Tasha entered the break room, scanning the place to see if there was anyone that she knew. Walking over to the tables she had her coffee already in hand it was in her favourite mug. Black with nice green Hearts all over it. Mark had given it to her. Tasha just sat there in her own little world.

Armen Recard had walked up to Level 3 to go get a cup of coffee and maybe a muffin or something and just relax but when he had been there a few seconds before, he had reached into his work bag for his favorite mug, and then found himself back in his office. Yes, the Portkey Division Head was fulled by his own portkey. After making sure to grab his real mug this time, he opened the door to the new breakroom to find it mostly empty except for a young blond witch sitting by herself drinking some coffee too.

"Oh hello there! How are you this morning?" he grabbed a muffin and poured himself some coffee. He didn't want to be awkward and sit at another table so he walked up to the woman and smiled. "Hello I am Armen Recard, Portkey Division Head. Do you mind if I join you?"

Finally someone walked in, Tasha wasn't alone any more. The man Introduced himself as Armen Recard. "Oh, things are going ok, How about you, and Im Tasha Starr, Muggle Worthy Excuses Committee Division Head." she said, everytime she introduced herself it was always a mouthful. "I wish my title was a bit shorter" once again she giggled.

"Well its good to meet you too giggly-Division-Head-for-the-Muggle-Worthy-Excuses-Committee-with-a-much-too-long-title." he shooker her hand up and down, like a child. She made him feel silly, and fun. "So how are you doing today?" he asked taking a bite of his strawberry muffin.

"Not to shabby, Just taking a break from my Division Its getting crazy in there and everyone is changing the color of their desks, Of course I left mine alone." as she took another sip of coffee.

"Like if I were that desk I wouldn't want to be changed into an Orange Desk, that wouldn't be nice now would it." she said laughing.

"Everything in the Minstry seems to be too quite, I sense something big about to happen, so Im trying to relax before the craziness starts" she said while nodding int Armen.

Mark hadn't seen Tasha all day! YES ALL DAY! and he really wanted to. He took the lift to the third floor and walked into the breakroom. There he saw his future Mrs Kensington. With a smile across his face, also noticing the mug he had got her, Mark went over. ''Hello stranger'' he smirked giving her a peck on the cheek. ''Just thought id give my favourite Tasha a visit'' Oh yes!

"Mark!" Tasha yelled while after he kissed her cheek she jumped up and gave him a hug. "Hows work going?" she asked while pulling out a seat for him. She looked over at Armen and started to Introduce Mark.

"Armen, this is my Husband to be, Mark. and Mark this is Armen, We just met actually." as she gave both of the men a smile.

"Mark, everyone on my level are changing the color of their desks. Its so much fun in there. But I didnt change mine. since everyone has changed their desk color's, I thought I would be different to keep mine as the orginal." she said while holding back yet another Giggle.

Twirling her hair around her finger, just like she did as a kid. She couldn't help but stare at Mark. He was so handsome! She reached over and took his hand. "Would you like some Coffee too?" as she waved her wand and made a cup with coffee in it appear.

Mark smiled, good greeting! ''Amazing thanks! hows yours?'' He was so proud that Tasha was Division head! she did a great job. Mark looked at the other man and smiled. ''Nice to meet you! Mark.. Mark Kensington'' he said putting his hand out for him to shake. Every Kensington had been brought up to be polite, yes.. even Eva!

Mark sat down on the seat Tasha had got him. ''Cheers'' He listened as Tasha told him about the desks! ''Aww thats cool! you should see mine.. i have offically bought a frame for that picture of us'' It was a cute picture, Mark was very fond of it. ''Eva was trying to plan our wedding'' he chuckled.. ''Beach wedding.. shes after'' trying not to laugh more.

COFFEE! Mark did love his coffee. ''Mmm thanks! '' he took the coffee and sipped it. Mmm!

"We serisouly need to start planning for everyone keeps asking me the date, and I always tell them that I don't know yet." Giggling. She couldn't hold back her happiness.

"and Armen, you are very welcome to come, Once we find a date that is" she said to the Man she just met.

"Mark, can we do something this weekend and just get away and relax?" she wanted to spend more alone time with Mark. For they are always busy and bearly see each other at the moment.

"Boys and their video games ahaha" they were mostly indoors playing video games or outside getting dirty.

"I would love it if you could pick me up, just give me like lets see... 2 hours notice so I can clean up a bit" she said while blushing because it didn't take her the full 2 hours to get ready but she had to slow her heart beat because she knew that Mark would be coming to get her. A nice breathing process would ensure that she would be okay and plus then she knew she was breathing.

oh, Mark had a question for her?..."what would you like to ask, Mark?" as her heart started to race again she took slow deep breaths, everytime Mark had asked her a question it was always something big, like him Proposing to her, that was huge.

"You never need long to get ready, I love when your hair is all messy" she said while running her fingers through his hair, messing it up even more.

MOVE IN! Tasha almost screamed in her own head. Omg, I was waiting for him to ask, hes soo sweet she thought. "Mark, I would love too, Wanna Help me pack my bags?.. It might take all weekend" as she gave him a playful wink. "I think Warren would love that I moved in, Is it bad that I like him the most."

Then she shivered Oh, no Ava. I hope Mark asked first she thought. Then she looked into his eyes and said "Does everyone aprove?" while givening him a raised eyebrow.

Armen smiled and nodded as Tasha talked about the craziness of her office recently. He took a sip of his coffee and then told of the things that had just happened in his department. "Oh well that sounds a little crazy." he chuckled. Different colored desks could be fun. "Well see we just got a new boss on Level 6 and we are thowing a party for our level and the other Division Heads and I were decorating the breakroom and a Poltergeist crashed in." he shivered. "I HATE ghosts and like. I had a...bad experience with one when I was young." he paused.

He then took another bite of his muffin, just as the breakroom down opened up, allowing someone who seemed very familiar to Tasha, to join them. He watched as the two people giggled and talked lovingly to each other, and his thought was confirmed when Tasha introduced the man to him. "Oh well nice to meet you Mark. And congrats on the engagement you two." he didn't know how long they had been engaged but he just found out about it so...

"Sunday too, you do spoil me Mark!" she said while laughing once again..

did Armen just say Ghosts? "Armen, why was there a ghost in your office that doesn't sound like fun at all" she said while giggling. Tasha was Always giggling.

"Mark, I brought some left over Pasta for lunch did you want to share?" she said while taking her container out of her lunch bag. While filling up her cup again with the flick of her wand.

"Last night, I went to watch a show, at the theater I was really bored. and you had to stay home." she pouted.

"It was ok, the food was great though, I love the muggle Nacho's with their melted cheese, what ever will they come up with next!"

hmm... Mark and Tasha should deffently go see a show when they both have time, More time with Mark was always good. Sometimes he had to stay home and watch the kids, even though sometimes she would join them, but she still had her Cat Jinx to feed at her own place. She didn't want to make that cat angry for he can be really spoiled.

Sam needed a break. B R E A K. Like right now. He didn't want to deal with paperwork in the office at the moment. And he most definitely did NOT want to deal with Daniel McDean. He had already been stuck in the elevator with him this morning and that was enough bonding with his brother for one day!

He headed into the breakroom with a cup of coffee and a copy of the Daily Prophet. He took a seat in one of the armchairs near the back of the breakroom, and then he sat his coffee on the nearest table before opening up the newpaper.

After giving up on all the hassle of sitting in her own cubicle, and attempting to eat lunch, Pippa had headed into the breakroom just to sit for now. To sit, unaccompanied and just relax while eating. She couldn't ask for anything more than that right? And she fully deserved it, after dealing with Cheeseball on numerous occasions. Bloody cheeseball.

After backing into the breakroom, opening the door with her elbow, and pushing it with her shoulders, Pippa groaned as she spilled a bit of boiling hot coffee onto her hand; but didn't squeal, surprisingly. Once finally in, and shutting the door behind her, she placed her wrapped up pumpkin pasty down on a table, and then the coffee, before shoving the area of coffee caused pain into her mouth. "Shoot." It hurt.

Sam was enjoying the quiet breakroom; it was soooo pleasant! He flipped over another page of his newspaper before reaching for his coffee. Just when he got a hold of his cup, he heard someone enter the breakroom. His first thought was that it was Dan coming to annoy him, so he didn't even attempt to see who it was. He took a sip of his yummy coffee, and then he heard someone say 'shoot'.

That voice was NOT Dan's voice! Thank merlin.

He lowered his newspaper to see... "Pippa!" He greeted her. Standing up from his seat, he walked over to where she was. "Long time, no... what's wrong with your hand?"

Coffee burns were NOT nice, and NOT appreciated by the blonde Divison Head. Taking the skin out of her mouth, she looked down to see what damage her daily drink had done to her precious hand. EEEEP. It was all red, and probably blistering or something, but you know, saliva covered a lot of things. And wiping it now would probably sting more. EEE.

Then as he name was called she sighed, thinking it was someone from level five coming to tell her Alyssa had blown something up, or was arguing with Malachi, or Sebastian, or maybe Pandora. If she had came back for stuff. Maybe. But it wasn't, and as soon as Pippa looked up, she saw that it was Sam and smiled. "Hey Sam! How are y- My hand? Oh.. Er. Coffee burn. I opened the door with my shoulder, jogged my cup, and then ouch." She shrugged.

Samuel wrinkled his eyebrows when he noticed how RED her hand was. That could not be good. Not good at all. It looked like it was burnt! And, of course, he was right. He looked at the woman when she explained how she had burnt herself with coffee. Wow, that's all he could say. "I guess you won't try opening a door like that again while holding coffee," he commented with a chuckle.

He placed his newspaper and coffee cup on the table next to what looked like a pumpkin pastry before pulling out his wand. "I think putting some cold water on it would make it feel better," he offered. "Unless the, uhhh, saliva made it better."

Pippa frowned as she noticed Sam looking at the redness of her hand, and then chuckled softly at his comment. "I guess I probably wont. I'll expect someone else to open doors for me now, especially when I have coffee." Now, to find that certain slave. Wouldn't take long, there were enough people around the Ministry. Maybe Che- Nope. Pippa was certain she wouldn't be able to stand being around him longer than thirty seconds. Exagguration.

Raising an eyebrow at his raised wand, Pippa then nodded. "Cold water. Yeah. Might help." Snorting a little at the saliva comment she shook her head. "Na, it just made it sting a bit more.."

"Perfect idea." Samuel would have opened the door for her if he had known she was coming, but it wasn't like he was a physic or anything. He twirled his wand around in circles as he took a look around the breakroom before looking right back at Pippa. What level was did she work on again? Level 5? That sounded about right. He was beginning to wonder why she had walked all the way here, but then he figured this was the closet level that had a breakroom. Weiiiird.

"Okay, here..." he said as he reached for the hand that was red. He moved her hand to where it was over the floor before he pointed his wand at it. He knew this was going to make a mess, but he could always clean it up before, you know, Wes showed up or something. It wasn't like he was throwing water at anyone, so if Wes DID show up, he had no right to put him back into time-out. Nonverbally, he casted Aguamenti, and then cold water came out of his wand and onto Pippa's hand.

He waited until it looked like enough water had hit it before he stopped the water and let go of her hand. "Done. Does it feel better now?" He asked as he cleaned up the water on the floor with a swish of his wand.

Laughing lightly, Pippa looked over at the door, and then over at her coffee and pasty, which were now accompanied by Sam's paper and coffee. "I think I'll hold slave auditions, I can probably find a few good slaves, make a rota. Depends how good they all are, or if they're cheeseball's." Like one person in particular. Who actually, Pippa was certain, worked on this level. She'd have to check up on that one, really, wouldn't she. Without him knowing, or having to come in contact with her. NO.

Closing her eyes, as Sam took her hand, Pippa almost winced as she knew what was coming, just didn't know when. That was the downfall of nonverbal spells, you never knew when they were coming. The sudden wince out loud did come as soon as the cold water came into contact with the burn on her hand, and accompanying it came a little squeak of pain, or from the coldness of the water. Through gritted teeth, she said: "That spell, needs a temperature adjuster, it's like ice at times." Frown.

But it was working, and once the water stopped it's contact with her hand, she opened her eyes and smiled up at Sam. "Alot better, thanks. Trust me, I don't burn myself often."

Luxa strolled into the Breakroom. "Ahhh. Everyone loves a nice break every once in a while." She said as she fell down onto a sofa. After about 15 minutes of relaxing on the puffy sofa, she stood up and walked to go get a cup of coffe.
"Now where can you find coffe around here?" She asked planning to go up to someone and ask. She had only been in the Breakroom once.

Slave auditions? Sam had NOTHING to say about that, except... "For the record, I'm not auditioning," he commented. NO. WAY. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the term 'cheeseball'. This woman was something, that was for sure. He has never, in his entire life, heard someone classify people as 'cheeseballs' if they're not good. "Cheeseballs?" He questioned. "I'm not a cheeseball, am I?" He just needed to make sure.

He placed his wand back into his pocket, and then he looked back at Pippa. "It was too cold? I'm sorry," he apologized. "I didn't think it would be ice cold..." Oops? Ah, well. At least she said it was a lot better now. That was good! "I'm very glad to know you don't burn yourself often," he replied with a wink.

He sat down at the table before asking, "So, Pippa, what have you been up to lately? I haven't seen you since...Diagon Alley?" That was a LONG time ago.

Pippa nodded once, and then giggled -something she didn't do often, so Sam was in luck- before speaking. "You know what? You would have made an excellent slave or door opener, Sam. I'm disappointed in your lack of ability to help a woman in need. Very shameful, very very shameful." The blonde grinned up at him, and then laughed once more. "Cheeseballs, balls of cheese. In people form, I tend to use the term cheeseball when someone has reeeeally cheesy chat up lines, or overall can't hold a conversation without saying something cheesy. So no, you're not a cheeseball, Sam." She smiled softly, and ran her un-burnt hand through her hair. Much easier.

