Amira With a C 10-06-2008 12:56 AM

Camira waited until it seemed like everyone was done answering and then raised her hand yet again. "Professor, is it okay if I say one more. If so, what about a Cushioning Charm? It Makes a nice little cushion for you wherever you are." She particularly liked that one.

fredsgirl81293 10-06-2008 12:57 AM

Demetria raised her hand. "Well it would be useful if the object was too heavy to carry right?"

mathi 10-06-2008 12:58 AM

Ella just got back her thoughts, raised her hand, "It gives more space and convenient when we travel especially when the object was heavy or delicate" she said, bitting her lips.

Amira With a C 10-06-2008 12:58 AM

Camira's hand shot up. "It could be useful in a case where someone is injured and unconscious. The person might be too heavy to lift normally, but a levitation charm would help a lot."

Stina Felton 10-06-2008 12:59 AM

Isabella raised her hand into the air. "The levitating charm can help by raising objects too heavy to normally be lifted by one person." she answered with some confidence.

Waddles 10-06-2008 12:59 AM

Jean Raoul raised his hand. "If you happen to be a short person, and need to put an object on a shelf that's too high for you to reach, a levitation charm would be helpful in getting said object on the shelf. Especially if you don't have a ladder on hand," he said.

Liisa 10-06-2008 12:59 AM

Astrid raised her hand and said, "The greatest use of this charm for me, is helping when I can't lift something on my own. Being so small, I have this problem all the time. Especially with my trunk. It would be impossible to get in on the train without it."

PadfootAndTheWolf 10-06-2008 12:59 AM

Chris raised his hand. "we could use this charm as a life saving acton or for something as usless as getting you cup off the table."

Seeker_Seven 10-06-2008 12:59 AM

Tino started, realizing there was a bit of drool in the corner of his mouth. Drat! How long had he been gone? Well, not 'gone' in the physical sense, but more of a mental absence. One that involved a jungle safari with a rabid rhino and a very large gun. It appeared that class was underway. At least, that was usually what teachers talking and students raising their hands meant. Maybe he should pretend to be more of a student. It wouldn't be good for his new social life to flunk out. He had to fit the standard of Ravenclaw.

Tino raised his hand. "Ummm," he said. "You can float an object up where you can't reach, like putting a book back on the shelf."

There. A perfectly good Claw answer.

Lissy Longbottom 10-06-2008 01:00 AM

Cale raised his hand, "Well if something is blocking your way, like...a huge rock or something, you could just levitate it out of the way, if there was room for you to move it around," he explained.

BeccaBear 10-06-2008 01:00 AM

Allie raised her hand.
"Maybe to lift objects that are too big or heavy for us to lift on our own?" said Allie. With her being so small for her age, she has had that problem many times.

Anna Banana 10-06-2008 01:00 AM

Anna raised her hand. "A levitation object can be used to help a person carry large amounts of objects at once, even a person, although, there's another charm altogether for that. It can be useful in removing obstructions in times of danger or when a person is in a hurry," she said.

-------------

I'm really impressed with all your answers! One point to everyone else who shared their answers! I'm glad see so many of you guys have been reviewing your textbooks! That should prove very useful to todays lesson.

"Speaking of today's lesson," Callie smirked "Today we'll be learning the levitation charm. Now some of you have already told us that levitation is one of our basic spells that lifts an object into the air, and they would be correct, of course. But who can tell me why this charm might be very useful to us?"

Dominic didn't not take well to the professor's sarcasm, but shrugged it off for now. He earned points! Yay! Whatever the heck that would mean?

Ah well, new question... something about levitation charms. Why would they be useful? And sudden remembrance of an event not too long ago struck his imagination.

"To reshelf books in an easier fashion than picking them up and hurting our wrists?" He offered quietly.

MunchyBubbles 10-06-2008 01:00 AM

Piper kept her head buried deep in her notes, she knew an answer, but she didn't want to speak up.

squidnie 10-06-2008 01:00 AM

Rian was about to answer with a charm but the teacher started talking about the lesson. Rian quickly lowered her raised hand and blushed. Instead she thought about the answer to the teacher's next question. She quickly reraised her hand and said, "Well, a levitating charm would be useful if something was to big or heavy to lift manually, right?" she asked, not quite sure of her answer. It seemed logical though.

Tommehbell 10-06-2008 01:01 AM

"It can be helpful when you have little arms and can't carry heavy things of when your arms aren't big enough you can use it to carry a lot of things. Or if you are short and can't reach something you can levitate yourself so you can reach it." Lucas told the professor with a raised hand.

Daffy.Potter 10-06-2008 01:01 AM

Livvy thought for a while. She raised her hand and answered, "A levitation charm may prove useful if you wanted to carry an object, but didn't want to do it yourself. Or just to carry heavy objects such as a rock or a person."

Livvy then looked down at her notes and wrote down quickly other answers.

Suziella 10-06-2008 01:02 AM

Maddox shurged, he was very strong he didnt often need the levitation charm but he replied anyways, "Well if you need to, at the time of a duel, it could help you levitate something and drop it over your opponents head....or hit them with it."

Luna Laufghudd 10-06-2008 01:02 AM

Miranda raised her hand shyly ''um...the levitating charm is useful if we want to get something thats to far away or to high up...maybe?''

Daemon 10-06-2008 01:03 AM

"You could use it to move large, heavy or dangerous objects and place them somewhere else," Rachel replied, trying to keep up with all the note taking.

Wayfarer 10-06-2008 01:03 AM

"The charm allows you to "levitate" several objects at once." Remy answered

hpfan4eva 10-06-2008 01:03 AM

Katelyn drung some courage from deep down, and raised her hand.
"If somethings falling on someone or thing, and its falling really quickly, can't we just say the charm, and it will stop in midair and raise up? That could work, right? It would save the poor person, right?" she said in her high voice. She turned a brilliant pink. She was so shy...well, hmph, at first. And in class.

FoxFire 10-06-2008 01:06 AM

Gwen raised her hand. "I think it's useful because of its flexibility. It's the sort of basic charm that isn't difficult to cast, and can be used in so many different situations."

Akari-Sakura 10-06-2008 01:06 AM

MJ smiled. "It's useful for people with bad backs, who get spasms." she grinned knowing from experienced. "When ever there is an object too heavy for us to get we can use the levitation spell to make it move, so we won't strain the back," she blushed a little. "Or for a clumsy girl like myself, it can also be used to levitate one self's back to their wheel chair because it will lift an object and levitate it in the direction of choice" she said remembering when her brother had forbade her from walking around when she had been sick with a high fever. She had tried to reach for her blanket. "Lifts an object, levitates an object and float it in the direction of choice."

Crystal Ball 10-06-2008 01:12 AM

Mari had been about to answer when almost every person in the room did the same, and all had the same answers as she did. She simply wrote down the notes on her parchment, her quill scratching quietly as she did. She was glad that she had gotten points back; It would be mortifying for her to lose them in her favorite class.

Prongs999 10-06-2008 01:16 AM

Jack raised his hand. "Its useful if you have a physical problem, or moving things out of reach" he said.

Callie stifled a laugh as she watched the Ravenclaw boy come back to life after daydreaming and drooling at his desk. "Welcome back. I'm glad you joined us. Unfortunately a classmate already shared this answer with us. Two points from Ravenclaw for daydreaming. Maybe that will keep you awake."

"Yes, that's right, you can use levitation to simply carry things along if you'd like, as well. That's a point for you!"

-----------------

"Great examples from everyone! As you all pointed out, levitation makes life much easier for us in many different ways."

"Today we will use this spell to simply practice lifting objects" Callie smirked at the class. "To use this charm to move things around takes a lot of practice and concentration. I hope by the end of the class you'll be able to master that, but for now, let's focus on making an object float, shall we."

"Now, I put a great deal of thought into how I was going to go about teaching you this charm. Back in my day at Hogwarts, a Professor might use a feather, or cotton ball, or something very simple to begin teaching this charm with, and I could have done the same. Then my better judgement got to me." Callie grinned, as she took her wand, waved it, and watched in delight as the black sheet lifted up revealing a stack of water balloons underneath it.

