"Alright." Sneeze said. When Rian hugged him he remembered the days they would spend at the lake... He then started walking to the door and saw Rian doing the same. "Well, have a nice day." He opened the door and walked through. |
"Oh!" Rian exclaimed, stopping dead in her tracks. While she was here, there was no use waiting. I need something creative to unlock, she thought, knowing the room would provide that for her. She looked around, trying to find whatever it would give her. Finding nothing, she sighed and looked up. There, at the roof, was a...bird? It was a fake bird though...it looked sort of like stone. And there, on it's beak, was a lock. "Hmm," Rian murmured, staring curiously at the object. "I wonder what it'll unlock." She took a few steps forward, and reached her hand up, her wand poised to cast a spell. But she was still too short, and she couldn't be sure she'd hit the lock. Frowning, she climbed up onto a chair that suddenly popped up out of no where. Feeling slightly queasy, she raised her arm a bit hesitantly. "A-Aloham-mora!" she stammered. A feeble jet of light shot out of the wand-tip ,missing the locked bird by more than a few inches. I need something taller, she thought, not allowing herself to think about how tall taller might be. In front of the chair came a table as high as the chair back. Taking a deep breath, Rian stepped onto it. Not looking down at the ground, she once again cast Alohamora. This time, the lock came off the beak and landed on Rian's hand. She set it down on the table as the bird-thing started singing. It was the song Rian had composed just a little earlier, here in this room. She smiled and sat down on the table, listening to how it sounded. When it was finished, Rian gratefully slid off the table and hurriedly followed Sneeze out of the Room of Requirement. |
Evolette stood behind her best friend, hands placed firmly over his eyes, "All right Hugie. No peeking until I say. Got it?" she repeated for probably the fifth time on their way up to the Room of Requirement. Blue eyes darting past Hugo's head, she looked at Terry. Ready? she mouthed to him, feeling like she was going to fall over if she had to keep standing on her tip toes, especially in those shoes. |

Hokaihokai. Back to business. Check on the humoongous pile of prezzies over by the corner, complete in their shiny hot pink wrappings, all sporting HUGE silver bows. So pretty. He finally attempted to still himself as Hugo and Evolette neared the room. He was so excited he was ZEES close to forgetting how completely swathed he was in floaty pink STUFF. Pulling his pink socks higher, he finally nodded once in signal back to Evee, holding up one hand, slowly pulling down his fingers in a countdown. Three. Two. ONE. He flew into the air, a pink blur, tackling his two best friends about the waists in total abandon. 'SURPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISE HUGOOOOO!' |
"Where are we goiiiiing?" Hugo whined, for about the millionth time. His best friend had tackled him, forced him into his favourite pink shirt and then pushed him out of the common room and along the corridor. With her hands over his eyes the whole way. He'd fallen twice, and banged his head on a statue; Evolette wasn't the greatest guide! "Lettie! You stood on my heel!" He tried desperately to squint through her fingers, only to be urged to NOT PEEK...again. But WHYYYY? He was so confused! What was going on? Shuffling forward, he froze. "Lettiiiie?" He murmured. "Who's in there?" He could hear shuffling...it was coming closer! And then... "EEEEEK! HEELP! HEEEEEELP!" Hugo flailed, as the THING leapt on him, squishing him like a little pixie. "Oi? Terry, is that you? Whatta ya doing, you crazy fool?" |
Sam & Amy "Just relax Hugie. You will see soon enough." Evolette soothed, leaning over his shoulder and kissing his cheek. "Now. Stop this very minute or I am going to take you back to the common- ack!" Evolette lost her balance when Terry pounced on the two of them without warning, she clung tightly to Hugo's arm for balance, wincing. "Terrrrrrrry." she whined, pouting, "Terry. Sweetheart. Look at the shoes. Remember that you are not supposed to tackle me when I am wearing stilettos." Okay, the moment was over. Now back to Hugo. He'd better love her for putting aside her shoe crisis for him. "It's for your birthday Hugie!" she said, hugging him tightly. "Look, everything is pink, even Terry." she added with a wink. "Oh!" she suddenly remembered the tiara. Grabbing it off of the table closest to them, she placed it on Hugo's head, careful not to mess up his hair. "So, what do you think? Is it perfect?" |
'What do you think I'm doing Hugo?' Terry continued squishing the two, pointedly ignoring Evee's stilettos dilemna. 'I'm ...eating your FACE.' Sniggering, he let go of the two abruptly and then tugged the two inside. 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MATE! I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I got a tad over-excited. But think about it! Our baby's finally sixteen! You know what that means right?' He waggled his eyebrows comically. 'OMG. Yes. I'm pink even. Crazy right?' He waved his hand around to the other two. 'We all maaaaaaaatch, see?' |