He was apologising? Oh, how sweet of him. "No, no. Don't worry about it, Sam. I should have expected it to be cold, I don't think it was as cold as I felt it to be, when your skins burning you know, things are alot different when you feel them on that part of the skin, as to how they would feel elsewhere." And no, that wasn't saying she was okay with being soaked to test that small theory.

"Trust me, I don't think anyone banks on being burnt by an apparantly harmless coffee. The drink of torture that is." She returned his wink, and shrugged. Though, her point wasn't going to stop her from drinking it. Nuh-uh.

After deciding to eat her pumpkin pasty finally, Pippa took a seat, and gave Sam a smile, while unwrapping her late lunch. "Me? Oh well, I've been working... working some more... looking after a four year old still... working. How about you?"

Sam wrinkled his eyebrows. An EXCELLENT slave? He begged the differ. He might be a good doo-- NO. He was not even going to think about that. He'd open doors for woman because it was the right thing to do, not because he was a slave and HAD to do it. "I helped you when you were in need, didn't I?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. Last time he checked, he had. "Oh, good. I'm glad I'm not a cheeseball." He would NEVER EVER be a cheesball. Nope.

He nodded. "I see what you mean," he commented. He placed his wand back into his pocket before reaching for his cup of coffee. "Drink of torture? I like that." He took a drink of his coffee drink of torture, and then sat it right back down on the table. Ahh, refreshing!

"Working seems to take over your life," he pointed out the obvious. He leaned back into his chair and replied, "I've been good. Nothing really has happened...I mean, I work most of the week. So I guess I can compare to you." Yeahhh...

Pippa laughed lightly and shrugged. Sam did have a point, of course he did, but really? Really, really? "Technically I could have done it myself, but yes, you helped. But still, I could have done it myself, however opening doors with the drink of torture could prove fatal and I can't, wont be doing that again. So... I guess... Maybe." Long-windeed her answer may have been, but answering the question it did, and all through her answer, did she smile up at him, shrugging once more as she came to a finish.

"Mmmhmm. No, you're not a cheeseball. Just one person I've met so far. Noone you should know, I guess." Or maybe, it all depended, they were all Division Heads; were they not?

Sliding into the seat she had already almost claimed before burning herself, Pippa smiled and opened her pumpkin pasty, and then looked over at Sam. "It is rather creative, I don't think I'll ever call it coffee again." Well, that was until she left this room, and probably would get weird looks from people who 'weren't there'.

"You noticed?" Pippa chuckled, and ran a few fingers through the hair obstructing her face, and smiled approvingly. "I guess it does, after a while." Or so, she was presuming. The only other work she had done, was in Africa on the lion drive, and teaching out there. Surprisingly. "And how's Division Heading going for you?" It wasn't being harsh on him was it? Probably not, he was a male. He could deal. Right?

Sam had to agree with this woman. She COULD have done it herself, but he had been here and stepped in before she could do it. So, technically, he had still helped even IF she could have done it herself. "I still helped. There is no way around that fact, Pippa," he said with a grin. "And I'm happy to hear you won't be opening doors with the drink of torture, because if you do, I might not be here next time to help you." He had put a little bit of emphasis on the word 'help' just for the heck of it.

Oh, he was curious now. Quite curious. "And who is this person that is so special enough to be classified as a cheeseball?" He questioned. Not that he would probably know them or anything since he didn't know a lot of people off of Level 3, but he was curious, that's all.

"Rather creative indeed." He looked down at his cup of coffee. Drink of torture. Haha. Raising the cup to his mouth, he took another drink, and then placed it right back on the table.

"I've noticed, trust me. It doesn't really bother me, though." Sam shrugged. "This place never kept me as busy as working backstage at Broadway shows did." He couldn't think of any job that would keep someone night and day...and even on WEEKENDS to finish up things for an upcoming show. Not that he would ever go back and change things, because he loved working backstage! It was one of the best experiences in his life if not the best. "It's all good," he replied. "Nothing too bad. How's Division Heading going for you?"

Pippa nodded, raising an eyebrow at his persistancy that he had helped her. It was almost, cute. SNORT. "Mmmmhmm. If you say so, Sam. But I'm not so leniant towards the fact you helped, I could have done it myself, you just got there first. So was it really helping? Or were you just simply boasting that you could do it?" And if it was that, he was CERTAINLY going to get a slap, or a flick, or something. She hand't figured that out, just yet. Hehe. "And no emphasising on the word help, okay?" She giggled, lowering her eyebrow and settling to take a sip of her 'drink of torture'. It now, wasn't as hot as it had been. Thank merlin.

As if she knew he was going to ask that question, she started speaking as he finished his question. "Just some loser, that likes to call me gorgeous and stuff. His name's Dan. Works on this level, I thiiink." Something like that anyway. She wasn't 100% sure anyway. Why should she have been? It wasn't like Sam would know him. How mistaken she really was :P

Eyes widening at the mentioning of Broadway shows, Pippa looked at Sam and chuckled. "YOU worked backstage at Broadway shows? Seriously?" Some people were so lucky in life, so lucky and they didnt know it. Poop heads. HEH.

She shrugged once, and shook her head. "It's manic, I guess, one of the Division Heads, I just don't like at all, she asked me to call a truce with her, and our other Division Head, Pandora, well she's just left and now we have Malachi, he's nice I guess. I get along with him, just not Alyssa. She seems too ... flouncy and prissy, and unprofessional." And annoying, in general.

I was helping," he told her. "And what's wrong with putting emphasis on the word 'help'?" He saw nothing wrong with it. But his thoughts on emphasizes and whatnot were cut short by the next thing Pippa told him...

...DAN? As in Dan MCDEAN? As in his annoying brother Dan? Of course it was his brother because only his brother would like to call someone gorgeous. "He does work on this level." That was the only thing he had to say about that since he really didn't want to tell her that that cheeseball just so happened to be his brother.

He nodded. "I'm being serious," he replied. "I worked backstage for two years, and then I took the Division Head opening here." If he hadn't taken the opening, then he might still have been working in Broadway. Correction: He WOULD have still been working in Broadway.

"Pandora," he repeated. That name was ringing a little bell inside his head, but he couldn't quite remember where he had heard it from. Didn't she use to work on this level? Hmmm. "That name sounds familiar." It really really did.

He picked his coffee cup back up and took a sip. Once he sat it back on the table, he looked at his watch and said, "I should get going. I need to get back to the office. It was nice talking to you, Pippa." He stood up from his chair and got all his belongings together. "Bye!" With that, he headed out of the breakroom.

Lizasaurus 04-10-2010 09:17 PM

Walking down to the 3rd level, where she was told the breakroom was, Mackenzie steps through the door. Seeing many people in the room, she realizes how left out she feels, not knowing anyone.

Finding an empty table in the corner, she takes a seat and takes out her lunch. Taking a small nibble out of the corner of her sandwich she looks around at everyone.

FOOOOOOD.

