Shush??!!! Did she tell me to Shush!!!???!!! Cassandra was seething in her seat... seat... PILLOW! Ohhh Rae would hear about this. Disrespecting a prefect in front of the WHOLE class...

She sat and looked at the November sky... Differences... She had a half a mind to show this... poor excuse for a professor differences.

Breathing a slight sigh of relief that Professor West hadn't noticed her nodding off she watched with a glint of wonderment in her green eyes as she closed the cieling, only to open it again to the winter months. There wasn't a lot noticable, though she didn't notice a few tiny details that were diffretn from the last time the cieling was opened. She allowed herself a smile as miss perfect prefect got shushed.

Placing her hands behind her head, Ari continued to watch the stars twinkle above her, finding the quiet relaxing and soothing to her already confused mind. Before she fell asleep again she decided to write a song about the stars in her head, keeping her occupied enough to pay attention.

Elodie was staring up at the sky, remembering the nights she used to spend on the roof of her cottage with Connan staring at skies just like this. He loved astronomy, and would always teach her names of the constellations. She was never able to remember most of them- but for some reason, the star Betelgeuse always stayed with her. She looked for Orion, and then found the red star. She stuck her hand up in the air, and pointed "Is that Betelguese, Professor?"

Jezz looked up and was enjoying the November sky. "Is that Saturn Professor?" She asked, pointing. She wasn't sure if Saturn was visible, but for some reason she thought it was. Maybe she had read it somewhere.

*Sheeta listened as several students started asking about planets and stars and locations and all sorts of things. She giggled very quietly at the two girls because they would almost certainly be told to be quiet. Why hadn't they learned their lesson from the rather angry looking Slytherin girl? SHe had spoken out of turn as well... oh well, it made no difference to Sheeta. She quickly composed herself and continued looking that illusion of the night sky the professor had made. It was definitely a beautiful sight. However, Sheeta was beginning to get bored and started wondering if the professor had fallen asleep or something.*

Allie sat there looking at the November sky.
"Are we going to do something more than look at the sky?" she thought.

Rhiannon kept looking up at the ceiling. She had found it interesting when the professor had told Trel to be quiet, mainly because she figured the Slytherin prefect had been trying to show off. And she couldn't help but enjoy the fact that it hadn't worked.

Since the night sky had been changed to show what would be visible in November, she concentrated on focusing on the stars, and how they looked different.

She want to hex whoever that was that just couldn't keep her mouth shut for one stinking class. If Slytherin lost anymore points for talking she was going to lose it!

Tommy raised an eyebrow at the professor shushing Cassandra, she could felt he rage radiating from her, and she moved her pillow over a little further in case the girl blew up. She inched away a little more just to make sure.

She laid back down on her pillow and tried to pay attention to the sky.

Looking up Liz looks in awe at the stars. After what she had seen last term after her mum had died, she watches the stars a lot more.

Wait, where did Perseus go? And Pegasus, and Pisces. These are different stars, now...

Alycya was seething. She couldn't believe this was all they were doing. She hadn't come out of the hospital wing to lie down and look at the stars. She was so bored. She could do this anytime. She had enjoyed the class so much last year. At least they learnt something. They didn't lie on the ground and watch the sky for ages. She didn't really care that the skt had changed. She knew most of the constellations anyway. Her mother loved looking at the sky, it made her calm. It usually did that to Alycya too but she was really quite annoyed with West. This would not be an enjoyable lesson. She didn't know what these Ministry approved teachers were playing at.

Rachel allowed herself a peek at the other people. She had seen the changes in the sky so often, she knew them by heart. Most girls looked bored, while others like her looked excited. "How awful must it be, to be a teacher?" She thought to herself, "She can probably see clearly that people hate her lesson! The poor professor!"

Daphne lay back, looking up at the sky. She looked around, wondering if students actually knew what was going on. The professor just told her to notice differences. Well, the little stars are in different places, she thought dully. She was certain this wasn't what the professor meant. She continued to look up, waiting for something to happen. She yawned, feeling herself dozing off, the night sky, albeit a conjured one, always made her sleepy.