...and then Evolette moved her hands to hug him. Hugo was forced inside a room, given a tiara and had a joke from Terry at his expense. But he couldn't even speak. He stood there, pink shirted and sparkly tiara-ed, his emerald eyes glazing over as he took in the scene before him. "It's so...it's so..." He was finding difficulty finding beautiful enough words to fit. "It's so me," he murmured finally, mouth hanging open as he took a step forward. And it was PERFECT. And they did MATCH; their outfits, his tiara, the cake on the table and the pile of presents. Turning to face his two friends, a grin spread across Hugo's handsome face. It was a grin unlike any that had ever been on his face in a LONG time. "Oh you twoooo!" He squeeked, throwing his arms around both of them happily. "I love you guys. SO much. Of course it's perfect! And oi Terry! I'm not the baby, just cause I got dropped a year," he snorted, chuckling. "That wasn't MY fault!" He stepped back, looking from the room, to the two friends, to the room...and then back to Evolette and Terry. "You guys did this?" He asked. "Together?" He looked from one face to the next. |
Evolette was not accustomed to holding her breath in anticipation, but at that very moment, she felt that if Hugo did not speak up soon, she would explode. But before she could even take in his reaction, she was squished up next to Terry as Hugo threw his arms around the both of them. "When did we agree that tackling become the preffered way to greet someone?" she wheezed, trying to push thoughts of her pretty pink silk shirt getting wrinkled in the shuffle. Giggling, she squeezed him back. Her bestest friend in the entire world. She was so glad that he was happy. "I love you too Hugie." she replied. Patting his hair down, because it was now sticking up at the edge as a result of being tackled one too many times, Evolette grinned. "Actually Hugie, you are the baby. By 3 months." she informed him. Evolette blanched slightly, suddenly wondering if the fact that she and Terry had indeed planned this together, if maybe Hugo wouldn't like it as much. It had been the first contact she'd made with Terry since their breakup afterall. "We did." she said, nodding eagerly, hoping that that made it even better. |

"OK...you also got to show me how to backflip." she said. It was awesome! "'Sooooo noww we learn the rest of the song?" She played the last of it, and sang. "It dont matter that your car is fly And your rims are spinning on the side And it dont matter where we go tonight Cause if im with you it'll be alright Thats cool but im looking for more Its your love that my heart beats for Cause thats me dont have to spend a dime Baby i just want your time' and then chorus..blah blah blah. Simple enough" |
Holding in a breath as Hugo finally stumbled in, Terry gleefully took in his glazed expression. He nudged Evolette subtly from behing the blond, 'HAHA, I think he rather likes this all Evee, mmyeah?' 'We love you toooooo,' he chorused, then chuckled as he squished them both, affectionately ruffling Hugo's hair, 'I wasn't talking about you in school, Woods! Age wise, you're still the youngest, remember?' Three months? REALLY. That actually wasn't too long. NOT that he was letting Hugo know that anytime soon. Mwaha. EHHHHHH. Terry stilled, then tried to relax, not wanting to ruin the moment. 'Yesh, we did actually, and without kicking or biting each other either, may I JUST add,' Hehe. |
Opening the door, Liz looks around. Even after hearing about it for years, she never expected to see what she saw. Tables lined up, and chairs, with tons of quills and parchment. Comfy chairs to sit and relax in while reading. Rows of books..."wow!" she whispers. |
As Livvy walks in this big.. large.. humongo room, there are tables.. chairs.. and everything. And books. BOOKS! A lot of them! "Eesh. Nerd mania," she muttered, grinning. Hey... she was proud to be a nerd. Livvy walked towards the books, her hands gently touching the words and the covers. |
"Okay, you win. This IS Homework Central," Copernicus's voice was a hushed whisper of awe as he wandered down the length of the room, touching things and randomly opening books. "Wow. You think we really could study in here?" |
"Absolutely." Liz replies. "And if your ever in need of something, just think it. Like I'd really like to have an olive colored quill." Looking around, you spot a quill sitting in the middle of the table. Pointing, "See there is an olive colored quill." "How about you try it." Liz says with a grin. |
"There's really nothing else I could want. This room is perfect," Copernicus continued to study the books lining the shelves. |
Isn't food the first of the five Principal Exceptions to Gamp's Law of trans? ;o) Liz walks over and sits in a comfy chair. "I like it here, it's definitely a nice quiet place to study." ...and other things... |
I was trying to be goofy and got carried away, I guess. I editted. "It IS quiet," Copernicus agreed. "Maybe too much so. The library is quiet too... what does this place have that the library doesn't?" |