Guinea!Sam ran right into the breakroom, knowing this was exactly the place where that delicious food spell was coming from! He knew he was right when he spotted a rather large cupcake sitting on top of the counter, and that's when he tried to stop himself from running so quickly, but then he realized that he hadn't been running across the breakroom... but sliding.

Wait, SLIDING? And he didn't have any brakes!

BAMMM!

He had hit the one of the walls of the breakroom.

Ouch.

By the time Ben reached the break room, he was in a full run. His tie was over his shoulder, his hair was a little blown back and part of his under shirt came out. Normally, Ben would have fixed this instantly. But considering the fact that as he looked around the room he spotted...

"THERE HE IS!" He launched the wand from his holster midswish as he shot a spell at Sam that would turn him back to a person. But, a, um. MAGENTA person.

EEEEEP! People were trying to hex him now! And all he wanted was a piece of that cupcake.

Guinea!Sam quickly made a run for it when a man ran inside the breakroom tried to hex him, and he ran right behind the large refrigerator that was located in the room.

HA! They couldn't get him now.

Running behind Ben, Daemon came into the room looking a little ruffled. When Ben tried a spell and FAILED, Daemon took out his own wand. Unfortunately, the pink fluffball hid behind the fridge.

Pursing his lips at this tedious task, Daemon flicked his wand to move the fridge out of the way and tried to shoot another spell at the fluffball once it was revealed.

Annabeth came running into the room, wand at the ready. I'mhereI'mhereI'mhere.
She shot an aplogetic look at Ben and mouthed "Cyrek." This was all this fault. Mr.
I'm going to run away from home and steal things from people. Geez. Made her late to work, that one did. NOT APPRECIATED.

She shot a spell at the Guinea- Sam, but narrowly missed as the darn thing moved.

I'm going to run away from home and steal things from people. Geez. Made her late to work, that one did. NOT APPRECIATED.

She shot a spell at the Guinea- Sam, but narrowly missed as the darn thing moved.

Stupid Rodent Man.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.

Guinea!Sam didn't know where to go once his hiding place was taken from him. He scurried away from the spell fired at him, and then spell hit against the wall where he use to be at.

Where to goooo?

He really wanted that cupcake, but these people were trying to kill him! So the cupcake was just going to have to wait until later.

Without hesitation, Guinea!Sam ran out the door and disappeared once more.

Hmm. Well, Sam was scared, obviously. Had anyone even tried TALKING to him? Maybe he could still understand English.

She'd try that.

She sat down on the floor opposite him, and put her wand pack in its holster.
"Sam," she said, her soft voice echoing in the room, "We're not going to hurt you. You're a magenta ginea pig right now, and I'm sure you'd like to return to your body."

AND THEN HE LEFTT?

Well, that was a waste.
Annabeth got back up off the floor, and raced after him.

OOC: Where'd hee gooo? The little rascal.

Urgh. Darn thing ran away again. When Annabeth tried to reason with it, Daemon couldn't help but laugh. He walked over to her and gave her a pat on the back. "Sorry he didn't listen, Anna." He chuckled some more before everyone ran out.

Well, FOLLOW.

Sam's in the Head's office. But our charries don't know that.

Once his spell missed and Sam scurried away, there was no getting him behind the fridge. But his team was shooting spells anyway. "Everyone, EVERYONE. Relax. It'll have to come out even-"

Sam ran right past Ben, at an angle in which he could get his wand right so he went right out the door. "Crap." He said. He then had an idea.

He looked at the try of cup cakes Sam was eating. Maybe he would come to them if they acted friendly to him. He walked over to it. "Alright. Everyone take a cupcake. Hold it out in front of you as you search for Sam. He may be attracted to it." He reached for the cupcake Sam was already nibbling and took it. he stood by the door and looked out. Level Three was big. He looked back. "Everyone knows how to change an animal back into a human, yes? So do NOT try and stun Sam or anything else. ONLY fire spells at him that would change him back to Sam McDean. Our spells to A LOT worse damage to small animals than people." He began to walk out. "Let's go."

Chad slipped into the breakroom. Yes, he had the cafeteria on his floor, but his department was on that floor too. He didn't want to make his employees attempts to find him TOO easy, now. A little bit of a challenge is good. Mhmmm.

With a mug of beautiful, glorious coffee in his hand, Chad took a seat at an empty table and looked around. Hmm, this place was nice. He could probably live in here.

Damien FINALLY sniffed out some coffee!! YAY! Leading the way into a breakroom he smiled softly and went straight to the coffee. *Twitch*

"So, Evander, what's your story besides being a Hit Wizard?" Damien asked as he DUMPED sugar and cream into his cup.

"Thats the majority of it." Evander made his black. And strong. Painfully so. He found a chair and folded his body into it, having to sit back a bit since his knees and the table weren't quite getting along.

"Undercover operations since I graduated. Started out doing the auror thing actually, then switched it up. I'd rather focus on criminals than dark wizards since, in my experience, not all of 'em are truly up to no good." Ahhh coffee. Thats what it was about.

Damien sipped his coffee and nodded his head. He reached up and loosened his tie then took off his suit jacket and rolled up his sleeves a bit. He was not into being formal all the time. It was not something he enjoyed... at all. He chuckled at Evander trying to win a losing battle with the table.

Nodding he said, "I went straight into training after I left school. Only Auror work though. I think it was all I ever dreamed of from the moment I learned Defense Against the Dark Arts." HE shrugged as if to say it was in his blood. He picked up a wand and knew he wanted to make the Wizarding World a better place. Simple as that. "Married, kids, any of that terrible stuff?"

"I had intentions on professional Quidditch when I left school. Got scouted, made reserve, played one game. Hated the bench and didn't much want to do my time on it see? So I enrolled in training the year after, and once I graduated went straight into undercover work."

Damned table. Giving up entirely, Evander scooted the chair back and kicked his long legs up to rest on the very corner of it.

"Nahh. Its a liability when you're undercover you know." Van grinned cheerfully, "And its nice not having to worry about the associated nagging. I'm not one for diaper changes either." He shot a glance towards the door, thinking about their division.

Yeah.

There would be poop and he'd probably have to deal with it.

Damien nodded. "I never was one for Quidditch. Love to fly, just hate the game... maybe it was all the rules. Being American I like full contact sports... Not being able to legally grab a bloke off of his broom and toss him around didn't appeal to me," he said with a light laugh. He did love American football. He played a bit casually. Good times.

"I hate children, personally. I think they are snivelling little brats that breath the life out of a person. I destest them. I came close to marriage once... thank Merlin I didn't go through with it though. Crazy old cow, she was. I think it best to be the eternal bachelor," he said with a cheeky grin.

Whether he really believed that or not he didn't know... He might settle down if he found a woman that could deal with his eccentricities and whatnot. Hard to come by it seemed. His line of work left a lot to be desired by women's standards. He was often gone quite a bit on missions and never really in one place long. One can dream of that one special lady though. Sigh.

"I played for the Montrose Magpies." Evander added. "Beater." As if there was any doubt. He LOOKED like a Beater. Van sipped at his coffee soundlessly. He could feel it like hot little pins biting at him from the inside out. It was that strong. And that good.

