Danni walked up behind Juno and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Are you alright mate?" she asked with genuine concern in her voice.

In the state that Juno was currently in, the touch of a hand on his shoulder felt like death itself coming to take him away kicking and screaming. “GAH!” he jumped back, into Kemma, with her vile pink fuzzy slippers. His heart was racing a mile a minute, pounding in his ears, stomach in his throat.

What was that she was asking him? Fine? No he was not fine. He was about 2 shakes of a crup’s tail for falling over on the floor and lying there like a melted puddle of jello. “Um…I …Bunnies - germs…and they’re icky… they eat carrots you know!” man now he sounded like a 4 year old.

Rachel looked at the other bunny. She smiled and petted it. "Sliparius!" The bunny turned into a slipper. Satisfied, she sat back and waited to get the homework.

"Sliparius." Cassandra said, pointing her wand at the bunnies, nothing. "Sliparius!" Again, nothing except a slight twitch the bunny made. "Sliparius!!" Nothing. After what seemed like forever, "Sliparius!!!!!" ONE bunny turned into a slipper. She blew a strand of hair that had gotten infront of her face. "This will take forever..." She said under her breath. She started doing the spell again on the other bunny, which after what seemed like forever, turned into a slipper, but this one was pink, the other was white. She glared at the unmatched slippers, then sighed. "At least I managed to turn them into slippers..."

When wrinkled up her nose. Carrots are very good things. With a shrug, she returned to her own work, preparing to actually do something this time. But the bunny wabbits were aaaall gooooone.

"What the..." she muttered under her breath. She hopped out of her seat and began to crawl around on her hands and knees, searching under desks. "Here rrrrrrabbit. Come here rabbit people."

Kemma stumbled back as Juno's elbow found its way into her shoulder while he was freaking out. Grabbing the bunnies - er, bunny slippers - to her chest, Kemma scooted away and around Juno. Thankfully Professor Pride was on hand to deal with him. Obviously Juno did not appreciate the art of desensitization. And really, what was so wrong with carrots? Maybe its a vegetable phobia.

Back to the rabbits. Why they were pink was a good question. What if all the creatures she transformed (assuming there were more) turned pink? That'd be tragic. Kemmas scratched her head with the tip of her wand as she contemplated the fuzzy slippers. I wonder what size they are? Hmm. Maybe I should put them on. Off came the shoes and socks. On came the slippers. Ooooo...soft! Like little furry pillows for my feet! Kemma pranced around in a circle experimentally.

Suzy tried the spell. "Sliparius!" she said at her pair of bunnies. They slowly transfigured into slippers, all but the ears. The ears startred to wiggle like they were being tickled.

"professor!!!! im no putting my feet in those. The ears are mmmmoving. I'm scared i will hurt them."

Ariana frowned, then nodded smiling sheepishly. "Guess I was a bit excited. I'll try to remember not to move my wand so much next time." she pulled her notebook close to her and wrote that down, reminding herself to do that next time.

She looked down for no reason and saw a rabbit. Quirking an eyebrow she picked it up and looked around. Spotting Whende she went over and asked, "Loose something?" as she held the bunny up, a twinkle in her eye.

Rebecca got her bunnies and said "sliparius" her bunnies turned into slippers she was satisfied and then her slippers started bouncing

"Professor my slippers are bouncing"

Rebecca was so suprised but when she thought about when they were still bunnies she twirled her wanad in between her fingers and the bouncing slippers turned into bouncing bunnies just as professor pride was walking over to her

Kennedy had sat watching those around her make attempts at transfiguring bunnies into slippers before she had even obtained her pair of live rabbits. For some reason, Kennedy felt off and was slightly out of focus. Realizing she better get moving just in case it took her a couple tries, Kennedy obtained a very adorable pair of bunnies and went back to her seat.


Kennedy placed one bunny directly in front of her and the other to the right of the other. She repeated the incantation "Sliparius" in her head several times before attempting the transfiguration. She felt pretty confident that she could do this correctly since she had done so well in the previous lesson; however, Kennedy was also aware that transfiguring a matchstick into a needle was a lot easier than transfiguring live rabbits into slippers. She stared at the adorable bunny, who stared back with big eyes and a twitching nose, and pointed her wand at it. Of course, being as inquisitive as they are by nature, the bunny stepped forward on the desk and tried biting Kennedy's wand! Kennedy called out, "Hey! Stop that you silly thing!" She pulled the wand away from the bunny and respositioned the little guy on the desk. She realized she wouldnt have much time to perform this spell, so with her wand at her side, Kennedy mentally prepared herself for her task. She then very quickly drew her wand, pointed it at the bunny and called out "Sliparius!" Very suddenly, the bunny's eyes glazed over and became made of plastic. The bunny shrunk in size a bit and assumed the shape of a slipper, with a slit in its back for someone to place their feet in. The fur turned a soft pink color while the round puffy tail remained pure white.

Kennedy replaced the bunny slipper with the other live rabbit and refocused herself. She cast the spell with confidence and received similar results as with the first bunny. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ySlippersP.jpg

Kennedy was quite proud of her pair of slippers and sat at her desk with a grin on her face, waiting for Professor Pride to continue or complete the lesson.

Rachel saw her slippers turn back into rabbits. She smiled at the professor and attempted it again. She smiled and petted the shaking rabbit she was about to transfigure. "Slinarius!" she said turning one of her rabbits into a slipper. The other rabbit, not wanting to be transfigured again, started to hop off. "Come back!" Rachel cried as she ran after the rabbit.

Flicking her wand, all the slippers in the room turned back to rabbits, "Very good. Everyone will return their rabbits to my desk, and I have them counted so dont try running off with one, you will be punished. Your homework is to go down the hall to the Transfiguration study and experimentation room, first look up animals that are easy to turn into certain items. After you find one you'd like to attempt, try it in the experimentation area, then send me a paragraph (at least four sentances) on why you think it worked/didnt work. It is do a week from today. Class dismissed." Danni said in one long breath, sitting back down at her desk.

Rachel gave up stopped chasing the rabbit and sat down and wrote down the homework. She waved good-bye to the professor and left the class.

Tag had thought himself rather clever and wasn't expecting the footwear assault on his head. "What the--OW! Ow!" He threw up his hands for protection, and then before he knew it the custom-made slippers had been dropped, with rapid eye-jiggling effect, and all he could see was her back. What did I do? Panicking at this unexpected reaction, Tag twisted around in his seat to see if anyone else noticed. Juno was shrieking something about carrots and Kemma was sashaying across the classroom in her pink monstrousities, both completely oblivious to his girl troubles. Of course, he wasn't so sure he would follow Juno's advice on girls, even if he'd offered it. Despite the fact that Juno seemed to attract girls like flies wherever he went, they typically didn't stay long. He seemed to consider them temporary inconveniences.

Tag stared at the back of Bucky's head, mind buzzing in perplexity. Apparently she had not thought his peace offering thoughtful or peacemaking. . . the question was, what to do about it? He imploringly pushed the pair of bears towards her elbow. "But Bucksy. . . they're nice bears! See? Friendly. . ."

Zap. Bunnies again, twitching their noses dizzily. One of them still sported a polka-dot bowtie.

Shoot.

Bucky sighed and shook her head. What? Was he playing stupid? Raising a single brow at him, she said nothing and picked up her school bag. The boy confused her beyond reason. What was the idea? To kill her from the inside out? If he didn't like her why didn't he just come out and say instead of doing little things to annoy her and hurt her like giving her slippers of the one thing she dreaded the most.

"No such thing as friendly bears," she muttered to him and tried not looking at his eyes. She'd fail at her mission if she did. Bucky began walking out of the classroom, dreading having to make the homework when she suddenly turned around, determination crossing her face. Seizing the front of Tag's robes she moved rapidly towards him and stopped mid-stride. Change of heart. "I--we'll talk later," she added lamely and blushed, clearly knowing this is not what she had intended on saying or doing the first time around and walked at a quick pace almost in a sprint out of the classroom.

Tag's face was the picture of confusion. His mouth went dry the moment she started towards him, not sure whether she was going to punch him or. . . something else, and had flinched automatically.

We'll talk later?

Those words were never good. Wondering at the ominous tone in her voice, Tag collected his books and wandered out of the classroom towards the dungeons.

suzy packed her bag and started to think about what she was going to transfigure. She stood up and walked out of the door. she had to figure out something and quick.