Tommehbell 10-06-2008 01:18 AM

Lucas' eyes got wide at the site of the water balloons. He started bouncing in his seat at the thought a poorly worded charm.

fredsgirl81293 10-06-2008 01:18 AM

"Haha yes!!!" Demetria thought. She pulled out her wnad so fast and so ready to raise those balloons.

BeccaBear 10-06-2008 01:19 AM

Water Baloons!!
"This is going to be a fun class." Allie thought.

Stina Felton 10-06-2008 01:19 AM

Isabella saw the water balloons and the devious looks that seemed to cross the faces of every boy in the room. She had a feeling that perhaps she should have brought a rain coat or an umbrella.

Daffy.Potter 10-06-2008 01:19 AM

Livvy looked at Professor Hawkins with a confused look. What did she mean? But Livvy immediately understood when the black sheet was lifted. Livvy's eyes widened at the sight of water balloons. Oh... Professor Hawkins. This would definitely be interesting.

Prongs999 10-06-2008 01:20 AM

Jack's eyes widened. WATER BALLOONS! He might of fainted right there. Oh...this was going to be fun.

Ameh 10-06-2008 01:20 AM

Raiden giggled. Water balloons! This would be loads of fun!

"We're using water balloons?" he asked quietly, a wide smile on his face. "This might get very... very messy, Professor Hawkins."

He bounced a bit with excitement.

Anna Banana 10-06-2008 01:20 AM

Anna sat back and crossed her arms over her chest. Ha, she may not be the greatest student this term, what with all the relationship stress she was under, but water balloons and Cale Newell in the same room? Merlin BLESS Professor Hawkins!!!

Suziella 10-06-2008 01:20 AM

When the professor took the sheet off of the objects all he could do was laugh. "Water Ballons eh? This will be fun." He gave a mischevious grin.

Crystal Ball 10-06-2008 01:20 AM

Mariska watched Professor Hawkins closely as she explained their task in class for the day, her eyes moving to the black cloth as she flipped it away. Water balloons? Mari arched a brow. This could get interesting, she thought as she smiled.

stan lanevski 10-06-2008 01:21 AM

Chris saw the water balloons. He grinned. This should be a good class. he thought.

PhoenixRising 10-06-2008 01:22 AM

Dominic listened to the professor drawl on about how they would be mastering levitation charms today. Something simple would of course be fine with him. And then she removed the black sheet to reveal... water balloons! For some reason, the fourth year got the idea that this would not be a clean lesson at all as he slunk down in his chair.

BanaBatGirl 10-06-2008 01:22 AM

Water balloons?! Sweeeet! Punz grinned when the professor made the big reveal. There was a lot of prank potential there...heheh...

squidnie 10-06-2008 01:23 AM

Rian grinned at the water balloons. She started twisting her wand around in her right hand. This'll be fun, she thought happily, watching other students' expressions brighten.

She smiled when she heard that today they would be working with water balloons. This was going to be really fun... She turned to Mads and winked at him mischievously. She was going to drop one over his head...

Luna Laufghudd 10-06-2008 01:23 AM

Miranda grinned at the sight of the water baloons ''awsome!'' she said looking around the class at everyone's bright faces. The grin however slowly faded as she thought of what would happen if she didnt get the charm correctly ''oh dear'' she mumbled ''i dont want to get wet!"

Seeker_Seven 10-06-2008 01:23 AM

Tino frowned and shrank down in his seat. What?! The other kid had said something about lifting himself up to put stuff away on high shelves. . . hadn't he? Tino couldn't remember. He had been in Africa at the time.

Blowing out his cheeks, the floppy black-haired boy gazed at the waterballoons miserably. This was not going to end well.

Akari-Sakura 10-06-2008 01:23 AM

MJ smiled at the sight of the water balloons, a huge smile spread on her lips and she knew this was going to be a fun class. Now she knew that she wouldn't sleep if one of them fell on her head. She would be wide awake tonight. She knew Misty her mischievous panda would have loved to sneak into the room and had some fun with them. Oh no, Misty is going to be so mad at me for not bringing her to the class... she thought

shortfry 10-06-2008 01:24 AM

Callie grinned, as she anticipated this reaction.

