On the quiet North End of the Street lies a vibrant storefront polished to its finest where you enter a world of brooms, bludgers, snitches and much more. Displayed at the window of Quality Quidditch Supplies is the latest released broom. As you enter the shop, the shelves and displays are the first thing you notice, neatly stacked with other brooms, team posters and robes galore.
Between the side walls there are shelves filled with various Quidditch supplies and goods. Following the displays of brooms and the like, towards the back you see another section of displays, not of brooms, but the side walls of the shop are neatly stacked with broom accessories, sports equipments and matching merchandise for support. Feel free to stroll along and find what you need to aid you in your game play. Lastly, the back wall displays books and other reading materials, all to do with Quidditch and Broomology of course.
Towards the back you see another section of displays with little knick-knacks and toys perfect for all ages. Only our most privileged customers are permitted to enter the back room of the shop. Here we hold unique items and remaining stock of items that cannot fit on the displays or are in need of refurbishing. At the very back is a door to a room where the shopkeeper does his admin work. Once you've found and decided on the goods you wish to purchase, you may bring them along your way towards the counter found towards the back of the shop. The shopkeeper may seem busy, but that won't stop him from assisting anyone.

The best thing with being a dad was seeing the smile on your kid's face. Kirk never wanted to see it disappear. "Of course we can. As long as you continue to finish your house chores on time. And continue being a good big brother to KT, Harvey, and Gef." They both figuratively and literally looked up to him. And they all got along well, outside the little squabbles that siblings usually got into.
Kirk rubbed the top of Jt's head affectionately, "I know kiddo. Accidents happen and there's nothing wrong with that." Their neighbor just needed more patience. After all, the stars collided every so often and they still remained beautiful in the end. "Sure, you can touch the handle of them, but no more than that." Softly chuckling. "I believe the brooms have an invisible lock to prevent anyone trying to sit on them right now." Besides the broom, he had a feeling JT would want more than that. "Was there anything else you were wanting to get in here?" Daddy Kirk was feeling extra generous.
"I promise daddy!" JT woved immediatley to his father. "I might be the oldest, but KT, Gef and Harvery don't look up at me. At least not so I see or feel it." To do his chores at home on time wasn't too hard even though he liked some tasks more than others. Being a good older brother wasn't too hard since he spent most of the time away from Hogwarts, and just kept in touch with his younger siblings via owl mail.
Holding his hand out over the broom handle of the Jolleyrocket intending to touch the handle, just a touch of dissapointment showed in his eyes as he gazed at his father. "They have that lock right daddy so nobody can steal the brooms?" It seemed the most logical reason. Reaching out to gently touch/stroke the broom handle of the jolleyrocket, a warm smile bloomed in JT's face as well as excitement in his tone. "I want this broom!!! It's the right one..."
Remembering that daddy had said he could get something else too JT asked tentatively. "Can I get new flight goggles, and gloves too daddy?"
Matthew stood by the counter, flipping through a Quidditch magazine in search of any familiar faces. He'd seen them all for the most part, played against most of them too, but it was always interesting seeing what sort of strange poses and outfits they'd all been thrown into at one time or another. The boy was grinning particularly widely at a former teammate's ridiculous getup. It was some sort of overdone cloak, somehow both heavy and comfortable looking while also making the guy look like he was swimming in a potato sack with a hat to match.
"Lums? What do you think? Next gala outfit?" He held out the folded magazine to her.

Given her status as 'quidditch player girlfriend' it was surprising how she looked so out of place in here. To her, she was 'Matthew's girlfriend'... but to the world? Yikes. But, supportive girlfriend was supportive and if they needed to be in here then she'd at least manage the fifteen minutes before she started getting antsy. The blonde was distracted by something above her and about to swat at what she thought was a fly when Matthew spoke. "Hm?" She drew her gaze towards him and then as if she had finally processed what he said, took the magazine and looked carefully.
Lumi fought a laugh, tutting and handing it back. "Only if we're matching and we tell people someone I hate made them." Petty? Lumi? Never.
Merlin, even concerned over a fly, she was stunning. Looking at her only made him want to get this all over and done with quicker so he could get them back home again. He reached above her head to swat at whatever it was with the magazine.
Cheeky grin plastered across his face, he took the magazine back, letting it close completely as he set it back with its matching companions. "Deal." With that matter settled, he slipped an arm around her waist and began guiding them further into the shop. New gloves and goggles were in order. "Black, brown, or something else?"

The glint in his eye gave away his entire thought process and even after all these years, she found herself blushing a little. Perhaps that had also been the way he’d leaned over her to squash a fly. ”We’re uh— we’re—“ Not actually going to wear those things? Not draw too much attention to themselves in public again? ”We’re going to have to ask for pockets big enough for a book. Or three.” It was typical that she lasted about an hour of people pleasing and mingling before she needed a quieter space to calm the brain overwhelm and also to let Matthew schmooze the way he did so effortlessly. Lumi had been photographed many times since they went public with their relationship being sat in the corner of an event reading, and more times than that… carried out of an event because she’d fallen asleep reading.
It was easy to fall asleep when you know your boyfriend wouldn’t wake you to take you home. This one always did. This one was a different species of boyfriend. And he was hers.
”Brown” she answered quickly, adding a glove care kit to the basket she had also collected as he’d whisked her into the shop. ”Black is too harsh of a colour against your skin.”
She was always on his mind. Even if they weren't in the same room, she was teasing his thoughts or springing up in words he hadn't seen together before. His eye followed the fly as it went about its business elsewhere before falling back on hers. "You can put the extras in my pockets." The last thing he wanted was for her to come home after one of his events with a sore neck from a heavy, horrifically hideous cloak. "Or we'll have to get a bag to match." Which he'd be plenty content with carrying for her.
Matthew picked up both pairs of gloves, pushing up the sleeve of his shirt and throwing them over his forearm to see for himself. "Kind of a bummer the new uniform is entirely black then, isn't it?" Surprise? He'd taken the deal. "No more Tornadoes." And it was a heck of a deal.

”I like having my hands in your pockets though.” Anything that meant she felt closer to him. In all honesty, Lumi could have every limb wrapped about his and she’d still not feel close enough. It was obvious in social settings that she was the one in this relationship that struggled, that she needed to take frequent breaks or stay tucked at Matthew’s side. She didn’t mind the latter though. She still felt like they were making up for all the years that they had lost, that she’d thrown away because she was scared?
Lum took a little step back to look properly at the gloves over his arm, nodding when she decided that she agreed with what she had said previously. Too harsh. Especially when she enjoyed seeing him in his gloves at home sometimes. ”New uniform?” She repeated his words, gaze lifting to him as she realised what he was saying. The weight of his next words hung in the air as she tried to suss out how he was feeling about it. ”They agreed to everything?” The Tornadoes hadn’t been meeting his full potential, they hadn’t offered what he was worth… so she had urged him to fight for himself. And look at him now.
"Who said you couldn't keep them there anyway?" Honestly, he preferred it when she was close, when they were connected by touch in some way. He'd never been someone so touch depraved, but when it came to Lumi, there was never enough. Maybe it was due to being afraid she'd fall through his fingers again. Like if he kept reaching out to make sure she was really there, that this was real, she couldn't go anywhere.
It had felt like an age long process. Talking it out for nights on end with Lumi, getting his agent to do some gentle prodding, to finally finding a deal worth leaving a team that felt like home to him. Merlin, he was going to have to relearn an entire team's dynamics, their plays, and so much more. And yet he was... he felt lighter, like a new chapter was just beginning. A soft smile played on his lips. "Everything and then some." He took her hand, planting a gentle kiss on it, his eyes watching hers for this next part. "How do you feel about added security?"

It was one of those rare times Azrael Carrow had to himself. His mother and little sister were currently having a go at each other at Madam Malkins. The robes were too itchy. They were too warm. Too heavy. Each time his sister complained she and their mother would argue only for the older witch to give in and quickly ask for another set of robes. He adored Antonella, but robes shopping was not for him. It was torture. His mother, noticing this, had suggested he take a walk. They were going to be a while.
He didn't wander much, and once he entered the quidditch store the tension on his shoulders melted and he relaxed. His pale green eyes observed the broomsticks, taking in all the little details as his hands slipped into the pockets of his jeans. After finding the one he yearned for, Azrael stopped and admired it.

What he would give for a Firebolt Supreme V.
True, seventh year supplies were on her list. However, when one usually had an unlimited amount of spending money thanks to her Apapa and daddy, Athena Cerise Laramore was usually on the prowl to treat herself. Hence, scented candles were currently the top priority; she was also going to find the most delightful ones for Serena. Perhaps they would work as a ‘thank you’ for the Beauxbatons girl helping her with French, or perhaps it was a token of her romantic affection. Perhaps it was both.
So just what was the reason for Thena pausing before the Quidditch shop?
No reason other than to admire the aesthetic of the broomsticks on display. The sport wasn’t that big of a deal in her family; that honour went to Gobstones. But a girl could appreciate the beauty of the designs. “Gorgeous, isn’t it?” the rising seventh year asked after a moment of stepping beside a slightly younger boy. “Are you thinking of getting it?”

Imagine playing Quidditch on a Firebolt Supreme V. He would be so fast. Faster than he already was. The Golden Snitch would be in his grasp within seconds. He still wasn't sure if he was going to join Quidditch at Hogwarts, but just...imagine!
Azrael had been mid-day dream when he heard a foreign voice. Blinking, he turned his attention towards the source and nodded. Then shook head. Then quickly added, "Yes, it's gorgeous, but no. I'm not buying it." Did she look at the price on that thing? No, unfortunately he only had a Comet 1080. "Would you buy it?" he asked. "If you don't already have one." If she did...he'd swallow his pride and ask for a ride.

Athena continued to survey the broomsticks, her keen gaze taking in the names. While familiar with some of the latter, by no means had she known what all brooms looked like. To her, they were all the same with varying degrees of speed and features. So, she found it utterly fascinating as the physical differences were taken in.
The Ravenclaw regretted speaking up because she belatedly realised that the boy had been jerked out of his reverie. She gave him an apologetic look before quickly gazing at the broom in particular once more. Yes, Thena noticed the price but to her, it was nothing. Not when her Apapa, Daddy and Shim let her splurge on endless shopping sprees. If she wanted that broomstick, or any other, she could have gotten it in a heartbeat. “If I were into Quidditch, yes. I’m find Gobstones more interesting, to be honest, but I do watch the games at Hogwarts.” Hopefully Ravenclaw would claim the title in the new school year.

“Are you a big Quidditch fan?”
He didn't mind being brought back into the present. It actually came to some advantage when she mentioned Hogwarts. He had so many questions about the place, and since he hasn't been able to find a cheap copy of Hogwarts, A History, he couldn't debunk the theories, gossip and actual facts about the place. Of course, he could ask his mother but they weren't the bonding pair.
"Gobstones," he repeated, unable to hide the wrinkle of his nose. "Even if they squirt that smelly liquid? Or is it you always win?" he asked with genuine curiosity and a hint of a smile. He could not imagine enjoying that foul smell. He's played several times, and a few of those he's lost. That was all he needed to not touch that game again.
At her question, he nodded, his hand absentmindedly ruffling his curls. "Yeah. I grew up playing it outside of school," he said. "Dunno if I'll play this term. I'm new at Hogwarts and they might have a full team already." He didn't want to get his hopes up by wishful thinking.

The guy was in luck if it was Hogwarts he wanted to know about. Thena had a wealth of knowledge about the magical school even if she may not be aware of every secret it held. The reaction to her saying Gobstones earned him a chuckle. “Oh, I don’t play that much. I find it more interesting to watch.” There was now a slight smirk on her face. “It’s quite something to see someone get hit in the face with gob. One of my brothers plays professional Gobstones so I’ve seen that happening quite a bit with the teams. And of course, with the Hogwarts teams."
Oh, how simply delightful! “Let me just say welcome to Hogwarts in advance then! I know you’ll have an enjoyable time there. I’ll be starting my final year there this September but you’re free to seek me out any time to ask anything you want to know.” Thena suddenly slapped her forehead. “Here I am chattering away but I forgot to introduce myself. Athena Laramore. Nice to meet you.” She didn’t hold out a hand to be shaken; the Ravenclaw thought that was too old fashioned. Instead she offered him a smile. “Definitely don’t start your Hogwarts journey on that negative note,’’ she added. “Each term, tryouts are held for House teams so you have a shot.” The young lady fell silent to allow that information to sink in.

Watching was good when it came to gobstones. A soft chuckle escaped him when she mentioned someone get hit in the face with a gob. It was entertaining when things like that happened to others. "Maybe I'll give gobstones watching a try." For amusement purposes.
Az accepted her welcome with a curt nod. Having a familiar face at Hogwarts would be nice. Well, aside from his little sister. Antonella didn't know much, if at all, about Hogwarts and he'll more than likely be looking out for her. He was sure they'd end up in the same house.
Honestly, Azrael had briefly forgotten about introductions, and quite appreciated that Athena didn't do the handshake thing. "I'm Azrael Carrow. Likewise." And he actually meant that. He shrugged at her following comment. "Not a negative note, just more realistic," he said. "I might end up in Slytherin and I've heard rumors they are clique-y." And he wasn't part of anything.
