She couldn't help but smile at his words. Had she thrown him off guard? She surely didn't mean to startle, but all the same, she just smiled and walked over. "It's always good to rest up now and then. We have very stressful jobs at times. It isn't easy dealing with owners, teams, rules, and the public all at once." Shek new her own job was highly stressful at times, especially during off seasons when favorite players got traded or new rules went into public awareness.

"So what are you playing?" She glanced at it before going towards her favorite. Was it weird that a forty-something woman still loved pinball? She didn't care if it did, it had been her stress relief for the past decade that she worked in this department.

Fulton nodded as he listened to her answer, all the while hitting the button in quick succession as he moved the joystick on the game. He loved the quick reaction needed to play and beat the opponents the computer picked to fight his character. " This is true.. Honestly, I think I'd have lost my sanity long ago without a step back and away for a few minutes of decompression. ", he answered as he battled the digital fighter before him. Click Clickk, clackitty clack! as his fingers pressed the buttons feverishly.

" Oh.. Mortal Combat.. I love taking the stress of re-writing regulations and crunching numbers for budgets out on my imaginary foes.. ", He said with a little light chuckle. " I see ya like to play pinball... That would be my second choice in arcade games.. ", he added..

She watched with some interest. She was never one that got fully into the muggle games, but they were interesting. Her son did, however, enjoy them. It could be an age thing she assumed as well maybe? Either way she wasn't concerned and it was fun to watch others play.


"Mortal Combat? That sounds... awful. I think I'll stick with pinball." That's exactly where she headed. "It's a game I've enjoyed since a child. Hitting the little ball is just a relaxing thing to me." She played a little longer, "How are the things going in your area? How's racing season?" She always liked to keep track of the other areas just to support them. They were all a big group not just individual areas in her eyes.

Fulton chuckled at her reaction to his explanation of his favourite video game. " It's not for everyone.. But I know what you mean about pinball.. That's always my wind down game.. " , he answered as he took down yet another opponent onscreen.

Looks over his shoulder as she asks him about the progress his division had been making. " Oh.. The season's going well.. So far no major bumps, but again We're still in the re-building phase of things... You should bring your husband to the next race.. The schedule should be posted... How're things in your area?.."

Fulton too was a supportive member of his colleagues and their individual areas of expertise.

Hitting another ball up the board she smiled hearing the dings as it came down and she hit it again. Almost getting lost in the game she turned her head to look at him once more. "Really? It's been a few years I'm surprised the rebuild is taking that long." She tried to think about that division and who was all in it and all that was on their plate.
She could see things getting crazy with the rec leagues but she couldn't understand the horses taking too much time. "Yes, we might, though my husband isn't much for that sort of thing."


He may have been in years past, but not since they had been married and together and she was alright with keeping that life and everything from it behind them. "The usual trades, retirements, it's all a bit crazy as always.
" She loved this time of year though, it was what kept her on her toes.
"Got any favorite players?" It had been awhile since they had any stop by the offices, maybe she could change that.

Fulton nodded and walked over to her machine though back a bit, but watching all the same as she asked her question and spoke. " We're nearing the end of the revitalization plans for the three major track. What we're bucking up against is the owners and jockeys when it comes to the regulation reformations and amendments we're trying to institute for safety.. Not only that of the animals, but also their jockeys.. "

He shook his head at the inquiry about a favourite player. The truth was that he had left quidditch behind when his career had ended in the painful injury that still haunted him to this very day. " Nah.. I haven't followed the game for quite some time, to be honest... Brings up too many things for me.", he side as he absent mindedly rubbed his aching shoulder.

Wow and here she thought the Quidditch people were a bit uptight, but to take three years to accomplish something? She really couldn't see Mariel allowing this, but maybe there was something out of her control. "Well I guess you'll get it going soon enough." She hit another ball to head up to the start and started hitting the buttons as it came to the levers. "Animal safety has to be the top of priority in a sport like that, it's all you need is animal activist coming at you with a case." She could just see the headache now.

"Oh, well that's okay, Quidditch isn't for everyone. It's been my life for way too long, I'm not sure what I'd do without it. Now that Bart is playing for one of the teams it looks like it will be part of us for a long time." Though she didn't mind it, but being the head of the quidditch division and her son being on one of the teams caused a stir every once in awhile.
