior to boarding the train in London. Quote:

Losing himself amongst the chattering students, Helios took the first seat available to him. Despite being one of the taller students, he did what he could to hide in plain site. Everyone seemed to be looking their best in their new school robes while he was shrouded in the tatters of last year. While not a self concious wizard, the boy couldn't help but be annoyed with the persistent little black smudge on his nose. While his stomach rumbled like a hungry beast, the princes mind was on a warm bath and a change of clothes. Which was more pleasent than his real concerns, mainly having detention with Kaz after the feast. |
Strolling into the great hall, Elan looked about the room crowded with students. He looked with melancholy over at the ravenclaw's table wondering if he can see Nia. Not being able to locate her, he shuffles over to the Huffie table and takes a seat, hoping to be left alone until he can find Nia and catch up with her. |
permission granted, yo Quote:
Panting, Jake tried to slow down to a walk before he entered the Great Hall. This, he successfully managed, but the momentum carried him down... down the hall... down to the floor. Looking around, Jake picked himself back up onto his feet and immediately stumbled... ... ... into Dominic Denton. WHAM! And Jake was back on the floor, groaning, pink hair splayed out. "Sorry, Dominic," Jake wheeze-groaned. |
Covering her mouth as she yawned softly, Kaitlynnh pulled herself up to sit straight in her seat. Running her fingers through her dark locks, she brushed the curls from her face and let her arms fall to her side. Rather than peeking over at the Gryffindor table again, her dark chocolate brown orbs scanned the many heads over at the table of blue and bronze; it was a hopeless idea, trying to find a certain small Ravenclaw boy amongst the other students from where she sat across the room. She knew one Hufflepuff, but not where he currently was. Cyrus had been put into Hufflepuff before she had, obviously. His last name started with an 'A', and hers was an 'M', so he went before her. The little girl wasn't even sure she wanted to talk to any of the boys in the first place, she wasn't really in the mood for any of their nonesense tonight. Returning her gaze to the empty plate infront of her, Katie folded her hands on her lap and began to swing her feet back and forth from the bench, waiting for the feast to end. |

Had he been paying more attention, he should have also noticed the blur of pink hair running fast and used his Prefect abilities to tell the kid to slow down. Pink hair? What!? Why did that seem familiar? It took a collision into his back, that lurched his muscular frame forward only by shock and the sound of a wheezy familiar voice that made the sixth year turn around and glare at the boy splayed on the floor behind him. Jacob Upstead. "You should know better than to run in the Hall," Dominic told the now second year, trying to cool his anxiety. |
Quote:
Why. Have. I. Been. Running?! "Ohhhhh," Jake groaned, winded. Pulling himself up into a sitting position, Jake used someone on a nearby bench as a support, and was halfway onto his feet before he noticed he was pulling on Denton. Swiftly letting go, Jake fell back down onto the floor. "Ouch," he yelped, but it was only out of surprise. Ready to apologise, Jake stared up at his prefect, but stopped himself. "Technically, I wasn't running in here, I slowed down. Technically, I was falling and stumbling in a fast manner," he explained as though it was obvious. Shaking his head, Jake felt his face to make sure everything was in tact, and was about to try and stand up again, but remembered the mishap last time. "Errrrrm, Dominiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiic," Jake started in a voice that blatantly showed he was angling for something. "Couldn't help me up, couldja?" |
Quote:
Well, not yet. Until he felt an unnatural tug on his robes and then the thunk of Jacob falling back to the ground. For a talented quidditch player, Jake was sure clumsy too. "Um..." Wait, what should one do after yelping ouch? Biting his lower lip, he watched the second year and took a deep breath, unsure of his next words. "Technically, I don't care for the physics of you stumbling and falling, because you were evidently not paying attention to your path in front of you. Thereby your vision was obstructed and you were unable to see the fact that I was sitting here, nor were you able to control your speed enough to stop before colliding into me. Thus bringing you to the floor." He ranted on his own explanation for why this was all the second year's fault. Though it was a stupid argument regardless. Oh. Whining and pleading tone. Sigh. Kayla had told him to be nice to the first years, but never once mentioned of looking out for Jacob. But it was Jacob's fault to begin with; "Hmm..." Dominic murmured thoughtfully. "I could help you, yes. But the should is the real question. Give me a reason or two for why I should and then I'll consider it. Make it good. Worthy." |
Antonio was walking by the Hufflepuff table, just taking a look around. He thought about last year, how there had been so much chaos that was going on around this area, and things seemed a lot quieter this year. Still, he would miss the two boys who weren't here, who would never be here again. |
nobody. say. slytherpuff. -.- Quote:
"Huh?" Jake murmured absent-mindedly, glancing up at the boy. Something about physics and... well, he lost the rest of it. "Yeah, sure, whatever, dude," he shook his head like a dog ridding his ears of water. "You shouldn't be so... in an area... where... oh, I give up," Jake sighed, admitting defeat. But he still had something left in him. Crossing his legs where he was sat on the floor, Jake folded his arms across his chest. "Actually, I think you'll find that would is the question," he smirked, conveniently forgetting the fact that he was correcting himself. Grrrrr. "Aaaaaaaand... you are in a position of responsibility, Mister Denton, with a duty to help others. Especially members of your house. The younger ones. Who you like. Yeah, you can't hate me, you know you want to help me," Jake grinned a little cheekily. "Aaaaaaaaaaand," he intoned again. "I do have an awfully good shreiking voice... and I can make it reeeeeeally convincing that the big mean prefect is neglecting the poor, pink-haired twelve-year-old." Ahem... Yeah, living with a Slytherin tends to give you evil habits. Quote:
And then Jake remembered. The memories of Jack, especially, came flooding back. First the fear, and then the part where they became friends... and then... when he found out. Of course, he didn't mention it, but swallowed hard and nodded to the Professor. "Sir," he said in a choked voice. "How was your..." summer "... day?" Day? Pleeeease. At least now I remember... I need to see Kazi-man. |

Antonio recognized one of the students right away. "Jake, what a pleasure to see you!", he said. Seeing Jake made him remember John and Jack, Jack especially, as he knew the two of them had been involved in a few run ins. They had started off badly and had become friends in the end, but those days were gone. It was over, he reminded himself, and he would have to move on from there. He knew the memory of the boys would always haunt him as if they were his own kids, but he still had to move on. "How was your summer?", he asked. Quote:
