Vianna was beginning to pick up the mess of marshmallows they had left on the bed and bedside table as Ferris spoke, though what caught her attention was his last few words. "You can do that?" she asked, having nearly forgotten that the main reason Ferris hadn't been able to apparate lately was because of his hurt back, however now that his back was fine... |
"Well, yeah I can," the boy replied with a soft chuckle. "I mean, I didn't do it on the way here mainly because I didn't know exactly where we were going so I couldn't get a clear destination in my head. But now that we know exactly where we're returning to..." he said, giving her a small smile. "I've been able to apparate with two people with no problem before, so if you wanted, we don't have to rush so much..." |
Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly with disbelief. "You should've told me that sooner," she told him with a small smile, shaking her head slightly. "So I've been rushing and stressing over nothing, then!" she said, sitting down on one end of the bed, her gaze falling to the empty bags of marshmallows in her hands. "We should still leave little bit earlier, though, just in case... anything goes wrong." |
"I'm sorry, I just thought of it," the boy admitted with a small smile as Vianna told him he should've announced this sooner. "We'll leave soon, I promise," Ferris assured her, watching as she took a seat at the edge of the bed with the empty bag of marshmallows. "Why are you all the way over there?" the boy asked, innocence in his dark brown eyes as he watched her from his lying position on the bed. He flashed her a small smile. |
Vianna nodded her head as Ferris assured her they'd be leaving soon, before he spoke again, asking her why she was all the way over there. At this, the girl lifted her gaze from the bags in her hands and turned to the boy on the other side of the bed instead, chuckling softly at his question. It's not like they were that far apart, the bed being so small she was sitting right beside his feet. "Gee, I dunno... it just looked so crowded up there. What do you think I should do? Should I ask that boy on the other side if he'll let me sit with him?" she asked playfully, a smile adorning her lips. ooc: Be back in 20! |
OOC: Ok! ^_^ Ferris's smile widened as Vianna mentioned how crowded it looked up there before asking if he thought she should ask that boy on the other side of the bed if he'd let her sit with him. "I dunno, I bet he'd let you sit up there with him," he responded with a playful smile on his pale face. "You'd have to be very nice though...I'm pretty sure he doesn't like it when his girlfriend gets all worried about rushing to get home. He much prefers it when she'd just sit with him." |
Vianna listened as Ferris told her he'd let her sit up there with him, that he believed the guy on the other side of the bed didn't like it when his girlfriend got all worried about rushing to get home, as he preferred it when she just sat with him. At this, the girl's jaw dropped though there was amusement on her features. "Maybe his girlfriend is just trying to keep them out of trouble!" she said in her defense, though a couple moments later she had crawled over to the other side of the bed and sat down beside Ferris, the distance not having really been that much. |
Ferris let out a chuckle at the sight of Vianna's dropped jaw and gave an amused smile as she told him that maybe his girlfriend was trying to keep them out of trouble before coming over to sit by him. "I'm sure he appreciates her a whole lot," he told the girl at his side with a warm smile, slipping an arm around her waist. "I'm sure that he's just a selfish guy who lets his desires to stay in bed all day get in the way of doing what he needs to do," he murmured, pulling her into his bare chest. "And I'm sure that if his girlfriend keeps being so wonderful, he might stop being so lazy and holding her back." |
Vianna listened with an amused smile as the boy at her side spoke, laughing lightly with amusement at the way they kept referring to one another in the third person. "You're funny, Professor," she told him, leaning over a bit to place a kiss on his cheek before returning her head to his chest. "So how much extra time does this new plan leave us with?" she asked after a moment's silence. |
OOC: Off for like...thirty minutes or so? I mean...I DEMAND THIRTY MINUTES! :mwaha: Ferris gave a small smile as Vianna told him that he was funny before kissing his cheek and asking how much time they had before they needed to head back. "Well, that's all up to you, Vi," he responded with a small smile. "When do you think we should get back?" he asked softly. "I mean, I have to meet my dad at three, I think....and it's only nine thirty now...But I dunno if you want to get back sooner rather than later," he explained. |

