Recent SS Downtime & New Chat Room (CHAT NOW OPEN)
 

Thank you all so much for your patience today during our maintenance issue. You were terrific and I hope you'll continue to enjoy your time here on SnitchSeeker. The maintenance took much longer than anticipated, but we were able to put up our new chatroom for members to use while the forums were down. Please feel free to continue to use this chatroom when it's open (open times will be sporadic for now).

Note: You must have Java installed and enabled to use the above link to the chatroom (this is different from javascript). You can also use MIRC or another IRC client installed on your computer. If not using the Java client that we provide at those links, you must configure it with your SS membername and SS password in order to connect to our IRC server.

You may also have trouble accessing the chat if you have odd characters in your username (such as asterisks, tildes, and parenthesis). PM me if you have trouble and I'll try to help you out (I'm changing people as I see them attempt to access the chat but, if I'm not in there at the time, I won't catch you).

Yeah! SS is back! That was a crazeh chat!
How was everyone getting colors? That would help to be able to tell people apart.

Haha, the chatroom was fun. That was such an awesome idea of having a chatroom while SS was down. way to go Kris and Kevin!:woot:

SS CHATROOM ROCKS! That is all. :P And of course, SS has been down so this provided solace for me as I chatted away with fellow SS'ers. :P Happily ever after for everyone! :D

Yay! I'm so happy that SS is back, but the chat room was awesome fun (I stayed there for about an hour today and had a great time). Thanks for making it available to us to pass the time!

Chat is good fun if you didn't have pressing SS matters to take care of.

Was this the first IRC chat server we had? That one was lots of fun with the trivia rooms.
I'll see what I can do to put some trivia rooms in this one.

It's great that we have a new chatroom. I remember the old chat, way back in the day...the one on the old site. Nothing could ever beat that ;)

It's actually the same IRC chat we had back then we just have to add back some of the features (like the trivia rooms, sounds, and smilies). ;)

We've also got more channels this time around so people can discuss HP, the School RPG, the Ministry RPG, etc without the total chattiness of the main SeekerChat channel.