"That's right, why use simple feathers, when you could use water balloons instead?" Calle laughed.

"Actually my true intention is a bit more mischievious than that. You see, after last term I learned that some of you have a great deal of difficulty paying attention during class. That's understandable, Charms isn't everyone's favorite subject.

"Unfortunately though, as I said earlier, this spell takes a great deal of concentration. Fooling around or slacking off isn't going to cut it here. That's why I brought in the balloons."

"Anyone can begin to lift up feathers and oops . . . if you drop, no big deal, you'll just haphazardly try again. Well that's not good enough here. If you levitate these water balloons and drop them on yourselves, or more importantly . . . you classmates, that nice, icy cold water inside will be a good reminder of why it's so important to concentrate in my class."

"Any questions so far?"

Ama 10-06-2008 01:25 AM

If witches could cast spells through the eyes the water balloons would have popped as soon as Daphne's hazel eyes landed on them. Holding back a grimace, she satisfied herself with merely wrinkling her nose at them.

The last thing she needed was to stand around a bunch of animals whisking water balloons at high speed from one side to the other of the classroom. Scratching her cheek, Miss Hopton started contemplating the ways she could go without having to participate.

Even extra homework was better than joining in. She didn't want to play with other little boys and girls and get wet. She didn't have to. Davis did that sort of stuff.

Hopton simply reminded herself that it was just best not to mess up the Charm. It's not like it was so difficult, now was it?

Daemon 10-06-2008 01:26 AM

Rachel decided right away that she liked this professor very very much! She grinned at her and listened for instructions. She couldn't wait!

MunchyBubbles 10-06-2008 01:26 AM

Pipers eyes went wide as she looked at the water balloons. Oh my goodness this teacher was the best! She looked excited and she couldn't wait to start trying out the spells..

fredsgirl81293 10-06-2008 01:26 AM

Questions??!! "Come on!" she thought. "Lets get to lifting!" a huge smile creeped across her face

Anna Banana 10-06-2008 01:27 AM

Anna shot an evil look over in Cale's direction. Maybe he'd get the hint loud and clear. Before this class was over, Cale Newell would be drenched in water. Oh, wait. Had his sideburns grown an inch in the three days they hadn't spoken? Hmm... Oops. Oh, yeah. Charms class. Right. She turned her head back in the direction it was supposed to be in and simply smiled at the professor.

Stina Felton 10-06-2008 01:28 AM

Isabella gulped and was suddenly quite unsure of her skill level. She had a very bad feeling that she would need to know the drying charm much more than the levitating one by the time this lesson was over.

BeccaBear 10-06-2008 01:28 AM

Allie smiled, ready to get started...this will be a fun class.

Luna Laufghudd 10-06-2008 01:28 AM

Miranda listened as the professor spoke i think i like the feathers more...
''well im glad she didnt take eggs instead..."

Daffy.Potter 10-06-2008 01:28 AM

Livvy had to smile. Professor Hawkwins was wickedly smart and sneaky. Yes she was. But Livvy liked her. She grinned mischievously as she wated for the professor to continue on with what she had to say.

Akari-Sakura 10-06-2008 01:29 AM

MJ smiled faded. There was no way she would get wet unless she did it on purpose. When it came to charms she concentrated hard, no matter how simple they were. It was one of the many attributes she had received from her father. When it had to do with her education, and her learning she was deadly serious. She sighed.

Lissy Longbottom 10-06-2008 01:30 AM

Cale's mouth fell open in horror. Water balloons? No, this was not gonna be good at all. He could already tell that those water balloons would be drenching his curly head soon. Glaring over at Anna, who looked like Christmas had come early, he smirked right back at her. She wouldn't do it...it would be too obvious and look horrible for her as a prefect. She didn't have the nerve!

squidnie 10-06-2008 01:30 AM

Rian's eyes widened. She hadn't thought of that.
She looked down at her nice and smooth Ravenclaw robes, and her eyes got even bigger (if possible) at the thought of them getting wet. Well, I'll just have to concitrate. she told herself determinedly.

