Samira's new sunglasses were still perched on her face. Her older cousin bought them for her and she was in love. The had small diamonds around the large, black frames, and Samira thought they made her look, well...glamorous. Of course, the things her family buy her didn't make up for them never being there for her, but it sure helped. Looking over, Samira saw another girl, maybe a few years older than herself. She had a little dog with her, and Samira felt her heart melt. She didn't gush though. Instead she commented, "Oh, cute dog," coolly. She glanced up. "Mind if I pet her?" Samira wasn't just going to go around touching other people's animals. Plus, she wanted to start a conversation. She played with the ring around her finger and glanced back at the dog through her sunglasses. |

"He's not a dog. He's a fox. But, shure you can pet 'im. 'is names Levi." Penny studied the girl a few more moments. She looked to be a bit younger then herself and seemed a bit fidgety. Penny wiped her hand on her wranglers and then stuck it out. "I'm Penelope Lockwood. Penny, if ya don't mind." Her southern accent rang clear as she spoke giving testament for the billionth time that day that she was a little out of place. Oh well, being different was good. |
Quote:
"A fox," she gave the faintest hint of a smile. "Very cool." The Slytherin bent down carefully and patted the fox a bit. She stood up as tall and confident as she could. "Hello, Penny. My name is Samira. Samira Spinks." She shook Penny's hand. Samira made sure her handshake was firm, not weak or limp or flimsy. Handshakes say a lot about someone's personality. Samira finally pushed her sunglasses off her face and let them rest on her head, revealing her bright eyes. Time to make eye-contact. "Sooo," she drawled, smiling a little. "I take it you're not from here?" |
Quote:
Penny watched as Samira pushed her sunglasses up to reveal her eyes which were sparkling and bright. That was the first thing she liked to look at on a person. The eyes could tell you more then ever the person could. Penny liked Samira's eyes. They were open and honest. She chuckled and shook her head. "Nope." She rocked back on her heels a bit and shrugged. " 's that obvious?" |
Quote:
It was true. You didn't see many people openly different like Penny. Samira admired that about her. Usually, Samira had to really know a person to warm up to them, but she already liked Penny's character and charm. "So where are you from then?" Obviously not London, so Samira was curious. |

Penny chuckled a little and shrugged. "Tennessee. My Papa owns a ranch and a restaurant out there." |
Zara <3 Fallon walked into the Menagerie, pockets filled with money. She was here to buy stuff for Snuggles Anyways...that wasn't the only reason she was here. She was also going to meet Chandler her and catch up with him and all that stuff since she hadn't talked to him in a while. So yeah. She was here to browse for food, toys, animals, and to find a Chandler that was probably hiding somewhere. Chandler hunting was going to actually be fun. |
Quote:
Eh, he could wait. It was more important that he had found Fallon or waited seeing as he had no idea if he was late or early. "Fallon?" He casually called out. He wasn't going to just shout her name out into the whole shop now was he? |
Quote:
Fallon was walking through the display aisles. She was on the hunt for Chandler. She was thinking about making Chandler hunting a new game, when she heard someone say her name. Someone that sounded like Chandler. Fallon walked down the aisle, towards where she heard the voice come from. She spotted him and his back was to her. She walked up behind him and said, "Hey Chandler!" somewhat loudly. Which probably wasn't the best idea since the shop was kinda quiet... |
Quote:
"WOAH! 'Ey, don't DO zat to me!" Chandler shouted after he heard someone shout RIGHT behind him. He turned around and glared at them before realising that it was actually Fallon. FAIL. "You COULDN'T 'ave been a bit louder even if you tried." He frowned again, rubbing his ears. "Now apologise." Yes, she HAD to. |
Quote:
She burst out in laughter after he freaked out when she yelled in his ear. Fallon thought it was kind of funny. "Why? It's fun to go Chandler hunting." Oops. Maybe she shouldn't have said the Chandler hunting thing out loud. The coffee was not allowing her to think straight. Fallon shrugged her shoulders. "I probably could, but I don't think it would be right to disrupt the peace anymore." The shop was pretty quiet after all, even with all of the animals. She watched as he rubbed his ears. She couldn't have been THAT loud. "Why? What did I do?" Hehe. He was not getting an apology easily. Nope. |

