Room of Requirement
 

You're searching the castle for a mysterious room you have heard of called The Room of Requirement. You have searched every nick and cranny of the castle but still no room. You climb the stairs to the seventh floor and come across a stange tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. You laugh at the silly tapestry until you side almost burst. Then you remember hearing the Room is located opposite such a tapestry. You turn around expecting to see a door, but find a blank wall instead. You start walking back and forth three times concentrating hard on what it is you need. Suddenly a door appears. You open it and discover you have found the Room of Requirement...

Kyle had heard about this room. He wondered if it was really there. Walking to the spot he heard the room was at he thought of something that he might need. I need a place to play my music. He thought three times while walking back and forth four times. INstantly a door appeared and Kyle smiled. It worked! he turned the knob and walked in shutting the door behind him.

the room was a place where different instruments were set up. But they also had muggle items like the latest ipods and MP3 players. Kyle left the muggle stuff alone and went to the piano. Sitting down he touched the keys lightly. A smile stretched across his face. He hadnt played in forever. Not since his father had died. He closed his eyes and began playing one of the melodies his father had taught him. It calmed him and he moved on to more melodies.

*Gabben opened the door and walked in slowly.* "Haven't heard you play in ages."

*He walked over to a near by bench. He rubbed his eyes then the back of his neck.*

Hearing the door open Kyle stopped playing quickly and turned to look at Gabben. He smirked. "Yeah I just felt like I needed to play." he said and turned to get a better look at him. "Alright mate?" he asked He furrowed his eyebrows at him cocking his head alittle.

*Gabben growled and rubbed his eyes again.* "My head is just killing me."

*He sighed then looked over at Kyle.*
"So your girl free now? We need to go find some."

Kyle laughed. "Your head hurts becauseof how big it is." he said laughing. He nodded though when Gabben said they needed to find some girls. "True cause I dont wanna be stuck here with you every night listening to how our head hurts." he said laughing. "Wanna go to like.. the lake or somewhere to find some girls?" he asked trying to get his friends feelings up.

"Maybe... give me a second I'll meet you there." *He put his head in his hands and growled again. Why dose my head hurt some much, and why is it so bloody hot in here. He rubbed his neck again.*

Kyle looked at his friend. He wasnt leaving him when he was like this. He furrowed his eyebrows at him but stayed where he was. "You ok mate?" he asked again. He stayed still and watcd as beads of sweat poured from his best friends neck. He looked aorund the room thinking about some napkins and somethin to drink and instantly it was there. Grabbing it he handed it to hisfriend "Here mate."

*Gabben nodded a thanks and took them. He downed the glass of water in seconds.* "I think I ate to much, yeah thats it."

Kyle looked at him a little worried. "WEll what did you eat?" he asked not sure if that was the reason he had never this happen to someone before because they ate too much

"Ummm... it was more of a... to-go thing." *He rubbed his forehead then the back of his neck.*

kyle looked at him suspiciously. "Mate I dont think it was the food." he said. He looked at him more closely. "Your not telling me something.."

*For one of the first times ever in his life Gabben looked scared.* "I'm not hiding anything. Somethings happening to me, I must have the flu or something."
*He started to feel very sick and he turned pale white. He let out a long sigh and he sat back up. He felt much better now.*

"See, it was nothing. Bad meat or something."

Kyles eyebrows furrowed more and he shook his head. "Dont believe so mate. Something was happenig to you and it wasnt somethig you ate or the flu." he muttered. "You ok to get some girls now?" he asked wanting to put it behind him.

*He stood up and punched his fist.* "Yeah never better." *He started walking to the door when out of no where he fell flat on his face.*
"Ow what in the-" *He sat up and looked his feet. His feet legs started to glow a little bit then all of his body changed into an odd shape.*

Kyle almost screamed out in shock but dove to where Gabben was. He looked at his legs his mouth open wide. "What should I do?" he asked his voice shrill from being scared.

"Stop sounding like a girl and shut up for a sec- ahhh."
*Gabben growled but it didn't sound human anymore. He clawed his hand on the floor but it was no longer a hand it was a paw and claws. A growling voice come out of Gabbens mouth.*

"Stun me! Now!"

Kyle took a step back from Gabben. "Wha----" he couldnt get the restof the words out of his mouth.

Gabben yelled at him to stun him but Kyle shook his head. 'Im not goi to stun you." he said forcely.

*Gabben rolled his eyes and tried to pull his wand out of his pocket but his hands were gone, paws were where they should have been. He bent around and grabbed his wand with his mouth right as red sparks shot into his leg. Gabben fell to the ground passed out, but it wasn't Gabben anymore. A lion lay where Gabben once was. He lay still for a long while then slowly the lion faded back to Gabben.*

Kyle looked in shock as Gabben turned into alion. Then he remembered their conversation from yesterday. He got a little closer and kneeled down. "Hey mate you ok?" he asked when Gabben was back and the lion had vanished

"Ahhh... next time-" *He slowly pushed himself up.*
"-I ask you to stun me. You bloody do it!" *Everything in him hurt, he couldn't hold himself up for long so he leaned on a near by wall. His breathing was hard but started to slow.*
"What-... What happened just now?"

Kyle nodded. "But man.. you know I cant stun you. Your like the one person I cant hurt." he said truthfully. "But man remember when we were talking yesterday? Your cousin thought you had signs of changing?" he said. " Well you just turned into a lion." he said metterof factly. He wasnt scared anymore. Now that he knew what was happening.

"Ahhh I guess so..." *He rubbed his eyes.* "Bloody 'ell that hurt... the most anyone in my family has turned into was a monkey. And that was my great uncle Jim!"
*He put his head in his hands and growled.*
"Now I owe Gabbie my last bag of crisps!"

Kyle laughed. "Bloody hell mate you scared me something good." he said and put out a hand to help Gabben up. "Next time Ill know when to hide behind the couch." he said laughn and smirked. "Feeling any better?"

"Much better..." *He took his hand and pulled himself up then raised an eye brow at him laughing a little.* "Did I scare you?"
*He started walking to the door.*
"I better go find Gabbie... I hate it when she's right. You want to meet up at the lake in an hour?"
