It had been good working here so far, no issues with his fellow co-workers. But, it made it awkward around the ludocris patents office. The last thing on his mind was the Culloden who was in the Quidditch Department. It crossed his mind once during the meeting, but had ceased to resurfice since then. Why would Kirby even think about a Culloden?

After her words with Benji this morning and then a few annoying owls from a certain manager, Victoria found herself needing a break. Getting up from her desk she made her way to the coffee cart and order a nice large Hazelnut coffee. Seeing a glimpse of the lounge, she decided that a longer break today wouldn't hurt. She had taken a bit more potion for her cold and she was just dragging at her desk, a quick pin ball game or something fun would certainly do the trick.

As she made her way into the game room she noticed the very large man that had been at the meeting. "Mr... .Kriby?" Was that it? She hoped at least, she hated getting names wrong. "I hope you are settling in nicely." He was working for an amazing manager so she was certain he didn't have any issues. Though Ryan was a bit different, so he might find his coworkers rather interesting, but still Adam was a great manager so she figured it all ran pretty smoothly.

His eyes turned away from the Chess set that he was gracefully loosing too, and put his attention to the woman who had just entered the Lounge and greeted him. "Please, just Kirby will do." he raised his hand and wiggled his wrist around as if he was Dismissing the Mister in his name. He was used to being JUST Kirby in his short time at Hogwarts, and he could easily convince Children to call him by that. "You must be Ms. Culloden?". This was the chance he had to confirm her relationship to Cosgratch. Hopefully Culloden is only a Common Surname. He stood up and walked over to her offering an outstetched hand to shake. "Settling in just nicely." He nodded. "Still have a box of my things sitting around my work space, but shouldn't take me to long to arrange it all."

Just Kirby, alright she could remember that. Taking his hand she gave him a shake. "Please just call me Victoria or Vic. That's what everyone else does around here. We are a pretty laid back group on level seven, so no need for such formal ways." They were professional, but easy going professional when it came to names. "I couldn't help but feel like I recognized your name though. What have you done before coming to the ministry if you don't mind me asking." She was sure she had heard that name before. Had Bart said it? No, it probably wasn't.

"Well that's good. I can't wait to see what inventions and ideas you come up with. I always enjoy popping over to your offices from time to time. Adam always has the neatest things to show." The invisible broom was the most exciting, but she still had the joke Gobstones on her mind. Maybe she'd have to see if he ever got those marketed.

"The Arrows" That was maybe where she heard of him, though she had been in Australia most likely during the time of his Quidditch Career. She was half surprised she didn't end up with him in Quidditch being a previous player, though if he was in patents then his inventing was probably worth while. Hogwarts, "That's it." "I might take you up on that offer during our busy time." If they held a meet and greet again or even the youth camp she was thinking about, it might not be a bad thing to have him around. Though she'd never take him from Adam without asking to make sure it was alright. She knew they were super busy as well. "Adam has proven his worth here in our department. He has been working here since before I started six years ago. He is a excellent inventor and him becoming a manager was well over due." She was very proud of her friend and fellow manager.

Orsino Kirby's eyes widened. Not from joy that she recognized him from his Arrow years, but from both Bart, and Cosgratch! Now here comes the tricky part.

The way he said Bart's name, she wasn't if that was a good thing or a bad. Then his words that followed made her really raise an eye brow. "Interesting? I'm assuming he caused you some trouble by the way you say it." Not surprising, she wasn't naive with her son, she knew he got into trouble. He had gotten suspended his school before Hogwarts, so she wasn't blind.

Oh his other comment made her laugh and she didn't catch his quiet comment. "I don't know if he really minds to be honest. Potions is sort of his thing, plus he is the one that actually set us up. It's such a sweet story really. I had been going through a hard time and he had sent me an owl saying I had to come to Hogsmeade he needed to see me. When I got there no Bart, just Cossy getting a similar note from him." She chuckled knowing he probably didn't care about their story.

"Did you know Cossy well?" she loved to get to know Cossy's friends so this was interesting they both worked with someone.

He'd have to stop him if he saw him, Vic thought this was very interesting. Had he not fully met his manager yet? That was interesting if he hadn't, but Adam had nine kids she wasn't sure how he kept up with everything having nine children. He was sort of her hero in that sense. He had so many children, was so in love with his wife still from what she saw, and was an amazing manager. She didn't know how he did it so well.

Relining further back in the chair, Adam lifted his grey-blue eyes, previously scanning the Daily Prophet, to look out across the rather empty games room. It wasn't a surprise, though, considering how early it was, and considering the fact that the hand that wasn't holding the 'paper was nursing his first coffee of the day.

Decaf, though - Lorelai would be proud to know that he was switching. Slowly but surely, because he was getting lines in places he didn't need them (like on his face!), even if he would never admit it when Corb pointed them out. Soon he'd be back on normal tea, he promised himself, unconvincingly. Crossing one leg over the other, the man considered whether or not he could finish his read before he was due to start work, and turned his gaze back to the words. It was a day of big tasks, and he could finally start sorting getting these brooms marketed, now all of the kinks had been worked out.

She had left that schedule somewhere, now where had she left it. Seriously it wasn't that big of a deal since it was just a draft, but she'd like to have it for reference as she designed the other one. Victoria's thoughts were on trying to retrace her steps as she started her day. She knew she went to the coffee cart, and had a meeting in the food court, plus she had went to plan the photoshoot, but that was in the conference room with a few possible photographers.

So where could she have left this schedule. Moving into the game room she knew she had come in here for a moment during her break, so maybe it was left here. Not noticing Adam at first she made her way over to her favorite game, the pin ball machine. "There you are." She bent down and picked up the parchment laying on the floor under the chair next to the machine. So it had been lost in here during her break, well she was glad it hadn't been swept away by anyone cleaning last night.

Sipping at his mug, Adam turned the page of the 'paper and began to pursue the sports section, so engrossed was he that he didn't noticed Victoria enter the room. If he had, of course he would have offered help with whatever task at hand, but as it was, he jumped slightly at her exclamation, before breathing a quick sigh of relief and shuffling the newspaper away. He'd finish it on his break later.

"Sleep is for the childless," he couldn't help but remind her with a quick laugh, before sitting up a little straighter and pulling on his trouser leg to straighten them out. "You and I both know that it's almost impossible for me to make Lor mad." And it was obvious that he, too, was joking. Maybe getting her pregnant again would be the final straw, Adam couldn't help but joke to himself. Ten would be a number that was probably impossible to cope with. [~~hahahaha the irony~~]

And that was saying something, as they were barely coping with nine, although the decaf mission was some start to normalcy. "How's the campaign going?"

She laughed at his words, "Right? I'm not sure the last time I've gotten a full nights sleep, though I might get to blame work for some of it." She grinned knowing any sleep she missed do to work was her own damn fault. She got so wrapped up in doing work things that she'd look at the time not realizing it was very early in the morning and she hadn't went to bed yet. "Oh of course. I just don't see you making anyone mad Adam, no way." Though she was only half joking. Adam was so easy to get along with she really couldn't see people getting upset with him easily, but a wife always had her reasons.

She shrugged at his question, knowing that he knew most of it being that she was at his house now more then him some days. She met Lori often there to work on things. "Well it's going, I've met with some departments, now Lori and I are just organizing a few things for speaking events and I need to figure out some campaign posters." She was glad others offered to do that part because she certainly was not good at the creative side of things. She could plan events, but draw or make a poster was not her cup of tea.

It wasn't uncommon to see her at his house working late with his wife on campaign things. No one could deny that knew her well she was taking this campaign seriously and trying her best. "Oh I know you are. I find you as one of the perfect coworkers as well." She did find him to be a great manager of his department and she felt blessed to work with him, though no one was truly perfect.

"How are things going in your department by the way? Alex seems like a good worker." She had only met him at the meeting, but he was very attentive and seemed eager to do his job.

It was the beginning of a new year at the Ministry and, while Mariel knew it was a good idea to have a department meeting right away to talk about any plans they might have, she wanted to do things a little differently this time. She thought the game room might be a fun, casual place to get together and talk business. Sure, she was rarely a casual person, but it was fun to change things up once in a while and it might help with productivity.

The Department Head brought in an extra table on which she had Isobel help her bring in different little sandwiches and appetizers for their mid-morning get-together, many of them Spanish themed. The 7 1/2 month pregnant woman craved Spanish food right now, so it was what she brought. She helped the level's barista to arrange some drinks at one end of the table as well, then took a seat by the mini-gobstones set-up, with her own plate of food, and waited for the rest of her employees to come in.

Deliah entered the game room for the meeting and saw her department head Mariel the only person who was there at the moment and said "Good morning Mariel" Deliah was in one sense glad to be back at work it seemed like she had missed a lot

And he was back.

After a hectic holiday with his now COMPLETE ~~and probably maybe staying that way~~ family, Adam would be one of the first to admit that he missed work. Sure, he loved his kids - ALL TEN OF THEM - more than anything in the world, but still... He enjoyed being important and doing his job and not having to deal with pre-teen arguments and crying toddlers.

It was almost funny to think that back in their seventh year, he'd actually convinced Lorelai to stay with him and not have children.

Ruffling his hair up slightly, and wondering whether or not he was pulling off the stubble and the tired eyes, the Division Head sauntered into the games room and pulled up a chair next to his Department Head. "Deliah, good to see you again. Mariel - you're glowing even more."

He was so glad that he had gotten to the Ministry of Magic early! Archer was pretty sure that he had gotten lost on his way to level seven. How fancy was that? Level seven! It was like something out of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D all superhero like. Superhero awesomeness was his weakness and his adorable daughter, Laila. Sadly Archer wasn't a superhero just a retired Pro-Quidditch player. He wasn't sure what it was going to be like at a 'desk' job. The man knew that it would take some getting used to but hopefully he would adjust to it pretty fast and easily. Fingers crossed.

Game room, game room! New guy coming through! Looking around at some signs, Archer had a feeling that he was at the correct level and room. The twenty-eight year old looked at everyone that was there so far. Pretty small crowd right now. Archer wasn't one to freak out about what kind of clothes he should wear but today was very important! He didn't want to come off as a slob or anything like that because he wasn't. Archer gave a small wave, no one would probably see it but duuuuuude he was so nervous.

He looked around some more before saying. "Hi." Now the hard part was done and over with. Phew!

Yoona was SO nervous. It was just a meeting. A pretty fun and casual one too. There was no need to get all tense because of it. She took a deep breath outside the game room and went in, quickly putting on a smile.

There were tables with some of her favorite games set up - pool, wizard's chess and GOBSTONES. Yoona's dark brown eyes paused briefly on the mini gobstones arena, then travelled over to the people sitting around it. Her new peers. She took a seat across a pregnant woman and greeted the small group. "Good morning," This wasn't the whole department was it? The forty year old looked around and waited for more people to come in.

Pregnancy did many things, MANY things, so as Victoria walked to the seven floor and passed the conference room where normally they had their meetings she chuckled to herself. She adored that they were having the meeting in the Game room, but her best friend and boss was usually a formal one, so for her to change it up was great, but also brow raising. Was Mariel wanting to have a little fun or was her cute little newest baby to spoil giving mommy new inspiration.

Which ever it was, Victoria enjoyed the idea and was beaming as she walked into the room. She knew she wasn't the first one as she usually was, but all three girls were home so it took a bit longer to get all three of the ready. "Good Morning everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday." She certainly had, but she didn't really get to mingle with many at the orientation. Looking for a seat, hmmm a creature of habit found this very difficult. She always sat in the same place at the conference table, but this wasn't the table. Well there was an empty seat next to Mariel on side Adam was not so she went there. "I like the new meeting place Mariel. Adam maybe I can beat you in a game of Gobstones later, " joking she took her seat. It was good to be back!

Ferris loathed the idea of interacting with his co-workers. Really anyone outside of his mother. Even she could be terrifying to socialise with when it came down to it.

The idea of a GROUP meeting with all of the people in his department in one place looking at each other and talking was enough to make him want to pass out from sheer shock and overwhelming...feelings. Bad ones.

So he slunk in and found and seat trying to make himself very, very small.

The game room? It seemed like such a strange place for Mariel to hold a meeting. With her department head being so formal with business. She liked the idea though. Mercedes was excited to be back working. But she already missed her baby. Spending the entire break with her two favorite people.