Waddles 10-06-2008 01:32 AM

Jean Raoul groaned inwardly and slumped back in his seat. Levitating water balloons, great. He may have been well-practiced at the art of levitation charms, but he was surrounded by imbeciles younger students, many of whom had likely never heard of levitation charms before. And he did not like getting wet. At all.

But, it obviously couldn't be avoided. He glowered at the other students, as if daring someone to drop a water balloon on his head.

shortfry 10-06-2008 01:32 AM

"Alright, I know you're excited. Settle down, settle down, we're getting to the good part I promise. Now, since there were no questions, before we can bein, we need to practice the incantation to this charm, "Win - Gar - Dium Levi - O - Sa" Callie said slowly, pronounced it so that everyone could clearly understand it.

"Who could tell me what might happen if we pronounce this incorrectly?"

OOC: Use your imagination. :P

BanaBatGirl 10-06-2008 01:32 AM

Bah, concentration was never a problem for Rapunzel. Er, not in Charms or Flying, that was. She looooved Charms class.

And she loooooooved water balloons. And levitating.

"If we misprounce the spell," Punz answered, raising her hand just a bit, "maybe we'll levitate ourselves instead of the object we're supposed to be working with...?" Just a guess.

PhoenixRising 10-06-2008 01:33 AM

Dominic listened as the Professor explained what was going to happen and why she chose water balloons. To be honest, he didn't want to participate; not with what he'd seen of these students at Diagon Alley, the train, and even at the feast. It wasn't right.

The only question he had for the Professor was pertaining to the requirement of partaking in the lesson. He'd much rather the feathers; at least they didn't make him wet. Sighing, he looked around at the bubbly kids until he found one girl (Daphne) whom also seemed uninterested in the water balloons. Perhaps I'll just work with her or alone, would be best.

*JoshMoonson* 10-06-2008 01:33 AM

Asteira grinned as she couldnt help but let out a little laugh. Ha. who wouldnt love this class. Water balloons! oh she could so pretend to be bad at this spell and accidentally drop it on her classmates. Though it would be rather bad to make enemies via water balloons. She wondered if it would break into a water balloon eventually. As she heard the professor ask if anyone had any question. Really the only question any one was thinking was who were they going to get wet first. Hope no one had a white shirt on.

Lizasaurus 10-06-2008 01:33 AM

Liz raises her hand "Things might fly at somebody instead of up into the air."

Ameh 10-06-2008 01:33 AM

Raiden raised his hand as a sudden thought occurred to him.

"Uhm... Professor... We're not gonna lose points if we drop them, are we?" He bit his lip. "Cos... I've never really gotten to try this charm before, I dunno if I can quite do it right..."

Stina Felton 10-06-2008 01:34 AM

Isabella raised her hand. "Well in this case we'll get drenched with freezing cold water."

BeccaBear 10-06-2008 01:35 AM

Allie raised her hand.
"Well, for one the spell wouldn't work." she siad, pointing out the obvious. "Or it could make the water balloon explode and soak us."

Waddles 10-06-2008 01:35 AM

Jean Raoul raised his hand. "Well, the targeted object, in this case the water balloon, could explode and send water everywhere. Or the water could evaporate, if the mispronunciation produces heat," he stated blandly. Continuing slightly sarcastically, he added, "Or, if we're really lucky, the water balloon could melt, leaving us with hot water mixed with hot, melted... whatever water balloons are made of." Oh, the joys of mispronouncing charms. You just never knew what you would end up with.

Anna Banana 10-06-2008 01:36 AM

Anna raised her hand. "Any number of things could happen. For one, you could chance reciting the wrong spell and cause something totally different to happen. I read where there is a similar incantation that causes an object to blow up. We wouldn't want that, now would we?" Anna asked, glaring in Cale's direction again.

OOC: Use your imagination. :P

"You could end up with wings in your bum," Dominic suggested quietly, not at all excited about the prospect of getting wet.

Piper raised her hand and she smiled, "Well, whatever we are trying to levitate might blow up?" She asked. She had seen it done before in her old school

Crystal Ball 10-06-2008 01:37 AM

Mari raised her hand as Professor Hawkins asked the class what might happen if the spell were said incorrectly. " Professor, I think the object being Charmed might just wobble around for a bit in the air before falling, yes?" She said, and then she wondered how many of these first years might get the spell wrong. Oh my. She might end up drenched. Well, not if she could help it.

Mari glanced over randomly at Anna and saw the other girl was smiling quite evilly, and she had to wonder why. Then she realized Cale was in the class too...Poor Cale, she thought with the smallest of smiles.

Lissy Longbottom 10-06-2008 01:37 AM

Cale raised his hand. What would go wrong? Hmm, lots of things, especially in this situation. "Well, maybe whatever you're levitating will explode? Like, in this case...water will go everywhere and it can get messy," he said, unable to hide his grin.

Luna Laufghudd 10-06-2008 01:37 AM

''um if we misspell it we might grow wings?''
hmmm that wouldnt be too bad she thought

Awww..! The spell was for beginners. She remained calm and let the first years to answer as she carrasing her wand, which was so suitable for Transfiguration.

Seeker_Seven 10-06-2008 01:39 AM

Tino raised his hand. "Instead of floating up, if you say it wrong it will just wobble there and stare back at you with its beady little eyes." Mocking you. Daring you to try again, knowing that you'll fail. How sad.

Tino never had liked ballons of any kind. They had eyes.

Maddox said, "No ma'am." And smiled.

She pouted when he winked at her. He wasn't going to let her. She looked at him sweetly, silently pleading for him to let her.

Though she turned her attention back to the professor. She raised her hand and said, "instead of just floating in the air, the objects would turn into elephants. She grinned, knowing that Ella would have liked that answer.

Rian thought about the answer for a bit. After raising her hand, she said, "The spell could backfire." she answered as confidently as she could.

Daffy.Potter 10-06-2008 01:40 AM

Livvy raised her hand. "Well, the charm obviously wouldn't work. There's millions of results that could happen though. The water balloon wouldn't levitate... it explodes... the water evaporates, or something else that could effect us or the balloon." She bit her lip as she thought. Yippee. Better do things right then.

But when she heard Lima's answer, she was so struggling to control her laugh. Turned an object to elephant in air?!!! My goodness. Ella turned and stuck out her tongue at Lima.

Isabella smiled confidently. "It shouldn't be too hard. It seems like a fairly simple charm. But I suppose we'll find out soon enough." She just hoped it really was so simple. She did not want to be drenched in icy cold water.

Crossing her arms would be unlady like so Daphne held her hands over her lap, an irritated sigh escaping her lips. Some of the answers the students were giving made her want to laugh and cry all at once.

"Latex," she murmured, not sure if anyone would hear, finishing the Ravenclaw's sarcasm riddled speech about the consequences of a spell gone bad. The whole beady eyes comment threw her off and a small hand flew to the back of her neck as she nearly doubled over in pain from too much idiocy.

Was that a Ravenclaw badge on his robe? He needed to be de-housed! Merlin! Taking a deep breath, Daphne's eyes once more fell to the exit. This would be a nice time to come from the manor and save me, Davis. You good-for-nothing-driver-butler-nanny person.

"I--Am I still in Hogwarts?" She whispered to herself, furiously scribbling notes in her parchment.

Noticing the look on Ella's face after she answered the question, Lima giggled. She put her hand over her mouth to silence it. She winked at Ella in returned. Then smiling, she turned her attention back to the class.

"Oh dear, I hope that won't happen!" Callie laughed. "I'd be really impressed if it did, that would be one very powerful casting you'd do to lift yourself up. Good guess though. Take a point"

Callie was tempted to levitate a ballon and use this girl as a demonstration, seeing as she wasn't paying attention. She held back then and cleared her throat. "Ahem! Care to share your thoughts with the rest of the class? Five points from Hufflepuff, I need you paying close attention to this lesson please."

