Hi friends, after being away because I have been working way more than usual and having car troubles I’m back. Feels like months but it’s only been a week.

I left a few open posts if anyone wants to play:
Nathaniel (Ministry) in the Fitness Room, Patrick (Hogwarts) near the Wooden Bridge. I also have my Diagon Ally shopkeeper available anywhere if someone would like her.

I am grabbing you at the Fitness Center!

Someone come play at the Leaky with the Raffle going on!

Since I'm not sure if Stas qualifies (since she turned 17 last October IC), I might wait to post. Because I could always bring Lucy in as well.

lazykitty 03-24-2019 07:31 AM

Archer says she hates being one of the 'young ones' of the sixth years (she just turned sixteen in February <_<).....

Hey! I have a question! Is this open to sixth years who are also 17? Since Lili has been 17 since 12th September 2097, and I've been head canoning that she's been having lessons since then. Just wondering XD

Actually, her bio says she was born in 2081 which would make her 17 in February, not 16 so she's right there in the middle and wouldn't be the youngest of the 6th years. June, July and August babies would be the youngest kiddos. ^_^

MJ is the official authority here and what her department head would say would go (Charles would support whatever decision she made), but Harry Potter canon (as well as current Ministry of Magic canon unless clarified otherwise) is thus:

Quote:

Students taking Apparition lessons had to be 17 or to turn 17 by the end of August the following year. Apparition is considered too dangerous for underage wizards, and is tracked by the Ministry using the Trace.

emjay 03-24-2019 08:45 AM

Yes, going by canon (and that's what my department would follow here), characters would have to be 17 years of age by the time of the apparition lessons. So that would also include sixth years who are currently 17. Sorry for the confusion. I'll make sure to edit and make it more clear when I wake up properly. Thanks for bringing that to my attention, and please play!

Yay thank you (and Kath) for the clarification <3

Hi, guys!!! I hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL term! I haven't posted in over a month. My house flooded, and it's been a huge recovery. Our house is almost completely remodeled!

Anyway, where can I jump in at? I have a 4th year who wants to spend at least SOME of the term with me RPing her fourth year! :lmao:

sweetpinkpixie 03-25-2019 01:17 AM

that 1000 point difference between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff though in the House Point race lololololol :lmao:

I'm really proud of Ravenclaw, though. They needed a win! I can remember a time when they won five or so terms in a row! Then there's Slytherin hanging out down there at the bottom. :P

Hasn't this only been like the second term in a row win for Ravenclaw?? and its what happened when everyone went BLUE after GREEN :xd:

Recently, yes. But years back, when Touz, Ern, and Tegz and a few others were in Ravenclaw, they were unstoppable! I don't remember how many terms Ravenclaw won, but I remember them doing very well!

Ginevra 03-25-2019 02:23 AM

Good on Ravenclaw for their hard work. In fact, I'm always proud of everyone's effort because every bit helps. I am very pleased with how I'm going considering how hard RL can be for me.

Okay yea  I thought you were saying it was the fifth term in a row this time around. But yea last time it was probably back when Kay / Vindictus was around. Not to undermine efforts and hard work, but nowadays its just clear when house numbers are quite uneven between the houses!