He listened to her very closely. He wasnt going to mess up this time. Finally it was his turn. He waited for the music, then sang: It dont matter that your car is fly And your rims are spinning on the side And it dont matter where we go tonight Cause if im with you it'll be alright Thats cool but im looking for more Its your love that my heart beats for Cause thats me dont have to spend a dime Baby i just want your time. "How was it?" He asked with a grin. |
"I think it has anything you want when you need it." Liz says after a few minutes of thought. I mean, if you left your extra quills in your dorm, you would need to go back and get them, if you went to the library..." "You also wouldn't need to worry about the library closing for the night," Liz says with a small laugh. |
I'm for bed! Night! "That sounds about right," he flopped down onto an overstuffed chair. "I want a bed and a cup of cocoa..." He laughed when a pillow appeared. "Okay, I didn't mean I wanted to spend the night here." |
Laughing outloud, Liz says "Well, you did say that." Turning to Copernicus, she asks him a question, seeing that Livvy is busy looking at the different books. "Can I ask you something?" |
Quote:
"Wow! You did an awesome job...together." He smiled, happier than he'd been in a long time. Quote:
And they really had thought. Wow, he loved them uber muuuch. |
"Although, there was some hyperventilating." Evolette added under her breath, twisting a strand of hair around her finger, innocently. Biting her lip, she waited for it all to be ruined. She was certain, for some reason, that Hugo was not going to like it so much after he realized they'd done it together; and she really didn't even know why. "WE didn't make the cake silly." she giggled, tilting her head, "The house elves did." Tossing a glance at Terry, she quite hoped that he would keep the "Evolette flirted with a house elf story" underwraps. "Terry thought it would be fun to put a girl in there." she added, shaking her head slowly. "But I told him no." Honestly! Did he really think that Evolette McKenna would let another girl steal her spotlight? As if. She stared at the cake, standing alongside Hugo and Terry, then raised an eyebrow, "So, are we going to eat it? Or look at it?" |
Exaggeratedly, Terry hacked a cough, spluttering in indignance. 'I think I'm going to have to avoid for a whole year now, right until your NEXT birthday!' He swallowed a snigger, attempting to look perfectly serious. WOOOOOT. The cake. 'Butbutbut!' Terry exclaimed, pointing with his pinky to the pretty pink icing. 'That was done by me! The house elves, err were too shor to reach the very top, see?' Sapphire eyes twinkling, he shrugged lazily at the two, 'What? I thought he might appreciate the gesture you know?' Clapping, he pointed excitedly to the sixteen lit candles with their daning pink flames. 'You've got to blow them out first Hugo! And make your wiiiiish!' |

Livvy looked towards where Copernicus and Liz stood once she heard those five words. Liz was gonna do it. Inside, Livvy was proud of her. She hoped things would bode well for her. For the time being, Livvy will just stay out of the way. Livvy picked out a promising book and sat down, a distance away but still within earshot. |
Looking nervous, she looks at him, and says "A few of us were wondering...If someone really liked you, would you want to know?" |
Livvy peeked up over her book casually. She rolled her eyes at what Liz said to him. She caught Liz's eyes and gave her the No-More-Chit-Chat-Just-Spit-It-Out look. Livvy glanced at Copernicus who was taking an awfully long time to respond. What would he say? Livvy was practically sending Liz to her own doom here. Copernicus liked Cela.. What was Livvy doing, letting Liz do this? |