"Yes, you're right, if you pronounce the incantation wrong you might just explode the balloons and soak us all, I don't think your classmates would enjoy that. They might enjoy that Gryffindor just got another point though.

Continuing slightly sarcastically, he added, "Or, if we're really lucky, the water balloon could melt, leaving us with hot water mixed with hot, melted... whatever water balloons are made of." Oh, the joys of mispronouncing charms. You just never knew what you would end up with.

"I doubt that your spell would be powerful enough to change the temperature of the water, but that's a good thought all the same. A point to you."

"You're absolutely right Anna," She said as she noticed Anna glancing in Cale's direction. "In fact why don't you and hmmm . . . . let's see . . . Ahh, Cale! Yes, you can Cale come on up here please. I'll have the two of you demonstrate for the class how this is done."

Hearing the answers people were giving, Nico sighed and busied himself with ensuring the Impervius charm he customarily had on his clothing and hair was in place. Once he was satisfied that he would be well protected from any mishaps with water, Nico focussed his attention on the Professor with an expression of resignation clear on his face.

Lissy Longbottom 10-06-2008 01:53 AM

WHAT?

Go up to the front? With Anna? NOOOOOO! This wasn't going to end up good at all...he could just see the gears working in her head right now. Had the professor picked them out on purpose, just to humiliate them? He always had the small feeling that the professors knew about their relationship--perhaps they knew about the breakup too?

Gripping his wand and shooting a death glare at Anna, he walked confidently up to the front of the class. If Anna planned on embarrassing him, he was soooo not gonna go down without a fight. And in style, too.

Crystal Ball 10-06-2008 01:53 AM

Mariska bit down a grin and laugh as Professor Hawkins asked Anna and Cale up to the front of the class. She leaned forward just a bit in anticipation, as she was sure someone would end up very wet and disgruntled soon.

Anna rasied her eyebrows and smirked at the professor when she was told she was right. "Erm, Cale and I?" Anna asked, her face showing fear for only one split second before she realized the endless possibilities that could result just by being called to the front of the classroom with him. Showtime, Newell.

"Why, thank you, Professor," Anna said in her oh-so-smart tone. "I'd be glad to." She made her way to the front of the room and stood directly by that glorious selection of water balloons. She turned and smirked in Cale's direction. Did he realize what she was thinking? Of course he did. Would he do the same thing? Of course!

What in Merlin's beard? How could she accuse him of purposely doing that? Though it was tempting now do that to her, but something told him that it wouldn't go over well with the professor, nor the headmistress for that matter. Not like he cared.

Eying the exit briefly, he turned back towards the front of the class and shook his head. "No, but either way it was still possibility for a spell mispronounced, right?" he asked, wondering why the professor didn't see it as just that. She wanted original answers, but apparently not THAT original...

BeccaBear 10-06-2008 01:57 AM

Allie had to stifle a giggle when she saw how happy Anna looked, when she was walking up to the class. She knew it, this was going to be a very interesting class.

Isabella had always been taught not to talk back or correct her elders. However in this case she felt as though she had to. "Um, excuse me professor. I'm in Slytherin House not Ravenclaw." she said quietly, feeling slightly ashamed of herself for correcting her professor and on the first day of class no less.

FoxFire 10-06-2008 01:57 AM

Gwen's eyes widened behind her glasses. Cale and Anna. With wands and water balloons. Not good.

Ameh 10-06-2008 01:58 AM

Raiden sighed in relief... at least his incompetence with this charm wouldn't be something his housemates could get mad at him for, for now...

Uhoh.

Anna... and Cale? Demonstrating? Even little Raiden could foresee the coming disaster. Those two shouldn't even have been in the same class, the way they were acting toward each other.

He vaguely wondered if he should move to the back of the class, to avoid what would surely be a very epic water balloon battle...

Asteira smiled as anna was called to the front. "Go anna." she said from her seat. Hey why not support your friend. Ha this boy was going to learn a new meaning of water balloons.