D:< But I'm gonna start charging extra for these minutes from now on! >=O Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly as Ferris told her it was up to her to decide when they'd start heading back, not having expected this responsibility. She listened as he went on to explain he had to meet his dad at three and it was only nine-thirty at the moment. "I see... well, usually I'd get home from my sleepovers with Giuliana at around noon, since we'd both wake up pretty late. But just to be safe, we should leave a little earlier than that, maybe... eleven?" she suggested, her gaze lowering from the empty fireplace to the boy's chest. It seemed that it was only now she realized he was shirtless, and the sight made her blue eyes widen slightly and her cheeks turn a light shade of pink. "Uh..." She blinked, not sure what she was talking about anymore. "The... uh, eleven, right... yeah we should go at eleven because... something might go wrong, or... if we get lost," she muttered, barely really aware of what she was saying anymore as she readjusted herself so she was laying her head on the boy's shoulder instead now. It wasn't as comfortable, because now she had to be sitting up a little more, but she couldn't help it she turned so flustered sometimes. |
OOC: Uh...Dee, hate to tell you this, but you can't do that. I'm the demander of minutes. That means that I can just demand things with no charge. JUST LIKE THAT. :mwaha: Ferris listened as Vianna explained that she usually came home from sleepovers around noon but they might want to leave at about eleven just in case something happened. He gave a nod, understanding, until he glanced at the suddenly quiet girl only to see her avoiding his gaze with light pink cheeks. His eyebrows rose at this, confused as she stuttered out a repitition of what she already said to him, appearing to be rather flustered. It was then that she resituated so she was resting her head on his shoulder rather than his chest and his brows furrowed. Why would she do that? He glanced down to his chest to see his pale skin there, the same as it always was, smooth and strikingly white. What was wrong? "Wha..." he paused, thinking, "Did I do something?" |
ooc: What!! No one warned me about crazy demanding customers in the contract! -Flails- I'm afraid the rules must change, missy! From now on, I'm charging an extra $5 for every minute you demand! :poke: Vianna lifted her head from Ferris's shoulder to look at him as he spoke, asking her if he had done something wrong. "What? No! No, not at all, Professor," she assured him; the last thing she wanted was for him to feel guilty for her awkwardness. "I just... I..." How was she supposed to explain herself without coming off as a total weirdo? "I'm sorry, I'm just... weird, I guess." She gave him a small smile and returned her head to his shoulder, dismissing the subject. |
OOC: NEVER! YOU'LL NEVER CATCH MEH ALIVE SUCKAS! *runs away* Ferris couldn't help but be confused as Vianna assured him that he hadn't done anything wrong, explaining that she was just...weird. His eyebrows rose slightly at this, watching as she gently returned her head to his shoulder. What would make Vianna want to move her head from his chest to her shoulder? After a moment of thinking, he couldn't come up with a proper reason, and he decided to let it go...for the most part. It was still in the back of his mind as he pulled her closer, pulling her directly in his chest (obviously not realizing that this was the thing making Vianna flustered). Her head was now on his chest once more, his bare lanky arms keeping her close to him. |
ooc: OMG!! SECURITY!! SECURITYYYYY!! She just ran off with $40 million worth of minutes!! -Runs in circles and flails for a moment before pulling on balaclava- You'll never get away with this, NEVERRRR!!! -Tackles Ruthers to the ground and ties her up- :simm: <- there you are represented by Snapey-poo again. Vianna seemed a little more relieved as a silence fell between them and Ferris didn't question her further about her strange behaviour a moment ago. She was just beginning to compose herself and return to her normal self when the boy then pulled her closer, allowing her head to rest on his chest once again. At this, Vianna's eyes widened slightly. "Uhhh-- Professor--" She sat up, giving him a small, weak smile. "Uh..." Now what was she supposed to say? What lame excuse was she supposed to use to explain her sitting up? Nothing came to mind. "Er..." Finding no good excuse to use, she knew this behaviour would only confuse the boy further and therefore probably get him to ask questions. And Vianna didn't want to be questioned. So, to avoid that, she leaned over unexpectedly and placed a surprise kiss on his lips, hoping it'd be enough to distract him for the time being. |
OOC: One: What in the world is 'bacalava'!? Two: NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ferris's snug grip on Vianna quickly broke as she sat up, giving out an awkward 'uh, Professor' and gave him a weak smile. What did he do? He must've done something wrong, she was acting so strangely....Oh no, did he go too far or something? He'd just been putting his arm around her, but why else would she feel so uncomfortable? Oh no, oh no, oh no...His brown eyes turned concerned as he watched her; maybe his arm was too much. Maybe she decided that he was getting too comfortable with pulling her so close. That made absolutely no sense, but the boy wasn't really thinking sense as he became worried that he'd upset Vianna. Before he could speak, the girl had suddenly pressed her lips onto his own, beginning to kiss him. Though this, on instinct, distracted him for a couple moments, reality soon fell back to him and he broke apart. "No--Vi, wait..." he said, his brown eyes searching his blue ones. "What did I do?" he asked softly, his gaze worried. "D-Do you not want my arm around you...I mean, it's okay. Just tell me, I-I don't want to make you uncomfortable or anything..." |

