| | | Cumbrian landscape to feature in Half-Blood Prince Scanachrome, a company that has made giant stage set graphics for all the previous Harry Potter films, has created a humongous image of Cumbria, a mountainous rural county in North-west England that is considered one of the most beautiful areas of the U.K., for use in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Quote:
[Scanachrome] specialises in the production of graphics to almost unlimited size for use in almost any environment to include sports stadia branding, TV and theatrical sets , building wraps, internal and external advertising banners and exhibitions.
On the Harry Potter film its experts created an image that was 13.2 metres high and 156 metres long to depict the Cumbrian landscape at Shepperton Studios.
Below is an actual image of Lake District National Park in Cumbria.

Woohoo! I live in Cumbria,Not the rural bit but its only bout 30mins drive for my town.
Skelmersdale is about 30mins drive. I love living here, can get abit boring sometimes but Manchester is only a couple of hours away. And there is always the views to cheer us up. xx

Why can't they take photos?
Why does everything have to be computerised in the world? Where is the beauty if it's not natural?
