Tipsy Turvy Narrator: So we all know what Voldemort did and how he fell. Harry Potter's greatest weapon was love, which albeit somewhat disappointing, is still impressive in its own right. Who'd have thought that Voldemort would have fallen just because he couldn't sum up a little remorse? So let's say that Voldemort did feel some remorse. His soul regenerated but then he was unable to live with what he had done. He died of shock. Harry Potter never married Ginny Weasley, and Ron and Hermione had a big falling out. In fact, they all went their separate ways, and hadn't spoken much after they left Hogwarts once and for all. Harry Potter, always having had something of a temper and not much of a positive outlook, felt betrayed by Dumbledore still. Even more, he doubted the goodness of remorse. To be more precise, he doubted the good in goodness. Hermione ran off with Viktor Krum and it was something of a scandal. The fraternization was short-lived and she eventually returned home to the UK. She eventually became obsessed with dress robe couture. Her old personality still stood, but she was up to her now tamed locks of hair in a topic that would have never interested her in her school years. She had various levels of education in all sorts of fields, and instead she began making ball gowns for very wealthy witches. Ron developed a greater work ethic but still retained his tried and true snarky personality. Well, a work ethic in one sense of the word. After losing his parents in the war (oh yes, they were lost in battle this time around), he began procuring items for certain, shady individuals. That's right; Ron became a thief. Oh, but good old Draco. This time around, he took up Dumbledore's offer, one of the Order swooping in to whisk him away before Snape appeared to do the deed. Poor, poor Draco never forgave himself for letting good old Fenrir Greyback in on the fun, or subjecting Dumbledore to that fate, though he did hate the man. And of course he was too proud to admit it. His mother was protected, but his father was in Azkaban. Little, misguided, proud, prattish Draco never forgave himself either. And then there's Ginny Weasley. Oh, she finally got away from her brothers and began traveling abroad as a Chaser for the Chudley Cannons. She was happy with her life, having gotten over her crush and then brief relationship with the famous Harry Potter. She has a brief inkling of what Ron's got himself into, but she doesn't open her mouth much. With her busy lifestyle, she hardly gets to see him, and she's known to blow her temper over the topic. Oh, but of course you didn't think I'd leave you without a setting...? What kind of narrator do you take me for, exactly? Honestly... So let's fast forward ten years. Poor, ex-sociopath Tom Riddle died of immediate heartbreak and shock, and Harry Potter was finally able to pick up the pieces of his life. The trio separated, as formerly mentioned, but now they are all brought together. Back under the United Kingdom's Minister of Magic (who is rumored to be a bit off kilter, if not completely mad), there lives the now-known nephew of Nicholas Flamel. Or, anyway, he's said to be a nephew, but it's more probable that he's a great great grand nephew. He has a lot of money and an odd taste for amusements. So it's all beginning at a party that good old (or young) Dietrich Flamel has thrown to amuse himself, inviting witches and wizards from all classes and types, those that no one knows who he yellow paged (and by this, I mean 'owl' paged) or knew by association, to the famous Potter, Weasleys, Granger, and the partly infamous Malfoy. Oh, and there will be twists and turns throughout the night, so try not to pick a fight, dearies. 1, 2, 3, 4, This is how it's hitting the floor: all personalities are staying the same, but motives might bend toward the insane. We wouldn't want everything to be a bore, so don't feel obligated to make your characters tame*. Oh, darling, this is the drill: this is adventure, action, all for the thrill. So, quick, pick a canon, originals have no need to sit still. Flamel/Narrator: Shadow Draco Malfoy: Vampire_BaD_GiRl Ginevra Weasley: -open- Though we're starting anyway. Harry Potter: Riverlynn Hermione Granger: Mistress Of Chaos Ron Weasley: -open- Though we're starting anyway. Originals; Aurora Mckensie Snow: *Flower* Sienna Jane Blake: princess of*hp* Sonja Lockwood: Riverlynn *Er. I mean within SS rules, of course. xD What? I needed a rhyme. :3 Characters: Either a full application (but I'd appreciate it if you didn't just throw in a run of adjectives for description or personality. I mean, you can, it's just monotonous to read and this is in the advanced section), or brief info about your character. Include name, age, personality, history, appearance, even in the brief information. Include everything important that has affected them (this includes being a werewolf/vampire/anything else. Please dun drop a bomb like that on us. xD ). Personally, I find character flaws to be way more fun, but that's ultimately your choice, eh? Have fun. ^-^ Shout out: This might have been influenced in part by a great Supernatural site I'm on with their backwards RP party which was proposed by an episode where the Winchesters weren't brothers and worked in an office. Obviously, the idea is a tad bit different here, but that's where it developed from. xD |
Id like to play Hermione please? |
Can I play Draco Malfoy, please? A sample is a paragpaph I'm writing from the character, right? |
Could I play Ginny Weasley please? |

And yes, that's a sample post. ^-^ And it can always go over a paragraph. There's no limit/minimum, but less than a paragraph wouldn't be substantial enough, probably. :/ Quote:

Sorry if I'm giving you guys a crapload to read. >.< I usually get carried away, so this is me trying to keep it short. Name: Dietrich Flamel Age: 28 Blood: Pure, though there might have been some muggle blood way back when. Playby/model: Jack Huston Picture: Personality: Dietrich is the sort of man who is more curious than sympathetic. He's not cruel at all, nor is he evil, but he has a limited capacity for emotion. It is made apparent to those that get to know him that he is more thoughtful than compassionate. His aims are not to hurt other people, but rather to study them. He likes devising his own social experiments, and with his extensive monetary resources, this is done easily. He's the sort of man known for his dinner parties, holiday parties, and his undiscerning taste in company at said parties. He'll invite people regardless of social status, background, money, and even whether he actually knows them or not. Regardless of his lack of care for commonly established social law, his parties are not the sort that anyone would want to be on the 'out' of, and he has grown to enjoy the overheard paranoia (from some) that accompanies his upcoming parties about whether or not they're interesting enough to be invited. After all, who doesn't want to be considered interesting? His taste in music is not restricted by genre or wizarding bands. His parties often have a grand mixture of both muggle and wizard music, as well as various types of music. Personally, he quite enjoys Roisin Murphy, Cobra Starship, and Cascada, though he's not really a big Taylor Swift fan. Okay, admittedly, he does like to sing You Belong With Me in the