Anna beamed in pride as the professor gave her three points for volunteering to cast Tergeo on the wet students. Okay, so she'd chosen Newell, too, but at least the points went to Gryffindor. "Thanks, Professor!" Anna called out. "This has been a really rewarding class! I can't wait for the next one!" Anna shot her a warm smile, grateful to have had a few moments of happiness before she went back to her crazy, mixed up life.

"Tergeo!" she suddenly called out, seeing a few soaking wet students approach the door.

Cale chuckled and shook his head. Typical Evolette. Raising his wand, he muttered "Tergeo," and her sleeve was back to normal. "There you go, all better," he said with a grin.

Evolette smiled as Cale used the charm to dry her sleeve. So what if she had actually taken the balloon herself and popped it right over her? At least it had given her an excuse to come up to him.

"Thank you sweetie." she said, batting her eyelashes, making sure to lay it on thick enough for Anna to notice, before giving him a small wave and exiting the classroom.

"Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was tempted to end the class with a water balloon fight, but I didn't want to tempt fate. The class was being almost too, good. I knew if I did that it would get completely out of control." Callie laughed. "Perhaps another class." Callie winked.

Callie's eyes narrowed in on the Slytherin girl as she dropped a balloon on another student. "Those points I gave you Asteira, they're an honor for volunteering. Don't make me take those points away from you."

Then as Callie watched the volunteers drying students off, she suddenly realized she had done it again! She had picked both Gryffindor prefects to help out. They were the first two to volunteer, and yet Callie couldn't help but wonder, did she do it subconsciously? Was it because she sensed there was something wrong between the two of them that she picked them to try to get them to spend time together? Or was it just coincidence?"

Callie was deep in her own thoughts for a moment, when of all people, Anna called out to her.

"Well thank you for volunteering Miss Greingoth." Callie tried to smile. "Oh Anna," Callie said, deciding now was as good a time as ever to corner her. "When you get a moment later, if I could please see you in my office."

"sorry professor. He wanted to play a levitating game earlier. i was just testing his skills. Just trying to improve his charms. Imagine how impress we would of been if he would of stopped it in time by using the levitating charm. I would of been impressed." she added.

"Thanks," Usagi said while packing her things up. "It means "silver rabbit" in Japanese." Stealing a glance over at Cale and Anna drying students off, she sincerely hope that somehow, the work of drying off students will solve their problems. From the Prefects's attitude, she could clearly see that they still keep their feelings. Anyways, couples bicker everyday and they still ended up dating! (Not that she have dated anyone.)

"You're very welcome," Anna replied, a little surprised to hear the professor address her as Miss Greingoth. It sort of made her feel...proud in a way. She really respected Professor Hawkins, and it was nice to feel like she had that respect from her in return. "Erm, ma'am? In your...office?" Anna asked. Oh, noes! So she was in trouble for letting that balloon drop on Cale's head! She hung her head down and looked down at the ground and then added a murmured, "Yes, ma'am..."

Mari cast the targeo spell on her own two feet, but decided anyways to go change socks before the next lesson. She had done good in the class even if there had not been many incidents. She just wished her hand had been fast enough. Earning housepoints was very very important right now. Hufflepuff was in a real problem. She place her bag on a shoulder and headed to the door thinking on dry socks.

"Umm, Asteira?, Can I go with you as partners?", she asked the Slytherin girl shyly; but keeping straight eye contact at the same time.

"Play a levitating game? Save it for after class! I would think you would know better. I'm disappointed." Callie said shaking her head. "You're lucky I didn't catch you guys playing that game during class or the lot of you would be staying behind cleaning this classroom until the floors sparkled. Imagine how impressive that would be."

Callie heard the hesitation in Anna's voice. She wanted to let her know it would be alright, she was just concerned about her, but others didn't need to know that. Callie's voice remained neutral as she replied, "Yes my office, unless that's a problem for you?"

Rapunzel was still giggling at Tino's...er...wetness when Willow had to speak again.

Oh Merlin, when will she get OVER herself?! Punz thought, rolling her eyes at the girl. She'd opened her mouth to make a clever retort when the Professor suddenly awarded Rapunzel five points.....for accidentally soaking that Ravenclaw?

"Whooohoooo, this class ROCKS!" Punzie couldn't resist cheering as Professor Hawkins announced the end of the lesson. "Thanks for a great lesson, Professor!" she added, packing up her bag and waving bye to the teacher.

"See ya in the common room, Ella!" she called to her friend, winking at the girl as she slung her bag over her shoulder. "And uh, sorry about the...wet shirt," Punz muttered to the Ravenclaw, her green eyes twinkling. "Curt over there's excellent at Tergeo though, I'm sure he'll dry oyu off." She grinned and then headed out the door, actually eager to start the homework for once.

She looked at the professor as she said she was disappointed. You could see a dark blue color forming around her iris after she heard she was disappointed."Sorry professor." she said as she let out a small sigh. " at least they would look good." she added in a small voice. Great. first class and she already disappointed her. it wasnt like they were actually playing it.

she snapped out of her thoughts as a ravenclaw girl came to her. "er...partners? where are we going? Class is over. I'm just here to dry people off who are wet." she told her as she wondered if the girl had been asleep during the class." You need to be dried off?" she asked as she would be more than glad to help her out.

"Oh, uh...yeah"she said, she had been splatterd with water; without her even realizing."I just...got really confused", she said, hoping that she wouldn't go and tell the professor what had just happened.

