Booths & Displays Welcome to the main event! The tradeshow is always buzzing with new vendors each year. This year the best companies have been selected and there is something for everyone's liking. Do you want to try out some new nail polishes, the new line of makeup, or go to table three and see what beauty supplies are waiting for you? If hair care is what you are after check out Sleekeazy, Inc for their latest hair care products, or Darling Buds is waiting to help you out. The lastest quidditch brooms are always a top item to find and so are the flying carpets. Scented floo powder can be found at table five, and cauldrons can be found on table six from Cooper Cauldrons. Make sure you check your schedules for the presentations of the day and don't miss any of the great new things coming in 2095! |
anyone Victoria had been hearing about this tradeshow for months and honestly, she wasn't sure if she cared to come or not. It sounded fun, but at the same time it sounded crowded, but the fact that there were new brooms to see she was certainly there. Maybe they could get some deals with the newest models for the teams. That would get her in the good graces of some, at least she assumed it would. Heading into the tradeshow with her little goodie back Victoria made her way first to the brooms, but she soon found herself moving to the other vendors looking at all that they had to offer. What was new and exciting was actually pretty exciting. Maybe she could get an entire makeover before leaving the building. |
SPOILER!!: Victoria! <3 An international trade show sounded very appealing to Lucas from the moment he heard about it. Never having been to one, he was quite open minded about this one. With a few options of what to do here, he decided to get started with the vendors. Who knows? Maybe he would find something that appealed to him or something that Tallie and Brody would like. He approached the booths. There were quite a few familiar faces including Victoria. "Hey, Victoria. How's it going?" Lucas grinned. He always enjoyed talking to her. There was much that could be learnt from her experience at the Ministry. |
Mariel didn't normally go to these sorts of trade shows, but she was interested in seeing what new brooms and gobstones might be available, plus she knew how hard Erec worked to organize this event and she wanted to support him. Once she arrived, she headed immediately towards the booths promoting games and sports supplies. And she had to chuckle, seeing who else was already there. "Fancy meeting you here," she said with an amused smile as she approached Victoria and Lucas. She was glad they both showed enough professional interest to see what the trade show would hold in terms of Quidditch equipment. "Have you found anything exciting yet?" |
Open! Harper didn't really like shopping, nor did she care for the latest things - she was usually the one going on about an 'amazing new product' two years after everyone had gotten over it. But, of course, she worked at the Ministry, at the department of International Cooperation no less, and so she was there bright and early with the first patrons, trying to look eager as she inspected the wares on display. Of course, she hadn't realised that there would be refreshments, and had pouted a little when she noticed that little area. Honestly, why had she eaten before she left the house? That looked like the preferable area to be. |
Mariel and Lucas The brooms were amazing and shew as going to really try to start getting some deals going for the teams. She had her work cut out for her, but it wasn't something she dreaded, she did enjoy the challenge. Her eyes moved when she heard the familiar voice. " Hello Lucas, finding anything interesting yet?" She turned back to the brooms and took a few pamphlets that were around. "Things are going well. I think I want to try to make a deal with one or two of these companies to get their latest brooms for the upcoming seasons. " She was just picking up the last when she noticed another person coming towards them, "Just some great new brooms. I think we should try them out. I heard there is a testing room here." Research and all, though it sounded like a fun time as well. "What about you two, found anything interesting?" |
Effie was receiving LOOKS left and right. Not that she minded them in the slightest. Being a creature of beauty, a moving and breathing work of art, she was used to it after all of these years. Perhaps being part-vela had something to do with it. Or perhaps it was just her style of fashion that struck people. No matter reason for peoples' gawking, she confidently continued on her way over to the booth Mr. Paton said she'd be at. Without a word, she set a large Sleekeazy, Inc. case on the table and became removing some of the hair-care potions within. Her long fingernails clinked against some of the bottles as she strategically set them down on the table. Austere Augurey ... Flamboyant Fwooper (one of its colours she was wearing today) ... Hazardous Horntail ... Opulent Occamy ... Plump Puffskein ... Voluptuous Veela. Magical creatures were making a comeback. They were all the rage. Once everything was in place, the woman took out a handheld mirror from her obnoxiously large purse and did a glam check. Eyebrows on fleek, check. Pink hair still popping, check. Headpiece shimmering in the light, check. The queen was ready. Demarcus was laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate. Or was everyone else just early? Regardless, he was rolling his way past vendors and people as quickly as his purple roller blades would allow. It was a miracle that he hadn't run someone over or dropped the huge bag of Darling Buds' finest Flora-Gro. Even the crazy cool look that one chick at the Sleekeazy booth was sporting didn't cause him to make a detour. "Coming through!" he shouted, his company's booth finally in sight. After whizzing between more bodies, the bag was loudly plopped onto the table. The man "Not looking so good, buddy," he whispered to the Bouncing Bulb, which didn't seem up to bouncing much today. Demarcus gently placed a hand on the plant, reassuring that he'd be feeling spick and span in no time. He just needed an audience to see the magic Flora-Gro could do. |

Mariel glanced past Victoria to the brooms on display as the other woman mentioned them, then back to Vic again and she nodded. "I was actually just coming over here to look at them." Which really should be no surprise to anyone. "I have high hopes for this year's new models." "A testing room? That sounds like a perfect idea." She wouldn't mind trying out some brooms herself. The department head started over towards the booth with some of the newest brooms on display when she was nearly run down by a man rushing past her. "Excuse you." She gave the man (Demarcus) an unimpressed look as he passed without so much as an apology. Rude. Some people had no manners. |
Lucas grinned at Victoria. "The broomsticks of course. I'm looking to get a new one for Brody.'' His nephew loved Quidditch as much as he himself did and it warmed Lucas's heart. He had thought it was time that he found out the latest and most upgraded one so that he buy it when it was ready for sale. His eyes went to the brooms. "We definitely should give them a try. Don't you think so, Mariel?'' he questioned his boss who had just joined them. "After all, we don't want to be left behind in time.'' It was part of the Department's job to deal with these latest models. Lucas watched with interest as two other persons started setting up shop, especially that beauty (Effie). His eyes followed her with great attention and intensity. Not to mention his mouth was slightly ajar. WHAT A LOOKER SHE WAS! |
