Anthony kept fairly quiet, though some of the already-made tragedies had made him laugh. He was waiting for what to do next and was excited about it...

Kerry dropped the eggs gently back at her desk and threw her gloves on just in time. She looked down to see an Ashwinder crawling at her feet again. Kerry jumped out of the way in reaction, and jumping onto a chair, she reached down and picked it up, and arms length away from her body and shaking ran it back to the front of the room before anything else could go wrong.

Whende stepped back, but there wasn't much she could do when she already had another Ashwinder to deal with. So she simply watched, knowing that everyone else was more than enough to handle it.

Cora put on her dragon hide gloves just as she saw another Ashwinder. She ran and picked it up and put it in the box of ice. Professor, I got another ashwinder over here. She said as she thought to herself how exciting this class is.

Aurora Put her gloves on and was content watching the drama around her and not get involved. The other students seemed to have a grasp on what was happening. Too many people can cause more havoc.

Jasmine put on her protective gloves and closed her eyes blocking out the noise of the other students. Finally she she heard what she needed. Walking over behind Kerry, Jasmine stepped into the darkend corner and picked up the hissing Ashwinder. "So sorry my friend but you are scaring the Merlin out of some of the students." The snake hissed again and Jasmine raised her eyebrow before placeing the serpent into the barrel of ice. "Now that wasn't a very nice thing to say now was it. Prof. Maline I don't think the Ashwinder is very happy."She said with a frown.

Jeff had his dragon hide gloves on in a trice. One thing he understood was how sneeky a snake could be.

"Oh goodness no! Don't cry! Look on the bright side Ariana! You've earnt a lot of points for your house, and helped to create around three hundred baby Ashwinders!" She exclaimed, whilst retrieving baby Ashwinders from the burnt out bean bag.

Kirilia jumped as a girl screamed and turned around. She jumped to feet when she realised a bean bag was on fire and automatically took a few steps back.
Luckily, Professor Maline took charge. Kirilia instantly pulled on her dragon hide gloves, and bent over looking for any stray ashwinders.
She spotted one almost instantly, it was merely a baby and kinda cute, she picked it up gently and placed it into the box of ice, as instructed.

Sarah spotted an ashwinder at her feet and bent down and picked it up and ran over to the boxes and put it in one with the ice

AJ was breathing quickly now, but tried to keep her head. Putting down the box with her egg in it, which was still safely frozen, she slipped her gloves one quickly and pulled out her wand, "Aguamenti!" she said as a small fire seemed to erupt at a girl's desk to the side of her.

She looked around, ready to act quickly, if another Ashwinder should appear.

Vince nodded, immediately seeing the accident that happened. This was one crazy class filled with many creatures everywhere! Getting out his gloves, he picked up one ashwinder with a determined face, putting it in the barrl of ice. He looked at the others, as they extenguished the flame. He picked up many other ashwinders, all at once with both of his hands, hurrying over to the barrel. He slipped on the floor, while he continued his search for more ashwinders. It immediately tried to snap his nose, but luckily, it snapped on his gloved-hand. "This is total madness," he whispered, trying to put the ashwinder in the barrel of ice. He actually had to slide on the floor to catch those ashwinder.

Curt jumped out of his seat and looked for his gloves and put them on. he ran around the room looking for one of the ashwinders, they were quick little fella's. He saw one dart under the teachers dest, so Curt dived under it and grabbed it right below the neck. He fought hard against Curt's grasp but Curt held onto it tightly and put it into the teachers big bin of ice. "Are these more dangerous than ashwinder's that come from fires?" Curt asked the Professor curiously.

"EVERYBODY STAY CALM! THIS IS NO TIME TO PANIC!"

Jeff dove into the sceen hearding the snakelings toward the ice bin.

Kerry put the ashwinder down in the ice and was relieved to have him out of the way. One less ashwinder in the class was fine with her. Hearing a student yell out for the professor, Kerry quickly turned and saw a desk on fire.

Moving the student to safety, Kerry took out her wand again and shouted "aquamenti!" and watched the small fire start to go out, and hoping it woudl stay out, long enough to gain control of the situation.

What a wild, yet fun class! Kerry thought to herself. Kerry just looked at the chaos as a challenge to see what they could handle in the class. She shrugged her shoulders, "such as life I guess" she thought laughing.

Jasmine then spotted a baby ashwinder by her foot and gently placed it into a box of ice. "There you go little fellow/" The snake hissed and Jasmine smiled." Well you are much friendlier than your buddy over there."

Torie looked up, startled, as a dramatic scene began to unfold before her eyes. In one corner of the room, a small blaze was occurring, which quickly caused a slight amount of panic that spread like wildfire through the room. As Professor Maline tried to extinguish the flames, along with the help of some students, she yelled out an instruction for everyone to put on their dragonskin gloves. Whipping hers out of the pocket of her leather bookbag, Torie quickly pulled them on and looked around alertly for any sign of the highly flammable Ashwinder snake. She laughed aloud as a large barrel of ice suddenly appeared in the middle of the classroom. Pandemonium was occurring, and Torie could do nothing except hold her sides from the pain of laughing so hard. Tears came to her eyes as she continued to laugh. She would remember this class forever.

Professor Maline sighed, then burst out laughing. This was some first lesson. She quickly retrieved as many Ashwinders as she could, placing them in the ice and doused the burning desk, giggling her blonde head off.

She pointed her wand to her throat and muttered "sonurous" she beamed and looked about.

"Class! Sit on your bean bags! I'm pretty sure we have all the Ashwinders now!" She laughed, then tossed bars of chocolate to them all, "Eat! It'll help calm you!" She grinned.

Jeff hardly gets one snake under control when another brakes away.

"AJ, can't you talk to them? There your kind."

Ariana sniffed back more tears as she smiled slightly. "Thank you Professor." she said. Putting on her gloves, she bent down and began to help the professor pick up the bacy Ashwinders. She had to admit they had a cute aspect to them when they were newborns. Placing them carefully into the box, she looked around for more, no longer scared..

Liz jumped as another Ashwinder crawled by her feet, she quickly picked it up and placed it the box of ice. "Professor I go one." Liz smiled. She then walked over and took a seat and also a bar of chocolate."

Sarah sat back on her bean bag and caught the chocolate that the proferssor threw out and opened it and broke a piece off and put it in her mouth

AJ gave an irritated glance to a Gryffindor boy who seemed to think he was the professor, and who was shouting out instructions of not to panic. 'Well duh!!! Except some people are mortally afraid of snakes and can do nothing BUT panic!' She thought annoyedly and felt something slither by her foot.

She smiled as she looked down to see another baby Ashwinder there, and she bent down and tried to grab it, but it moved faster, so she stepped quickly and picked it up bye the neck so it couldn't bite her. AJ walked quickly, avoiding the various obstacles in the room, to get to the barrel of ice, and sank her hand, with the Ashwinder in it, into the barrel of ice and let go, leaving the snake in the ice.

AJ turned to the boy who spoke her name, wondering how exactly hew knew it, considering she'd never seen the boy before, and replied angrily to him, "You are the most ignorant person I've ever met! Just because I am in Slytherin does NOT mean I am a Parseltongue!" she shook her head at the sheer stupidity this boy was radiating, and caught a chocolate bar from Professor Maline as she sat down and began to nibble on it.

Kerry saw Ariana sobbing hysterically and went over to comfort her. "Its ok, accidents happen, you didn't mean to drop them, they're just very flammable creatures. Chaos is being restored, and just look at it this way, this is one class you'll never forget. I mean look at me, I ran around the class screaming...me a prefect...who is usually nice and calm. Hmmm strange things are happening in this class, and yet it's fun, isn't it?" Kerry laughed.

Marie was happy that everything was back to normal, not she didn't like this kind of activity. She went sit on the bean bag and took a bit of the delicious chocolate bar that Professor Maline had given them. She then waited to see what was coming next.