Turning pinker by the minute. "umm, like a boyfriendy thingy, I guess..." |
"I... don't know. It's unlikely to happen, so you probably shouldn't worry about whether you'd have to tell me or not. I mean..." He gestured to himself. "I'm a social moron. You know that." |
"But...I" looking down, Liz nods. "I don't think your a social moron. I think..." |
He grinned. "Well, I appreciate that, Liz. It's not totally true, but I appreciate it." He flopped back against the couch. "Everyone at Hogwarts is so nice, you know? They were... not always nice at Beauxbatons. Too concerned with themselves." |
Now if I say what I really feel, he'll think that about me! she thinks to herself. With another nod, "I...I'm glad that you like it here. I...think it's fun...spending time with you." she finishes really lamely. "Maybe we could do this more often." "So, what would you do, if you knew someone really liked you...you know in that way?" |
"It's fun spending time with you, too," he grinned again. "I never had a lot of girl friends in France, but it seems that's all I have here. I suppose I'm afraid male friends will all turn out like Plymouth." He paused, blush creeping up his neck. Why was she asking about this still? "I don't know, Liz. To be honest, I've never had that happen before. I don't know what I'd do. I hope I'd be a gentleman." |
"Sorry" Liz says looking up at him, "I didn't mean to embarrass you." Sitting up straighter "I just wanted to say that...I don't know how to...I mean I..." stammering she stops. she slumps down, and looks down at her hands in her lap. "I mean, maybe we could go out for walks more often, maybe not every night, but..." Now, that was pathetic! she angrily thinks to herself, but gives Copernicus a small smile. |
"Yeah," Copernicus agreed. "You were right about the moonlit strolls, you know? I'm not much for the outdoors, but there's something about this place." |
"I agree, walking around is nice, but I like the peacefulness here too." looking around, she wonders if she has the nerve to just say it. "I'm a little embarrassed..." she whispers. "I'm sorry if I made you embarrassed too." Looking down with a frustrated look in her eyes. "I want to say something, but I'm afraid to ask, and think it will sound stupid, too..." Trying to send a message to Livvy, Liz glances over to her Help!!! |
Livvy bit her lip as she listened to the conversation. Amazing how quick she could be forgotten. Boy she felt alone. At the last thing that Liz said about taking strolls again, Livvy slapped her hand to her forehead. A little too loudly. She quickly dropped the book quietly to her stomach and pretended she was asleep. Even allowed her some dramatic effect by breathing a bit loud. |
"Not embarrassed, just... I'm not good at this whole emotional thing. My parents loved each other but they weren't effusive with it, and I never... you know... really had a big interest in girls. Never had time for it." He leaned forward. "You can talk to me, but since I'm not so good at all the emotional stuff... maybe you want Livvy too?" |
She liked hearing more about his parents, it felt nice that he was opening up a little. "Are you interested in being involved with one now?" shocked at her own words, she wishes she could take them back. She'd already embarrassed him enough. "I mean, if one of them told you they wanted to go out with you...ImeanIlik..." stopping and ducking her head in embarrassment. Oh, my gosh...now I've done it... |
He swallowed hard and gave her a very level look. "Maybe you want to think about whatever it is you want to tell me and consider... not telling me right now. Because the thing is... the thing is that I really like being friends with you and Livvy and Rian. I would... hate to lose that." |
Nodding, Liz looks horrible. "I'm sorry..." Just wanting to leave, because she had embarrassed him, herself and probably Livvy, she looks up at him and says "It's getting late, I think...maybe we should go." "I hope you don't...hate me for this." she says with a catch in her voice. |
"No!" He slid forward and took her hand. "I respect you a great deal for being so brave. I'm not brave at all. I just... I hope you don't hate me for saying that's just not where I am right now. Boys always mature way more slowly than girls, did you know?" He tried to joke. |
"I couldn't hate you..." she whispered, when he took her hand. "And I do, want to stay your friend" with a small smile "If you want to still." Thinking sadly Maybe Winters was right...poor Copernicus, Plymouth and Cela...what a mess. |
"Good," he put his other hand over hers so her hand was trapped. "Can we still do the strolls, or is that... reserved for other people now?" |
"No, I don't mind. It gets kind of lonely going by myself." Liz says quietly looking down at their hands. "And if papa knew I was doing that alone, I think I'd be in trouble...he hasn't found out in 3 years." she says with a short laugh. |
He let go of her hands when she looked uncomfortable. "Surely the grounds at Hogwarts are safe, if anywhere in the world is. But... my dad worried about bizarre things when my mom died too. He got all germaphobic." |
"I think so too," Liz replies "No one can get in those gates, that I know of...anyway. Particularly muggles." "Mine just got wierd, I guess," she says with a laugh. "He is now determined that any animal or creature on our land, must be helped, in every way possible. Including the gnomes!" |
"Why do you think that is? I mean, I get the germ thing. He doesn't want either of us to get sick," Copernicus slumped into his seat. "What would the reason be for taking care of those animals?" |
"I have no idea," completely stumped about it "I mean, if it was to keep them off, I'd understand, for our protection, and to keep them out of our garden. But to feed them...no idea." "I guess it's one way for me to learn about those creatures. But we do have fun with the degnoming each summer..." |
He laughed. "I've always wanted to do that, actually. Well, no. To be honest, I haven't. It looks fun, but awfully dirty, and I'm likely to get bit. Maybe I've always wanted to watch it." |
Sorry...off to bed "Your always welcome to join us. We have a huge get together with friends and family. It's a week after the end of term." Liz says looking at him again, "Maybe you and Plymouth could come." |
Yup, me too. Night! Quote:

"Ohhhhh. Makes sense!" Hugo contemplated, wondering how on earth they managed to persuade the elves to bake a whole cake. Sure, they loved making stuff for students, but normally small orders like cookies or cupcakes. But THIS...he ogled at the cake, mouth watering. "Very well done on the icing," he complimented. He laughed at the 'girl in cake' joke, and winked at Terry happily. "Sure...LET'S EAAAT!" He squeeked, clapping his hands together. Oh oh oh! Taking a deep breath, he huffed with all his might, and each candle was extinguished. WOOHOO! |

Still hurt, a little, she guesses that won't go away for awhile. Maybe I should find Rian, she'll understand, she's going through something like this now with Sneeze... |
Livvy had actually fallen asleep, right when she was pretending too. Oh well. They didn't seem to notice one bit. It was all cool. She opened one eye and stood up, yawning. Livvy walked towards them with a weary look and said, "Hate to burst your guys' bubble. But don't you think it's rather late and time to go sleepy doo?" |
Amelia walked into the 7th floor corridor, the place she had been constantly hearing the music coming from. A few days ago she had overheard some older students talking about the so called "room of requirement." Is this where it was? Now, how do i get inside again? Oh, yeah. Amelia paced up and down the hallway. She had to know if it was here. She tried focusing on a room that contained piano, but it was difficult with all the different levels of that composition floating through her head. Come on! she thought. I need a piano to compose! When she looked up, there was a door there. She went over and opened it. Inside, it had a GRAND piano on a slightly raised dais in the middle, with variety of instruments arrayed around it. "Perfect" she muttered. She felt the rush of energy flowing down her arms, and into her fingers. She looked down to find the subconsciously playing the piano part for that song that was rushing through her head. All of her yearned to go to that beautiful instrument in the room, but she shook herself. "No. You have homework, and a MIA best friend to find. Come on. Go!" She gave herself another small shake, and shut the door on the one room she had wanted to find in this school. "I'll be back." She muttered, to whom, she didn't know. |
"Yeah, you're probably right," Copernicus scrambled to his feet and shoved his hands in his pockets for lack of a better thing to do with them. "I'll escort you ladies back to the common room." |
Nodding, Liz agrees. Standing up she heads to the door with them. |
Livvy grinned. "Why thank you Copernicus. Such a gentleman," she said, winking at him. She then headed out the door. |

