Charms Class #1 Welcome to Charms! You enter the old classroom to find it looking very different from usual. There are still desks for all the students to sit in, but standing on every desk is a miniture door, about a foot tall. As always, take a seat and wait patiently for the professor to show up. OOC: Feel free to RP yourself into the classroom, but try to keep chatting to a minimum. I'll be back in about half an hour to begin the lesson. |
Bella walked into the classroom and waited patiently for the teacher. SHe organized her belongings and sat quietly. |
Natisia walked into the classroom, smiled at Bella and took a seat witing for the lesson to start. |
brenda walked into the classroom and took a seat. she put down her things and took out a book. she then started to read until the other students came in. |
Nabiya walked into class and smiled warmly at the professor before heading to her usual seat at the back of the class. She put her bag down and watched the door quizzically. "Ookay..." She said to herself and took her seat. |
Emma Walked into the classroom. "Hi, Professor, names Emma!" And she went to sit down, she put her books next to her desk n the floor, and took the door into her hands. "What are we supposed to do with this." She ask the others in the class, not wanting to do anything she wasn't supposed to do. |
Davina walked into the charms class room and took a seat in the third row. |
Jessica entered the classroom slowly, her bag swinging on her shoulder, her flaming red hair blowing about as usual. She loved Charms and hoped to have a wonderful time with the Professor today - as usual. Finding a seat, she put down all her accessories and said a polite "Hi" to Bella, he eyes curiously taking in the miniature door on her desk. What can it be for? she thought, racking her brains. |
Eunice walked into class, eager to start. She'd been anticipating charms class for a long time now. Settling down at a table, she pulled out her wand, a quill, and parchment to take notes if needed. |
Alyssa walked into charms with her stuff and sat rite beside davina in the third row. |
Christy walked into the classroom and greeted the professor. She took a seat near the window as usual and took out her new quill, ink and note book. She sat silently and waited for the class to start. |
Evy stepped in and sat at Nabiya's left, at the back of the classroom. "Hi Nabs!" She smiled. "What do you assume these are for?", she asked with a quizzical look on her face, pointing at the small door on her desk. |
Erin entered the Charms classroom to find it about 1/3 of the way full. She glanced around, and not seeing any of her friends, she took a seat by another Gryffindor whom she thought was called Jessica. "Hi, I'm Erin. Do you know what these doors are for? It looks like this will be an interesting lesson." |
Erin glanced at her watch. "Hmmm.... I hope class starts soon," she thought to herself. |
Emma looked at the Young boy next to herself, he was looking at his watch. "I think the doors might be there for us to make them bigger. " She told him, she couldn't think of anything else! |
Sebastian walked into the classroom and sat down on the right side of the room. He pulled his Charm's books out of his bag and opened one, reading up on some basic charms. |
Eunice made a move to poke her wand cautiously at the door, but decided not to at the last second and drew it away nervously. This door did look really odd. Her mind was racing with all the possibilities on what they were going to do with them. |
Kate entered the classroom from the back and made her way up to the front of the classroom. As she was passing the students, she noticed several of them were giving the doors curious looks, which made her smile to herself. When she reached the front of the room, she turned to face the class and introduced herself. "Hello, everyone. Welcome to another year of Charms, I'm sure we'll have a lovely time together. I am Professor Zoa, as many of you already know, and this is my third term teaching here at Hogwarts. Let's get to work. We'll be learning two spells today which are related to each other. The first is Colloportus. Does anyone already know what this spell does?" OOC: From this point on, anyone who RPs coming into class 'late' will have points taken off. Just assume you've been here the whole lesson. Thanks. |
Sebastian looked at the professor. For the first time he noticed the door on his desk, but her question made sense. He raised his hand quickly and said, "Colloportus is used to lock doors professor." |
As Jacob listened to the word Colloportus, it sounded a bit strange to him. It probably dealt with that door on my desk. And Jacob just took down more notes, trying his best to understand Charms. Quote:

Evy raised her hand. "Lock doors and other objects." |
Haefalaswen walked into the charms classroom, she was really excited. It was the subject she most looked forward to... She frowned slightly and looked inquiringly at the little doors standing on every desk. "I wonder what are those for..." she asked herself... Shrugging she looked around to see if there was anybody she knew... Aparantly not... But when she looked on the right she spotted Sebastian. Smiling, she walked towards him... "Ehm... Hi... Mind if I sit with you ?" she asked uncertainly. Haefalaswen listened carefully as the professor started the lesson (ooc: what do you do when you want to cross out the text ?? :worried: ) |
Sabrina raised her hand. "It's a spell that is used to lock doors or other objects that may be locked." |
Christy examined the miniature doors...what are they for? weird... she grabbed her Charms book searching for some help and some basic charms. As she opened her book she scanned the room around her, a Ravenclaw boy was reading his book, some Gryffindors were chatting quietly and some were also looking at their own miniature doors. |
"It closes doors professor." Alyssa said with her hand raised. |