"So were you into Quodpot then? Got to say, I played a few times and the exploding ball really keeps you on your toes eh?" Good fun. Van grinned.

"Yeah? They're rather... small." Evander wasn't sure he hated kids, just that they were noticeably tiny compared to him. But then he was bigger than most adults to begin with.

As for settling down... "I can't say that I'm looking, the bachelor thing works for me and most women who come my way don't seem to mind. They get what they want and I get what I want." Made perfect sense. Relationships were only ever a temporary business transaction between two people anyway, so why not make it more temporary and more business in the same transaction?

Alex walked into the breakroom for the first time. She was astounded when she saw how huge it was on the inside, for it looked so small on the outside. She grabbed a cup of black coffee. Dark and bitter, her favorite.

Damien smiled over his coffee cup. Evander LOOKED like a Beater. Big bloke with the right build. Then he mentioned Quodpot and Damien REALLY smiled. "I was always quite fond of the game, yes. I do like just plain old American football also. Full contact is character building I think," he said before going back into coffee mode.

Children are small... Damien didn't so much mind the size of the nasty little things... they were just NASTY. Grrr.

Chuckling a little he looked at Evander and said, "That is certainly an interesting take on things. Relationships as business transactions. I typically don't stick around long enough for further business ventures." He smirked at this and dove back into the coffee. He checked the pocket watch in his waist coat pocket and could have groaned aloud.

"Does it feel to you that there is not a lot of work for us here?" he asked before he realized that someone else had entered the room.

"Can't say I've ever played, but I imagine it'd be my kind of thing." He'd always enjoyed working things out with his fists as a kid. Tackling was up there with that. Evander stood up and drained his coffee, then he spent a minute refilling his cup before sitting down again.

"I've found it better that way." Van agreed, purposely shutting out the thought of a few particular faces. In the long run, every relationship he'd been in had turned out a negative thing, a weakness. And Evander did not like to be weak.

"Its the strangest thing. It feels like a different world in here." He agreed. "No patrols or anything? No illegal potion rings to bust? No reported theft? Trust me, the criminal underworld ain't just laying low and keeping their noses clean and it'll suit them just fine that the kiddies are sitting down in their office patting themselves on the back and playing war games to pass the time." Evander took a long draw on his coffee.

Damien shook his head at the thought of not getting his hands dirty. He liked the gritty part of Auror work and did NOT enjoying sitting around waiting for something to happen. It irked him, it did.

Draining his cup he balled it up and unholstered his wand, vanishing the cup. With a deep sigh he wondered whether they should go back and join the others... he really wanted to wander around the Ministry, check things out. Realizing he was in his head too much and not speaking aloud he chuckled. "Yeah, I feel much more useful when I can say I actually went out looking for the bad guys...not sitting at a cubicle pushin paper," he said miserably.

"Hey wanna go wander around a bit? I think I need to see some more of the Ministry," he said with a sly grin.

"Why not? It'll be interesting to see how things have changed." A lot so far. Evander drained his drink and sent his cup back to his desk. It was his favourite one after all. Had a bunch of charms on it to let him know if anything he drank had been tampered with. Useful.

"Make our own patrol." He added, standing up and looking lively. Yes. Coffee was working.

Fatey :P

While the conversations that were going on back in Level Two were amusing, to say the least, Dorian had felt the need to get out. Only so much ignoring of the candy could happen, and he'd decided to take himself away from temptation. He'd never really beena big candy fan, but there had been chocolate in those baskets, and he'd always been aware of the pull it had on him. Maybe it was because certain kinds gave him almost the same buzz as his beloved espresso.

In any case, he found himself at the breakroom on Level Three, and wandered inside to see what was available. He knew the coffee cart elsewhere would be more likely to carry his poison of choice, but he didn't feel like going there. Besides, maybe he'd see people other than his own coworkers in the breakroom. He could always hope, especially since he kept reminding himself he needed to meet people. He couldn't always hide away, just because of his memories. And the few people he'd talked to so far had seemed okay.

Heading over to the coffee machine, he located a mug and poured himself some coffee. Black. The next best thing to espresso, unless it wasn't made correctly. Taking a sip, he shuddered a little. Not the best coffee he'd had, but he could make do. After an idle thought about if some firewhiskey would help, he scrapped that. Not while he was working. Instead, he waved his wand at the contents of his mug, then headed to a seat. At least with magic he could help the flavor a little, without risking impairment.

Fionn had to get some coffee. With everything going on upstairs, she needed a second to recoup. She thought doing some paperwork and meeting a few people in her department would happen. But no. Someone had to set loose all the bad nasty animals up there. Good thing she had dealt with more aggressive and deadlier animals. They didn't stand a chance. Once you wrangle with Werewolves, you can deal with anything. Well, with most.

Making a straight beeline over to the coffee coral, she twirled her wrist and placed her right hand on her left and moved it up, her signature candy cotton pink mug donning "Darcy" on it, appeared in her hand. Just her own personal magic. Her red painted lips broke into a smile and she poured in some black coffee. Looking around she got two Splenda sugars and emptied them in the mug and threw away the empty packets.

Raising her mug to her lips, she took a sip and looked around. She had to get out of her office, so to not get into anymore mess. So she decided to head South to Level 3. The breakroom was a lot less crazy and less populated. Then she spotted someone she knew.

"Fancy seeing you here Monsieur Tamerlane." She smiled up from her mug, walking over towards him.

Idly thinking about things, the duel of Sam's creation, the new people in MLES, and everything else, Dorian found himself wishing he'd brought reading material. Perhaps if he had, he wouldn't be forced to push back the other memories that kept wanting to come to the forefront of his mind. Even Watchmen would have worked, although he also had some Dickens up in his desk as well. But that was the problem, they were all cozily ensconced in oneof his desk drawers. And he didn't feel like trying to summon any of it, so he'd just have to continue exercising his ability at pushing the memories back.

Glancing over as the door to the breakroom had opened again, he raised an eyebrow at the familiar blonde who had walked in. When she'd beelined for the coffee, similar to how he had earlier, a faint smile crept onto his face. Only to be cemented there as he watched her conjure up her pink coffee mug. When she noticed him sitting there, he stretched out his legs a little. "I could say the same to you, Miss Darcy," he said, before taking a sip of his drink. Still not the best, but at least his spell masked the slightly acrid flavor. "I wasn't aware you worked here." Not that they'd discussed the almost banal topic of employment that time in the cafe. But he would have thought he'd have seen her if she'd worked there long. If anything, back when there had been the Ministry-wide mystery challenge.

Fionn had a feeling while she had walked down from her Department, she would have to deal with sitting alone in the break room. Having to deal with listening to other people talk and such. She was a fun and bubbly girl, but walking up to random people wasn't really her favorite thing to do. She was glad to see Dorian though. That way she didn't have to deal with said situation.

She smiled though and rounded to his table, noticing his long stretched legs. She wasn't that aware he was that tall. Well, from just his stretching she could tell. "Oh, yes. I work in the Department of Magical Creatures, Beast Division." She couldn't remember if they had discussed work the last time they met. Then again, she did have her whole shoe fiasco. Today at least she was wearing different shoes. Black suede stilettos to go well with her Kelly green trench coat, large black buttons and her red glossy lips. Hey, it was her signature look. She always got compliments back home in Ireland.

