Kitchen https://i.postimg.cc/pXY4DJHm/kitchen-banner.jpg Once you've tickled the pear and turned the knob, the Hogwarts kitchen will be revealed to you. Located directly beneath the Great Hall, the kitchen is a high-ceilinged room with five identical tables to the ones in the dining room above. Unlike the room situated above however, heaped around the walls are large quantities of pots and pans. On one end of the room are shelves of plates and utensils, stoves, sinks, and a large brick fireplace. |
Open! :) Miguel Rosales was hungry. How hungry, exactly, was still to be determined. That was the question occupying the second year's thoughts as he made his way down toward the Hogwarts kitchens, one hand pressed against his stomach as if doing so might help him measure the severity of the situation. He'd narrowed his options down to three possibilities. Peanut butter and jelly meant a little hungry. Easy. Two pieces of bread, peanut butter on one, jelly on the other, smash them together. Done. He could make that himself without bothering any of the house-elves. Grilled cheese meant properly hungry. That required a little more effort, but Miguel was fairly confident he could manage bread, cheese, butter, and heat without setting anything on fire. Probably. But there was a third possibility: a luau. Miguel's eyebrows rose at the thought as he reached the familiar painting of the fruit bowl. Now, that was the sort of meal reserved for being absolutely, positively, could-eat-an-entire-hippogriff starving. Not that Miguel had ever actually been to a luau or really knew much about them. He just knew there was supposed to be a lot of food involved, which seemed like the important part. He tickled the pear until it giggled and transformed into the handle that admitted him into the enormous kitchen. "¡Hola!" Miguel announced cheerfully to no one in particular as he stepped inside, immediately assaulted by approximately twelve different delicious smells. |