Watching Anna, Nicholai wasn't paying the slightest bit of attention so when Asteria dropped a balloon on him he blinked as the cold water hit his face. Even if she hadn't have used tergeo immediately he'd not have been damaged too much after casting the impervius on his hair and clothes.

"Thanks a bunch." Nico commented, actually amused- even more so when she didn't lose points for it.

The other students were taken care of, but the classroom had puddles everywhere so Nico busied himself with using Tergeo to siphon the water from the wooden desks. No unsightful watermarks here. Once he'd spent a fair while doing so, Nicholai turned to the professor.

"I just wanted to thank you for your class. After last term..." he trailed off and shrugged, "I'm Nicholai by the way."

"Its alright." she told the girl as she dried her off." Just dont get confused and be late for class. You'll get points taken away." she offered the girl some friendly advice."You'll all dry." she told her as she gave her a smile. seeing as most of the kids were dry already their wasnt much for her to do. she twisted her hair and used her wand to hold it together. She grabbed her things as she figured ludo would follow when he was ready. " Bye professor. Great lesson." she added as water balloons proved to be great fun. she headed out the door and to the corridor.

Callie noticed a young Ravenclaw who appeared to be a first year looking lost and confused.

"Well I did just dismiss class, but that doesn't mean you have to rush out the door. I'd be glad to help you practice the charm with you if you need a little help."

Callie laughed, "I'm glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for the amusement. It was perfect timing. I have to say I got a good chuckle out of that." Callie winked.

Callie could see the disappointment forming in Asteira's face. "It's all good. Nothing happened, but you have to remember there's a time and place for games and inside a classroom is neither the time nor place for the games. However . . . if you want to play games, might I suggest you check the notice board. Your homework assignment might give you some inspiration to get a good game of hot potato going in the common room, just don't use water balloons." Callie grinned.

"Thank me? For what?" Callie asked, "I'm just doing my job, making learning fun, yet relevant for you guys," she said as she heard the boy introduce himself, "Well it's very nice to meet you Nicholai. Did you at least enjoy class today?" Callie asked the Slytherin boy. "And after last term? I'm sorry, I'm a little lost, what happened after last term? Did you have a bad experience in charms at Cooper's?"

"That would be really great, er, professer"

"Well," might as well be honest, "It isn't exactly my best subject and the fact that you did make it fun and relevant was appreciated." And entertaining to watch; though Nicholai did wonder how Kitten was holding up after that little demonstration at the beginning of the class. Nico paused and peeked over at Anna out of the corner of his eye as he spoke to the Professor.

"Charms at Coopers wasn't too bad, but I guess that place made me a little wary about what to expect with Professors I haven't met." He regarded her seriously, "So thank you."

Merlin's left pinky finger, that was cold! Raiden jumped a bit as the balloon caught the edge of the table and burst all over him and Lucas; why had Professor Hawkins made the water so cold?! He immediately burst into a fit of giggles... it looked like he and Lucas had wet their pants or something, the way the balloon had exploded... He tried the charm that Celandine's brother had done earlier.

"Tergeo?" he said questioningly, pointing his wand at himself. It didn't do much... and before he'd had his chance to try the charm, class was being dismissed. Oh well, he'd have to try it another time. He grinned at Lucas. "Common Room? We can practice there and not get all wet, maybe..."

"Absolutely, it's my pleasure! Why don't you go take a balloon and practice a bit and I'll be right with you."


"Well for someone who says Charms isn't his best subject, you proved otherwise today. Just look at that charm you cast earlier. I was very impressed. It sounds like what you really need is a good boost of confidence. How can I help?"

Callie listened to Nicholai talk about Coopers, much the same way as she thought about Belle's. "Of course you would feel that way. Who wouldn't after experiencing those Ministry Professors. But rest assured I AM NOT one of those professors. I actually care about my students." Callie said as she gave the boy a warm smile. "I'm just glad I could change your perspective about things, even if it was just a little. For that, you're very welcome."

Nicholai shrugged and his expression darkened a little. "I only got an 'Acceptable' in my OWLs." his tone made it clear that wasn't acceptable at all. "And thank you, but the only charms I have any real knack for are those that are most useful for..." Being a vain git, "...keeping up appearances. I'm alright with the basics." he shrugged, "Any chance for improvement would be appreciated."

Nicholai smiled, it was pretty obvious that she cared about her students.

"It's a good thing it is over." he agreed about the schools. "I should have listened to my sister though; she did rave on about your classes; something about the glisseo charm and her footwear." He shook his head, grinning as he thought of Celandine.

Via soon noticed the class was over before she could answer the question she should have answered a while ago. She packed her things and made her way out of the room. "Thank you Professor," she said.

Lizzie smiled at Nate. "Sorry we didn't have time to be partners, perhaps next time? Well, I should be going, but I'll see you in the common room or at another lesson, right? Hope your leg will be fine soon.. See you around."

She turned towards Shaylee. "Hi Shaylee, I didn't know you were in this class too." She watched her friend try to make the balloon rise, and said. "Oh, I'm sorry it didn't go so good for you, maybe I can help you with it? It took me a while to manage it as well." She noticed most of the class was leaving the room. "Shaylee, I think the lesson's ended, shall we get going?" she said, and added "You make it next time. Otherwise, tell me if you want any help." She picked up her stuff and headed for the door with Shaylee.