Hmm...Tennessee...oh yeah! A lightbulb switched on in Samira's head. "Tennessee! Yeah, I think I've passed by there when we were traveling around America." Of course, Samira "lived" in America, but she didn't really consider it her home, since she traveled so much. "That's actually pretty cool. What do you do on a ranch?" Samira also wondered what kind of restaurant her...Papa...owned, but resolved to only ask one question at a time. She herself didn't like to be bombarded with questions, so why do the same to someone else? |
Quote:
Chandler frowned deeply. This WASN'T funny. He didn't see how it was, then again he didn't see how much was anyway. 'Ow iz zis funny?!" He exclaimed with flailing arms, he'd honestly like to know how it was. Having your ears nearly damaged wasn't fun at all. "...........Chandler 'unting?" WHAT? o___O Was she obsessed with him or something? He eyed her carefully and took a visible step back. Yeah, he'd just...back away from her for a bit until she calmed down or whatever. He shook his head but smiled. "Oh of course not because you didn't do it right zen when you shouted at in my ears." Noooo, he wasn't fearing that he could lose his hearing in any second. "What did you do? Well apart from nearly deafening me, nothing at all!" |
Quote:
Oh. That's what the problem was. "Well...I guess that would be a good reason too." She hadn't thought of that. "Oh right. I'm sorry for yelling in your ear and nearly deafening you Chan." Eh. Fallon just shortened his name. She was lazy. |
Quote:
He rolled his eyes. He was amused, he was always amused at what Fallon did because she was funny. "Yeah, it iz." He snorted. "Zank you and it's alright." He smiled, as long as he wasn't deaf which he appeared not to be he was fine. |
Quote:
Fallon pretended to look upset at his eye rolling. It wasn't nice, but it was amusing so she let it slide. "No problem. Sooooooo..." She didn't know what to talk about now. |

Zoning back in to the conversation Penny thought about Samira's question. It was a little odd but considering the source it wasn't surprising. "We heard cattle and raise horses on ours. Papa's also got some hippogriffs and Abraxan's that he trains." Penny had been raised around creatures her whole life and was completely at home with them. She couldn't wait to take a Care of Magical Creatures class and extend her already vast knowledge on the subject. "So, where you from?" |
Quote:
Wow. "Um, wow," she said repeating her thoughts. "You raise and herd cattle and horses?!" Samira whistled, impressed. "I can't even keep track of my earrings and shoes!" The thought of raising a lot-and much bigger-animals slightly baffled Samira. She wondered how it worked. She perked up at the word 'Hippogriff'. Hippogriffs were one of her favorite creatures. Her eyes sparkled. "Aren't Hippogriffs some of the most beautiful creatures you have ever seen? I love them!" Samira's enthusiasm was evident, and she worked to control herself. Smiling a little, she answered Penny's question calmly and coolly. "Originally, I was born in America, but I don't really think that counts as my home." Okay, that sounded confusing. Samira decided to clarify. "My family travels. A lot. So whenever we're together, or I'm back from Hogwarts, we're on the move. New places, new cultures." Sometimes it got a bit tiering, but Samira couldn't really say she didn't enjoy it. It would just be nice to...you know...relax sometimes. |

"Actually, I'll be starting next term," Orabelle said, glancing at the cat sticking it's paw out. If that thing tried to swipe at her... ugh. Orabelle would not be responsible for what would happen to it. "I've heard it was... decent... but anything decent by the people I've heard from, it must be terrible," Orabelle sighed. Yes, how could anyone trust what a normal person with no fashion sense on a new place? The place was bound to be crawling with all sorts of animals and Orabelle did not do animals that crawled or slimed around. And she didn't do rats, which was what the school was bound to be filled with. "Orabelle Bianca Bellamonte, Beauxbatons transfer," Orabelle said in a bit of a regal tone of voice. |
Quote:
Turning her attention back to the girl Hallie smiled at her, "I'm a transfer as well." She nodded, "From New York." She added on, her brain suddenly tried shifting gears into making another plan at escaping London and going back to New York. "Hogwarts, just the name of it doesn't even sound pleasing." Hallie sighed, at least the two of them were in it together right? Meh. Hallie could hold her own, but she assumed it was okay to know someone else wasn't thrilled at the prospect of going to Hogwarts either. |
Virgo went inside directly to this aisle in the store. She was looking for food to feed her owl. She took out a bag of owl food found in one aisle. She tried looking around for the moment to see what else could she buy for her owl back home. She saw a grooming brush, well, she doesn't know if an owl needs one but who knows? Gofer, their house elf, is the one who cleans their owls at home. She also remembered her mother mentioning once about getting her cat some fragrant shampoo. Ugh! cats! Virgo is not much of the animal type. She had an owl but that's just it. She found a big bottle of shampoo that is intended for washing for animals. "I guess these are enough." she whispered as she looked at all the items she will be buying. Now, she's off to the counter! |
display room Severina darts over to the display room, Sage handinging on to her for dear life...( It's hard to say who is more hyper at this moment Severina or Sage) Oh great here's some magical cat toys and some food, she grabs a few and head back to the counter:snape2::pea: |

"Lovely place I've heard," Orabelle said. Though she didn't think anything could beat France. France was amazing. And nothing could beat it. Orabelle smirked. "Yeah well, it's Hogwarts," she said with a shrug. And she wanted to make sure her room was going to be perfect. Orabelle glanced around the place again. "You'd think such a place would have... less people," she said, more to herself than everything. The whole place seemed to be filled with buzzing little first years, excited to get a pet. Please, Orabelle got her first pet when she was six. |

Now all Chandler did was frown, he frownned at Fallon's expression. Whoops? :/ "Umm..you okay?" He'd totally apologise if she wasn't. "Zoooooo what?" Yeah. He was confused. |
