For your journal assignment you will be required to post your character’s interaction with your baby creature a minimum of 10 times throughout the term. You can RP feeding, cleaning, training, nursing or just plain speaking to and petting it. In order to receive full credit, you will need to turn in the following: * Journal entries tracking the progress of your creature. (Min of 10) * Links of your character RPing with your creature in the Nursery. (Min of 10) Be sure to follow all homework guidelines. Include your Character Name, User Name, House, and User ID. Morgan I have been getting several questions regarding this assignment so I have decided to post a FAQ section here for your convenience. To help save time, please read them through before sending PMs. I will be updating this section periodically, as questions pop up. Thank you. FAQs Q. Are their people caring for the creatures when we're not there? A. Professor Morgan is watching over your creatures at all times. She feeds them regularly and makes sure that they are being taken care of. Q. There doesn't seem to be much info on my creature, do we just say 'baby creature food' or can we use specific foods, like chicken and rice? A. This I am leaving up to you. Take this project in whatever direction you’d like. Just keep it realistic. Q. Can I make up the description (coloring) of my creature? A. Absolutely. Have fun with it. Once again, let’s keep it realistic. Q. Are our RP characters allowed to bring the creatures outside of the nursery? Ex.) Say if they wanted to show another friend in the castle somewhere. A. No the magical creatures are NOT allowed out of the Nursery. Also, I would prefer if your charrie's friends did not come to see your creature either. This assignment is supposed to be about one-on-one time with your baby in order to properly document its growth and progress in your journal. Q. How much 'chatting' is allowed in the nursery? A. I would be happy if the chatting could be kept very minimal. The focus here being on your creature once again. There are many other places available for your charries to chat so let's try hard to keep the Nursery a 'No chat zone'. CoMC Lesson 2 Homework: Through the Eyes of a Magical Creature Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a phoenix or a unicorn? For homework, put yourself into the shoes of a magical creature, and answer each question accordingly. Use the first person in your descriptions, as though you are talking as the creature in question. Choose any magical creature you'd like. 1. What do you look like? 2. What are your strengths and weaknesses? 3. What is your natural habitat? 4. What do you wish you could do, that you currently cannot? 5. What do you prefer to eat? Bonus Draw me a picture.
