A carnie? Ummm... well... how could he deny it when it clearly made her soooo happy?? He just very well couldn't. He justified it by... it wasn't a COMPLETE lie. He and his mum DID work at carnivals, especially when Quidditch season was off. Hm. Maybe he was a carnie. Plymouth talked himself into, helped by the giddy little hugs and 'hehe' CellBell had given him. He reached up to cup the back of her head when she nuzzled his chest."This summer, during the break, I'll take you to one. And we won't tell your brother."

Plymouth Morgan was in waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay deep. Destructive, psycho, older Toussaint hating carnies didn't register. Only Cela. Yeeeeek.

He took her hand back up again, already forgetting totally why they were going to the library in the first place. "We'll have to take Copernicus, too. I bet he's never been."

"Really?" Celandine asked, wide-eyed, "You promise? We had a special little carnival especially for us in muggle studies last term, it was kind of cool but I'd love to see what a carnival is like for real!" And from the point of view of a carnie! "We will be friends forever right? And we can go to lots of carnivals together?" Cela happily let Plymouth have her hand, "With Copernicus." Cela added, wondering if Cope would like the carnival environment.

"Absolutely, cross my heart and hope to ear hair again" Plymouth nodded fervently with a little cross across his heart. And then he considered her "friends forever" question. "Well. Forever is a long time. As long as it gets, you know," Plymouth said, walking slowly, content to just swing her hand down the hall, "but... I hope we're friends forever. I know you're probably tired of hearing it - but I SURE do like you, Celandine Toussaint. Best girl I know, in fact. You want to make a secret handshake? You know, to seal the friends-forever deal?"

"Oh I like hearing it." Celandine told him seriously, "Don't you like hearing it? I like you Plymouth." She told him, smiling brightly and pumping their hands in the air in celebration of their mutual like.

"A secret handshake?" Cela repeated, somewhat awed, "I've never had one of those before!" Pausing as they reached the library she giggled happily, trying to do so quietly, you know; to show respect to the books.

Lasca walked down the corridor wearily. Her wand held loosely in one hand and her book bag slung over her shoulder. This assignment was making her jumpy. That and she remembered the last time she had been walking down this corridor. Three people had attacked her at once.

Then she shivered. She hadn't wanted to go into the library following what happened, but she saw no other way. She needed more information so that she could do her homework assignment adequately. Sighing, she quickened her pace.

Alessia jumped out from behind a column and sent a bat bogey hex to the Romanov girl with a high pitched squeal worthy of the Wicked Witch of the West, she'd read about in her muggle books.

Lasca gave a squeal for fright as someone jumped out from behind a column. The young Ravenclaw dropped to the ground with a hard thud. She watched as the spell sped toward and with her scattered wits barely protected herself in time. "Protego!" She shouted in her thick accent. At that moment all she was concentrating on was her protection. The spell rebounded (Thankfully) and she glanced up to view her attacker. It was Professor Lupa!

Clutching her wand tightly she wobbled to a standing postition. She gave the professor a sketchy curtsy and a small smile. "Professor. How are you doing today?" Her smile faltered. "You are not going to attack me again? Are you?" She adjusted her grip on her wand and stood warily. How thankful she would be when this whole asssignment was over.

"I'm good... you did great! I'm off to ambush other students, Buhbye!" She said skipping along down the corridor.

Cayden was walking down the hallway as he looked down at a book he had just borrowed from the library. he was wearing his normal hogwarts attire, but he was wearing a yellow scarf that he had traded a friend of his. Since it wasnt a class he was supporting his Black fedora and he really wouldnt leave the common room without it. He flipped through a page as he walked down the hallway.

Kayla was making her way down the corridor heading back to the common room, her thoughts preoccupied from her conversation with Amanda and she really hoped the girl would be able to carry out what Kayla had asked of her. She checked her watch and realised that it was starting to get late and she needed to get some homework done before she went to bed. So she took off at a run but didn't get very far, not looking where she was going Kayla ran head long into someone and bounced off them and hit the floor.

Cayden was so focused on his book he hadnt seen anyone coming towards him otherwise he would of moved out of the way of the idiot who was running down the hallways. He felt something bounce off of him as his book fell onto the floor. he bent down to retrieve it as he looked to see who it was." You really should- " what did you know. It was kayla. he gave her a smile as he was at even more ease then before." Should really watch where your stomping godzilla." he teased her as he then stood to his feet. He helped her to her feet as he asked," why are you running around?" He was smiling at her as he seemed perfectly happy.

Sprawled out on the floor was never a good look for anyone and Kayla was no exception. She rubbed her behind and looked up at the person who she had run into and she had to smile as soon she seen who it was. "Hey watch who you're calling Godzilla" she said as he pulled her to her feet. "That really hurt my bum you know" she giggled as she gave it another rub. "Would you believe I am anxious to do my homework?"

"I was just saying you were stomping all around. On a rampage. How else would you explain our collision?" he teased her as he grinned. it was always fun to tease her, not to mention it all came to easy." I'm sorry. Maybe you should watch where your walking into running into people. Be thankful im not a statue. i did that once. It wasnt very pretty." He told her as he made a scrunchy face. He chuckled as he heard her excuse as he added," I think you'd be making up a story. What happened?" he asked as he didnt believe the homework was her real excuse." I'll walk you there. Just to make sure you dont run into other things. How was your day?"

"Because I wasn't looking where I was going and neither were you for that matter" she shot back, giving him a grin. "No I've managed to evade the statues" she said laughing at the face he pulled. Kayla looked at Cayden for a moment trying decide on what to tell him. "My day was okay I suppose. Are you and Mari still together? Cause I never see you two together anymore."

" I wasnt running either. I was walking." He pointed out to her as she talked about maneuvering around rock solid objects. He watched her for a second as she was quite for some reason. He tilted his head a little as he was about to ask her what was wrong when she asked him a weird question. he let out a small chuckle as it was an odd question to ask." Yeah...At least as far as i know? Why do you know something i dont?" He was sorta being sarcastic with his last comment. He was sure he would know before kayla though. Right?

"Yeah with your head in a book" Kayla chuckled. Oh crap!! He was giving her that look, the one that said I want to know what's going on your head right now. She looked away for a moment and took a deep breath when he said that he was still with Mari. That stupid little...had still not told him. Kayla turned back to Cayden and gave him a small smile, "Maybe you should go and see Mari and talk to her Cayden. I think - I..."she trailed off unable to think of anything else to say. She put her hand on his arm and gave it a squeeze, "What to have a snowball fight?"

" I like books." he told her as he looked at her a little strangely. Not once had she changed the subject like this. Not in the whole time he had been friends with her." Alright. After you tell me whats going on." he said seriously."If you know something Miss Winters I would like to know it. Especially since it sounds like it evolves me." he stared at her as he was waiting for her to explain to him what was going on with her comment. especially with that diverted comment of a snowball fight."You can tell me." he assured her.

Okay yes she had threatened Mari, that she would tell Cayden about what she had seen and heard but she hadn't really been serious. It had been an empty threat so that Mari, would hightail it straight to Cayden and tell him. Kayla sighed deeply and closed her eyes briefly, she didn't want to be the one to tell him and she shouldn't have to be the one to tell him. Opening her eyes again, Kayla looked back at Cayden and she wouldn't lie to him either. "I ran into Mari before and she - she was with Robert and they were holding hands and they said they loved each other. And oh Cayden, I am so sorry she was supposed to come and tell you straight away. I know I told her that I would come and tell you but I really didn't want to, it should have been her" she looked at him, wishing that she could just disappear right now.

Cayden was smiling until he heard what was going on. He stood there a little confused as he started to process everything she had told him. His hand moved to the back of his head as he always did when he was nervious about something. He let out a few small chuckles as he was still unsure about all of this. Kayla wouldnt be one to just lie to him just because she wanted to destroy something. Okay maybe she possibly could if she was really upset, but not to him. He wasnt quite sure how he felt at the moment. He was basically a blender at the moment, mixed from confusion, disbelief all the way to anger. He was sure she could tell it as well." Obviously she was too busy to make any time to do so." he said in a sad tone, but trying to keep it light for kayla." At least you told me. Im not quite sure when or if she would of." he paused for a second as he then added," i think the snowball fight is a good idea..." Yes. Yes it was. He looked at her as she wasnt in the best attire for going out into the snow." here." he told her as he was shaking just a little as he was a little peeved at the moment. he was sure when he saw her it would be worse." Take it so you'll be warm." he said smoothly as he was going to at least sound cool.

Kayla stood twisting her hands together in front of her, nervously watching Cayden's reaction and so many emotions crossed his face and she cursed Mariska, for doing this to him. Personally she didn't care what Robert did to her, Kayla was going to slap the girl in the face for this. Nevermind the fact that she had told Mari she understood, looking at Cayden right now just brought the anger all back again. "Obviously" she echoed with a sneer and then quickly softened her expression and she gave him hug, "yeah still it should have been her and not me but at least I am here for you" she pulled back and looked at him. "Are you sure you want to go for a snowball fight? You don't want to find Mari and confront her about this?" she held out her hand and took the scarf from him.

He smiled at her as he noticed she was sounding and looking about the same way that he was. Obviously. Kayla moved closer to him as she gave him a hug, something he hadnt expected for her to do. He returned her hug as he agreed with her. She could of at least told him what was going on instead of making him look like a fool. Everything he had thought of her was being twisted and turned around." Thanks. I appreciate it." he told her with sincerity as he gave her a reassuring smile. He wouldnt of cared so much if it wasnt robert. The guy had just rubbed him the wrong way several times. He was going to keep it together for Kayla though."Confront her? As far as im concerned we dont have anything to talk about. She can stay where ever she is and not ever come near me. I'll be fine with it. Its obvious she doesnt have anything to say either. A snowball fight sounds like fun. As long as you know your going to loose. Even with your yellow scarf." he moved to wink at her as he gave her a smile. "I could use some fun." He moved to put his Fedora on her head as he always did, trying to make it more routine so she wouldnt worry.

She could tell that Cayden was upset and that he was trying to keep it together in front of her and really didn't need to. If he wanted to rant or just break down she would never feel less of him for it. Kayla would always be here for him, his friendship meant the world to her. He was always there for her no matter what mood she was in. "I have a feeling she is going to try and find you Cayden, if she is any sort of girl with morals she will" she added in a growl. And when she does and she finds out that Kayla had beaten her to the punch...well all hell was going to break loose. Kayla, gave him a smile, "A snowball fight it is then" she grinned up at him as he placed his hat on her head again. "Before we head outside though I want to stop off and get your Christmas present, sorry a little late I know."

Cayden smiled a little as she told him that she would come find him. Though he wasnt sure what the point would be."Alright." She knew the female species better then he did. he grinned as he was starting to forget everything as she talked about snow fights and presents." That's a few of my favorite things." he nodded at her as he then added," I'll get yours too. We can open it outside. My isnt very great, so im apologizing now. I wastn quite sure what to get you. Come on." he told her as he headed towards their common rooms for the presents

Reese walked down to corridor,running her finger across the stone wall.Her breathing had deepened,because she was trying so hard not to start crying.Breath in...breath out...It just recently dawned on her that it was just a few more months until graduation day.That day she has been dreading since this term started.Graduation day will be the day that will tear her and Cale apart.

Reese stopped walking and leaned against the wall.Now,her eyes were all watery.She didn't want "the evil day" to come.It was sneaking up on her.Time needs to sloooooow down.She wiped one of her tears away and sniffled.She couldn't believe she was crying.She made a promise to herself that she was going to be a big girl and not cry....she lied.

Reese slid down the wall until she came in contact with the ground.She dragged her legs up close to her chest and laid her head down on her knees.She started to cry.Tears streamed down her face and the dripped onto the ground when they reached her chin.

Emiliano was just coming from the Library looking at a few book titles for the homework waiting for him at the study tables upstairs in the common room. Gulp! Was all he could think about.

Just then, he heard someone gasping for air, it was a bit unusual. As he approached, Reese, his sweet friend was crying. That sure made Emiliano's heart crush into pieces, he just hated to see Reese like that.

One, two, three steps to get more close to her. Then, he took one of Reese's hands and showed a support smile for the girl. "Hey..." He said as he bent down to be face to face. He took out a handkerchief from one of his pockets and handed it to Reese. "...may I know the reason of those tears?" He told her.
