Hello, everyone! I’ve been given the awesome opportunity to interview Blackened today, also known as Chris! And here’s my first question. What are some of your key roles here at SS, some of the things you do?
Okay. I hope this won't get too long and bore people :xd:

On SS, I'm Head of WWW, or the games section, and I also am a Knockturn Alley and Fan Fiction mod, a Romanian language mod, SBFC pressie and a sponsor of some awesome fan clubs.

And you do an awesome job of it, too! I love all the FCs you sponsor! You do a wonderful job with everything you're involved with, I'm sure our members would agree!
Umm, well ... *blush* I sure hope so and thank you for the compliments. You do an excellent job yourself.

Oh, thank you! *blushes as well* Okay, so my next question is one of curiosity, as this is always interesting to so many of us. How did you first come to find this site?
I was browsing through another HP site, like many others who came across SS. :xd: Mugglenet, to be precise. And I followed a link to a Fred & George article that led me to SS. And that was it. Love at first sight.

That's great! It does seem quite a few of us have found it through a similar experience to yours. It's almost like a bit of magic itself!

Heehee! Now, my next question is kind of related to the last one. It is - what is your most favorite thing of all about SS and why?
Or better put - what do you love best about SS?

Well, in terms of sections, I couldn't really decide. But overall, I love the sense of community, and the feeling of friendship that it just emanates somehow. I mean ... here we are, after all the HP books are out, and we're still here, still loving SS. And I know I'll be here once the last movies are out, too, and after that. *hugs SS*

You're welcome! Okay, next I will ask a question I've thought up, kind of a random one at that. If you were able to bring one character to life from the series and ask them one question and one question only, who would that character be and what would you ask them?

Hehe. Okay. Well, I would probably bring back Sirius Black (no surprise there, heh) and ask him what is there, beyond the veil. It's just such a huge mystery still, and a general one at that, not just HP-wise. So yes, that would be my choice. And while I was at it, I'd give Sirius a big hug, just cause I can. :xd:

I love it! And I was thinking you would probably bring him back. That's a great question, and one I know we would all love to know the answer to. Great choice!

I really do! Okay, on to the next question. Would you care to share some of the things which interest you outside of SS?
Well, I adore travelling. I've lived in 3 different countries in the past 2 years, so that's an obvious one. :xd: I also love reading, writing, being with friends, learning foreign languages, and I also enjoy just discovering things about different cultures, in general.

Wow, that all sounds so wonderful! You are so lucky to have visited the different countries, that must be so much fun! It's great to be able to get out and see different parts of the world!
Definitely, it's an unforgettable experience I highly recommend it. *nods*

Yes, it would be great if more people were able to do that, I agree! Couldn't think of anything better myself! Since you are such a seasoned traveler, what are some of your favorite foods?
Oh, teehee, I'm not the best judge on that, since I've very recently started cooking. :xd: But I really like the French food I've tried this year in France, it really is all it's cut out to be. And of course, the food back home will always be among the best for me. I guess it's how it is for everyone.

No, they're not, not at all. Don't even worry about that at all. Our members will be very happy to hear what you have to say! French food is wonderful, and I do think the French chefs are definitely the best in the world, the true masters. I love the things they can do with the different sauces and things.
Definitely, French cuisine is neat. :)

Yes, it is! Now, we finally reach our last, absolutely final question, unless you have something you would like to add after that, of course! I am going to have you imagine that you are helping a brand new member, someone who has just graduated from the Newbie Hut and wants to explore the site. Where would you recommend they go first (after they've read the Rules and FAQ - of course!)?

Now hmm ... to answer your question. I would say that they should start simple. When I was a new member, I took it step by step, and I still think it's the best method. I would say, go to WWW or the fan clubs first. Then feel free to get acquainted with the other sections. Ta-daa! =)

I agree! I did the exact same thing as you recommended and was very happy with the results.(Obviously!) So your advice is very excellent.
