How well were relationships represented in the movies?

:val3: How well were relationships represented in the movies? :val3:

A lot can change in a book’s journey from page to screen, and our favorite Harry Potter ships are no exception to the rule. For every ship that was brilliantly brought to life in the movies, there’s another that was cut, condensed, or just didn’t translate well to the big screen at all!

How did your favorite ships fare? What do you like about the way your ship was portrayed onscreen? What do you think should’ve been done differently? Do you think the movies gave your ship the attention it deserved? Share your thoughts about the movies’ representation of your favorite ships here!

LMAO Ariana:xd:

Over all, I don't really feel like a majority of the ships I liked were really done justice in the films. Tonks and Remus? UGH.

But one thing I will say is that Goblet of Fire truly captured just how awkward it is to be a teenager. The whole Lavender and Ron story line was just brilliantly done in my eyes:lol: Like...every time she was on screen I was drawn to watching her expression and just :x3:

Can we talk about how many IMPORTANT scenes were left out for many ships??? Like Ron and Hermione's kiss was SO different in the book and I really wish they'd included that. It was one of my favourite scenes in the books.

And, although, Hinny isn't my favourite ship ever, they portrayed Ginny sooooooo badly. She was so much more FIRE and courage in the books and I wished they'd portrayed her that way.

TONKS AND REMUS. They make me so emotional! The films really didn't focus on their story enough. ;_____;

With the exception of Ronmione's scene with the piano, thinking back, I'm not a very big fan of the ship portrayals. I especially found Hinny's at the Burrow in the sixth movie quite cringe-worthy xD

I know Neville and Luna aren't canon, but I ship them :loved: I especially love their little moment after the war where they were sitting together and they smiled at each other :love: Small moments like that hit the warm emotions more than the bigger ones with the canon ships.

I'm gonna be honest here and say that I don't really ship any of the canon couples in the series. But then I'm not much of a shipper when it comes to media. :lol: But I do agree that the movies tended to not really do the couples justice.

Also I agree that Neville and Luna would have been sweet together!! They also are my favourite characters. :loved:
