Conference Room

Welcome to Minister Reagan Taylor's Education Fair! Minister Taylor hopes that in holding this Education Fair, employees within the Ministry of Magic will be better equipped for the challenges that face them in today's wizarding world. In just a few moments, Minister Taylor and Senior Undersecretary Carlton will be in to make an opening speech. In the meantime, please feel free to chat amongst yourselves while you wait for things to get underway. Refreshments have been provided and are available in the table towards the back of the room.

OOC: You may go ahead and roleplay you character arriving for the "Job Fair," however, things won’t get underway until Tuesday, April 13.

Agatha arrived at the conference room and noticed that she was the first to arrive. She selected something from the refreshment table and took a seat.

Benjamin walked into the conference room with a big grin on his face. This event was the perfect thing for Ben to show that he was right for Division/Department head in the MLE. And he had it in the bag. Ben had been doing this stuff since he was four. He looked around and didn't notice anything strange. It just looked like the other conference rooms.

Sebastian walked into the conference room, very carefully keeping the skip out of his step. He was really looking forward to this moment. And was glad that the education fair was finally here. He looked around the room, to see who he recongnized, one of them he knew was an employee on Level 5, but their name was slipping his mind for the time being. He'd remember it later. But he waved at the lady all the same. The other person that he recongnized was one of his division heads, Alyssa.

"Hi Alyssa," he said, walking over to stand beside where she was sitting. "How are you?" he asked, before looking at the woman sitting next to him, and trying to recall if he had met this person yet. Nope, don't think so, he thought. "And hello to you as well," he said to the current stranger.

As he was standing there, he noticed that another person from Level 5 had walked in and he waved at her in greeting as well.

Nessa arrived and looked around curiously. The whole situation was strange, nevermind the fact that none of them knew what was going on. Well, not in-depth anyway. Minister Taylor sure did have some funny ideas. They'd just have to wait and see what happened.

Helena looked at the man who waved at her. She recognised him as someone from Level 5... A division head. Possibly the department head. She smiled at him and gave him a nod of her head in greating before looking away from him.

Stepping into the conference room, Mackenzie looks around. She still feels quite out of it, not really knowing anyone yet...but maybe this fair will help her meet new people.

Annabeth bustled in, nose in a book. when she heard voices, she looked up. Oh, she must be here. Annabeth was really excited to do these challenges, ACTION!
She smiled when she saw Ryan, and took a seat next to him, but not before grabbing a very large cup of coffee. Coffee first, then people.

"Hi," she said, sitting down.

"Hello Mr. Bailey! How are you doing! I'm really exicted for this!!" Alyssa smiled at her department head. She hadn't have much of an opportunity to get to know Mr. Bailey, but she liked him for what she knew of him. "So how do you like being the Department head?" Alyssa was interesting in getting to know him.

DH stepped into the conference room looking around for people whom he know of personally. He then decided to sit near the door in hopes of bumping into the people he knew about.

Ryan looked up at the familiar voice only to see his friend Sir Gawain the Gryffindor Knight. He smirked at the other man widely indicating him to sit down next to him. ''Same goes for you Gawain. Good thing you have decided to come, this could be a nice try out for what we will be doing soon'' he looked around then back at the man ''Ooo there are beautiful women around. Look! Look!''



And one of them was right next to him right now. As the man realised that he wished that she had not heard his previous sentence that he adressed to Gavin ''Hi, Annabeth. It's nice to see you around. I suppose you have come to use your MLES employee's skills''

Having got a glass of water, Olivia had found an empty seat and parked her weary bum on it.She'd already done a fair bit of cleaning that morning, and in truth needed the rest.Bring her cup up to her lips, she spotted a familiar face over the top of it.

Smiling as the woman came across, Olivia shifted in her seat to turn and look at her. "Alyssa, hello! I'm not doing great, recovering from flu," she rolled her eyes to express how annoyed she was about that, before regaining her composure. "But how are you? Things going well on Level 5?"

Even through her fluey haze, Olivia could spot a nice man when she saw one.And one was heading right for her and Alyssa.Taking another gulp of water, she listened as he spoke to her former employee.Hmmm, he seemed to know her....boss maybe? Olivia had heard a new Department Head had started down there.

She smiled broadly when he addressed her, and stuck out her hand in greeting. "Hello, I don't think we've met.Olivia Hawthorne, division head of maintenance.Nice to meet you, Mr....?" Blond hair, nice man.Noooo, that couldn't be his name.Get a hold of yourself.

Annabeth smiled. She hadn't really been paying attention earlier. Too absorbed in her coffeeeeeeeeeeeee. "Wha..?" she blinked. "Oh yes, it'll be nice to have something entertaining to do, not to mention the challenges."

Catching sight of his boss file through the gather crowds and past him towards the front, Gavin offered him a polite nod in acknowledgement before turning his attention back to Ryan. "Oh really....well we shall see about that," he replied neither of them obviously having any clue what would be instore for them unless Ryan did as a division head.

Taking the offered seat beside the older man, he nearly rolled his eyes at his comment but kept it to himself. "yes perhaps there are," he added reminded of Calla saying she might check the fair out as he and his flatmate were joined by one said woman. Glancing away to give them some privacy to chat, catching sight of Sam joining the room as well.

"Things are pretty good on level 5." Alyssa smiled at her former boss. She always liked her and they got along just fine while she worked there. "I miss level 8 every now and then though! We were all pretty close there." Alyssa took a sip of water. "I just had my baby boy." Alyssa added, she forget to tell Olivia that her son was born already. Alyssa hadn't much opportunity to talk to anyone but her division lately.

Seb smiled as another one of the Department Heads walked into the room. He waved to Wes as he walked up towards the front of the room, deciding that he would join him momentarily.

"I'm pretty good, are you excited for the education fair?" He asked slowly because if he talked the way he was feeling currently no one would be able to understand him. "Yes, I am quite enjoying it. There's a lot of things to keep me occupied," he informed her with a smile. "Are you enjoying the switch from level 8 to IMC?" He asked the division head.

"Very nice to meet you Olivia," He said, not telling her his name quite yet. He could be quite observant when he wanted to, and she really was quite pretty. "I would be the one that stole Alyssa here," he said, pointing to the lady sitting down beside him, "from your level. I'm sorry about that, but she really is an amazing worker." He smiled at her, and looked at her eyes intently for a minute before shaking his head mentally and said, "my name is Sebastian Bailey, I'm the IMC Department Head."
