Seeker of the Snitch now hiring!
 

As some of you may have noticed, the Seeker of the Snitch magazine has been down for quite some time. We are on our way to bring it back right now, but are in need of a few more staff members to help us out so we can successfully get magazine issues released for all the members here at SnitchSeeker to enjoy. If you think that you would have the time to help out and be an active member of the magazine staff, please submit an application via PM to the managers of SotS, Zoe (acciozo!) and myself (Loki).

When applying, please include the following:

• Name
• Amount of time spent on SS each day (estimate)
• Why you would like to work for Seeker of the Snitch

Writers

• Please write a small sample article about an important upcoming event on SS. Be creative!

Graphics

• Please include a small sample of your art with your application.

If you cannot choose which position you're best fit for, you are welcome to apply for both positions in the same application PM. The managers of SotS will decide on which section (graphics or writing) of the magazine we think you would be most helpful in.

The deadline for all applications is Friday, February 26. So get your applications in now before it's too late!

Just thought I'd point out that (not just for you but anyone), age isn't really a valid reason to not apply. If you have good spelling and decent grammar (so that we at least know what you're talking about, since there ARE editors), then age should NEVER be a factor! We're non-discriminatory based on age ;)

And as for two, you don't have to get on every day... A couple of times per week would suffice :yes:

But of course, number three, if you really don't want to, then I can't help you there. You do have to have some interest in it :D

Meh. I reeeeally want to apply, but its no good right now.

Final year at secondary school, final MONTHS at secondary school. How boring, how hectic. How much coursework? ALOT. Exams, yeah. Maybe I'll give it a miss.

Ok, newbiee to seeker of the snitch right here, but what exactly is it? *runs before im EATEN* :blush:

Hehe... No worries, we haven't had an issue in like ... a year, sooo it's understandable that you might not know what it's about. =)

With that said, Seeker of the Snitch is the Site magazine/publication , which gives stories and highlights of global site news (not limited to the RPs like the Quill, Yearbook, or Daily Prophet).

If you'd like to see an example of past publications then head to the SotS Notice Room and check out some of the past issues. Though an FYI, the July 2007 one doesn't work anymore, so the earliest one you could check would be October 2007 issue and later... :yes:

Uh...I can only either apply for writer or graphics-person, right? No editor-position or something, right? :erm:

So, as in somebody who proof-reads the articles and stuff...know what I mean? Yes? :erm:

You can apply for a graphics or writing position. If you're not sure which position you'd prefer, apply for both and Marie and I will decide on where you would stand best on the SotS team. At the moment, we currently have someone who does the proof-reading for us. So we're just looking for people who are good at making graphics and writing. :)

I was wondering were I can find out about the sites upcoming events ^.^

oh and for the events can we make them up or do they have to be real ones? It does say to be creative so I was just wondering
