Suddenly through the open window, a beautiful blinding white owl soared into the room and landed next to Rachel's bed. It fluffed its feathers protectively, as if to say, "You'd better make her well again, or else! I'm going to stay here until she's better."
It stared with his almost human-like eyes around the room, waiting for the Nurse to come and tend to his owner and best friend. It glared at all who tried to get near Rachel who weren't the Nurse, including the young Ravenclaw girl (Livvy) who brought her in. He would have bitten her then and there, but that would have meant leaving Rachel's side, something he wouldn't ever do.

Livvy sighed as the owl glared at her once again as she tried to get close to Rachel. Oh well, she thought. She glanced towards the lady and wondered when the nurse would be arriving.

By this time Ari had stopped the blood and finished cleaning it. "There not even a scar or a bump anymore. If you get a headache or feel nauseus in any way though, come let me know." Ari gave the girl a smile and moved over to the next patient.

Ariana didn't care what the owl thought, no dirty owl was going to be sitting in her hospital. "Out!" She shoo'd at it. "I cannot help this little girl with you right here. She can see you when I'm through." Ariana felt a little weird talking to the owl but her look plainly said to leave.

Sky fluffed his feathers, obviously offended. Opening his wings, he flew to the window and perched himself on the sill. He would not leave until Rachel was better, but he knew that the rude woman would help her get better so he settled for a compromise.

Livvy breathed a sigh of relief when the nurse came in. She stepped aside and stood there awkwardly with her hands crossed and she couldn't help but glance towards the window at the owl every now and then. Boy, she hoped Rachel would make it.

Nathaniel limped into the room looking for the nurse to talk to since the healer didn't do a very good job a few days ago.

Erica felt better as the nurse stopped the bleeding and cleaned off the blood. Sitting herslef up gently she smiled at the nurse saying "Thank you. I feel better now. If i get more headaches or feel nauses then i'll come back." Erica put her feet on the floor and slowly stood up. Not feeling any dizziness she slowly made her way out of the hospital ward and back to the Gryffindor dorms to get some well needed rest.

Ari gave a small headbow to the owl in acceptance of the comprimise. She would allow him to stay perched there for now. A simple spell quickly managed to stop the bleeding. Ari slowly unwrapped the wounds and threw them away before vanishing them. She then took a warm rag and began to dab at the blood to clear it away. "What happened?" She asked the friend that had accompanied the patient.

"Just have a seat on the bed right there and I'll be right with you." Ari gave the boy a smile and returned her attention to the girl.

Rachel groaned. Pain... She saw bright lights and heard far off voices.
"W...wh...where am I?" she asked groggily, her voice low and raspy. "Ow," she added, and shut her eyes again to return to the welcoming darkness.

"You're in the hospital ward and I'm taking care of you." Now that the girl was more conscience, Ari grabbed a couple of pain relief potion bottles. "Open your eyes slowly to adjust then drink these. It'll help with the pain." Ari continued to dab at the blood and rinse the rag. "What happened?"

Rachel slowly opened her eyes, one bit at a time until she could make out fuzzy figures other than the blinding light. She sipped the potion slowly, not having enough energy to make a face at the awful taste.
After a while, she felt good enough to talk. "I ran into the dormitory and into the corner of the bed," she said weakly, lifting her hand slowly to indicate the stomach wound.
"And it was very painful, so I screamed and walked quickly backwards and into the wall, hitting my head," she continued, and waved vaguely with her hand at her head.
"But there is something you should know. That particular spot in my head is very weak, since I've already fractured it four times before," she added. She would have continued, but that was all she had strength for right now. She slowly lowered her hand and focused on her breathing; in, out, in, out. It was painful, but it was becoming easier and slowly things came into focus.

Livvy glanced to see a boy limping towards a bed. She offered a small smile and then turned her attention back to the nurse. For some reason... she was stumped. She couldn't really remember what had happened... though it sure went by quickly. Livvy opened her mouth to talk but then Rachel seemed to be regaining energy. She peered over the nurse's shoulder but made sure to stay out of the way. "Will she be okay?" Livvy asked the nurse.

Rachel's pale face was regaining colour by the second, and she felt a lot better due to the potion. He lips twitched when she heard her est friend's voice. "Hey Livs, how're you doing?" she asked with a hoarse voice.

Livvy smiled and breathed a sigh of relief. "Man.. you scared me Rachel. Don't ever do that again! In fact... from now on... walk very slowly," she said with a small grin. She had been real shaken up with this entire situation and had feared that something would happen to Rachel.

Rachel managed a small grin and said, "Whatever you say, Livs. But you and I both know that I'll probably return here very shortly."
She closed her eyes, resting them for a bit. Things were becoming a little too bright again.

Livvy smiled and nodded her head. "Get some rest Rachel. I gotta go, but I'll come visit in a few hours," she said, softly and squeezed Rachel's hand. Then Livvy let go and left the Hospital Ward with one last quick glance at the owl.

Rachel was sad to see Livvy go, but didn't protest. After all, she was just so tired!

Ari continued to work and finally got all the blood cleaned up as the other girls tallked. She opened some cream and rubbed it into the first scratch so that it wouldn't leave a scar. When it came to the wound on her head, Ari uncapped a small bottle and dropped a few drops along the injury. Rachel would be fine in no time.

Nathaniel sat on the bed and waited his turn. He smiled at the nice girl. She was already nicer than that other girl.

Rachel gasped a little as the nurse applied some sort of cream to her stomach, and clenched her teeth together as she poured some liquid on her head.
"What are you putting on my head?" she asked through stiff teeth. She needed something to distract her from the pain.

Cassie stood outside the hospital wing door slightly off balance, holding her head. She got so dizzy in Potions that she blacked out for a few seconds and had fallen off her seat. The professor asked for someone to come up to the hospital wing with her but no one volunteerd so Cassie had to go up by herself wobbling about.
She closed her eyes and tried to get into focus, she lifted her hand slowly and knocked the door slowly.

"The same thing that I put on your stomach only in liquid form and it will not mess up your hair. It will absorb into the skin and seek out the wound and heal it solely." Ari informed her with a grin. "Give it a couple minutes to settle in and do its job and then you'll be free to go." Ari nodded to the girl and patted her shoulder. "If you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask me."

Ari left the young girls bed and headed over to the young boys. "And you sir? How may I help you?"

"Yes Ma'am, the healer in the waiting room "healed" my leg after it broke when I fell into the Lake a few days ago and it's still hurting. Very,very badly." he said rubbing his right leg. "And my chest has been hurting a lot also."

Ari nodded and looked at the leg. "Well she healed the break quite well actually, but if you're still feeling pain I can give you some potions for that that will help." She headed to a cabinet and pulled out a couple potions. One medium strength and one extra strength. "What did you do to your chest?" She questioned putting a hand on it to check breathing.

He smiled at her. "You're way nicer than that healer. And I don't know what's wrong with my chest. I started hurting after I left the hospital wing after my leg was mended." he said to her with a smile. Hospitals weren't new to him. He'd been in a lot of them in his lifetime
