Oya looked at the school for one final time. It really looked like the real thing! Good thing she took her coloring pencils. She turned to the professor and said
"I'm finished professor!"

Daphne peeked at the girl who had spoken to her from a distance. Did she have allergies? Something got in her eyes or was she....she definitely was crying.

"Oh...oh dear," hurriedly mumbled the chubby girl, stumbling to her feet from the oddly shaped rock she had chosen to sit upon not because it looked the most comfortable but simply because it was the cleanest. "No need to cry. I'm sure everything will be okay."

Eventually.

And hopefully not many more students started crying.

Juniper scratched her nose with a quill. Plants she could draw. Animals, too. But a building? Even if that building was Hogwarts, Juniper was afraid of how badly a drawing would turn out. Still, she would try. Even if it did turn out horribly, at least she could try.

She scrunched up her eyes and wrinkled her nose as she put quill to parchment. A straight line there, a curved line there... shading, and explanations. And lastly... a title. "Hogwarts."



Juniper sucked on the end of her quill as she eyed the drawing. It wasn't the best, obviously, but it would do. She hoped. "Professor, is this good enough?" she asked quietly after she removed the quill from her mouth. Oh, the habits Juniper employed when she was nervous.

At last! Her first sight of the real Hogwarts! For a few minutes, Nathalie just sat and stared at it. Then she suddenly remembered that as a going-away present, one of her sisters, Laurelle, had given her a set of magic water colour pencils.

She pulled them out of her schoolbag, found her parchment, and began to sketch. She'd always rather enjoyed drawing, and the magic pencils were amazing. Everywhere she shaded, the pencil blurred and flowed, until it looked as if she'd been using real watercolours.

"Professor - I've finished," she said, holding up her picture

Ellie smiled when she heard Evangeline's words, but she didn't say anything.
After a while the brunette girl moved her eyes to Evangeline. "Tcharam!" she grinned. "So, what do you think?"


It was not as good as she wanted.. and it wasn't completely done yet but at least it was something.

Oya just sat around bored to death. Finally a thought came to her mind. She took her headphones out from her bag. Luckily she had them charmed so they worked in a magical area. She put them in her ears and chilled

After a moment, Issy realized someone was speaking to her. Withdrawing her head from the gate, she sniffled, wiping her eyes again, and looked over at the girl. The one with horrible art skills.

"Will it?" she asked, a rare moment of pessimism. "In the end, is everything really going to work out? We should be there," she said firmly, pointing at the castle. "Not Belle's. I shouldn't have to be seperated from some of my best friends and learning to be a little lady, even if it's fun sometimes. There's no reason we should have such ugly, uncomfortable Common Rooms when ours homes - our homes away from home - are in there."

Deep down, Issy was aware she was being melodramatic, but these tears were long since due.

Humming a tune from an old Disney film she had watched an enormous number of times, Melina kept moving her head from the paper to the castle. Up and down, down and up. However, it seemed that she could not draw exactly what she saw for there were far too many thoughts in her mind, so many, in fact, that she barely noticed that there were gigantic tentacles on the lake's surface. Though she did manage to draw them somehow.

Fighting the urge to rock herself as if she were a baby, Melly raised her head once she believed there was nothing else she could draw in her condition and looked at the Professor. "I'm done, Ma'am," She said as clearly as her hoarse voice allowed her.

Naomi looked at the hogwarts building that was behind the gates. I dont think i could draw that. She thought to herself. She sat quietly and waited to her the next instructions.

"Hey, Niomi!" said Allie.

Ari finished her drawing, her chin wobbling slightly as she thought of all the good times. Biting her lip, she finished it and looked at it, frowning largely. After writing on the parchment a bit and shaking her head to clear the unwanted tears, the sixth year looked up and turned her parchment over blushing a bit. "Here professor." she stated, looking over at the school.

Next, with the picture out of the way she leaned back on her heels, still standing straight and staring off into the distance where she could see a small speck of her ak tree.

