Julie called me this evening and asked that I post an apology to her faithfull readers. She has an exteremly nasty sickness (you could even say she is down with the sickness) and cannot come to the boards. Her internet has also crashed otherwise this would be written by herself.

This is no prank, those of you who were here from the start know I'm a friend. Go leave some get better PN's for her. When I talked to her tonight, I could have sworn she was a frog on steroids. I will leave more posts if she asks me but she is really in a bad way. Thanks everyone.

Hello all! I was all primed and ready to tell you myself that my neglect of you has not been of my choosing, when I discovered that my internet had crashed. We called the Internet company and they told us that the Internet wasn't working because Windows was not recognizing the connection, even though it had just the day before. Now this is all fine and good, except that EVERY single computer (we have 3 desktops, 2 laptops) was not working the Internet, I can't see how 5 computers spontaneously stopped recognizing the Internet all at the same time :lol:

Anyway, as is obvious, the Internet was magically restored this morning (no surprise there). Thanks Steph for putting the post up here. I am actually on my way to get more medicine and go back to sleep, but I wanted to come on and thank you all for you well wishes, you all are the best. Thanks for the Chicken Noodle Soup and Tea Tate! it is working wonders!

Off to bed and rest :glomp:

Hi everyone, I just wanted to give you all an update. My doctor misdiagnosed my "simple viral infection." I actually have the beginning stages of a sinus infection, tonsillitis, and the icing on the cake, not a viral infection but pneumonia!!! Oh but the good news is, I was informed that pneumonia is treatable with antibiotics!

So anyway, I am on the road to recovery, I am still exceedingly weak, so I can't promise a post any time soon :( Thank you for you get well wishes, they are helping, and keep the chicken soup and tea flowing :glomp:

I am bringing over the DA to guard you against any more of them nasty booger bugs!!!!! We have new twin DA members that are very good against these things. Their names are Anti and Biotic. They will be your front guard! Hermione is bringing a cauldron of Molly Weasley's chicken noodle soup, and Luna is bringing some special bulb to help protect you from something ...I couldn't understand what she was saying...anyway. Dobby is bringing some bedwarmers to keep your bed nice and toasty! They have been ordered by nurse Tatewin to make sure you relax and take it easy so that you don't push yourself into a relapse! Potions are being prepared to help you regain your strength! So, kick back, relax and don't worry about us here! We will keep busy by pulling pranks on Umbridge and Filch until you return!

Dedicated to all of my readers!!!

Chapter 37: Occlumency and the Animagus

All was silent in the dark hallway, as Minerva glared at James, Sirius and Lupin, the three of them eyes as wide and just as still as a deer in the head lights.

“What is the meaning of this?” Minerva’s voice of soft as steel and sounded just as deadly.

“It was my idea…” Harry began, but he was interrupted by a scoff from Moody.

“Don’t try to protect them boy.” Moody growled softly, his magically completely focusing on the three men.

“Why don’t we turn around, and go back inside.” Minerva said pleasantly enough, motioning for them to go back through the door.

For a moment no one moved, and Harry thought that the three men might try to physically push their way out of the situation. After a tense moment however, Sirius sighed, turned around and opened the door.

“Good choice.” Moody muttered under his breath as he pushed the group into the room.
“Now,” Minerva began when everyone was in chairs looking at her, “would you like to tell me what’s going on here?”

“Not really.” Sirius muttered under his breath, but not under enough to avoid a bat bogey hex that would have made Ginny envious had she seen it.

On a sigh, Minerva pointed her wand at Sirius again who shrank back in fear. He smiled and gave a sigh of relief as his clothes and body were suddenly cleansed of the remnants from the hex.

“Boys!” Minerva said suddenly, her voice pleading. “You can not coerce Harry into joining you little group, ‘The Mauraders’ he needs to focus on other things right now.”

The group looked at each other, and then burst into laughter. Tears began streaming down the men’s faces as they fell out of their chairs, not attempting to curb their laughter in the least.

“They are not trying to get me to join their group, Minerva,” Harry said softly, smiling at the men’s glee, he could once again see the joy of their youth. “They want me to learn to become an Animagus.”

The men were beginning to calm down now and picked themselves up off the floor, sighing and smiling and wiping tears from their faces.

“Oh.” Minerva stood dumbfounded, “Then why didn’t they bring the idea to me, I think it would be good for not only you, but some of the others as well.” Minerva said smiling and nodding.

