Ministry Entrances https://s26.postimg.cc/6ysyow5h5/min...ces-banner.jpg When not making use of the Floo Network, there are two alternate methods to enter the Ministry of Magic whether you are an employee or a visitor. Accessible by means of Muggle London, not far from Trafalgar Square and The Clarence, are the underground public toilets and the red telephone booth. All employees are required to make their way the underground public toilets, whereas any visitors are to step inside the telephone booth. It is suggested that using these methods be done post haste -- you never know when a Muggle might come around the corner. |
PS - assume we are IN the entrance and away from any prying muggles thanks :D Javier had felt so...weird lately. Something had just seemed off, he'd been having headaches, and this morning when he woke up, he'd discovered a patch of his hair had turned GRAY. Completely overnight! He had literally JUST turned thirty this past January, this wasn't supposed to happen for quite some time! Not only that, but it was a weird...patch. Like a spot. That wasn't how gray hair was supposed to work, right? He'd had the hiccups a lot lately too. Except they were more like...high pitched YELPS. Almost like a BARK. What the heck was up with his body?! This was not normal, none of this. He was seriously considering heading to St. Mungos and he NEVER went to the Healers. Because he was stubborn like that. As he entered the Ministry, he decided that he would at least make it to lunch, and then call it a day and head home early. It was Friday anyways, no harm in starting the weekend a little early... Sweating now, he loosened his tie a bit as he headed toward the atrium and then...suddenly....his legs were giving out. Dizzy and disoriented, the man fell to the floor, quite alarmed at how he had suddenly fallen down like that. He looked back at his feet only to find... He had no feet. OH MERLIN! HIS FEET HAD TURNED IN TO FLIPPERS! And that...was the last conscious thought Javier Hernandez had before he transformed completely, his brain being taken over Javi the Leopard Sea. He still knew who he was...sort of...but the confusion and alarm and straight up PANIC he was experiencing had taken over any rationale remaining in his mind. He knew he had to move, but...LEOPARDS COULDN'T WALK! There was no WATER here! This was all so terribly wrong! So the leopard started to thrash around, letting out a strangled sort of roar as he tried to move even just a few inches forward. |

That was the first thought that crossed Simon’s mind as he finished up checking on the wand weighers and headed towards the one entrance to see about wards. The second was that he wasn’t all that surprised by the seal’s presence there. Well maybe not in the Ministry of Magic, but the atrium seemed like more than an awkward place to find a marine animal. “Guess Creatures is missing a visitor,” the security man mused as he approached, his mind a whir on just what he was up against. Levitation seemed like the only option with anti-apparition effects in order. No way he could lift a heavy seal himself. Just HOW did it get in here in the first place after all? There was no water nor trail of water. Must be a prank of sorts. “Easy there, fella,” Simon tried to calm the creature down as it thrashed and roared, his own movements cautious as he reached for his wand. |

Also, how on EARTH had this even happened?! He had just been minding his own business, heading to work, and suddenly he became a seal. This was by far the weirdest thing that had EVER happened to him in his life. When he saw the Ministry working approaching, the SEAL part of his brain took over. WHOA WHOA WHOA WHAT WAS HE DOING? He was reaching for his wand! HE WAS GOING TO HURT HIM! NO NO NO! He just needed to get to WATER! Letting out another loud roar, he began to flail a bit more. What was he gonna DO?! |

Seal wailing was really, really loud, the security man wincing and quickly raising his hands to his ears in hopes of dulling it. “Nice seal…” he said softly as he debated what to do. Was the no water being a real problem? Seals did need a lot of water right? Lived in it at least part time. He freed one hand to cast discretely cast aquamenti to sprinkle water on the creature to help with that issue. Hopefully that would calm it somewhat so he could think without the loud crying. “See…I’m only trying to help.” No harm would come of the creature if he could help it. It wasn’t like it was a dark creature like a lethifold that he had to protect the ministry from. A seal was completely muggle and the only danger was of becoming deaf from the sound of its roaring. On second thought…more water, the man continuing the water spell to keep it hydrated. |
Javi the Seal wasn't quite sure what he was trying to accomplish anymore - to show the man that something was not right and he was ACTUALLY a person, to get to water, or to just...be somewhere that was not HERE. Also, he was suddenly hungry. The man didn't happen to have any fish on him, did he? He stopped moving as the man started to spray water in his face. Part of him was happy about that - but the other, human half was annoyed. HOW could he communicate with this guy that he needed to get in to the Ministry? To St. Mungos? Anywhere that wasn't in the middle of the Ministry entrances?! So, he rolled over to his stomach and began to sloooooowly inch his way towards the man. This was a lot harder to do when the surface wasn't slippery like ice... |
Let me know if it is okay to post it like this. Caleb glanced around, making sure that no muggles were looking. He liked this. Any muggle walking by would just think he was making a phone call. When Caleb was inside, he dialed the numbers 6-2-4-4-2. After stating his reason which was talking to somebody about a job opening, the booth made a slow decent down. |