Evangeline remained silent, enjoying the view of Hogwarts as Ellie finished her drawing. It was probably best not to interrupt her really, and Evangeline didn't want to go back to Belle's drenched in ink after all!

But then, from the corner of her eye Evangeline saw Ellie move slightly and, with a grin, looked over at her drawing. WHOA! "Wow, Ellie...it looks brilliant!" It really, really did. It beat hers by miles. "I didn't know you could draw like this! I love it." She said, honesty ringing in every word.

Hermy's eyes shone as she glanced up at Hogwarts. Getting points for doing her favorite past time? Awesome! She took the pencil from behind her ear (it was permanently placed there in case she ever got inspired) and roughly began to sketch in some shapes. It didn't look like anything much at the moment, but it soon would do. Hermy believed deeply in working with layers, and getting the perspective just right before moving on.

Satisfied with the initial sketch, Hermy dug around in her bag. She always carried her paints and sketchpad, and today was was no exception. Grinning at Lainey for her awesome idea, Hermy cast an aquamenti into a small water jar and choose a large brush for a background stone colour. She began to lay it on to the page with large strokes, completely oblivious to any activity around her. Hermy was totally in her element, only concentrating on Hogwarts and her page.

"Hey Allie!" Naomi said to her friend. "Isn't it beautiful?" She said pointing to hogwarts.

Daphne fought the urge to lean back from the dramatic girl. These were the kind of females her mom had warned her about. 'They run on gossip, hormones and fashion. You'll do well to stay clear of them.'

"Well," stalled the first year. "The way I see it, life goes on and on like a circle," continued the blond waving her index finger in circular motion, remembering what her father once told her. "Even if it seems like life has veered off course, it'll eventually come back to where it once was."

She coughed, afraid she had become a bit of a know-it-all.

"Or so I've been told."

"Yea, it is. I was just thinking what it woul dbe like if we were there,a nd not at Belles..."

*Despite the fact that Sheeta had been quiet the entire lesson inside Belle's school, the moment she saw where the class was going she hadn't been able to keep her happiness inside. She squealed with delight and began drawing her picture of the place she so desperately wanted to go to.*

"I think it would be so much better." Naomi said. "We would have a nice table, more area, and........ BOYS!"

Allie laughed. "Yes, seing boys other than on the Hogsmeade weekends would be nice, but I would settle for a nicer table at least." she said. " Have you finished your drawing yet?"

Oh no.. complements.
The brunette girl tried her best not to blush, and since she didn't feel her cheeks going pink,or red, she supposed her effort not to blush worked.
Brilliant was a little exaggerated.. no?
"Thank you very much Apple." she said with an honest smiled and then answered to the girls question. "Well, I used to draw a lot.. and practice.. but for some reason I just stopped." Ellie shrugged, she couldn't remembered very well the reason why she stopped to stop making drawings.

*Sheeta overheard two other girls her age talking about how nice it would be to have boys around.*

"Boys!" Sheeta rolled her eyes and thought to herself, "What's so great about them? They're nothing but annoying, rotten brats... the lot of 'em!"

The tiny girl sniffled again and slumped to the ground, not caring that she'd just sat down in a pile of dirt that would be soiling her skirt. Circles, yes, yes. She, too, had heard such an analagy. But that didn't make the now any better. Sure, maybe she'd see the boys again and be back at her home and be happy, but that could be forever away!

"But when is eventually?" she challenged in a mumble. It was silly of her to admit, but she desperately missed Samson and nearly as much she missed Gavin. At least she'd seen Gavin in Hogsmeade. But Samson...? Her chest tightened and she swallowed thickly.

"I'm doing my best to like this place but it's utterly impossible. And these Ministry Officials are ridiculous - they don't even want us taught properly, can't you see? Waiting for eventually could take forever..."

And Issy didn't have forever!

"Well yeah kind" Naomi showed Allie her scribble.

"That is really good!" said Allie, and she wasn't lying. "I finished mine to, she said showing Niomi hers.

"thats super cool!" Naomi said smiling. "I wonder what we will do next?"