“Unregistered Animagus.” Harry said simply, watching both Minerva and Moody’s faces to gauge their reaction.

“Ah, I see.” She silently began to pace. The room sat forward anxious to see her response.

“We are going to begin teaching you and some of the other members Occlumency soon.” She paused and looked at Harry meaningfully, “maybe you should wait a little while, you know.” She gave a brief shrug.

“Now that is taken care of, we should really be heading back to the others before they miss us.” Moody led the way out of the room.

“By the way, “Sirius whispered to Moody as he followed him back up the paths, “how did you find us?”
“The magic that created this place is very weak as far as security measures go, I could see you all clear as day.” He chuckled to himself as Sirius slapped himself in the forehead.

“I should have remembered that stupid eye of yours Moody.” James piped up from behind Sirius, laughing to himself.

“Yeah well.” Moody grunted, he paused for a moment causing the group to run into him, “I’ll fix the security spells on that place.” He said gruffly, causing the three men to beam, “Wipe that smirk of your face Potter!”

“Sorry!” both father and son exclaimed and then burst into laughter. Moody eased into the hallway and the rest of the group followed suit.

“Well , well, well.” Came a voice from behind them.

“Sneaking around,”

“Very dodgy,”

“We’re hurt that you left us out.” The twins ended in unison.

“Fire in Merlin’s beard! Where did you boys come from?” Moody demanded, yelling in their faces.

“What’s wrong Moody?”

“Couldn’t see us?” George added a sly look on his face.

Moody squinted his eyes and glared at the boys, “How did you do it?” he demanded, using all his will power to not grab the boys by their shirt collars.

“Oh this,” began Fred

“and that,”

“and more than a little bit of magic”

The group gasped as suddenly where the twins had been standing there were two identical squirrels they scampered a bit down the hall, and then just a suddenly the Twins reappeared.

“We’ve been working on that one since Christmas!” Fred said proudly, “Bloody useful, I’m telling you.” He said as he looked around, making sure no one else had seen.

“Well that settles it then.” Minerva said with finality, nodding to the twins.

“We begin soon.” With out another word, she turned on her heal and walked away.

I was sitting here trying to think of the most mischievous animals that could cause the most trouble but wouldn't be overly obvious. At first I had picked monkeys, like the cute monkey in Night at the Museum (Great movie!), because they are wicked mischievous, but then I realized, how often in England do you see random wild monkeys running around, that would draw some serious unwanted attention, so I had to pick something more common. Now granted, I have never been to England to know if they have squirrels there, but wikipedia says there are, so....that's what I picked! Maybe someone native to England can enlighten me if there really are Squirrels in England (Mich? ;))
I have exactly 4 class periods left this semester, and I just finished the two major writing assignments, so....YES! I will be able to write more soon!

Yup! I am all better! And trust me, that is SUCH a good thing! I was so very ill, it was no good, but I am :superman: and have bounced back with amazing resilience...actually no let me rephrase that...my doctor gave me :superman: antibiotics, and that has caused me to bounce back with amazing resilience :lol: I can't claim that on my own, I wasn't doing to well before the medicine :lol:

I'm glad you liked the post, I was giggling when I wrote it...I have to say giggling, because I can't laugh, laughing makes me cough :cry: but giggling is OK!

As I mentioned to Mustang Sally, I was going to make them monkeys, capuchin monkey's to be exact, but then I realized, although never having been to England before, that capuchin monkeys would not be an everyday occurrence. So after much research (not too much really :lol:) I picked squirrels, so now the question goes to you....are there squirrels (of any kind) in England? Wikipedia said there were, so that's what I picked :lol: The reason I even ask instead of assume, is that while California (northern) is overrun with squirrels (at least in my area), Arizona has none (I was devastated the year that I lived there...I love squirrels) OK so enough about the twins and the squirrels.

I am writing off and on, and I will hopefully post more in the next few days!

I have some plans in the works for some scenes of the twins as squirrels, with some interesting antics. I am not quite happy with it, so it will be a little while, I have to change it up!
You know, logical is my middle name *pushes glasses up on nose* :lol:

Yep we have grey and brown squirrels here, mainly brown, only monkeys we have are in the zoo.
Cant wait for another post, which (fingers crossed) is very soon.