Shayna stared dully at the sky, shifting her cushion slightly beneath her head. What were they even meant to be doing? She herself couldn't see any differences between this sky and the previous one. Meh, maybe the professor would actually explain what they should have been seeing, since she seemed to be the only one who deemed it useful to be staring up into the heavens when the rest had no idea of what to be looking for.

"Shush, and shush!" Linnea replied in a harsh whisper. Hadn't they heard her take away points and shush the prefect of her cousin's former house? Honestly!

She gave her wand another wave and the sky changed yet again, "We're looking at a typical Spring sky, based in the month of April, ladies. Do pay attention to the sky, and keep your observations to yourselves!"

Ellie was almost dead of boredom.
She was looking at the sky, with her head rested on a comfortable pillow, wishing she could be someplace else.

The slytherin girl closed her eyes for a while, she didn't know if the professor noticed her but she actually did not care.
What did the woman wanted the girls to do?
Stay still looking at the sky without opening their mouths?
That was boring, and not good.
She felt like she was going to fall asleep.

Alycya tried very hard not to groan out loud. She couldn't believe they weren't learning anything. They weren't even allowed to ask questions. Alycya closed her eyes slightly. They were starting to get heavy. She felt her whole body going heavy. She was falling asleep.
She shook her head and gazed up at the roof. She was so bored. She knew the night sky like the back of her hand. Why weren't they learning anything?

Sure Amelia was enjoying the peace and quiet of the Astronomy tower, but while they were supposed to be learning something she didn't feel as though she was. Watch the skies? Yea they looked different. Is that all they were supposed to note?

The only thing that was making it worthwhile to stay awake was for two reasons: 1) she didn't want to lose points for dozing off and 2) hearing the slytherin prefect lose points for showing off was priceless.

So maybe they weren't the best reasons to try and focus on the skies, but she thought she was doing a pretty good job. Just stay quiet... that's all she wants from us... she reminded herself.

Elodie's eyes widened. Whoops This woman was stricter than she looked. Participation didn't seem as important as keeping your mouth shut, so Elle decided to stay completely silent and just try to keep awake.

Daphne opened her eyes when she heard Professor West's voice. She must have dozed off. She was tempted to ask a question, but the instructor's reaction to inquiries seemed to involve the loss of points. She stared up at the sky, trying hard to keep her eyes open for the remainder of the class. She still couldn't identify anything special about the spring sky, she had hoped to hear that from the teacher.

Once again, Rachel found that she knew all the stars' positioning. She sighed. My be they would learn something more the next lesson?

*Sheeta began to rock back and forth, looking at the sky with a look of impatience on her face.*

"When are we gonna learn something?" Sheeta thought to herself, "This is positively boring!"

Destini was laid back, relaxing on her pillow. She was trying very hard to see the differences that the Professor wanted them to see. It was hard to concentrate with her fellow students losing points and being told to "Shush!" as if they were in elementary school.

Destini snapped herself back to the star gazing and noticed the shooting star in the sky. Then the Professor changed the scene again. "Goodness, she is going fast," Destini thought to herself.

She was now staring at the April sky. What differences did the Professor really want them to see?

Finally happy that the students had learned to keep their mouths shut, Linnea changed the sky again to match that of late July, "This is summer time, class. Pay close attention and stay awake. This will be the last scene for tonight."

Amelia couldn't help but grin ever so slightly when Professor West said this would be the last scene for the night. Summer... her favorite time of year, she thought, her eyes now wide open watching the skies. Quite different from laying outside at home in the grass since there was no warm breeze. But she imagined there was, which actually warmed her up a bit as she observed and waited...

"This is the last scene?" Sheeta grumbled in her head, "My legs are getting tired!

*Sheeta shifted on her pillow and tried her best to get comfortable.*