Robert chuckled slightly as Mari spoke, "That's a good thing to do. Otherwise you'd just be upset all the time." Hearing her sigh he smiled slightly and did likewise as he sank into the chair. At her words however his eyes flew open and he sat up, "What do you mean? I didn't do a bloody thing to you to deserve that." As she continued he stood up and threw his hands in the air in exasperation, "You have to be kidding me! I was bloody joking! If I were going to do something to you as payback I wouldn't do something I can't undo!!!!" He stood in front of her, meeting his glare with one of his own, "See and there's the bloody difference! You DID do it on purpose. Whether you knew how to get me out or not it doesn't matter!" He groaned in frustration and walked away a few steps before turning back, "Why are you so bloody aggravating all the time?! I just...you make me...gahhh!" |

Amanda headed into the room of requirement with her guitar case and she sat down on a stool that appeared for her. She set her guitar case down and took out her electric guitar, plugging it into an amp and starting to play one of her own songs. |
Ok. His bass needed electricity, something that didn't exist in Hogwarts. But...how about in a room where Emiliano would request it? The Room of Requirement! He smiled and then remembered, he wanted to meet the band there. The band...it just sounded great. As he took a walk into the room, he noticed Amanda was there too. He smiled at her, then he spoke. "Hey, Amanda..." He said with a smile on his face. |
Amanda looked up from her guitar and noticed Emiliano there with his bass. "Hey Emiliano, want to just play some music together for a bit until Rogue and Chris show up?" She asked as she stood up from the stool she was sitting on, and turned the knob on the amp up a bit. |

Perfect place for two love birds to spend a little bit of time together in a place only they knew.Jack had his hands in his pockets as he waited for her to arrive in the spot he'd said in the owl he'd sent her 12 minutes prior. He whistled to himself whilst he waited. He had a perfect place in mind for them two |
Ella walked in..jeez it was dark. She had to take a second view to find out her lover boy. There he stood, with hands shoved into his pockets..God..he's really smart and always increasing my heartbeat..she chuckled slightly, walking gently, hugged him tightly behind him. "Hello...Prince charm.." she whispered in his ear. |

She wrapped her arm around Hugo's waist when he kissed her cheek, giving him a one armed hug. Yes. This could all work. They could all be friends again. Emiliano smiled at Amanda and practically ran to connect the bass to an electric plug. Instantly, he took the instrument and started to play something random along with his hum. The song, as he remembered from her grandmother's old CD's, was Decode by Paramore. Quote:

After dragging Ludo down from the Astronomy Tower after the distastrous encounter with Professor Forrester, Elizabeth had stopped in the corridor as she tried to figure out where they could go without being interrupted. And then it occurred to her where they could go. Dragging Ludo over to the correct tapestry, she left him there as she paced backl and forth three times, thinking about what they needed. And as the door finally appeared, a faint smile appeared on her face as she went back to take Ludo's arm to lead him inside. Of course they could talk in the room of requirement. And they shouldn't be interrupted either, not considering she had made that part of her request. |

Rogue smiled, she knew the song. Her hair went blond with blue highlights as she checked her guitar. She watched as Amanda fiwed her make-up. "Do you really have to fix your make-up to sing a song?" she asked. |
"I don't have to, but I do have to look good all the time since I am the lead singer and I do have my own career" Amanda said rolling her eyes and putting her compact away. "Alright on 3 we start, 1, 2, 3.." She said and put her hands on the microphone stand, getting ready to sing. |
Rogue grinned and got ready to play her guitar. She looked to the others, waiting for them to get ready as well. |

They stopped outside the Room of Requirement and he watched her pace back and forth, making the door appear. Again, she dragged him inside, unsure of where the conversation would begin. "I......I'm...." he stuttered. "A complete idiot and have no idea what to say..." he thought as a follow-up. |

She let go of his arms as she reached one hand up to his face. Boosting herself onto her toes, she kissed him lightly, then turned away as she started to pace again. For some reason she felt like she needed to move while she tried to explain what had happened up there. "I'm just not used to this," she finally said, trying to help him understand. "I'm used to people just seeing me as someone to be friends with. And since last term, I thought you liked Asteira. So I was a bit confused." She paused in both her speech and her pacing as she stared at the wall for a second. "And then we got interrupted by Professor Forrester, and the whole thing just went down a completely different path. I wasn't scared of you. I was scared of him." And she still ended up losing points. She wasn't exactly sure what to think about any of this. Especially how Professor Forrester seemed to always show up at the strangest times. |
