Welcome to August, Snitchseekers! The month of dread

. August means that school is just around the corner for many of our members; most of the summer is behind us, and soon we'll be returning to those hallowed halls to fill our heads with important facts and dates! Dates such as when Pakistan's Independence Day is celebrated (August 14). Also in this month, you may find yourself celebrating the ~~terrifying~~ National Clown Week (1st week of August), National Smile Week (2nd week of August), Herry Monster's Birthday (August 30), or if you're in for the long haul, celebrate National Inventors Month for the full thirty-one days!

Even if you don't observe any of those days, we've plenty of birthdays this month to look forward to!

On August 7th, Tailzinator will be celebrating her 19th birthday! Tailz is our School RPG Groundskeeper as well as Hufflepuff's Head of House and a Department Head in the Ministry RPG. Out of character, Tailz is a moderator in the Leaky Cauldron forum, the Room of Requirement, and an HH Mod. She's also the editor of the school's Quill! Happy Birthday, Tailz!

August 16 brings us another School Staff birthday, with Orchideae achieving 24 years of living! Jess is our newest Arithmancy Professor in the School RPG, as well as a Shopkeeper in Diagon Alley. She is also a moderator of the Fan Clubs, and a Magical Menagerie mod as well! Happy Birthday Jess!

Just two days later, on August 18, we'll all find ourselves lighting the candles for the 19th birthday of allucha! Ali is our Forums Manager, and a darn good one at that! Happy Birthday, Ali!

Birthdays come but once a year, and August 25 is the day that our awesome Mad Eye Touz celebrates hers! Touz is our amazing Site Manager. She's also the History of Magic Professor in our School RPG, playing the (arguably) strange and epic Anjelica Lainey. Happy Birthday, Touzie!

Last but not least we have demented_death_eater celebrating her birthday on August 29! Kay fills the position of Flying Professor in the School RPG, where she also runs Quidditch and is Ravenclaw's Head of House. She is also the Head of the Leaky Cauldron, and is a FanFic mod, as well as a Department Head in the Ministry RPG! Happy Birthday, Kay!
