Song Fictions and One Shots by Harita - Sa13+ Hello everybody,this is my 3rd entry in the fanfiction category of SS.But this is also my first attempt at a song fiction.In this thread i would be writing fictions based on songs.Since Song Fictions thread isnt active and since i dont know which genre song fictions i will write later on.i have opened this thread for my Song fictions as well as One Shots. ~~~~~~~~~ DISCLAIMER:I don’t own any part of the song and this song is the sole property of Big Machine Records and of Taylor Swift. I don’t even own the characters of this plot. They belong to our one and only beloved J.K Rowling, author of Harry Potter series. But the plot and the content is what I made up for this song fiction. I first came to know about Taylor Swift from my class mates and probably the first song i heard of hers was ofcourse 'LOVE STORY' and i instantly fell in love with the song and since then i have heard this song many many times and i am also a Rose Weasley/Scorpius Malfoy shipper...so without much further ado.... “Rose Weasley you aren’t leaving the house” Ron shouted “I don’t need you to tell me what to do and what not to” Rose shouted back. She got back to her room and banged her door shut. She sat on the edge of her bed, her face in her hands. “I want to get out of here” she thought. As she grabbed her wand and got ready she came down to hear her mom shout at her dad “Ron when will you stop being over protective. She is of age. She knows what is good for her and what is not” “no she doesn’t. I never trusted Draco Malfoy and I will not trust his son either” he said his voice raising at Hermione. Rose stormed out of the living room and into the hall and was out of the door “you aren’t going to the Malfoy Manor do you hear me?” “I will go where I wish to” Rose fired back before she left the house, banging the door shut. Hugo went after his sister “Rose!” “Leave me alone Hugo” “where are you going?” “none of your business” Rose said to herself . “Rose where are you going?” his voice concerned and he ran after her but Rose had already apparated. Rose had apparated out of the town on the hill side. It was her favorite place at such times. A gush of fresh wind hit her face and calmed down her nerves. She felt much better. Her red face seemed to have cooled down. She slowly walked across the huge meadow. She had her ipod with her which her dear cousin Albus gifted her for her 17th birthday. She switched on the ipod and the songs started to flow through the ear phones. Music soothed her a lot. She listened to her favorite numbers, few were fast, few were slow romantic songs but the one she always related to was a muggle song which she downloaded when she had gone to visit her grandmother Mrs. Granger in muggle London. Love Story by Tylor Swift. The song spoke of her story. Rose walked along the borders of the still and calm lake waiting for her favorite number to be played. She didn’t want to skip other songs and go for this one. She waited for the song patiently as she had waited for Scorpius all these weeks after their 7th year got over. Rose walked to the tree and stood with her back against the trunk of the tree and supported herself with her leg on the tree trunk. She closed her eyes and hands around her body to keep herself shielded from the non existing cold breeze in middle of summer night. She remembered her times with Scropius in Hogwarts. The first time they gazed into each others eyes, their first touch, and their first kiss under the mistletoe during 5th year Christmas before they returned back to their homes for vacation. Their little Hogsmeade expeditions, late night study in room of requirement, the cozy snuggling moments by the fire before they left to their dorms during 6th year, behind their cousins back. She remembered all these moments and hardly paid attention to the songs that were playing. She sighed as one of the songs on her play list ended and then a familiar beat started. Rose opened her eyes and smiled at the thought of the song itself. Lyrics Rose walked ahead towards the border of the lake… We were both young when I first saw you I closed my eyes and the flashback starts Rose closed her eyes and she re visited the first time she saw Scorpius outside Hogwarts. He was in a black tux and was looking really handsome for 14 soon to be turning 15 year old boy. I'm standing there On a balcony in summer air They were at the 23rd Re-union party after the 2nd wizard war in the Ministry premises where Harry and Ron worked as aurors along with Malfoy. See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns I see you make your way through the crowd Rose was talking to her girl friends when she saw Malfoy coming up to her And say hello Little did I know That was the beginning of a new friendship between Scorpius and Rose That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles And my daddy said, "stay away from Juliet" Later in their 6th year they both confessed their liking for each other. Scorpius had started to stop by at the Weasley house hold many times since the summer of fourth year after the Ball. And I was crying on the staircase Begging you, please don't go And I said Rose remembered her last summer vacation when Ron came to know about her and Scorpius’ relation and he was furious. Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess It's a love story Baby, just say yes A small gush of wind made Rose open her eyes. She looked at the reflection of the moon in the still lake and then looked up at the starry sky above and a small smile crept upon her face as the words of her story flowed by in her ears. She began to hum the song and sing few words here and there... So, I sneak out to the garden to see you We keep quiet cause we're dead if they knew So close your eyes Escape this town for a little while That night Rose was really upset and couldn’t stop herself from crying. She could hear her mum banging the door to open but Rose didn’t. Just then she found a paper plane flying through her window ‘Meet me outside your house -Love Scorpius’ Oh, oh Rose tip toed out of her house almost every night during her vacations and met Scorpius in their garden and would come here on the vast plain meadow and the always calm and beautiful lake. Cause you were Romeo, I was the scarlet letter And my daddy said, "stay away from Juliet" But you were my everything to me I was begging you, please don't go And I said Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess ‘you’ll be the prince and I’ll be the princess’ It's a love story ‘It’s a love story’ Baby, just say yes ‘Baby, just say yes’ Rose sang along... Romeo, save me They try to tell me how I feel This love is difficult, but it's real Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess It's a love story Baby, just say yes Rose remembered her dad being furious every time she had uttered Scorpius’ name these past few weeks but she knew nothing could make her stop loving Scorpius. She hugged herself tightly as she walked… As Rose kept walking along the borders of the lake a pair of eyes were watching over her. Oh oh ‘Oh oh’ I got tired of waiting I got tired of waiting Wondering if you were ever coming around Wondering if you were ever coming around Rose sighed as the song played by and looked down at her reflection in the lake water. She had seriously begun to think if Scorpius would come around. She hoped and wished he wouldn’t leave her alone. My faith in you is fading When I met you on the outskirts of town And I said Rose sang along… Romeo, save me Romeo, save me I've been feeling so alone I’ve been feeling so alone I keep waiting for you, I keep waiting for you, she sang Rose turned to take another round of walk when she found the platinum blonde hair, gray eyes with a pointed chin, young man looking up at her. she stopped singing. But you never come She removed one of her ear phones out surprised and mesmerized at the presence of such a handsome guy who was standing in front of her. ‘he has come’ she thought still looking into his eyes. Is this in my head I don't know what to think He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring And said Rose couldn’t make out if this was true and real or was it the effect of the song on her imagination but she saw, Scorpius on a knee and he had pulled out a ring. Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone “Marry me, Rose, you’ll never have to be alone” Scorpius spoke, his deep voice repeating the lines of his love’s favorite song. I love you and that's all I really know “I love you and that’s all I really know” he continued holding out the ring I talked to your dad “I talked to your dad” Go pick out a white dress ‘Go pick out a white dress’ he said and Rose smiled, her face radiant with happiness, almost laughing as the song inter-twined with her life’s most precious moment. It's a love story “It’s our love story” Baby, just say yes “Baby, just say yes” Scorpius spoke along with song being played on Rose’s ipod Oh oh oh Rose nodded her head. Her happiness knew no bounds. Scorpius stood up and made her wear the ring and Rose almost instantly jumped on to him a smile on her face and a tear escaped down her face. Hello everybody...i am here with my first one shot...yay! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DISCLAIMER: I dont know any of the characters in this one shot except for Cheryl Blake and William Macmillan, though Macmillan surname has been used by J.K in the Harry Potter series...i have just made up the Sr.Macmillan's name in this one shot... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is my first one shot to post in here...so i hope you would like it and any comments or suggestions would be welcome... Well i was just thinking for something to write... one shot actually and then i thought of our character in the ficition so here she is....tada... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was a summer evening after the end of the torturous examinations. The lake area was buzzing with kids of all ages chatting and running and playing around. An auburn haired, emerald eyed girl was walking down by the lake. She was to meet someone, a person who she has been spending quite a long time with since he asked her out during the Hogsmeade trip before Christmas. She had said no but on her friend Mary’s insistence she went along and found out that Mary was right. He was really a nice guy. Today she is waiting for him for almost half an hour. She was walking up and down the edge of the lake with chattering and muttering and giggling of couples and yells of friends in the background. The sun was setting and it was getting a bit too much and there was no sign of William. “Will, don’t stop, no, stop” and there was a squeal and then a girl giggling. Lily turned quickly and saw Cheryl Blake and William Macmillan! William’s hand was over her waist where he was tickling her. His face turned blank from his mischievous smile as he noticed Lily standing there stunned at looking him and Cheryl together. “oh hi Lils” he said hesitantly. He looked at Cheryl and then at Lily. He whispered something in Cheryl’s ear and then walked ahead before she could answer him back. Lily saw William come near her. “where were you?” was the only question she could ask “I-I am sorry Lils” “no, no, don’t you ever call me with that name” she cut him across “I have been waiting for so long for you. You probably would want to know the reason why?” she asked him her anger building up in her voice “Let me remind you. We were to meet here because we were to spend time with each other which we certainly haven’t been doing since we are busy with our studies and exams. And after meeting up at the second last day of our exams and arranging our meeting here so that we can spend time before we head back to our houses for vacations, you stand me up like this and roam around with Cheryl!” she yelled. A few heads turned. “And if you still have forgotten why we were to spend time with each other then let me remind you once again. We were going out for how many months? for 3 months now!” “Lily, listen I am sorry. I really am. sorry” “No, forget it. I don’t even want to listen to your explanations Mr. William Macmillan. We are done, done for good” she said and glared at him and then stormed off from the lake. The people around the lake area just stood stock still to see their beloved prefect Lily Evans storm away… A grease ball, a geek, a sycophant is what he was been tagged all along his six years if education but there was one title which no one except him could confer upon himself, the title of being in love with Lily Evans. But he made a mistake which had caused his love of life to go further away from him, a mistake that had given James Potter to prove himself right in front of Lily about Snevilly and a mistake that had given a way for gits like William Macmillan to break Lily’s heart. Snape sighed as he saw Lily storm off from the ground but internally he was jubilant. From the day he had lost his Lily completely for calling her mudblood he had sworn to himself that he would never come in her way again but he had also promised that he wouldn’t let anyone get together with her. ‘if Lily cant be mine, she wont be for anyone else’ is what he thought and now today he seemed to be very happy that she had ended her relation with William. But what pestered him the most is Lily’s break up with William will get James’ hopes high again and James was the last person who Snape would want to see Lily with… Lily stormed into the Gryffindor Common Room and almost bumped into “oye! flower, slow down” said a jovial voice, the same voice that had always been ready to give advices to his friend on how to ask her out at every chance his friend got. She didn’t look up and just walked past him and sat down heavily on the couch “Lily? You alright?” asked a much calmer and a matured voice and a small smile crept her face. Lily looked up at Remus Lupin and then just nodded. “then why so upset Flower?” asked Sirius who was completely opposite to what his name would suggest “nothing, just saw William with Cheryl” she said and sighed. “what!” exclaimed another voice. It was her room mate Mary “William is with Cheryl? So it is confirmed?” she asked and Lily narrowed her eyes “so you mean that you knew all along but you didn’t tell me because you were waiting for a confirmation?” demanded Lily now shocked by Mary’s words. Remus and Sirius looked from Mary to Lily and back to Mary Mary felt all eyes on her and she stuttered as she spoke “I-I well there were rumors going around that they both are seeing each other be-behind your back” she said softly “why didn’t you tell me Mary?” “I- I thought you would have known” she said “I did know but I just treated it as a rumor,” she said and then Sirius budged in “yeah and anyways you had much more important work to do Flower, like putting us in detention and avoiding Jamesies proposals during your study hours and of course