This is my first poem so I hope you guys like it! This one is called More Than Friends? I pass you by in the hall You say "Hi" and that is all We've been friends for some time But something's changed in my mind I think about the times together we spend But now I see you as more than a friend Do you feel the same way too? 'Cause I see you watching me with those eyes of blue You must think of me that way I can tell by what people say But the only one who really knows is you You can tell me 'cause I love you too I know you're shy, but so am I Let's be together, or at least just try 'Cause if it doesn't work out, you're still my friend We'll always be by each other 'till the end What do you guys think? |

Thanks! Just so you guys know, my poetry is based on things that I've gone through. They're all true. Writing them kinda helps me release all my thoughts and feelings and all of my stress. |
Ok, here's another one, even though I don't have alot of posts! :sad: This one is about the same person in the first one. The Dance: I see you there at the dance We see each other at a glance We talk to each other for a while Oh I love it when you smile! A slow song comes on and I'm led away But it's not by you, I want to stay We're both dancing but not with each other I wish that we could be together I look to see where you are I see you, it's ok, you're not far You turn your head and catch my eye I can't turn away, I'm hypnotized We stare into each other's heart We cannot turn away, we cannot part I look away with a blink My head is spinning, I cannot think The song ends and I'm free to go Something's about to happen, but I don't know Later on I stand by you And you turn to me with your eyes so blue "Do you want to dance?" you say to me I feel like I had been waiting an eternity "Yes" I say and we're on the floor And the space between us, there is no more Well, what do y'all think? |

Ok I'm back! Here's another one for y'all! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Phone Call Late at Night: I wrote you a letter the other day There were so many things I needed to say I told you everything I knew About how much I feel for you I asked you to call me that night When the phone rang, it gave me a fright I answered the phone and heard your voice You called me, late thought, but good choice I asked questions about the way your friends act Your answers were weird, though, and not exact Was there someone in the room with you? Maybe your parents and brother too? Your answers didn't make sense, you know Are you hiding something that you don't want me to know? It's ok if you like me too Because you now know that I like you We talked about other things for a little longer Then we hung up and I sat to ponder I wasn't so sure if you liked me like that now Because of course by now we'd be going out But little did I know that I would soon change my mind 'Cause I heard something from a friend that talks to you all the time ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I hope I'm not boring you all about what goes on in my life! It's just easier to write stuff from experience. Oh well, hope you guys like it! |

I'm back now! Here's one. Why?: Why does everything have to be so difficult? Why do I feel trapped in a vault? Why don't you talk to me anymore? Why do you just look at me and close the door? What did I do to make you be this way? Was it something I did or didn't say? I used to talk to you all the time But I told you how I felt, is that a crime? Maybe we're better off being friends I don't want things between us to end Could you just say something so I know things are alright? I don't want to feel like we're in a fight Sometime soon I'm going to talk to you So that our relationship will not be through Hope you all like it! It's another shorty! |
