The Alley

Behind the shops is a dingy alleyway where deliveries are made and whatnot. This is not a spot students frequent.

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 12:28 AM

Voldemortist had been living it up in Vegas for the past few years but, he still had his spies out en masse in Britian and other countries abroad. He recalled the last time he'd been back in this alley and smiled as he remembered his last encounter with Angelica Lainey in Vegas. Perhaps he'd be able to mix a bit of business with pleasure while he was in town.

TheGirlWhoLived_818 10-11-2008 12:36 AM

Edward wondered through the Ally. He saw a strange man and stared, "Hello?"

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 12:43 AM

"Hello," he smiled at the child and leaned against the wall. Did he have any idea just who he was hello-ing? Well, he'd better watch his step because, though Voldemortist wanted to maintain a low profile, he was not adverse to leaving behind a few less students should they get in his way. It wouldn't be the first time he'd had to... dispatch... them.

TheGirlWhoLived_818 10-11-2008 12:45 AM

"I believe I know who you are", Edward said.

Edward hade pale cold skin and Topaz eyes. His hair was golden bronze.

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 12:46 AM

He shrugged. "I don't care who you are," he replied, his fingertips caressing the handle of his wand.

TheGirlWhoLived_818 10-11-2008 12:48 AM

"Voldemortist", Edward said in his calm velvet voice. Edwards eyes were black as night now.

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 12:51 AM

Those black eyes would be empty soon enough. He drew his wand quickly and cast the cruciatus on the boy. Just a quick one, enough to teach the boy a lesson he'd forget just as soon as this encounter was over with and the memory charm kicked in.

TheGirlWhoLived_818 10-11-2008 12:54 AM

Edward felt the curse but not for long. He pushed it back, I want to make an offer"

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 12:57 AM

ooc: I believe that since this forum is located within the school rpg forum that we aren't allowed to play our Ministry characters here.

Also, Voldemortist has authorization from Cassirin to kill characters if it is in character for him to do so. Please be sure you RP realistically for the level and ability of your student character (for example: it would be highly unlikely for a 4th year student to be able to cast an unforgiveable). If you are killed by Voldemortist, you will be placed in the Dead Student usergroup for the rest of the term and will have to create a new character next term, at which time you will be placed back into your original house.

I just wanted to give you guys fair warning.

Voldemortist had only put a BRIEF spell on the child so, though the boy may have believed he pushed back the curse (ooc: something canon has never said could occur) he had not. "What kind of a deal?" he asked, preparing his memory charm.

TheGirlWhoLived_818 10-11-2008 01:02 AM

"I dont want you to harm my Ella. She is a second year hufflepuff.", Edward said, "I will trade you anything for her safety"

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 01:05 AM

He blinked and stared. Then, blinked and stared some more. What in Merlin's great and dirty underpants was this kid going on about?

Well, since he didn't care about the girl one way or another, he'd actually keep this promise. "Alright, I need you to deliver a letter to Angelica Lainey," he said and then dug around for some parchment and a quill.

TheGirlWhoLived_818 10-11-2008 01:15 AM

"Thank you", Edwrad said. "I will do anything you please"

AS long as his Ella was safe...

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 01:18 AM

"Wonderful," he said and pushed back off the wall, parchment and quill in hand. "Bend over," he added, gesturing to the boy so that he could use his back as a desk to pen his note.

TheGirlWhoLived_818 10-11-2008 01:19 AM

Edward did as Voldemortist said. Edward would do anything to keep Ella safe.

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 01:27 AM

He scribbled out a quick note in handwriting that wasn't quite his own due to the uneven and not so hard desk. He even ended up cursing as he ended up putting a hole in the parchment at the end of his signature. "Here, take this to her right away."

TheGirlWhoLived_818 10-11-2008 01:30 AM

Edward lifted up and took the note, "Yes Sir"

Edward didn't dare look at the note as he hurried off.

Antwone Thomas 10-11-2008 01:48 AM

Antwone opened the back door of the Three Broomsticks to investigate the smell that had stenched his nose. He looked around to find no one, half expecting to find a sack of fish heads or dragon dung. A little further down the alleyway was a dark cloaked figure but the boy was sure the figure wasn't the source of the smell. He grinned to himself, shaking his head back and forth and turned back into the Three Broomsticks.

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 01:48 AM

He waited for the kid to make tracks before moving further down the alley, toward the end closest to the Hog's Head. What were students doing back here now? Voldemortist kicked at some trash, frightening a couple rats who were eating garbage and then settled in to wait and see if Lainey would show.

Mad Eye Touz 10-11-2008 01:56 AM

Lainey ran. She ran from her office, down the stairs, off the castle grounds and all the way to Hogsmeade. She was so winded she could hardly catch her breath when she arrived. The letter was clutched in her hand when she came around the corner and into the dark alley she'd once met Thomas in.

Lainey waved the letter at him, clearly furious, as she started towards him. Her look clearly said, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 01:58 AM

He grinned broadly when he saw her and held his hands out to show he was unarmed. "I couldn't stay away. Not after I'd heard the news." He didn't saw what news it was but, she could guess.

Mad Eye Touz 10-11-2008 02:04 AM

Lainey wadded up his letter and shoved it down her blouse with the other note. "You... are...," Lainey was so out of shape. She needed to take up jogging. She took another minute to catch her breath and put her arms over her head.

Finally, she caught her breath. "Don't play with me. Why are you here? Just go ahead and name what you want so I can go get it and you can go terrorize some place else."

Lainey felt bad almost immediately for her harshness. He deserved it.. but.... She tried to give him a softer look.

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 02:07 AM

He laughed at her. Lainey was always good for a laugh. From the way she gestured erratically with her hands to her distinct and communicative facial expressions... Let's face it, she was adorable. "This can't be a social call? I was in the area and wanted to speak with you."

Mad Eye Touz 10-11-2008 02:12 AM

Lainey scoffed at him, a loud, sort of snorting and unattractive noise. "Oh sure. By all means, Thomas. Let's go sit in the tea room and catch up." Lainey stepped back to gesture back towards the main street. Again, she was being mean and torn about it. "You want something. Admit it."

Thomas Duskurk 10-11-2008 02:14 AM

"Perhaps, but you aren't the way to get to it this time," he said and considered following her but, instead he grabbed her arm and pulled her off toward the Hog's Head. "You wanted tea?"
