Jamie flew around looking for Kerry.

Kerry laughed at Cassandra, "But if I warned you, you'd protect the little brat. It deserves to get hit after sticking it's tongue out at me. Wait til I find out which student this is. I'll have a few words for him or her."

Kerry was about to zoom around again when she heard her name being called out. She turned around to see Lyra.

"Lyra! About time we had some reinforcements," Kerry cried out. "So far, I haven't had any luck. These creatures are just too fast or too sneaky," Kerry said as she glared back down at the monkey, casting an evil look on it.

Turning back towards Lyra, Kerry decided to fly in a bit closer to her. As she got within a few feet, Kerry stopped and hovered in mid air. "So, any ideas on how to get these things? It's almost as though we need to be stealth bombers," Kerry said with a smirk as sudden idea popped in her head. "Hey! What if we used a disillusionment charm so we can't be seen as we fly in to get them."

"Thank you Prefect Rose," She said watching the monkey squirm under the liquid.

Her wand was out in an instant. "PROTEGO!" she called and all the balloons bounced back. "He's been doused the required about of times. Leave him be!" Cassandra was going to need to speak to the headmistress about this cruel method! She couldn't petrify it, but hurling a ball of cold fluid at it was ok?!

Jai whimpered and tried to wipe the tears and potion from her face but her hands weren't steady enough. Her nose twitched at the scent, "Help me." she whispered again, sure no one would hear her but it was worth a shot, she was in pain.

Amelia was trying so very hard to breath as the monkey let the potion run over his body. She wasn't expecting this, but was getting kind of emotional over watching the monkey change expressions. He didn't seem happy in the least bit. Withholding the tears, it then suddenly hit her what would happen if she was the third hit.

"Uh Trelawney... was this the third balloon?" she asked hesitantly. "Because you may want to put the creature down or I reckon you'll be holding a student in a few moments."


Hearing laughing behind her, she turned to look at one of her housemates laughing. "Oi. Go hit some animals! This is no laughing matter," she called to the girl.

The monkey curled into a ball. This was it, the one he was trusting to protect him was putting through this crude "game". Climbing down the tree, he went lean against the ground feeling hurt.

"Yes it is," she said trying to hold the poor creature. She knelt down and laid it on the ground. "I'll protect you." She reassured him. "Don't be scared..." She removed her school robe and covered the monkey with it. Either way, this Vincent boy would need something to wear... she just hoped he wasn't... Slughorn sized.

She glared at the girl. Ohhhh, she'd remember that one.

josh looked around as kerry was talking to lyra. He looked closer to see ...was that jai."lyra..." he said to her as he turned to see her and kerry." Hey kerry.. i'll be back." he told her as he then moved to run over towards jai. He dodged a few flying maniacs as he fell to the ground next to her. "Jai!" he said to her as he moved to smile." hey..." he said as he grinned even more." whats the matter..." he asked as he looked down at her." what can i do..?"

Alexis didnt take orders to well "i am throwing balloons" resiting the urge to throw one at her prefect, for now, She flew around for bit, feeling more safe on the broom now and spotted the Eagle she took out a large balloon and threw it.

Jamie flew around the others. She took a balloon and threw it at the monkey.

Jai turned over and opened her eyes. The gleamed bright yellow at Josh and a faint smile appeared on her face. Her nose had yet to change so she could smell him.

She was still in pain. Jai curled once more afraid to straighten out. "Help me." she wispered.

Willow was completely frustrated that none of her ballons had hit the animals! It was annoying. So much for being a beater for the Quidditch team...

However, with the corner of her green eye, The Ravenclaw caught a bird in the grounds. Well, it wasn't really a bird... It was more like a Penguin. Penguins which in her opinion. weren't really birds because they couldn't fly. She snickered.

The Ravenclaw launched one of the ballons quite gently at the animal, considering that she was tired. The Quidditch game had really worn her out.

Hopefully, she would hit it.

"PROTEGO!" She said again, "Let him change in piece! Pick on another a bigger animal!" she scolded the Hufflepuff.

Lyra shrugged as she was a bit surprised at the action of the students towards the animals. She was just about to respond to Josh when Anna walked up.

"Fly?" she asked as Anna handed her a few of the balloons. "But, we don't have brooms." She looked to Josh and handed him a balloon. "I guess we could just use foot combat instead of the flying method." She saved a balloon for Agie as well, then cradled the others in her robes. "Thanks Anna!" she waved as she looked around to see what animals were around.

And then she looked up to see the eagle flying. Finally she didn't have to worry about the ropes she created. There was no need in helping her at this moment though. She needed a broom for that.

Lyra giggled at Kerry. "I'm thinking that might not be a bad idea," she began as she stood for a moment. "Well, I wish I could fly but, we heard the Headmistress' announcement and ran over here." She then heard Josh call her name and turned her head to find him running over to another part.

The baloon who was suppose to hit him was suddenly pushed away but something was going on under that Slytherin robe. What was a tiny monkey was growing at an strange fast rate. It wasn't fully possible what it was but it kept growing more and more.

Juniper spotted Kovac flying away from the crowds of people surrounding the animals. Curious. She followed the second year in confusion for a moment before she saw where the girl was going: there was a penguin that nobody had aimed for yet. Ah, of course. No one had seen the penguin, for some reason.

She waited for Kovac to throw a balloon before flying closer to the flightless bird and gently tossing her own balloon at it. Gently because it was a penguin, and penguins were easy to break, in Juniper's opinion. Not that she knew much about penguins, as they usually lived at the South Pole.

Juniper hesitated as she waited to see if the balloon would hit. Hopefully it would, and that would be one step closer to helping the penguin-student.

Amelia turned her gaze back to the monkey and the prefect. The monkey seemed to have found its way to the ground and was slightly hurt by the actions of the balloons. She landed quickly on the ground, her hand feeling awfully sticky from popping it, but it was so worth it. Even though it would be very smelly for awhile, she half hoped the stickiness would be useful as seeker.

She smiled as Trelawney seemed so caring towards the monkey, which was odd because she had never seen this side to the Slytherin. For a fleeting moment, she forgot that they didn't like each other.



The sixth year rolled her eyes at the retort of her house member. Honestly, some people. If she was throwing balloons, she wouldn't be laughing.

Josh looked down at her to see her with yellow eyes and not completely changed."come on.." he told her as he moved to pick her up in his arms. he had seen those eyes and the nose." So you were the one to stuck your tongue out at me." he chuckled a little." Thanks for the marks." he teased as he told her as he carried her towards lyra with balloons."lyra!" he called after her as he walked to her." You have a balloon right..Help please. I'll hold her and you can give it to her." he said as pleaded with her. He hated to see jai in pain.

Hermy's gaze followed the two younger Ravenclaws' movement away from the main action, and her eyes fell upon the bird she had been looking after. It must have tried to follow her to the match when she left it earlier. Hermy sighed, feeling guilty. Throwing a potion filled balloon at the penguin wouldn't exactly help that guilt either, but it had to be done if she wanted her boyfriend back. At least if she threw one it wouldn't be pelted too hard.

She lowered her altitude, and sat above the penguin, hoping that her flying wouldn't scare it too much. She gently dropped the balloon, hoping that it wouldn't get caught too much by the breeze and would burst on the small bird. She flew a couple of metres away, and hovered, ready to rush in if anything happened.

Lyra watched as Josh carried the student over to where she was. "Yeah, they are right here," she spoke rather quickly as she picked up a balloon and broke it over the student, causing a splash. She started at her head and went down, then grabbed balloon after balloon of potion until the student was covered.

Jai rested her head onto his chest, him moving her caused pain but she knew he was trying to help. She chuckled slightly, but a purr came instead, "Sorry." she simply said.

Jai looked over at Lyra and cringed when she broke the balloon over her. "Ugh." she stuck her tongue out in disgust. She groaned as her eyes changed back to it's original chocolate brown colour and her nose gave her new pain as it went back to her regular pointed nose. She groaned again and burried her head in Josh's chest.

Two long legs came out bursting from under the robe and the the upper body part was suddenly appearing from under it. It was rather hard to believe that he few minutes before a monkey was lying there but Vince tried to brush his hair a bit but a major headache was keeping him from doing it. Trying to take deep breath, he was confused on where he was and what he was doing.

Cassandra gave him a pained smile... "Welcome back..." she told the boy. "The robe's mine... whenever you get your clothes... return it." She missed the monkey already...

Vince raised his head up to see who was talking to him but he couldn't recognized her. Why was she greeting him welcome back when they had never met before. Shaking his head, he was about to stand up when he noticed a little problem. Trying to cover himself with the robe that he had on him, he could easily see that she wasn't his size. "Just froze it right here. What the heck happens here?"

Amelia squatted down at eye level with the boy who had just appeared from the small monkey moments ago. This was rather strange, seeing the transformation take place before her very eyes. "AH yes, welcome back..." she told him, but realized she didn't even know who the kid was. "Students such as yourself have been transformed to animals - the cause seemed to be unknown, i think. But we've recently discovered the antidote with help of professors and now you're back."
