Party Poetry Potpourri In honor of the Fiesta Celebration for Harry and JKR's birthdays, we have chosen a Poetic challenge to put the members of SS to the test to come up with creative Poetry for our honored guest. The contest will consist of three different challenges and you can enter any or all three. Each will have an entire week of July dedicated to that particular style of poetry and the winners will be judged by you, the readers via a poll at the end of the month. The first Challenge will be an artistic style poem. using one of the following words- CAKE, CANDLE, PARTY create an artistic card for the birthday boy and girl (see example) Cartons for two A red and a blue Kids will come too Especially for you (all entries must be submitted between July 8th-14th) please post only poems in this thread, for discussion and questions about this challenge please post them here |
okay it seems that some (or maybe most....lol) of you seem reluctant to give the poetry stuff a try so I'll post another example of the artistic format to help you along......it's fun and easy and you don't have to be that good at rhyming either.......good luck....:ballcap: Spots Cake and ice cream Are for all and None will get left out Divvy up the Lollipops and Everyone will shout see.........it's easy.... :hpbroom: |
