Welcome to the Greenhouse for Out of Class Work; otherwise known as the Greenhouse #17. If you turn right, you can walk into Greenhouse #24.

From here, the big Greenhouse has doors connecting to the smaller Greenhouses and to a yard outside. By the front, you can also see the Poison Cell as well as the closets. If you forgot something, perhaps you should take a look inside!

While you work here, make sure to look at the aisles numbers carefully, otherwise you may find yourself in the man-eating plants section or in the severe weather section! If it helps, perhaps you can ask for a map.. (but there is none at this time).

So, come in and hang out before classes start once more! Are you tending plants? Are you tending to the Greenhouse?

Make sure you follow directions carefully!

For your information:

By the entrance, there was a small room protected by a door. That small room was known as the "Poison Cell".

Greenhouse Caretakers' To Do List:

6. Grab more sandbags and fill them up with soil out in the yard. Make sure you select the sandy-colored sand.
7. Start to dig new holes on Section 27 for a new breed of cold weather plants. Make sure to wear proper attire.
8. Check for the water valves to be working
9. Check the thermostats' spells are working
10. Clear the snow from Sections 25-30
11. Make sure no ice is accumulated in Sections 25-30

In order to prepare for next class, make sure to keep the plants in Section 31-40 constantly fed. Make sure that the water doesn't overflood the plants! (very wet weather)

1. Grab clean pitchers and water all of the plants. Use warm water for the cold plants. Leave them by the water trays.
2. Grind the green stones found in the closets at the entrance to make powder. Mix the powder in the pitchers with water to get a blue greenish tint in the water.
3. Pour this water to plants in Section 41-50 and 01-10.
4. Make sure to feed the biting plants on Section 33 with the meat inside the fridges (located right at the end of that row).
5. Make sure the plants in Section 40-50 get some water (but not a lot. They don't need much).
6. Go to Section 17 and collect the golden dust that the Dremuni plants give off. Be careful not to breathe them in! They induce sleep
7. Collect the fireseeds from Sections 44-47. Be careful not to touch them with your bare hands!
8. Make sure to water the Bubblesnap plants on Sections 33-35
9. Check on the progress of the Mandrakes

OOC- Please refer to the first post for information about the Greenhouse, the Poison cell, and so on. Also, don't be afraid to get in a little of a jam! (HINT: It is about your role-playing not about how many tasks you do.. Also try to veer your role-playing around the tasks, and not so much just plain chatting). Happy creative role-playing!!!

kally hoffman wlaked into the greenhouse. She loved it in there it was her favorite place to be. She smiled at the plants and ran her hands ove their leaves. She loved the smel, the touch, and the feel of all the plants in their.

Kassie walked into the greenhouse. The familiar plants made her smile. She walked quietly around and looked at the plants. Then realizing that the green house was empty she grabbed a pitcher of water and a green stone. She sat there grinding it the poured the dust into the water. She watched as the water turned a familiar greenish-blue color. As she poured it into the plants in aisles 1-10 her mind wandered.

Alicia Cranberry stepped inside the Greenhouses for the first time in her life. She smelled the wonderful aroma of plants, she loved them!! She took a deep breath and then decided to check out section 11-24. She turned right opened the small door. "uh, uh' she shivered, she was in the Cold Weather section! She ran out, laughing and then turned left and this time, did not get lost. She entered Section 11-24 and then sat down on the edge of a fountain and admired the morning Sunshine. She ran her hands through the different leaves & flowers and even let her hands get a little wet in the water. She then walked towards the main room, got a pitcher, filled it up and watered most of the plants in Section 01-10. Then she refilled and moved onto section 40-50 and gave them a sprinkle.

Stunned from the happenings in Charms class, Beck wandered into the greenhouses and smiled for the first time that day. Here was a place that she might be able to fit in. She read the note posted about the different sections and decided to head for section 41 for some weather that matched her mood. As she walked through the door she immediatly began to sweat and pulled off her school robe to cool down abit. Remembering the stern warning about the tempature she walked to the thermastat on the wall and was glad to see that it was adjusted properly. Beck then walked to the far corner where she found a water spigot and a watering can which she filled up and began to water the plants. When she was finished she swept up the floors and cleaned out the watering cans. Looking around in satisfaction that she actually acomplished something a little useful for the day she walked out, carefully closing the door behind her and headed for the great hall for dinner.

Phoebe walked into the green house pleased to be back, she hadn't had time to visit it yet as she had already lot's of homework. She grabbed as spare broom and began to sweep away the dirt and spilled powder from someone before her. As she was sweeping closer to one of the many strange plants she looked up at one of the long tentacle like things attached to this strange plant. Phoebe decided to igbore it and continue sweeping. Suddenly a long tentacle grabbed the broom Phoebe automaticly grabbing onto it was being lifted. "help" She called out to the busy greenhouse sure that someone would here her.

Deciding to try her hand at Herbology here, Corabelle headed off towards the Greenhouse and checked over a few things. She wanted to be a bit daring and headed for the fridge, grabbing quite a few packages of meat. Once her arms were full, she headed for the section, 33, right beside the fridge and started feeding the plants that needed the meat. They all seemed so hungry and she gave each plant enough meat until they were all settled down.
As she started walking back to the fridge, one of the plants snapped at her and she paused, looking at it. "Now now, you've just eaten. You can wait...." her words cut off by the sound of someone calling out for help. She dumped the empty packages into a trash receptable and went looking for the cause of the noise and stopped in her tracks at the sight of a girl holding onto a broom, almost suspended by a plant that seemed to have gotten a hold of it.
Pulling her wand from her robes, she pointed it at the plant and told the girl, "Don't move...." and thought a moment. "Immobulous!" she said in a firm tone and the plant stopped moving. "Now, let go of the broom." she told her, moving to where she could steady the girl once she dropped to the ground.

"Oh mu goodness, thankyou so much" Phoebe said as a Ravenclaw girl immobulised the plant. As she said let go Phoebe had a few second thoughts but let go falling and landing hard on the ground. "Ow" she said before getting up. "thanyou, I'm Phoebe" She added thinking it was a bizare way to meet someone.

Katie Kay stepped inside the Greenhouses for the first time in her life. She smellet the wonderful sents of plants, she loved them!! She took a deep breath and then decided to check out section 11-24. She turned left and this time, did not get lost. She entered Section 11-24 and then sat dow. She then walked towards the main room, got a pitcher, filled it up and watered most of the plants in Section 01-10.

Davina walked into the green house.She groaned slightly.It wasnt exactly her best subject, but she still wasnt that bad at it,infact she had always managed to pass.She gently ran her fingers over a few plants.

Shane walked into the Green-house, and tried to figure out why he had to take this subject. He looked around for someone he knew, to make it worth his while.

eliza had a look around,she looked at some of the plants.

Nicole walked into the Greenhouse, and was amazed by all of the plants. How fascinating! She looked around at all of the plants. It was wonderful. She thought of how her day had been, and everything else. Then, she heard some girls, and decided to leave.

Kay walked into the Greenhouse and immediately checked the bulletin board for the names per Professor Virohsa's note. She unpinned the list and made her way over to a small table and accio'd the blank stacks of Herbology Club cards from their secure location. Pulling out her wand, she began to charm the cards for the new members.

Phoebe waving still to Corrabelle she turbed the corner and walked through the door to other Green house. She wasn't alone, some other people, some of which she remembered from last year.

Suddenly Phoebe remembered that she had to show her card. So she ran back to the Ravencalwa ta the table and said, "Excuse me, I have ny card here." She said rummaging in her bag... Phoebe couldn't find it. "Maybe you have it? My name is Phoebe Moult, I am huffie" She said smiling.

Kay finished charming the last of the Herbology Club identification cards when she heard someone ask her a question. "Did you sign up for the club?" she asked as she thumbed through the Hufflepuff stack. "Because if you didn't, then I'm afraid you don't have a card. You can find the sign-up information on the Herbology Bulletin Board."

"Yeah, I was in the club last year. I saw my name on the list" Phoebe said hoping she had saw accurately. She defiantly remember seeing her name and enjoyed all the meetings last year. As the Ravenclaw went through the hufflepuff file Phoebe saw her name. "There it is" She said Pointing at the one with her name, Phoebe Moult.

Professor Virohsa walked into the Greenhouse. Like usual, the Greenhouse was fairly busy with students walking around talking excitedly about their projects and plants. She waited in the lobby area for the students to walk in.

Erin followed Professor Virohsa into the Greenhouse, clutching her plant in one hand and her bottle in the other. Glancing around, she saw a few other students wandering about and looking after there plants. Returning her gaze to the professor, Erin waited for further instructions.

Lua stood near the professor shiftily looking around the greenhouse, the last time she was here was last year. She needed to get back in here for volunteer work, she used to enjoy it.

Touy followed the professor and some of the other students into the greenhouse. As she look around she held tight to her plant and bottle. This is a intresting place Touy thought.

Lauren walked behind her classmates into the Greenhouse. She was juggling her bag, her plant, and her bottle of seeds, and was still rather sweaty from the room before, but was inspired at the sight of so many beautiful plants. It was incredible in here - there were plants of all colors, sizes, and fragrants, lined up and protected with tremendous care. She liked it in here.

Professor Virohsa looked at the Guide and nodded. "We need to go to Section 42. So lets start walking", she explained as she started to walk towards the hotter sections. "We will have to pass through Cold Weather, so make sure that your plant does not get any snow on it", she added as she continued to walk.

Erin, who was close to the front of the group, followed Professor Virohsa through the Greenhouse. With her free hand, she grapped her wand out of her pocket. Muttering a few quick words, a shield was produced, guarding her plant from any snow as they passed through the Cold Weather section. Once they passed through that part of the Greenhouse, Erin flicked her wand and the shield disappeared. She stuck her wand back in her pocket and kept walking.