studying to get all Os in your exams, so where do you have time to chat to that git Macmillan?” Lily chuckled “I guess I have to agree with you Sirius for the first time” she said and then tried to shake things away from her head. She was feeling much better now. She wasn’t even feeling all that miserable which she was feeling sometime back at the lake when everybody was staring at her. Lily sighed and then shook her head “what happened?” asked Mary “nothing, I am just that…well…you know I literally shouted at him in front of everybody and it was like entire school was looking at me. Now I will have to face all these odd questions” she said shaking her head “oh that don’t worry about it” said Sirius. “exactly, it will die down soon. Don’t worry about them” Remus added and Lily nodded and looked around and then thought ‘where is that git of your friend? He is always around to comment’ she thought Sirius smirked as he saw Lily looking around here and there and then he spoke to Remus “Hey Moony, where is Prongsies? I guess Flower is missing him” Lily snapped her head in Sirius’ direction so fast that her neck ached, but then a small blush crept across her cheek. “Courage” and the portrait door opened. The prefect barely heard the opening and closing of the portrait door. She heard footsteps but she was far busy in reading her book, her hair falling over her face which she impatiently swept it away and then her emerald green eyes met that of the deep brown ones “oh hey James” said Lily “he-hey” he stuttered as he was far too much in trance watching Lily continue reading her book. Lily blushed. There was silence and then she cleared her throat and then spoke in her usual business like way which she always used on James “what brought you here James?” she asked “oh, yeah well Alice gave me this” he said and brought out a novel of sorts out from his bag. She looked at him and then at the book which he removed from his bag. Her eyes lit up and she was standing the next moment “thank you so much, James” she said and hugged as she took the book “I thought I lost it. It is my favorite book, it’s the best novel I had read so far and I missed it so much. I was getting worried about losing it” she said looking at the novel “oh I completely forgot that I had lent it to Alice” she went on… “Lils, slow” he said with a small smile which looked absolutely gorgeous on him. She internally sighed and then blushed and then immediately went and sat back so as to cover her cheeks which could have been easily as red as her hair. James who was standing near her felt her hair on his face as she turned away from him. He looked at her worriedly. ‘why did she move away?’ he thought and then he just sat down and saw her go back to reading her another book again. “well I got hear about Cheryl and William” Lily looked up at James and she saw his intense never seen like that before eyes boring into hers. She managed to nod her head. He then shook his head “git, he doesn’t know what he has missed” he murmured Lily raised here eyebrow “sorry?” “yeah, exactly. He doesn’t know what he did leaving you like that” James continued seriously all the smirking and fun gone from his face “Anyways you should be with much better person then that pompous git” James said and Lily giggled James smiled “so what do you propose?” she said her eyebrow raised again James looked at her his eyes glinting with mischief again “you know what I mean?” “oh yeah do I?” she asked playing along his lines and then there was a chuckle somewhere they looked here and there and James knew instantly that it had to be Sirius, always the spoiler of the moment... James looked in Sirius’ direction who was in his cloak ‘I’ll get back to you later’ he muttered to himself and Lily looked at him “did you say anything?” she asked “no nothing,” James denied and then continued “so what I was saying is that you should be with much better person” he said and Lily shook her head “don’t worry James. I think I know who I should be with” she said as she was stuffing her bag with her books. She looked at him “I need some time” she said and got up and ruffled James’ hair and smiled a brilliant smile and then shouldered her bag and then walked off “good night James” she said as she walked off and James sat there where he was, turned in his seat to see Lily leave the common room and there was a faint chuckling from thin air and a certain guy with a prefect badge and shabby robes stepped out of the shadows with a smile on his face. James looked at his best friends and then smiled and shook his head. Those idiots, heard everything…James looked back at the space where Lily was there a few seconds ago… i will be waiting for your answer Lils he thought... Do comment and have a nice day :) |
What a sweet little story, harita. I had been trying to think of another song you could do like the Taylor Sift one, but I couldn't think of any. This one-shot was really nice, and I really enjoyed it. Thank you, for letting me know. Quote:
