"Will you be quiet???" Ben said getting annoyed with this lady. He was trying to think. When he finally had a strategy he realized everyone else had left him. Okay, then... Ben charged at his attacker growing a few gobstones at her face before stabbing the mid section of the lady with the handle of his broom.

Laura stepped in for the next the task.And it was all plain and wooden and then she sat down on a ricktey chair and looked up just in time to listen to man in front of them from the mirror and then began to listen to him.

She watched his movements with his broom carefully and nodded as he continued to speak about gobstones and magic paper.
She got up and took the parchment in her hand and read and scanned it quickly before the parchment bursted into pieces.

She looked around and walked towards the broomstick nearby and ran her hand over it.It had been so long since she rode one.A small smile crept her face
an obstacle?...hmmm... she thought looking around again and looking at the magic paper and the gobstones near by.

Darius hurried through the next room his eyes searching for his next instructions. He hadn't realized just hot long this was taking, he should be finished by now, but it was fun in a way. He was learning about his new place of business and meeting new people along the way. Ari would be proud of him, but jealous as well since she couldn't do all the things he'd been doing. But he'd fill her in on the journey home no doubt.

But for now he needed to get through this next task. Listening to the portrait of the Department Head, a man he had only heard of he frowned. Standing form his perch on the chair he picked up the parchment, his eyes scanning it quickly before nodding simply, allowing the parchment to drop before exploding allowing some ash to fall onto his suit. Meh it'll come out he mused as he looked around looking for the tools he needed. Taking out his wand he moved it into the pocket inside his jacket so it wouldn't come flying out when he was doing whatever.

With that done, he walked over to a broom picking it up and moving it in his hands, feeling the sleekness of the wood. Gathering a few gobstones in his right hand, he was secretly glad he had played baseball all those years ago. His aim as nearly perfect. "Alright, let's do this." he said in a oddly calm voice.

Lucia turned the key and proceeded into the next challenge room. She was rather surprised to have gotten this far. She tilted her head to the side as she listened to the instructions, this one looked difficult too. Grrrrreat. 'Broomstick. Magical Paper. Gobstones.' Her mind repeated the words, this would be very hard without a wand...

She hadn't noticed the beat up walls immediately when she first entered the room, but began to glance around at her surroundings for a moment before taking a look at the peice of parchment. She read it quickly then threw it forwards as it exploded into a puff of purple smoke. Lucia walked forwards and picked up a broom, a peice of magical paper and a couple of gobstones. She sighed heavily then turned around to face her obsticle.

Walking into the room, still jittery over that fake blood and still feeling a little embarrassed by that fact, Lilah looked around, immediately sitting in a chair when told to. Wait, she knew that man! Oh, wow, she actually knew someone's name! That was like, a miracle! Rex Vindictus, was it not? Listening to him speak, her eyebrows started to raise higher and higher at each passing minute. Well, she never knew how...dangerous some games could be. Who would want to be attacked by gobstones?!

Reaching out to take the paper, so Mr. Vindictus didn't have to reach too far, the icy blued eyed woman read through quickly what was written on the paper. They had to find an obstacle in this room and there was no magic allowed? Seriously? Wait...what?! Looking up to the man, Lilah was just about to ask something when the paper she was holding actually did explode into tiny purple sparks. "Ow..." she hissed quietly, waving her hands around. Sparks may be pretty, but sometimes they did hurt.

Slowly standing up from her seat, she looked around. Unsure of what to do. There was nothing in this place! Just people and....and a picture frame. Was THAT supposed to be the obstacle? Whaaaa?

Ronan was getting irritated by nobody wanting to work together to get past this but just to attack the man in their way by any way necessary.

He tightened his grip on the broom in his hand incredibly ignoring the gobstones since the man had called him out on them being in his pocket. Turning to the other men, Ronan arched his brow. "Shall we get to it then?" he asked lifting up the broom and stepping forward to try and attack the arrogant man before him.

"Well, I couldn't help it," she purred and was momentarily distracted by the other man (rubindo) who started throwing Gobstones at her. "Will you desist? " The stones clattered on the floor around her. Did he realize that the other man (Cinn-O-Bun) was between them? Probably not. I'll deal with him once I'm finished with this one.

Suddenly, Xylia caught a sweeping motion of a broomstick coming down upon her and shrieked.

THUD!

Her feet flew out from under her and she hit the floor with a loud thud. Not to be outdone, she reached out and grabbed one of the Gobstones and flung it directly at the man (rubindo) who was throwing them at her. But she wasn't finished and swung her broomstick in sheer frustration at the ankles of the man who knocked her backwards (Cinn-O-Bun) however he was just out of her reach and she was swiping at air.

"Enough!" she gasped and blinked several times. Must have hit my head. Xylia reached into her pocket and pulled out a key. "Take it."

Then she looked at the other man who was trying to hit her with a broom while she was on the ground. "Wait until I'm back on my feet," she grumbled and lay there for a moment before getting back to her feet.

"YOU have yet to block a blow with a broomstick," Xylia pointed out and lunged towards him (rubindo) with both hands on her broom. She was holding it diagonally across her body and thrust it towards him in an attempt to hopefully push him backwards.

"I'll be with the two of you just as soon as I finish with this lot," smirked Alistair and he went back to dealing with the men.
The first man (Jack Mannequin) was just watching them with a broomstick in his grasp, so Alistair shrugged his shoulders and focused all of his attention on the man who was now on the attack (Zellanna).

He raised his broomstick and there was a loud crack as he blocked the blow. "Ah, now that's the spirit! Again!"

Ben was frustrated and pushed his attacker's broom as hard as he could with his broom which he was now holding diagonally with both hands as well. He hoped this force would knock her to the ground. "Is THAT good enough for you???" he said to her. Damn!

Ronan watched on as the one man attached their challenger and the second man encouraged him on.

The young man stepped forward and raised the broomstick with his dominant hand and brought it towards the man's ribs in the hoping that it would be a weakening blow.

Xylia stepped back a few paces so that the man was still within reach and laughed. "Oooo! Got you angry, did I? Good!" She flipped her broom around and swung it towards the man's knees.

Ben snickered and blocked the attack, and without getting rid of the contact between the brooms he flung it to the other side of the body hoping his attacker would stumble or loose control.

Alistair was quick and used his broomstick to block the blow. "Again!" he commanded and opted to be an obstacle instead of trying to inflict pain on anyone, like the female psychopath.

Ronan looked at him a determined glint in his eye as he held up the broom again attempting to hit the challenger again with his broomstick. He let out a small war cry despite himself trying to bring down all his force with the implement in his hand.

Xylia still retained her balance and shook her head at the man as their broomsticks made contact. She moved slightly to the right and kept her violet eyes on him. "Try to knock me off my feet," she suggested and raised an eyebrow. "Think and assess. Force me to misstep."

Moved slightly to the right leaving her left side open. Ben swung his broom around to his attacker's joint where here left shoulder met her neck. As he did this he put his foot out. So if she went to block, she would have a hard time getting her footing right, which would allow Ben to land a blow causing serious pain.

Alistair stepped to one side. "Oops! You missed." He jabbed at the man with his broom handle.

Xylia ducked and missed the blow. However, she lost her footing and stumbled. "Watch it or you won't get the key if you physically injure me," she warned him. "I've been dropping hints the entire time."

It took her another moment to regain her balance and she waited to see what he would do next.

"Oof!" Ronan said as he was jabbed by the broom, his side throbbing as he glared back at the man reaching out to strike at him again, careful to not whether or not he was going to side step again. The young man held his broom firmly in his left hand almost like he was jousting and jabbed forward.

He just forced her to stumble. How did she NOT fall. Ben swung at the side of her knee before she regained her balance completely hoping this would cause her to fall. Was this girl invulnerable or something?

Xylia was stumbling about and the broom tripped her up, but she wasn't satisfied that the man had even learned the lesson that was supposed to be taught. "You know, it would have been much easier to force me backwards until I stepped into a puddle of Gobstone goo thanks to your earlier attempts to hit me with them," she snarled as she got back to her feet. "Tell me what you've learned and I might consider giving you the key."

A cracking sound was heard as the broomsticks made contact and Alistair took a step backwards. Little did he know that his boot heel was inches away from a puddle of Gobstone goo.

Learned??? There was no lesson! And are gobstones even that soft??? I didn't WANT to make a pile. Damn! Why am I being so distracted that I can't even see the things that I didn't mean to do???

"Well..." Better just go for it. "Well whatever it was it was taught poorly with not enough information given for this challenge. Well I guess it's either using strategy to take down an opponent or you may have to use odd weapons to fight." Ben hoped he was right. No. Ben didn't care he was right. This was the dumbest challenge yet. Whatever he did there was something new added to the challenge to contradict it. He was going to talk to the minister about this one when this challenge thing was over.

Ronan looks at the man he had just hit and gives him one last push backwards as he sees the Gobstone goo that will certainly encase the man's foot long enough for him to get past him as an obstacle.

He watched in anticipation for the man to either falter backwards farther or to regain his composure and attempt to battle him again.

Alistair was pushed backwards and then he felt the ground slide beneath him. He began flailing and shook his head.

THUD!

He landed on his rear and started laughing. "I forgot about the puddle of goo," he said in good spirits and reached into his pocket. He pulled out a metal object and handed it to the man. "Here's the key. You earned it."