Now being back at work was nice but it wasn't the same as being a home with them. Chris was also back at work, and Harper had daycare. Although Mercedes was wanted to look into getting her in the daycare here so she could be close to mommy. Her seven month old would spend summers off with her dad so Mercedes needed her time with her too. It was in the same building not the same but close enough.

The twenty four year old headed into the game room. Where she met many of her co workers there already. Not as shy as she was three years ago. She smiled happily. "Good morning, everyone." She said greeting everyone there. She could grab a plate and some food, right? "Hello, Mariel. You look radiant this morning." As a beautiful pregnant woman should. She missed those days. Kind of, maybe in a few more years. Spotting her manager too. "Victoria, did you have a good holiday?" The blonde found a seat next to a new guy (Archer). "Hi, Mercedes Phillips. Quidditch PR." She smiled and put her hand out.

As Archer found a suitable seat he looked around at everyone. It seemed as if everyone new each other already. So there weren't many people that were new in this department. He didn't know how he felt about that. Was he the only new person in this group? He sure hoped he wasn't. As a few minutes passed he saw a blonde woman sit down next to him. He gave a smile as she introduced herself. "Hi. I'm Archer Cash." He smile and shook her hand. "Lovely to meet you." He added.

Why was no one eating anything? This was the ever-pressing thought going through Mariel's head as people in the department started trickling in. Still, she smiled pleasantly at each one as she ate her chicken croquette.

"Hello, Delilah.. How nice to see you again, I hope everything's back to normal?" She didn't know all the details, but the woman had been on an extended leave due to what must have been a dreadful illness. Hopefully it wouldn't take her too long to catch back up but she was sure Saxon could help her out with that.

"Why, thank you, Adam," she smiled at her Patents Division Manager as he entered the room next, her hand subconsciously going to her belly. "How's the family?" It was still ten children, right? She watched him carefully. Yes, he did look rather tired, but a family that large would likely have that effect on anyone. She didn't know how they did it to be honest.

Oh and there were some new faces, must be their newest employees. "Hello," she smiled pleasantly at them both, nodding for them to come in and sit. "I'm Mariel De La Garza, the Department Head for Magical Games and Sports," she introduced herself to them. "You must be.." Ugh, pregnancy brain.. she had a momentary lapse in memory and flipped through the papers she had laid on the small table next to her. "Archer Cash and Kim Yoona? Welcome.." She'd get up and introduce them around, but it was easier for this pregnant woman to sit. Her department was friendly enough, they'd introduce themselves and make the new ones feel welcome, she was certain.

"Hi, Vic," she smiled as her best friend took the seat next to hers. No need to ask how her holidays were as she had just seen her at the orientation thing. She massaged a spot on her belly, trying to get the baby to move his foot out of her ribs, and nodded at Victoria's words. "I thought this might be a fun change for today. Keep everyone on their toes," she added with a chuckle. They didn't have anything too pressing to talk about, just a few minor things, so casual was okay for once in a while. Yet, still no one was eating. She folded up her tortilla and dipped it into a small bowl of sauce as she looked around to see who they were still missing.

Green eyes followed the next person to walk in and she gave him a smile also, even if he didn't seem to look too impressed to be there. At least he was present. "Hello, Mr. Karten." Ever the wallflower. Really, she should go take the seat next to him and talk to him a little more, but so much effort to get up at this stage in her pregnancy. She did need his assistance later though.

And there was Mercedes. Good, that was almost all of them. "Hello, Mercedes, thank you," she smiled at the blonde woman. "How's Harper doing?" Must be about seven months or so. Mariel remembered that Mercedes had had her right about the same time she found out she was pregnant.

She let them socialize with each other a few more minutes, eating a little more from her plate. "Welcome back, everyone. I hope you all had a nice holiday.. Please help yourself to some food and drinks. Really. I don't need to eat it all myself... but I will if no one else does." Sure, she was hungry all the time with a growing unborn child inside of her, but she really didn't think she needed to be any bigger than she was. "We'll get started in just a minute and talk about the few things we need to do this year." She wanted to wait for Saxon to talk about Gobstones. And then when they were finished, maybe they could play a few games.
