Alexis had an evil grin on her face, she liked fire, when she was 9 she 'accidentally' set her fathers office on fire when she had gotten hold of her grandmother's wand, she still had the scars from her 'lesson' he had given her once he had put the fire out. Alexis got up from her seat to go a fetch a pillow, once she was seated again she set her pillow down on the desk, took out her wand and very confidently said the incarnation "Lacarnum Inflammare" almost instantly the pillow burst into flames Alexis sat back and watched the flames for a few seconds befor saying "Aguamenti!" the flames slowly died away, Alexis wished she could of let the pillow burn to ashes. |

"Oh yes, you are a very lucky witch," Amelia said, somewhat honestly this time. Even though in truth, while she thought Josh was sweet, she could never see herself in a relationship with him. He just was too... too something. She swallowed at Lyra's next comment and from it, she knew that the girl wasn't happy with her being taken care of by Josh. "I can try to not let it happen again, but I cannot promise anything," she said, giving her a smile. She watched her go back to her seat to practice. The hufflepuff looked casually over to Josh with his teasing remark. "Oh go fly a broom," she said sarcastically, before turning back to her charcoaled pillow. She had enough of fire for one day. |

Agie gave Mia a dirty look and shook her head at Josh. After picking up her books she followed Lyra over to another table. "Let's practice together!" She said. "My aim isn't too great. So I might accidentally hit something, or someone." She laughed. |
Eliza was going to give this one more shot before she throw in the towels so to speak. She took a deep breath and said calmly "Lacarnum Inflammare.". She watched as the pillow caught on fire. She wasn't sure how she did but she managed to burn her hand. "Aguamenti!" she shout as her eyes filled with tears from the pain. Her left hand was shakying and in horrible pain and yet she wasn't going to cry. And she wasn't going to make a sense, she bit down hard on her lip as she took in shaky breaths. |

"I know what the saying is, but I was trying to make it more 'magical' and you ruined it," Amelia told him. She decided that she was done practicing and just sat there patiently waiting for the Professor's next set of instructions. |

Agie ducked as the water squirted out and started giggling. "See it's sooo hard to control that water." She winked. "Aguamenti!!!" Agie called, pointing the wand at the pillow. Once the fire was out Agie started to have a 'coughing fit' and her wand was raised in the air. While Agie was apparently preoccupied, water flew from her wand and hit Amelia. "Whoops!" Agie said. |
Eliza was trying to stay calm and keep her mind off the pain she was feeling. Taking a seat, she tired to think of anything and everything. All she really wanted to do was cry, but she wasn't in the mood to be forever known as a crybaby. She could feel the tears stinging her eyes as she continued to bit her lip. 'Why do I have to be so accident prone?' she asked herself as she stared hard at her desk. |

Agie nodded and bit down on her lip. She had to look away from Lyra because if she made any eye contact with her, she'd fall into a fit of giggles. No one but Lyra had seen her. Agie quickly placed her wand on the table next to Lyra's and linked her fingers together. She was looking back at the professor waiting for further instructions. |

"Dammit!" she swore as the pillow, like a giant burning marshmallow, flew through the air. She ducked, cringing as the pillow sailed toward the back wall of the class. Great.... She quickly cast again, stopping the burning pillow in its flight and returning it to its original position on the student's desk. She re-cast her spell, hoping for better accuracy. "Accio new and unburned pillow belonging to no one." Crikey. Sometimes it just seemed it'd be easier to walk over there and get things muggle-style. Xana placed her pillow on her desk and cast the first spell. "Incendio!" The pillow helpfully cooperated, growing charred around the edges and catching fire nicely. She enjoyed the warm glow as flames consumed her pillow. |
Hmm. Setting pillows on fire. Interesting.... Not having tried the Aguamenti charm yet, Gwen thought she'd give it a go before she tried to set anything aflame. Wand drawn, she cleared her throat and enunciated, "Aguamenti!" A great stream of water came bursting out the tip of her wand, drenching Gwen. Spluttering, she glared at her wand. "Well, looks like I've got that one down," she muttered. |

Amelia was busy minding her own business waiting for the Professor to continue with the lesson when all of a sudden her back felt wet. Very wet. Like not the kind she got after exercising. She flipped around in her seat to find the culprit and a smirk formed across her face as she realized who it was. "Agie Brandywine," she said seriously. "Never attack while your opponent's back is turned. If you would like to duel me, then perhaps we shall need to request a meeting in the dueling arena after class." She then gasped when the girl was helping another girl with a burn. "Oh my, you should never put freezing water on a burn, Agie! Are you trying to hurt the girl more? Lukewarm water will do just fine." she cringed at the thought. |

Hitachi nodded at what Dia had previously said and without further ado, he casted, "Incendio!" at a random pillow in view. He let it burn for a while but after he came close to it, it smelled horrible. "Not only is it blazing hot in here, it smells horrible!" he said to Dia. He splashed the pillow with water and then himself. |

Agie mouth dropped open in shock. "You definitely DON"T put warm water on a burn...that will just make it hurt and burn MORE. Running tap water, is what your suppose to use. " Agie said. Quote:

Liz walks up to the front takes a pillow with her, back to her seat. Incendo, she says oops, I mean Incendio, pointing at the pillow. Nothing happened. I know I've used this spell before, let's try again. Incendio, and taps a corner of the pillow. Ah ha! It worked. Auguamenta! Ummm, that isn't working. What was the spell again, looking at other students at work, she tries to listen carefully. |

Amelia couldn't believe that the Gryffindor Captain was honestly ignoring her. She had totally squirted her with water; she wouldn't care but she just wished that some people would tell that truth. That's what irked her the most. She gasped in shock. "I didn't say hot water, I said warm water. Like room temperature... you wouldn't want to put freezing water on either, because that will put the tissues into a state of hypothermia. You want the tissues to cool down but not excessively or too quickly." She informed Agie, but then just backed down and observed. "But do what you want... and don't come to me when there are problems with healing." |

"Excuse me..." she said softly to the Ravenclaw girl. She looked at her burn and winced. "That looks painful. I think this might help... It's burn-healing paste." She uncorked the jar of bright orange paste that smelled strongly of oranges, lanolin and ecualyptus, handing it to the girl with a smile. |