shower, but that's a story for another day. Besides the usual Muse and Placebo he constantly has playing from a multi-room wide magical stereo system in his manor, he also likes to listen to the very famous wizard rock band, the Weird Sisters, but that's a given for any witch or wizard. Dietrich always seems to have people surrounding him. His true friends are a very select few, but he has countless acquaintances. He attracts both the interesting and successful, and that's how he likes it. However, he doesn't use people, doesn't need to, so his friends are strictly around because he likes them, in his own, off-kilter way. He has a fondness for intellectual excitement, but never really grew to be the great mind his uncle was. It wasn't as though he was lacking in any areas of intelligence, but he had a different flair for research than that of the rest of his family. As evidenced here, he much preferred (and still does prefer) parties to apothecaries. He is known to be peculiar and a little bit odd, so when he says things out of the ordinary, it comes as no surprise to those that know him or have even heard of him. Sometimes he says things for shock value, while at others, he says them just because they make sense to him. He has a penchant for the outrageous and making queer observations aloud. Where most people would think about grace and staying quiet, Dietrich challenges this by never bothering to keep his voice down if he has something to say. He loves hearing other peoples' opinions, especially if they differ from his own. He is not easily swayed by the opinions of others, but he likes hearing them nonetheless. Despite all this, it takes a lot for him to care about people or even truly like them. He has his fair share of pretenses as all humans do. Appearance: Although Dietrich doesn't dress in the most orthodox manner for wealthy wizards, he is meticulously groomed. His facial hair is never out of line or over grown, and though his hair is slightly longer, it is always washed and combed out. He has a casual but intentional aura about his appearance, as though he doesn't really have to try, but he looked the way he did because he willed it to be so. His clothing usually is comprised of basic muggle pieces, such as leather jackets and plain t-shirts and jeans, but none of them look particularly worn or cheap. He is tasteful about what he buys, even if it isn't flaunting his money or status. He is of medium build, obviously not working out to defend himself because he is a wizard and needn't do so, but he does like to keep active. He was never much good at Quidditch, but he does like to fly his broom every now and then, and maybe play a game for fun with his friends or staff, whomever he cons into doing such an activity. His hair is brown, and his eyes are a light hazel that might border on green. History: Nicholas Flamel was an easily pleased child on the exterior. He never seemed to be sad, but he was never really fulfilled either. He was constantly lost in his thoughts when he wasn't making new friends or trying to get away with little things. All through his young age, he prided himself in his skills of persuasion. He was always quite the charmer, gaining friends like normal children collected paper clips or insects or chocolate frog cards. Though what was also made apparent was his odd display of emotions. He never really went through an emotional phase, and he hardly seemed to care on more than a superficial level about the emotions of others. His parents were worried that he was going to grow up to be the next Dark wizard until he cried for three days straight when his first pet rat died that he had had for three years. Although they were ashamed to admit it, it was a relief for them. He was not incapable of caring, just hard to win over. His parents traveled a lot, participating in research for the International Order of Spell Inventions (IOSI). He was moved frequently and often at a young age, and sought solace in his various books and pets. His friends were more like toys than his much cherished inanimate objects, as he never properly formed attachments to them since he left so quickly and so often. They were merely things to spend his time with, and though he never wanted to be a bad friend, it took him a long time to ever care about anyone other than his family. It wasn't until he was sent to Hogwarts that he started making real bonds with other people. He was a likable fellow and never had an aversion to breaking the rules as long as some fun would come out of it. He may not have made the Quidditch team or been made Head Boy (or even a prefect, for that matter), but he was often commended for his capability of throwing a covert party, procuring food from the house elves, and talking the teachers into letting him go to Hogsmeade with a letter from his parents just so he could stock up on 'supplies.' And though he was one of only very few of his family to be placed in Slytherin, he wasn't fully absorbed in the pretenses surrounding the house. He respected Gryffindors as most of his family came from that house, and made friends with just about anyone from anywhere. It was irrefutable, however, that he was a great persuader, possessed much ambition and cunning, and had an aptitude for deception. All of which had become nearly synonymous with the Slytherin house. In his defense, he wasn't chauvinistic, shallow, or elitist (*cough*Damon*cough*-grin- kidding) as so many Slytherins could be. He continued his academics after leaving Hogwarts, but eventually tossed aside his aspirations to follow in his family's footsteps. It wasn't his forte, and he didn't need the money. His parents weren't the sort to cut him loose just because he didn't settle into his destiny immediately anyway, and so they decided to give him as much time as he wanted to decide what he was going to do with his life. Rather than wasting his life away pondering, Dietrich did what he did best and began throwing some of the most notorious parties on his estate. After all, if the intellectual side doesn't work out for him later on in life, he could always be a hell of a wedding planner. Move over, Jennifer Lopez. |
Could I be an original please? |

YAY!! I shall have a bio up soon! :D |

Narrator: Updates: So Mistress of Chaos wants to be our little Hermione Granger. Yep, that's right; she got the part. TishTash did a pretty good job, so I'll commend her for that. And predictably, we've had some interest in our poor little Draco Malfoy. We'll see who will better suit our needs shortly. *evil laugh* Oh, right, business... The thing I am most appalled at is that no one wants to play with my darkPotter or Ron the thief. And here was I thinking I did something terrific and changed them for the better. *heavy sigh* None of you can appreciate good, creative liberty, eh? Oh, alright, alright. Maybe I went a little overboard, but I'll only admit it on Ron's part. Just don't think I'm going to go and change it now... *smirk* Someone will come along and pick them up, and if they don't, then I can always play puppeteer. There are enough voices in my head for the lot of us. ....You didn't hear that last line. |