"Mind if I join you, Sir?" She took a sip. Bitter, but the way she liked it.

Dorian knew, as Fionn started heading toward the table he was at, that she was taking stock of the display his six feet two inches made stretched out as it was. It was an odd feeling, and he found himself sitting back again as she came nearer. At least, it felt more polite, although at least she was someone he had already met. He imagined it would have been even more awkward if it had been a stranger approaching his table.

He nodded as she addressed his question about her working here, before taking a sip of coffee. "Ah. Not exactly somewhere I would have expected you to be employed," he replied, before setting his mug on the table. "I'm Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Counterfeit Magic, specifically," he offered. "How are you finding things, beast-wise, so to speak. Anything exciting there?" Anything had to be better than what he'd been experiencing. Although Sam's attempt at giving them occupation had passed the time, now he was back to waiting for something to happen. He smiled slightly, though, at her question. "Feel free. At least it has to be better than both of us sitting lost in our own thoughts," he said, gesturing toward one of the empty chairs at his table. He wondered what they would end up discussing this time.

Fionn noticed him fix his posture after her bleak staring. Woops. Now she felt bad. He must think she was oogling. She just never noticed how tall he must be. She was probably still a foot shorter compared to him even with her pumps on. That's a bit of the reason why she wore heels everyday. To look taller than her normal 5'3 self. She always was teased during schooling, playful teasing, of course. They called her 'Little Fionn Elefina Elf' It was a nickname that stuck.

She smiled though and sat down across from him, crossing her legs underneath the table at her ankles. She kept her shoulders back and back straight. Proper manners and posture. She was raised well. She chuckled though at his comment on her job position. "Well, when you have an ex boyfriend who was a werewolf, you can handle any type of beast you get thrown at you." Did she really just bring up her little slip of dark past? She smiled lightly and took another sip of her coffee. Thank the heavens for lipstick that didn't stain her mug. One piece of magic she loved. "Oh? How is your department? Is it all paperwork and interrogations?" She had heard something like that. Unless it was just a little mix up.

Dorian raised an eyebrow momentarily as Fionn took his offer, and sat down across from him. Yet again. It was like they were developing a habit of having a table between them, but he was more intrigued by her obvious habit of keeping perfect posture and all. He'd never seen someone quite so proper, but then it hadn't exactly been like he'd been spending time with aristocrats lately. Not when he'd been traveling chasing Gabriel, and even now, he still tended to stay to himself more often than not. Starting to work here had begun to relax him a little, but he knew he still had a long way to go.

The eyebrow didn't relax, however, as she spoke. "A werewolf ex-boyfriend," he repeated, curiously. That sounded like a story, possibly to match his own. Although he'd wager there was less insanity involved. And he wasn't about to talk about his own past any time soon. Unconsciously mirroring her tactic of taking a drink to disguise the awkward pause, he grinned as she finally changed the subject to his department. "Oh, right now I think some of us would be thankful for even paperwork. We're generally looking for anything to do, since it's been oddly slow. Not too many interrogations either," he said. Unless you wanted to count ben and his ridiculous tests. Random trivia didn't help when it came to law enforcement, unless it was just to exercise the brain. But there were so many other ways to accomplish the same goal.

Fionn sat with perfect ease, keeping herself in perfect straight posture. She noticed his sudden quirk of an eyebrow at her. She smiled and mentioned, "My parents were in the upper class back when I was a little lass. I had to be taught manners and such to attend all of the parties and galas." She had only liked going to the art exhibits though. Parties were too.. conniving for her taste. She just wanted to go see art. But, she did miss her parents. May they rest in peace.

She nodded over another sip over her coffee. She didn't want it getting cold. "Yes. You could imagine my excitement having to deal with a pack of rough and tough guys all the time." She rolled her eyes and chuckled. Those days were a dime a dozen and she doesn't particularly miss them. "It was a bit of why I wanted to work with Magical Creatures here. To obtain them so they don't hurt anyone." Like her. She smiled though, keeping everything seemingly light in her expression.

"Oh. We've been having a ruckus upstairs. Animals out of their cages, people getting cuts and bites. I would be happy with paperwork." She giggled and rested her hands, folded, on the table.

As it seemed Fionn had noticed his little almost unconscious indication of interest, Dorian nodded as she explained her posture. Then he laughed, a little sarcastically. "Sounds like fun," he commented, before taking a sip of his coffee. Parties and such had never been his thing. He'd always been more of the type to be out getting into trouble with Gabriel, exploring and the like, even when they'd been little. Which had made recent events even harder. At least she seemed amused by the conversation, he could distract himself by that.

At her comment about the werewolves, he grinned a little. "Sounds like a lot of the guys around here," he commented dryly. "But that seems like a noble cause. Similar to how I ended up here, really. Wanting to keep people from experiencing the darker side to life." And that was about as close as he was coming to opening up. he wasn't sure he could say much more about the subject anyway, without being transported back in his head. There seemed to be a bit of a hidden meaning to Fionn's words as well, which made him wonder how similar they might be. In some way. But her joking comment about the events on level four made another smile come to his face. "Interesting. We've had our department head transfigured into a magenta guinea pig, and then a departmental duel for amusement, that ended with us all receiving candy. That's the extent of our excitement." Made him wonder about the other departments, though. What might be occurring there.

Fionn smiled and rolled her eyes at his comment. No, not fun at all. "Oh hardly. I went through that teenage angst and rebellious phase and ended up destroying a party once." But she didn't go on to tell him about how her werewolf boyfriend started turning during the party. Somethings were just meant to stay hidden. As much of a blessed childhood she had, she always wished it wasn't so.. they way it was.

She conjured a sugar packet with a snap of her fingers and began pouring it into her cup when he told her his reason for joining the ministry. She looked up and saw a glimmer of a shadow in his eye and she cleared her throat before taking another sip of her coffee. "Well, dating isn't really my thing anymore. Troublesome, tiring, and I don't want to break off another engagement." She bit her painted lip and thought of how it all ended. It was for the better, but it still hurt sometimes. "Dealing with creatures most of the time helps though. Dragons, Centaurs, Werewolves. It does put a damper on when I try to work with humans, but I'm fine with it." She was trying to be funny, but fell flat, she thought.

After he talked about the going ons in his department she let out a small melodic laugh. "Wow, sounds like a party." She joked, a small smile on her lips. She couldn't really tell why, but she enjoyed his company.

Dorian leaned back in his chair again, coffe cup in hand, as Fionn spoke of her childhood. Or however she would refer to the topic. It seemed a bit tense, at least. Although she seemed amused as well. "I think everyone goes through that phase. Some more impressively than others," he observed idly. Of course, his own rebellious phase had ended up spectacularly backfiring on himself, although he'd been past teenage. He wasn't about to ask about why she'd destroyed a party, for that very reason. He understood people not wanting to talk about things from their past.

He couldn't say he knew why she'd changed the topic to dating, though. Not when the comment she was responding to had been about himself and the Ministry. It added a certain intrigue, that he wasn't about to address. Not really. Sipping his coffee, his grey eyes watched her for a second. "Broken engagements are never nice. I would imagine," he observed finally. And that was it, since once again it seemed they'd encountered a sticky topic. "I've never been very good with creatures, myself. Except for Lorelai. But I can deal with humans. So it seems we've ended up where we should be," he commented, with a bit of a smile. At least the last part had been a joke, although not so much the rest. He really wasn't good with animals.

At least his comment about the events on level two seemed to have entertained her, and he found her laugh was nice to hear. Kind of musical. "Kind of a dangerous party, if you knew some of my coworkers. But I guess it was entertaining," he said, before taking yet another sip of coffee. He was finding her quite easy to talk to, even though he wasn't opening up. Not entirely. He was beginning to think that part of himself was locked away for good.

Annabeth walked into the room. She had never had any reason to be up here in this Breakroom.. .but it was for all employees. So why not check it out?
She adjusted her tweed hat, and poured herself some coffee. It was nice up here, quiet.

She could get used to this.

Coffee cup in hand, Nikos strolled into the breakroom. The magical creatures infesting had the whole creatures office busier than ever. So suffice to say that he needed a break, and coffee.

Walking over to where the only other occupant of the room stood, he gave her and easy smille. She looked familiar. "Hey."

Annabeth looked up a the sound of a vaguely familiar voice. When she saw its owner, a wide smile broke across her face.
"Niko! Hello."

She paused, and studied his face. He didn't seem to remember who she was.

And she didn't expect him to. They had met almost a year ago in Diagon Alley. She winked. "Annabeth Lourdis."

He was certain he knew her, because she had known him....or his name atleast. He wasn't well known around the Ministry so he must have met her before. Maybe she used to work with him on the fourth floor...

The man was mentaly guessing her name when she offered it to him. Grinning sheepishly at his failed memory, he nodded. "Yes, Annabeth. Now I remember." The job was really starting to get to him. "How have you been?" He hadn't seen her since....he first moved to London. Seemed like ages ago now that he thought about it.

Annabeth's eyes crinkled warmly at Niko's discomfort. "I've been lovely," she said. Which was partly true. But, eh. "And you?"

In truth, she had missed seeing Nikos. When she had spoken to him in Diagon Alley, it was like a part of her was connected to home, alive. It was hard to find that anywhere. It was also very rare, from what her mother had told her.

But that was just superstition and muck, yes? Yes.

"That's good..." He responded while pouring himself a cup of coffee. He wished he had kept in better touch with her, but the job and home life had kept him at a distance with his new friends. "I've been well. Settled in nicely since out last meeting."

Taking a sip of his coffee, he took a seat on the near by couch, easing back into the chair as he glanced up at her. "Remind me, what department do you work in?" Darn that memory of his for forgetting everything that had been said when they first meet. Of course she could have changed departments since then, he had changed divisions.

She sat down in a chair across from her friend. After he spoke about how he was, she scanned his face. Something could've been amiss there..

But she dismissed it. If he didn't want to tell her, she wouldn't push. "That's wonderful, got a flat and everything?" She mentally slapped herself. Of course he had. It had been over a year. It's not like he had been out on the streets causing trouble, because if he had, MLES would have picked it up somewhere.

She then laughed lightheartedly at his memory. Boy, was it a bad one. "Law Enforcement, the enforcement squad." She had finally gotten used to the place, just as the action slowed down. Bugger. It would pick back up during the school term though, she'd be ten Galleons it would.

Taking a long sip of his coffee, he nodded his head. "With a friend not far from Diagon Alley." Speaking of, he needed to stock up on supplies for Kat and thier pets. Maybe he would stop by her floor before heading back to his own. Hmm. "What have you been up to since I last saw you?"

Law Enforcement, that's right! They must be as busy as his own department was what with all the crazies running around London. "All is well on the second floor I hope?" Hogwarts let out soon didn't it? They would be busy soon if they already weren't.

Violet was taking another break. Things always seemed to drain her while at work...I mean don't get her wrong Vi LOVED her job, but after a day of just paper work and answering the cries of forgein countries Violet just needed a minuet to herself. She grabbed herself a bup a coffee and made her way to a empty table with the daily prophet in her hand. She was ready for a nice relaxing half hour break before she went and answered the cries of the Goblins in Nepal. Violet pulled a chair out of her self and took a deep breath and sat down.

"Well, well!" Asher called out as he entered the room. "It's the woman who ran into me earlier this week." He chuckled as he got himself a mug of coffee in his purple coffee mug his sister had made him all those years ago.

"How's it going today Violet?" Ash asked her as he turned around from the coffee station and headed toward her table. He pulled out the chair across from her and sat down. Her name was Violet, right?

Violet almost blushed, she had nearly knocked this man down the last time she came in contact with him. Clearly he had not forgotten about it, but he didn't seem mad either. "Hello Asher." Violet responded and put down her Daily prophet. It was rude to read the newspaper while she had company. "I'm doing fairly well. Kale's back from Hogwarts now, so things are pretty busy at home to." Violet wondered if she had ever told the man about her son. She couldn't remember so well.

Asher chuckled as he took a sip of his coffee and smiled back to Violet. "Kale, a brother?" Asher questioned her in a light conversational tone, he wanted to get things straight before he got confused. Because that happened quite often. Very often. "Sounds like you and I both are busy with the homecomings of family." Asher told her nodding his head a couple of times. "My sister just came home lastnight from a year in Greece." He shared with her.

Violet smiled at Asher, he was rather cute, Violet thought her self, but to her dismay he was engaged. "No Kale is my son, he just finished his fourth year at Hogwarts." Violet had gave her age away again by telling Asher how old her son was. She often got looks when they found out how old her son was. But Violet wasn't embarassed anymore. After pretty close to 15 years, the fact that Violet had a child young was her business and her business only. "Well that's great that your sister is home. I take it the two of your are close." Violet wasn't sure what else to say becuase she didn't know him very well....yet.

Asher could feel his ears turn red. "Oh, I'm sorry." Asher said getting quiet. There was a reason why he had asked...so he could get it straight now...and then forget later. That's how he and his brain worked. "Fourth year." Asher repeated quietly while nodding his head. Violet was suddenly a role model for him. If he had calculated correctly, she had Kale when she as young, and that made Asher giver her a lot of respect. Oh, they were back to the topic of Zi. "Yes, very close." Asher said nodding his head lightly before taking another drink of coffee.

"Oh please don't be sorry, most people who mett me do not expect me to have a son so old." Violet smiled, Kale would be angry if she heard people apologize for him. Kale was proud of his mother, "I wish I had siblings that I was close to! I have and two older sisters and one younger sister. But lets just say we don't get along very well." In fact Violet couldn't even remeber the last time she had talked to Rose or Lily and Iris only sent and owl once a month if that. "If you can image we are all named after flowers." Violet smiled she always thought it was interesting with her family, all the girls were often made fun of for it when they were much younger.

Asher nodded his head, though he still wanted to say he was sorry. Because, he was, it felt bad for mistaking her son as her brother. But alas, they had only met briefly a few days ago. So anyone could have made that mistake, right? Right. "I have three, well, two. But I consider the other a brother as well. There's Ziva, the baby, and then Devon who is a cousin who I've brought up along with the others, and then Corbin." Asher paused to take a drink of coffee. "I've raised all three, and we're oddly close." Asher told her, half hoping she wouldn't ask the reason for having to raise the three. "Well, flowers are quite nice." Asher chuckled.

Violet thought briefly about the fact that he had to raise three children that were not his. Maybe if she got to know him a little better the story would be told. "Well I couldn't image raises three! My one was a hand full." Violet remembered Kale's terrible twos and how the lasted untill he was at least four. "I always wanted more children, but my husband passed away before we are able to have more." Violet felt proud of herself, she had mentioned Corey and had not even teared up, she hadn't been able to do that before. She took another sip of her coffee, "So it's be just me and Kale for the last ten years." Violet couldn't believe it had been ten years already since Corey died.

"It had it's ups and downs." Asher chuckled. Remembering the time that Ziva refused to go to bed until the cat was washed...and it was Asher who had to wash it. They had never seen the cat since, but it was a memorable experience...both painful and enjoyable to see her laugh considering the current situation they were going through. "They were behaved as they could be." Asher admitted, the Holdens had always been a very well behaved family. And even Devon, who was a distant cousin was still very well behaved. "Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss." Asher told her in a comforting tone. At least she had Kale though, to hold on to when the going got tough. Just like how he had Ziva and the boys. "But it sounds like you and Kale are doing well." Asher pointed out before taking another drink of coffee.

"Well it's great that you have some one as well." Violet finished her last sip of coffee and considered getting a new one. "Yes Kale and I have managed so far." Violet hadn't talked so much about Corey since before he had passed away. It felt good to finally be able to talk about him with out crying. "It was pretty rough the first two or three years after Corey passed, but we got accostmed." Violet smiled, "This may seem forward and please don't take it the wrong way, it's just I haven't had anyone to talk to expect a my son the last few years." Violet took another deep breath, this was it. She hadn't done this is in years. "Would you like to join me for lunch. Just as friends." Violet added the last bit knowing he was engaged or at least in a relationship.

Asher nodded his head as he took a large drink of his coffee. He sat his cup down and flicked his tongue out of his mouth a few times. "Hot coffee." He chuckled, he hated burning his tongue like that, that's why he had always sipped his coffee...he just got distracted talking about family and took a large drink.

"I imagine." Asher told her, he knew what it was like losing family. He lost both parents at the same time...literally, LOST. "You're a tough woman Violet, and I have a high regard of respect towards you for that." Asher told her patting her hand gently. Asher already felt like he was a brother to Violet and this was only their second time meeting. Violet was yet another special woman in his life along with his mother, Maudi the maid, Chloe his fiancé and of course Ziva his little sister.

Asher gave her a warming smile and nodded. "I'd love to have lunch with you." Asher told her, he would never turn down someone who wanted to talk, especially someone like Violet who was willing to talk about something so hurtful to her. "As friends." Asher chuckled with a smile patting her hands again.

Violet let a out a sigh of relief..well at least she was turned down. Violet wasn't sure she would be able to handle that. Even though she wasn't looking for anything more than friendship she still didn't think she could handle rejection. That's probally why she hadn't made any new friends or had any boyfriends since. "That's great. Where would you like to eat lunch?" Violet was trying to think of all the places in Diagon Alley that they could eat lunch. "Would it be too much to ask if my son joined us?" Violet didn't want to push the matter, but she thought it would be best for Kale to get out and meet new people as well. Even if it was just a friend from work.

Lunch, lunch. Home. No, too soon to bring a friend home for lunch, it'd be weird. And Ziva was going through one of her moody moments again about their parents, so that would definitely not be good to bring home guests unplanned. Muggle place wouldn't be a good idea either. And, though he didn't want to go to the Leaky now the kids were out for summer, Asher knew he'd end up choosing the Leaky anyway. "How about the Leaky?" he asked her before taking a sip of his coffee again. "Oh, sure! Bring Kale." Asher exclaimed, he was starting to get anxious for this lunch now, but it was a good anxious. "How about we meet at eleven thirty later?" He asked, though he was pretty flexible with time.

Violet smiled and nearly jumped out of her seat she was so happy. "Sounds great, I'm sure Kale won't want to stay long. Spending the day with his mom probally isn't his favorite thing to do." Violet giggled and then got up from her chair. "Well then I will see you at 11:30" Violet smiled one last time and then returned to work!

Asher stood up when Violet jumped up suddenly. He reached down and picked his purple mug up from the table as he scooted the chair in with his leg. "That's alright, it'll be great to meet the boy." Asher said nodding his head as he headed to the door behind Violet. "Yes, 11:30 it is." Asher nodded as they went their separate ways.

Ariadne Fischer walked into the break room. She was hoping to see a few people she knew on her Level, but no friendly faces so far.

Alex walked into the break room and needed a coffee. She got a coffee and her homemade biscotti, an Italian coffee cookie, and sat down. She waved to Ariadne, whom she knew.

Ariadne waved to Alex. She had met Alex a few days earlier, in the work cubicles. She grabbed a coffee and doughnut and came to sit with Alex.
Hi Alex, how are you? she asked.

" I am good, very busy though." she said. She took a sip of her coffee, mm coffee. "I wish they had espresso here." she said. "it is just great!" she added. "How are you?"

Bambi walked into the break room feeling tired and nervous. Despite having worked in the ministry for several months she still didn't know many people here. She looked around the room for a familiar face and unsurprisingly found no one. Sighing she sat down at an empty table, trying to look invisible. The others around her were chatting pleasantly but she was alone... as she had been since school. She shook her hid to rid herself of that thought as it brought back unpleasant memories, taking a sip of her coffee she pulled a copy of Time magazine, a muggle magazine to which she had become addicted to in her years living in the muggle world, out of her bag and began to read.

"Mmmm.... Expresso!" Ariadne exclaimed. "Yum. Have you heard of a muggle place called Starbucks? I go there a lot, they have the best cappuccino!" Ariadne hated making small talk, though she was surprisingly good at it.

"Hey, did you see that girl walk in?" Ariadne asked. "I don't want her to be alone; I didn't want to when I was new here. Remember, you came and talked to me? I think I'll go meet her, you should come!" Then Ariadne left the table and walked over to the unknown girl

"Hello!" said Ariadne. She had brought her donut and coffee over to where this girl was sitting; She was eager to make new friends. "I'm Ariadne; I work in the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committtee," she blabbered. "What division are you in?" Ariadne didn't think to pause to let the other girl talk, she wasn't anywhere near finished. "Ooooohhh, is that Time magazine? I read that all the time! What's in there today?" Ari finally pulled herself together, and paused to sip her coffee while waiting for the other girl to speak.
