So... who are you and why am I interviewing you? (*giggles*)
Last time I checked, I was Amber, or I may be better known as "stardancer488" or "star" or all those other names that y'all have called me at some time. I am 16, live in Michigan, and now you may stalk me.

Um... I am not exactly sure why your interviewing me, my guess would be that you listened to that voice in your head that kept saying "Interview Amber" XD

Why don't you tell us a little about what you do on SS?
~~Nothing.~~ Currently, I mod the restricted section FF's along with the lovely San. And mod the Charing Cross Road with two adorable people, Sarkina (Rovie), and Nessa. I do other small things here and there (mainly in madame malkins). Outside of the main forum, I teach Arithmancy or I should say... did. And I am editor of the SS quill.

Yes, my request thread is currently filled with well... requests. LOL I am working on them though, I swear. *huggles all the lovely people who keep coming back to the slowest graphic maker*
*pets* You may be slow but, you are very busy and your graphics are worth the wait.

Can you tell us why you aren't teaching Arithmancy anymore?

Well, basically ministry officials took over the school, and Bree was slightly upset, ok slightly is a understatement... So she and some other students, took things into there own hands. Basically in short they painted the walls of former professor Lainey's room with some rather "pretty" walls if you want my opinion. The ministry officials were NOT happy and Bree got kicked. *pets Bree*

Ah yes, quite the opposite of myself, though. I guess that is what makes her fun, not to mention it got some students involved and gave a few people a good laugh.

Since a new term is about to start, do you have any advice for the new students?
Oh wow, there is a bunch I'd love to say, but I'll try and save you all from reading ten paragraphs. Basically just get involved. Stick your nose into places where you should not be, get a detention... or two, enjoy yourself. And get as involved as you want to be, don't be shy, I swear MOST of us do not bite, only a few of us do. Nah, really the plot is wonderful and we encourage students to join. It really is great fun once you get going, and you never know what may happen. Just in short, jump in, be curious, and most importantly have fun.

What is your favorite part of SS?
You just *have* to ask the hardest question don't you? I love the entire site, both the main forums and the school area. But I have to say my absolute favorite area is probably Madame Malkins. I *love* graphics and just being able to make things for people and have them "like" it, is amazing. And to see how talented everyone is, it's just WOW.

Ghost signatures were just a random thing. Erin (Cassirin) wanted a new signature and I offered to make her one, however she gave me no insight on what she wanted, so I just randomly choose and found out that I really enjoyed this type of thing. So I started trying to "read" people’s minds to see who wouldn't care whether or not I just changed their signature but really had no clue, so I started "ghost signatures" in my request thread, and to my surprise they became rather popular.

What they are? They are basically just a banner. Some people give me insight into what they want while others don't, and I make something and just add it to there signature.
Sounds like fun. I've seen tons of them around, actually. Ghost Siggies seem like good things for people who can't figure out the rules in the submit your siggy thread.

HAHA. Yes, and for those that are like me and can never decide what they want.

Okay, so now that we know a little about your life on SS, tell us a little more about your life outside of the wonderful world of Snitchseeker.
I don't think I have a life outside of my computer. LOL Um... I attend a wonderful high school which I love (most of the time) and when I am not found studying and/or doing homework, you'll find me on the computer making graphics and roaming forums or at "Turning Pointe" where I currently take dance lessons. I also enjoy running, in my spare time.

... I lead a very boring life.
Sounds pretty full to me.

So, how did you get into Harry Potter?
I first heard about Harry Potter way back in 5th grade, when my homeroom teacher read them to us, I loved the books back then but never really thought twice about them. However, I kept reading each one as it came out, when I heard that they were making them into movies, I became obsessed. I re-read all the books probably 5 times (to the extent that my mom made me read another book LOL). My friend, Melissa, and I would sit in my basement and read the books together. And the rest is history. I just fell completely in love.

Who is your favorite character?
I know you want me to say Snape ... I love the whole lot, they each give the story something unique. But in the end I think Sirius Black was my favorite, although at times he is not, but overall I just loved him.
Can you elaborate on the "at times he is not"?
Well just the way he acted sometimes, I guess. I mean when we see glimpses of his past, and the way he treated some other people... I just totally disagree with people bullying other people or being mean to them in general. So that kind of irks me.
So, you sympathized with Snape? (tee hee)
LOL I had a feeling that was coming. *can read your Snape mind* XD. Yes I did. I felt bad for him, it was just plain rude and mean, and I sometimes suspect that his bad childhood contributes to his bitterness.
I suspect you are correct. And doesn't everything come back to Snape?

Anyway.... Which character do you most relate to?
Hm.... *thinks* A mix of a few characters. Hermione because she is very academic and to a degree is a perfectionist and is always trying to please all her teachers. Mcgonagall, mainly because I can be strict and I am one of those people who just needs to follow the rules. If the situation is serious I will enforce what needs to be enforced, but also have a more understanding side. And a few character traits from other random characters(I so just changed topics there o_O).

Do you look up to any characters?
Um.... Dumbledore, for many reasons. He lets people learn through mistakes, and even though he always seems to know what will happen, he lets it happen. Even when everything is out of hand he manages to keep his cool. And the way he always seems to help everyone but he never gives them direct answers, if they want the answer he only guides them in the right direction. And he believes in second chances which I believe is important, I truly believe that people can change.

Are there any questions that I forgot to ask that you wish I had?
I don't believe so.

Okay, then... Our last MotW, Francis (fr2nc1z) asks, "If your SS RP character was placed in the HP books, which book would you like to do your cameo? And what would your role be (i.e. what contribution would you make?)"
Wow. *pokes Francis* hehe I'd die if my character was added to the book, as simple as that. As for what book, probably PoA, just because that’s my favorite book. LOL As for my role hm... nothing "mean" or "bad" I just couldn't stand that. (It's the way that I am). Something with maybe a twist; I love characters with twists, just when you think you'd figured them out "wham" there is something else. (sorry if that does not directly answer the question)
How would Professor Bree interact with the other characters? *gets curious*
She would probably be closest to McGonagall. She is slightly like her but less intimidating, she tries to make everyone feel welcome. She wouldn't really meddle into other people’s business unless she felt as if they were stepping on her toes, or if they were bothering her.

If you were a dessert, what kind of dessert would you be?
*knew this was coming* white chocolate mousse (it's so hard to choose LOL)

choose: because I HATE choosing things. I seriously can't. I swear my "choosing" chromosome has some type of defect. LOL
