| | |  J.K. Rowling confirms 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' is NOT Tom Riddle
J.K. Rowling took to Twitter on Friday to give just the slightest bit of information about the upcoming Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play, noting that the child in question is NOT Tom Riddle, but a name fans will recognize. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will open at the Palace Theatre next summer in London.
Rowling also admitted that a Patronus Charm was too difficult for Hagrid to produce.
The Harry Potter author was also on board with the famed Dumbledore-as-Death theory going around (that Dumbledore was Death in The Tale of the Three Brothers while Voldemort, Snape and Harry emulated the three wizards in question).

Everybody loves a good villain-turned-okay-guy. lol yeah. it would be a nice segway if it was about Petunia, since the play was supposed to focus more on the Muggle world (again iirc). im guessing its someone obscure though? or not that obvious on the first thought, but would fit someone who is cursed or feels cursed.