Thank you so much Shadow! Name: Hermione Jean Granger Age: 25 Blood: Mudblood, doesn’t care anymore… Playby/model: Emma Watson Picture: http://i5.tinypic.com/67313ci.jpg Personality: Hermione Granger. The once Bushy, Know-It-All, Bookworm personality. That part of her you can’t see normally anymore. Hermione is now a fully confident, calm, nice looking girl, single. She made some mistakes that she will not risk making again. Now Hermione has a taste in clothes, you could say. Or in fashion. Yes, Hermione Granger doesn’t care much about books anymore. She makes good robes for witches and famous wizards. What more could she want? A boyfriend. Going out with Viktor Krum was the worst decision she had ever made. No. Leaving her friends was the worst decision she had ever made. At that time, Hermione was simple, carefree, and graduated. She breezed through the happy period of time- now in the dark, slow-time consuming time period. Nice, huh? Her personality- the kind and cautious one- she still carries around with her and she still is like that. She just isn’t the same as she was a long time ago. But then again, people change. No doubt about that. So this time, at the Party, she will start a new start, something that she had never wanted when she was with that Viktor Krum guy. She is willing to give everyone a chance- even Draco Malfoy. She hopes others, Ginny and Harry, Ron, and everyone else- would give her a chance too. Don’t get her wrong as a new girlie girl who has no taste no whatsoever. She does. Just not…so…obsessed with it like she was couple of years ago. Hermione Granger now is more confident…except in big parties…but give her a break! Changing his very hard and she managed it. Listening to music, and reading books are her favourite hobbies even though she does like to make clothes for others. Her cat, Crookshanks, still resides with her. Appearance: Hermione Granger has changed a lot. Her once-bushy, wild, out of control hair is now calm and soft ringlets down her face. Her eyes are still the big, large, chocolate brown eyes with emotion, but not with the same happiness with the little one years ago. Her body is slim and petite, with long shapely legs and pale complexion. History: Hermione Granger was the only child of Jean and Tim Granger, who both were Muggles and were in the Dentistry department. She grew up studying more and more about magic and became one of the best witches in the world. Nothing else- she was the best friend of Harry Potter, loved reading, and went out with Viktor Krum, her Patronus is the Otter, and she had a crush on Dra- Let’s stop there. Don't be surprised if you see her different. She is more prettier, and more sweet. |
Wonderful app, Mistress Of Chaos Narrator: To those who it may concern, Vampire_BaD_GiRl is now our Draco Malfoy. What, of course you didn't think Dietrich Flamel would leave out the trio's arch nemesis, did you? Oh, that would be hardly any fun at all... And of course it wouldn't be seemly to leave out such a prominent figure in the wizarding world, father in Azkaban or no. The boy switched sides before the war ended, and that preserved his image enough. Though that doesn't mean his personality attracts any more friends than it did in the past. So we have a Hermione and a Draco (oh, don't those two sound like fun? We'll have to throw them together next to the punch bowl), but no thieving Ron or disturbed Harry. Oh, what to do, what to do.... Someone needs to come in and salvage our plot before the Narrator has a heart attack. Excuse me? I am more than just a disembodied voice, mind you. I have a heart. Okay, so it may not be literal, but I do have the metaphorical one! -clears throat- Alright, maybe I don't have that one either... |
Here are the bios! Thanks for having me! Name: Harry Potter Age: 26 Heritage: Half-Blood Played by: Daniel Radcliffe Personality: There are very few remnants of the young Harry Potter left and those small pieces are buried down deep where no one can possibly rake them back up. (Or so he likes to think) Everything that happened with War has been firmly put behind him, though the emotional scars still exist. The anger and resentment have been burning deep within Harry, making him a bitter and sarcastic person. Harry looks at the world in a brutally realistic way. Everything to him is plain black and white and there are no grey areas. Love, friendship, loyalty, all those things don’t exist; they aren’t real and no one should put their trust in another person. The expectations were too high and no matter what the person said; the let down would always be there. Every person on the planet would be better off taking care of themselves and fending for number one. To keep himself occupied Harry has only one real joy left to him: flying. It’s the only thing left to him that no one else can take from him, because he can do it all himself; just him and his broom. The one thing in the world that he is absolutely positive will never let him down or leave him to pick up the pieces. All in all Harry is an angry, sarcastic, cynical, jade individual. Background: After leaving school and everything he knew behind, Harry took to the skies. Traveling from place to place, living from day to day in the way he wanted; on his terms. Harry never really got a job but did end up picking up odd and end jobs. He became a bounty hunter of sorts and with his background he became very good at it. Before long his reputation preceded him, and jobs were easy to come by. He picked up books and studied more defensive and offensive magic, honing his skills as a Wizard. Of course, there were times when his notorious temper got the better of him and fights ensued. It was yet another testament to his ability with the wand that he never lost a duel and always left his opponents wishing they had never messed with him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/o...ried316994.jpg Name: Sonja Lockwood Age: 24 House: Slytherin (Graduated) Heritage: Pureblood Portrayed by: Amanda Seyfried Background: Sonja lived a fairly normal life until she reached 15. Her father was a rich aristocrat who married her mother, a very talented Potioneer. While the family tree remained pure they did not see as other families of their caliber did. The Sinclair’s believed that while Muggles, Muggle Borns, and Halfblood had their place in the magical world they were still lower then those of pure decent. Sonja was raised upon this principal and carried those ideals through her beginning school years. Being sorted into Slytherin helped as most there were Pure like herself. Things turned badly on the summer after her fifth year of school. An auror had been chasing a band of dark wizards and cornered them in a market place. Sonja and her parents were there doing some shopping and were caught in the show down. The auror mistook her parents for reinforcements and a battle ensued. When the dust and rubble finally settled only four were left standing: the auror, two muggles, and Sonja herself. The auror, was fired after facing an inquest and Sonja was given the highest of apologies from the Minister himself. However, something shattered inside Sonja that day, releasing a creature of malevolence and hate. While to those who observed her she seemed all the same as usual, on the inside and when night came the true monster that she had become emerged. After finishing school at the top of her class, Sonja opened up a potions shop. While the shop was successful Sonja found other things to occupy her time with. She is extremely anti-muggle and very Pureblood superiority oriented. With everything going on in the Wizarding world, Sonja surrounds herself with her idea of sophisticated company. She stays knee deep in the aristocratic bureaucracy and the activities that goes along with. Since her tragedy, Sonja prefers to distance herself from everything that could possibly remind her of her family. Personality: Sonja is a deeply troubled individual. Her family meant everything to her and since their deaths she had been quiet and reserved. Keeping her emotions mostly to herself she is adept at reading others, a trait she has put to good use. She doesn’t suffer fools, and considers kindness and forgivness weaknesses. Her demeanor is always calm and collected but she does have a temper, once ignited will show the true depth of her cruelty and rage. No one has been able to touch that once innocent part of her, but she is wary of finding the one who can. For he will hold power over her and that she cannot have. |
Can I be a made-up girl please? Bio finishing up! ----------------------------------------- The Youngster Years http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/t...1_500_thum.jpg The Now "Not So Nice After All" Image; The Mad Years Name: Sienna Jane Blake Portrayed By: Daisy Lowe; Model Nickname: Si Age: 25 Birthday: October 31 Former House: None; Her parents sent her off to Beauxbatons for what they considered to be a "Proper, formal education. No nilly-willying with those silly Hogwarts boys." Blood: Pureblood Appearance: Like most of the women of her noble family, she is long and leggy. Her pale skin contrasts with the dark skin of most of her family, making her almost a black sheep; scratch that, a white sheep. When she was younger and before she attended Beauxbatons, she was always self-conscious about her beanpole body. However, once puberty hit, she embraced her curves. Her style varies from day to day. Usually at home, she can be seen in proper dress code: a blouse and (pencil) skirt. Sometimes, on her lazy days, you can catch her lounging around in a silk nightgown or pajamas and slippers. Sometimes, she goes for the wild side of fashion and wears bubble skirts, leather jackets, strappy heels, and the like. Her parents usually don't see her in this attire; they think it's reserved for costume parties. Personality & History: Sienna has multiple personalities; it just depends on who she's around. Her parents had no idea of the goings-on of her school years. While they thought she was being a proper, studious Beauxbatons girl, she was sneaking out nightly and making frequent trips to Paris nightclubs to party with the posh muggles. And her parents were never the wiser. Teachers had inklings of it, but they did not dare defy the youngest daughter of the Blake Family. Once she graduated, she permanently moved to Paris. Her parents thought that she was studying alchemy, but she was "painting the town red" almost nightly. Once she hit the ripe old age of 20, her partying screeched to a halt. Her Parisian friends (muggles) wondered what the heck had happened. Was it one drink too many? Or maybe it was that one night. Maybe it was that one night when she had gotten so trashed, so had wandered out of sight. That one night when all of Paris (or all least all of her friends) were roaming the streets, calling her name. They didn't dare involve the police; the police wouldn't have been too happy to hear what they had been up to. Finally at dawn, they found her. She was lying on a heap of trashbags next to a dumpster in an alley. She seemed to be sleeping so peacefully, like a baby in it's bassinet. However, she was quite the opposite of an infant when she was awake. When they merely touched her hand to wake her, she jumped up and lashed out. It took a few minutes before she had calmed down and come to the realization that it was her friends. Even after that outburst, her friends were ready to accept her again. They invited her to countless nighttime adventures, but she refused to answer the door of her apartment or answer their calls. Months passed by. One day, they saw a moving van outside of her house zoom away. She had gone away to return home. One of her friends remarked that she had decided to return to London. By that night, she was on a plane, calling her parents & saying "Oh yes, alchemy is so fascinating. I've learned so much, but I think it's time to come back home." Of course, her haughty, proud parents were delighted. When she returned, her parents welcomed her back into their luxe mansion and she now permanently resides in the guesthouse. Now, she works with other intelligent witches and wizards in a local alchemy laboratory. She has remained clean ever since she has returned. But with this new scheme of Flamel's, a slight spark has flickered in her soul. Is it a simple trick of alchemy; or is it a blast from her past, a young wild witch in the heart of Paris, eager to come bursting out? |

And @ Riverlynn: Just to keep the ages the same and because the Hermione posted first, his age should be 26. *nod* Not that it particularly matters. *shrug* Narrator: As you can see, Riverlynn took over our disturbed Harry position, and I'm sure she'll carry it out wonderfully. Poor Harry Potter has given up on the human race... *maniacal laughter* Sorry. Things like these just get me. *grin* *sudden somber face* ...But it is still sad. And to add to the excitement is Sonja Lockwood. *peers over at her* She seems like the troubled type. I like it. I'll have to narrate her next to some poor muggle born soul later. Make some freak of nature occur to send her next to Granger. Not that Hermione will care at this point, mind you. *smiles serenely* I do hope Dietrich will be sharing his popcorn with his good old trusty disembodied voice. Oh, I spy some new faces. What fun! Sienna Jane Blake might just be pushed in the right direction during our little party.... or wrong direction. Depends on your take on the matter. And does anyone want to take a gander towards our thieving little weasel? I mean Weasley... |
Draco Malfoy Age: 26 Blood status: Pureblood. Playby/Model: Tom Felton. Personality: Even after so many years, Draco is still rude and arrogant. He's not predjuced anymore against muggle-borns and blood traitors, but he still dislikes Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger - old habits die hard. He's manipulative, and has a very goos buisness sense. He isn't friendly at all, and with his behaviour, no one wants to befriend him. Many young witches are attracted to him because of his appearence, but he doesn't care about them. He listenes to muggle rock music bands, like Linkin Park, Three Days Grace and Nickleblack. Appearence: Draco is tall, and has silver-blond hair that is always a little messy on his head - another thing he got from listening to muggle music. He wears designer robes in public, but when he's alone in the huge Malfoy Manor - He wears jeans and T-shirts. History: Draco was born as a heir to the Malfoy family. His father taught him to hate muggle borns and blood traitors. In Hogwarts, Draco was sorted into the Slytherin house. He was teasing people, and tried to banish Hagrid from the school in his third year. His death eater father was arrested and sent into Azkaban for the rest of his life, and Draco got the mission from Voldemort to kill Dumbledore, threatening to kill him and his parents if he fails. When he got the chance to do it, he took Dumbledor's offer and joined the Order of the Phoenix. After the war, he started manipulating his family's money. He donated hundreds of galleons to St.Mungo's and the ministry, and that gave him the power to manipulate people. His mother died in the war, and he lives all alone in the huge Malfoy manor. |
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a74...tneysnow-1.png Name:Aurora Mckensie Snow Nickname: Rora Age: 24 Face Claim: Brittany Snow http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a74...ny-siggy-1.jpg Hair Color: Light, white blonde Eye Color: A bright purple Height: 5'1 Features That Stand Out: She had very tiny hands, , full lips, but it is her bright, sparkling, eyes, which are usually excited and full of life that stand out. She is also very graceful, more graceful than a normal human being. Personality: Aurora is a Veela, Yup that is right, pure blooded Veela. Just that alone should dictate how she acts. Snotty, haughty, and better than everyone, yet... She doesn't. Aurora is very humble. She of course loves the attention, but only charms men when the need arises. She is kind, sweet, generous, loving, and perhaps too innocent. She has never had a real love before, and she is still of the delusion that love will come to her, something her older sister has tried to get out of her. She is kind, friendly, talkative, and very bubbly. People just love to be around her due to the natural joy she gives off. She loves to laugh, but does have a sad side whenever her family is mentioned. History: Aurora Snow was born into the prestigious Snow Family, her and her two sisters were all full blooded Veela, something that boded well for parents. For who wouldn't want to marry a Veela? Their status in the Wizarding world seemed set. And at first it seemed like that. Her older sister, Daria Noelle Snow-Kensignton, married the first pureblood multimillionaire that she could get her hands on, and for awhile they seemed happy, even produced 7 kids. However, Daria grew bored with the whole family thing, and left her family, traveling the world and charming man after man to get what she wanted. She doesn't care that she destroyed her family, or that she left her kids all alone. Aurora saw this and was horrified. She was being groomed to be the next Daria, however she rebelled, and was kicked out of her house by her parents at the age of 16. For the next four years Aurora lived with her cousins, and was happy there. However the thought of her parents and sister pushed her to do something she never wanted to do. She went back to her family, apologized, and is now being groomed once again to be sold to the highest bidder. She isn't happy about it, but she missed her family to much to rebel again. After all, love is conditional isn't it? Or so it has seemed to her. She has another year to find a man of her choosing, or else her parents will choose for her. |
Lovely apps, Thea and Vampire_BaD_GiRl. :3 We're starting now, but the RP is having an 'open door policy,' so to speak (and no, it has nothing to do with history or politics). If you want to join, knock yourself out, just be sure to photocut your app so we don't get a bunch of scrolling to do in the middle of RPing. :3 Ron is still open, as is Ginny. Narrator: Looks like we have a Veela attending. It's quite possible we'll see some jealous tendencies and some animal magnetism. Just warning you. Thought you ought to know. Oh, I'm stating the obvious? Glad to know I'm doing my job. Now although no one has shown even the slightest interest in thieving Ron, Shadow'll take him over and someone can pick him up as we go if they want to. As for Ginny? Oh, who really cares? Not me. If you want her, take her. So now our party is starting... The lights are dimmed, the grand room lit up by a couple hundred floating tea lights. The music is playing from a stereo system that doesn't even appear to exist, but the bass is so high that it sends vibrations through the dance floor. Apparently no one informed Dietrich of Noise Induced Hearing Loss. If I can't hear next week, he can expect a lawsuit. But I digress... The song playing is, unless I'm very much mistaken, "Evacuate the Dance Floor" by Cascada (Really, Flamel, really?). Questionable music tastes aside, Dietrich appears no where to be seen. He always did have a flair for the dramatic, and who is ever the first person at their own party? BiC: Ron Weasley entered the party with a neutral expression on his face. There was no one to be seen save for a few house elves who seemed to be sidetracked with the various finishing touches. They scampered to and fro with glasses of butterbeer, firewhisky, and everything in between. He grabbed a butterbeer off the one moving tray, held up high above the elf's head, then shrugged his shoulders and walked over to the food. Picking up a pastry, he glanced around himself inconspicuously and reached out to grab a candlestick. He blew out the candle and inspected the holder itself. Upon discerning it to be real gold, he dropped it into the pocket of his trousers with one last glance over his shoulder. Dietrich appeared on the balcony, looking down upon the dance floor. He hadn't expected everyone to arrive right on time, and knew that there was always the 'fashionably late,' but really. He began nodding his head in time with the music, as it mattered very little; no one could see him from his strategical spot up in the shadows. He took a swig of butterbeer and waited for the show to begin. The first thing he saw was Ron Weasley swiping one of his family heirlooms, and the image sent him to break out in a grin. He'd have to comment on the matter later, but there was much to be seen this night. No need to rush anything along; there were still more guests to arrive. |
Aurora nervously smoothed down the folds of her lilac dress. She knocked on the door, unsure of whether to just go right in or hover there on the doorway like and idiot. Sigh She turned over the invitation in her hand and looked up, and then back down. This party was the last chance for her to find someone, before her parents chose for her. She wondered briefly if she should power up her charms now.. or wait? Perhaps wait? She sighed again, as she waited for someone to open the door. |
Draco entered the party, the Malfoy trademark smirk on his face. The loud music was making him a slight headache, but he kind of liked the song. Of course, he would never admit it to anyone - he had a reputation to keep. He was one of the first guests to arrive to the party. There were many house elves with trays around the room, many diffrent drinks on each tray. He took an exotic looking coctail from one of them, and started waiting for the guests to come. |
Sienna Jane Blake, better known as Si, sauntered into the grand room, already filled with a few guests. She had been debating about being fashionably late, as was her usual custom. She had decided better of it, knowing that Dietrich would have given her a proper verbal slapping if she had done so. She pursed her lips and smoothed out the folds of her yellow dress as she scanned the room. Her red-lipsticked mouth turned into a smile as she saw Dietriech up above on the balcony. She gave him a little wave from below and before going to sit down. She picked a seat and began to adjust her red heels, already uncomfortable early in the festivities. |
Dietrich skipped down the whirling staircase and opened the front door with a flourish, deciding it rude to leave his guest waiting outside. "Aurora Snow," he greeted with a polite smile, having memorized all the names and faces of those on his guest list (and to be honest, it was a little hard to forget a Veela). "So glad to see that you have made it." The excess emphasis might have had something to do with that Veela blood, and so he turned away from her, cleared his throat, and conscientiously closed the door. He turned back to his guests and clapped his hands. “Well, welcome to all of you, Draco Malfoy, Sienna Blake.” He addressed each individually with a nod of his head, “Oh, and of course, Ronald Weasley.” He made a show of jumping backward, as if aghast. “What is it that you have in your pants?!” he inquired with an overtly dramatic air. Ron looked at Dietrich like he was completely bonkers. Oh, that was right, Dietrich Flamel was completely bonkers. He then looked down at his right trouser pocket and shrugged, as if he noticed nothing out of the ordinary. “Definitely nothing that belongs to you, that's for sure,” he muttered under his breath, but pulled out the candle holder regardless, setting it back down on the table. He'd prefer to be asked no more awkward questions today. He muttered something along the lines of, “Completely, bloody, St. Mungo's mental,” before taking another swig of butterbeer. Dietrich turned away from Ron Weasley and back to the rest of his guests, grinning as he did so. “Right, well now that I've re-procured a most coveted family heirloom, it's down to the reason why you're all here. Unless you've been hit with a particularly strong Confundus Charm, you should know that it's to have a bloody good time,” and to amuse me while doing so. “We will give the rest of our guests some time to arrive before carrying on with the festivities. By all means, mingle. Eat. Drink.” He picked up another butterbeer from one of the trays proffered by the house-elves and approached Draco. “How's an old Slytherin doing tonight?” he asked casually. “Are you familiar with Sienna or Aurora? I'd ask about Weasley too, but I'd assume you know him too. Would you care to enlighten me as to why the Malfoys and Weasleys have been feuding for so long?” Narrator: Somewhere outside a storm began to brew, deep in the outermost stretches of clouds. The rain had yet to fall, but thunder began to rumble the old manor. The tea lights flickered as if a storm could affect magically induced lighting. Dietrich peered up at the lights with a scrutinizing look. "...How strange." |
After Dietrich had greeted all of the present guests, Sienna sighed and turned to look out of the large, stianed-glass window. A storm was brewing, and it gave her chills. It was England, so of course she was used to the weather. But this one just gave her a sense of foreboding. Shaking off her premonitions, Si turned to look at the two other men in the room: ginger hair, freckles, and apparently a thief, seeing as he had knicked that object of Dietrich's. She made a mental note to keep away from him. She wouldn't want him to entice her into her old ways... She turned and set her gaze on a blond, pale man with a cocktail in his hand. He looked very familiar, but from where? He was obivously of the upper class, so maybe she had seen him at one of the frequent balls that the elite usually had. Sienna had only attended those balls as a child of no more than 11, as she was educated at Beauxbatons and spent a few years after graduation in Paris. |
Aurora smiled at Dietrich as he let her in, and she smiled her most winning smile up at him, only to have her charms wasted as he quickly turned away from her, most men did that when they found out who she was. She heaved a quick sigh. Dear Merlin! By the way he re-acted, one would think she was a monster.. She quickly turned her gaze to Draco Malfoy, and Weasley. A theif apparently. She shook her head, now that certainly wouldn't do. She moved her eyes from him to Draco, "No, I am afraid I haven't had the pleasure to meet any of these people." Her eyes lingered very briefly on the girl before turning her attention to the men. Girls didn't like her. And she suspected that this one would be no different. She looked up as she heard a rumble of Thunder, and watched as the lights flickered, A storm huh? Hmmm how odd. She turned her attention back to her host and the guests. Wondering what the night would bring. |
Hermione swallowed harshly. Her gaze was far-away and she was sweating, her palms in a lock, leaving crescent shapes on her hand. "Come on, Hermione. You can do this. You faced Voldemort." She spoke to herself in a low whisper. Entering, she saw Draco Malfoy. He hadn't changed much. He looked nice. "Dietrich. Thank you for the invitation...Sir." She added, smiling up at him. "Is...you know... the lot here?" Hermione asked, smoothing down her green and white dress. As the tray was passed, she eagerly gulped down the drink and reached over. |

He watched as Ron returned a stolen candle holder to the table. Is he a thief? Draco thought with disgust. Probably he is as poor as he was back in Hogwarts. "I don't know them personally, but I heard of them." Draco replied casualy, making himself seem important. "I know Weasley since school, and we are still enemies. Our families didn't acossiate together since the 1400s." Suddenly, Draco heard a loud thunder. Looking through the window, he saw thick clouds above the manor. The rain didn't fall yet. "Strange, indeed." he commented. "The sky was clear when I arrived." Something was very wrong here. |
Sienna recognized a veela when she saw one; she attended Beauxbatons with so many, it was unnerving. Well, since Dietrich had gone off into a conversation with the pale man, and the brunette woman who had just entered had approached the thief, she decided to approach the veela. Everyone else was in couplets, so why not them? Sienna stood up and smoothed out her yellow dress, her red heels click-clacking on the polished floor as she crossed the room. "Hello," Sienna spoke, flashing a red-lipped, pearly white smile and hoping not to catch the woman off guard. "I've decided to introduce myself, since our gracious host hasn't done it yet. I'm Sienna." She stuck out her hand in greeting. |
Landing just shy of the door Harry dismounted his broom and looked around. Scanning the tree line and the house for potential danger, he took in the layout of the grounds and the house. Smirking, Harry shook his head. Not too shabby. Stowing his broom in his pocket, enchanted of course, he flipped up the collar on his leather jacket and ran a hand over his face. He hadn't shaved and was probably looking a little scruffy, but what did he care. He probably wasn't going to know anyone in there, so what was the difference? Shrugging, he ran a hand through his shaggy hair checking his reflection in a nearby window. His eyes caught movement and he stood their for a second staring at those inside. Interesting. He was about to knock on the door when the click clacking of heels sounded on the walkway behind him. Sauntering up the walkway, blonde wavy hair swinging softly behind her, Sonja Lockwood made her way up to the house. Glancing up at the mansion she couldn't help the smile that came to her face. Deitrich was of course civilized company and this party was an essential part of her rounds amoung the aristocracy. Just outside the light in the doorway, she paused to make one last check of herself. Tonight she had chosen a red cocktail dress that swung around her knees beautifully, allowing her matching heels to accentuate her long legs and great figure. Her blonde hair was left down and in soft waves given free reign down her back. Long thick lashes framed eyes the color of topaz that fit within a perfectly round face. Perfect. She would expect nothing less of herself. She had chosen this outfit and this look specifically. The combination of outfit, hair, and just the right amount of makeup gave her the look she was going for. Everything about her screamed money, sophistication, and power. Over the years she had carefully cultivated her smooth, savvy persona and she wore it like a second skin. She was a force to be reckoned with. Satisfied, she walked the remaining distance to the door. Of course she noticed that someone was waiting at the door and she couldn't help but smirk. Eyebrows raised she brushed passed him without a second glance and walked right through the door as if she owned the place. Harry couldn't quit staring. She was gorgeous and completely out of his league. Shaking his head to clear the cobwebs, he stalked in after her. He didn't know who she was, but she had an air of authority that he couldn't help but admire. |

Merlin! Another surprise. Girls usually avoided her. But Aurora was not going to let this oppurtunity pass her by. "Hello Sienna, I am Aurora Snow." She smiled at the girl briefly before turning to see the new arrivals... She shook her head at the woman who entered.. really she was trying to hard. She had a look of money and power.. but Aurora did not buy it. Her gaze moved to the man who had entered.. Was he..... mmmmm he was.. Harry Potter was in their midst. How interesting... |
Sienna forced her smile to continue as the veela, now known as Aurora, promptly turned to set her eyes on the new arrivals. "Typical veela," She moodily thought, a stream of French curse words running through her mind. She noticed Aurora's purple gaze land on Harry Potter. The Boy, or now rather the Man, Who Lived. A smirk crossed her face. She had briefly chatted with him once, many years before during the Triwizard Tournament. She had come to Hogwarts with Beauxbatons and had witnessed the rollercoaster of a year unfurl. "So," She began, her words directed to Aurora but her gaze landing on Harry as she spoke, "How do you know Mr. Flamel?" |
Quote:
She pondered Sienna's words for a few moments before responding.. "Well, I don't really know him at all actually. I am sure my parents garnered this invitation for me. Yet another one of their ploys to get me to marry well. Dietrich Flamel, now there is a catch.." Aurora sighed and shook her head. "They should see me now, shunned by their "proposed husband."" She absentmindedly twirled a lock of her white blonde hair around her finger, her thoughts whirling in her head. So she was a veela, so what? In this day and age, that did nothing.. "How do you know him?" She queried, trying to retain a semblance of happiness. |
Hermione sipped on her cocktail, almost choking at the sweetness. She made her way to the two women talking, and sat down near them. "Hello there...Mind if I join in the conversation?" She asked. |
Narrator: The guests gradually arrived, and it makes me wonder what they'd think if they knew their purpose, or if they knew of the storm to come. In fact, I'd really love to know. Muggle forecasts say the storm is going to be one for the ages, but don't panic, just be prepared to go down to the basements. Ministry officials are perplexed as it seems to be a magical storm of some sort. Too bad the partiers are too busy to have gotten the memo.... Quote:

Ron approached with a somewhat sour look on his face, his hands pressed deep into his trouser pockets and his shoulders somewhat hunched. He didn't offer a hand, just gave Draco Malfoy a measured, reproachful look. "Prat," he greeted without even the faintest look of shame. Dietrich nodded at Ron. "Glad to see you two are hitting it off so soon. And I have come to hear that you and Hermione Granger haven't spoken in quite some time. Where is Hermione? Ah! Hermione, why don't you come over here and talk to a few old Hogwarts students? They were in the same year as you! And, where is Harry Potter? Harry! Do come over. In fact, everyone come over. Let's all have a chat. We'll play a game of sorts. Come now. Get in a large circle. We'll go one by one and we can name one thing we've done since school and one thing we remember from school. If you attended Hogwarts, name your house, if you didn't, name your school. We'll start with me, then Draco, Hermione, Ron, Harry, Aurora, Sienna, and Sonja." He cleared his throat. "Well, as you know, I'm Dietrich Flamel. I went to Hogwarts, was in the house of Slytherin, and while there I raided the kitchens and threw some parties that some of you may or may not have known about. Injuries occurred, and I was once sent to the hospital wing for a week after being dared to eat a few questionable candies that I think may have been Ron's brothers', Fred and George, initial experiments. Since then I've done a whole lot of nothing. Some parties, some experiments, and a whole lot of secrets in my basement that the lot of you may or may not get to see." There was a slight maniacal edge to his eye as he grinned at them. Finally, he clapped his hands and indicated for Draco to continue. |

Draco smirked when Dietrich announced that game. He was going to taunt the Gryffindors one more time, and that was going to be entertaining. "As some of you know, I am Draco Malfoy. I attended Hogwarts school and was sorted into Slytherin. I always insulted other sudrnts, especially those in Gryffindor." his smirk widened. "I joined the Order of the Phoenix after my sixth year. I did many things after the war, like attending parties and donating to anti-thief organisations." He looked at Weasley. He was sure he was a thief, so exposing his secret won't be too bad. OOC: I'm sorry if I have mistakes, it's nighttime and I'm sleepy... =\ |
Sienna gave a warm smile to the brunette as she approached, but then quickly swung over to join the circle by Dietrich. She began after taking a slow breath, it was her turn. "For those of you who don't know me, I'm Sienna Blake; Si for short. I attended Beauxbatons, and after graduation I lived in Paris and studied alchemy." After this sentence, her eyes flashed over to Dietrich. It was true that he was odd, but she had a feeling that he knew much more information about her than she had cared to reveal. It gave her slight chills. Those Flamels, strange bunch. "I later came back to England, and now I work as an alchemist and-" Sienna stopped short and a bright shade of pink crept up her cheeks. "Oops, that wasn't my turn, was it? Sorry." She gave into an embarrassed silence, her chocolate eyes casting towards the polished floor. Nice way to start off meeting new folk, She sarcastically thought, They probably think I'm a bossy, pushy twit now. |
After Sienna finished, Hermione took a breath and went up. "Hello everyone...My name is Hermione and I attended Hogwarts with my best friends Harry, Ron, and Ginny." She took a gasp of air. "After graduation, I made the mistake to go with Viktor Krum, that git- and came back to London to...design new robes for witches." She looked around. "I was in Gryffindor, and was a Bookworm. But people can change." Her gaze travelled to Draco Malfoy and she blushed. |
Quote:
So it was obvious he got shocked when she admitted that she was a robe designer. But the real surprise was when she looked at him and..blushed? Draco raised an eyebrow at her questionably. He got really confused in these couple of seconds. That dress robe looks good on her, actually. A little thought ran through his head, but he ignored it. If she was a robe designer, it was obvious she would wear the best robe, right? |
*Sigh* Hermione took a deep breath after she had finished and sat down, drinking the cocktail very quickly, almost choking on it. 'At least he does look nice today.' She thought was she gazed on his hair, his eyes, and his face. Humph. Get out of it, Hermione Granger. Now. |
Sienna noticed the nonverbal exchange between Hermione and Draco. Si had known Dietrich to be a little prankster and plot-hatcher, but match-maker too? She couldn't help but snort a little. So whom for Sienna? Would he pair her with someone silly, like one of the waitering house elves? |

Narrator: For all those who may not know: Dietrich is a psychological trickster. If you haven't grasped this by now, please immediately check yourself into a St. Mungo's ward, because OBVIOUSLY his behavior is NOT NORMAL. Pfft. Oh, and the storm is growing worse, clouds swirling into a dark abyss lit up by an electrical impulse of lightning every so often, and all that jazz. If one were to stand outside, they were realize that the glows of lightning looked almost like....heartbeats.... Quote:

Sienna stiffened, keeping her smile warm but the rest of her body tensing as her commented on her little speech. She still didn't have to nerve to speak after Dietrich had commented on Hermione's dress. She took a breath: He doesn't know, he couldn't know... he shouldn't know. He just made a comment, a relatively prophetic one, one that gave her chills up her spine. "So," She addressed the ones who had not introduced themselves as of yet, "You are...?" |
Quote:
"I don't think Weasley will agree with you." Draco said without telling his opinion. His jaw hanged open when Dietrich said the comment about Granger's dress. How..How did he know? he thought with shock. Something really wasn't right here. "She's a robes designer, so it's obvious she'll wear a good and expensive robe." he replied as calmly as he could, but he wasn't very succesful. Especially when he stared at her robe while he said it with a strange twinkle in his eye. |
Hermione blushed. "Thank you, Dietrich." She almost gritted through her teeth. "And, I still check up on SPEW, thank you very much." She smiled forcefully. "I shall take that as a compliment, Mal-Draco." She stuttered. "Glad you think so." |
Aurora looked around at everything happening. Hermione and Draco? Who would have guessed. She had heard their history, and knew that they had been bitter enemies. Guess time changes everything. She sighed as she looked around, it wasn't her turn yet to go, it was Ron's... but it didn't seem like the theif felt like spilling his guts. She turned her eyes to the window, shivering a little at the storm that was gathering outside. It seemed to be gaining in ferocity. She looked around at the gathering of people and sighed. There would be no one for her today. Her parents would be sorely disappointed about it. In fact she was too. She was being ignored. Something that NEVER happened to her. "Well I guess I can go." She said softly. "My name is Aurora Snow, and I attended Beauxbatons until I was sixteen, then I attended Hogwarts for my last two years, I was in Slytherin." She said softly, looking around. " I was very popular with Slytherin boys, and after school, I returned home to do what my parents told me to do." She bit the inside of her lip as she remembered what her older sister had done. It looked like that would become her future as well. |
OOC:I think we need more guys ._. Quote:
The sound of his name woke him up from his childish thoughts. He looked up, and saw that Hermione already finished her sentence. He had no idea what she said, so he just nodded. Quote:

OOC: We sure do. Harry, the other made-up girl, and (I think) Ron have disappeared. I don't want this RP to die! Sienna scanned the group, seeing that the theif and Harry Potter did not want to speak. Their reputation seemed to precede their introductions. Of course, Harry had no need for explanation; everyone knew his story. As for the theif, enough said. Once a criminal, always a criminal. Sienna subconsciously tugged at her diamond earrings protectively. She had previous experience of having her things stolen and was not exactly hoping for it to happen again. Of course, Sienna had stolen things in the past, too. But let's not get into that story just yet. |
Harry had only been paying half attention as everyone seemed inclined to introduce themselves and such. He, himself, didn't care to join in with this little quaint pow-ow. He wasn't even sure why he was here but he wasn't going to complain. His plate was full of the delicious food that was on the table, he couldn't remember the last time he had a full meal. Sighing, he glanced around waiting for someone else to drone on about there life story. Momentarily he thought about jumping back on his broom and blowing this dismal place but the storm clouds outside were preventing that. Might wait it out and see if it passes. Rubbing the stubble on his chin, Harry reclines back against a wall and continues watching everyone interact. Sonja stood off in a corner watching the interplay between these meaningless people. They actually thought introducing themselves was appropriate! What a shame. Of course she needed no introduction for everyone here knew who she was, though if they didn't they should. With everything her family had ever worked for and the influence she had on the wizarding world she was a force to be reckoned with. If they couldn't see that then they were blind. |
Sienna inwardly sighed. This magical night was starting to become... well, magically boring. Dietrich usually threw way better parties than these. She took a manicured hand to sweep the brunette bangs from her face as she surveyed the glum group. She sighed, once again. Couldn't Dietrich have invited some more... oh, personable, well-known folk? Of course, there was Harry Potter, but he didn't really seemed interested in anything except for the marble floor. Sienna bent down to adjust the straps on her red pumps, and then sat back up in her chair. "Dietrich, do you-?" She stopped herself and began to rephrase, "I'm heading to the ladies' room." And with that and the clutching of her handbag to her side, although jumping at the loud roar of thunder, she composed herself. Si smoothed out the creases of her gold dress, rose, and began click-clacking her way across the rather large room. She made her way up the staircase, all the while thinking that if she couldn't find the bathroom, she'd have a ball looking through all of the rooms and snooping around. Maybe digging into the Flamel's famed supply of liquor. Some people never change, now do they? OOC: Don't die, RP. :( |