I think it might be a British term, I'm not sure. :erm: -Pulls potato sack over Ruthers and dumps her in the county jail- & Once again, Sheriff Dee has saved the day!! :{D <- the smiley has a mustache... like those dudes in the 1800s old west towns and stuff... Vianna's blue eyes fluttered as Ferris pulled away, clearly still bothered and confused over her behaviour. Eh?! Since when did snogging not work?! Suddenly she felt like a guy who was trying to get too comfortable with his girlfriend. But she dismissed all these thoughts as Ferris began to speak, asking her if she didn't want his arm around her, going on to mention he didn't want to make her uncomfortable or anything of the sort. Vianna sighed, leaning back onto the pillows on her side of the bed. "No... you didn't do anything wrong. And I like your arm around me," she muttered, her guilty gaze falling to her hands as they rested on her lap. "I just... I'm just being dumb, I guess. I-- you-- you're just... you're kind of..." she turned to him, her gaze falling on his chest for a moment before traveling back to his eyes. "You're shirtless. And you're close. It flusters me," she confessed bluntly, deciding it was best to just be straightforward about it. "I know it's stupid, it's not like this is the first time I see you like this, but... I dunno, for some reason it just got to me," she finished with a sigh. |
OOC: Ohhhhhh I see! AND Noooooooo! *squirms away from cops and runs away AGAIN* You'll never catch me alive coppers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh! And I NEED FIFTEEN MINUTES! :mwaha: Ferris watched with confusion in his dark eyes as Vianna leaned back into her pillow, explaining that he didn't do anything wrong and that she liked his arm around her. "Then, what...?" he asked softly, his brows furrowing as she began to stutter out the fact that she was being dumb, continuing to make little sense until she very bluntly confessed that he was shirtless, and close, and it was flustering her. His eyebrows rose at this, realization dawning on him and he glanced down at his pale chest. "It's not stupid," he quickly shook his head, "I didn't know it made you uncomfortable, I thought you didn't mind," he murmured with a weak smile. "I-I'm sorry, I'll put a shirt on," he quickly added, starting to sit up with an almost embarrassed look on his pale face. |
ooc: Noooooo!! Stop running away! -Starts sobbing hysterically- I--I-- All I ever wanted... I just wanted to do the right thing, I.. I... they always told me, "you can't do it!" I just wanted to be a hero for a change! :cry: -Wails and buries face in hands- -Sniffle; wipes tears- Fine... fine... take your 15 minutes. Take 30 more, 50, 918231! I don't care anymore, I'm a failure! :cry: Vianna's forehead creased slightly at Ferris's words. "I was! I mean-- I am, I just... I dunno, Professor." She shrugged, feeling even dumber than before now. She knew the boy would just find it weird, it made no sense for her to be flustered about something that wasn't new. But it was one thing when they were swimming in lakes or the ocean and something different when there wasn't water around. "You don't have to," she muttered absentmindedly as Ferris announced he was gonna go pull on a shirt. She turned her attention to the window beside the bed instead, watching the view outside for a moment before turning back to Ferris. "Should we go get some breakfast?" |
OOC: *sigh* Don't be such a baby Dee, I'm back. Go ahead, lock me up....I'm a nice criminal.... *sigh* :xd: Ferris stood up from the bed, listening as Vianna stuttered out that she was stupid for getting so flustered, telling him that he didn't have to put on a shirt before asking if they should go get breakfast. He turned his uncertain brown eyes back to the girl, standing there still shirtless as he tried to analyze her light pink expression. "Well...I did promise you room service...if you want it still," the boy said with a shrug. But his mind still seemed to be on the shirtless thing. He didn't enjoy the fact that Vianna appeared to be so uncomfortable about it, and he wasn't sure what to do anymore. Did she never want to see him shirtless? He didn't want to upset the girl, she'd never seemed to be weirded out by it before but maybe he'd been blind ot her uncomfortability. "Vi....Clue me in here, please?" he said, and it was obvious as to what he was talking about. He looked like a confused little puppy, standing there shirtless, shirt in one hand and an innocent expression on his pale face. |
ooc: :mellow: ... Okay!! -Sends Ruthers back to jail- Vianna gave a small smile and nodded her head as Ferris mentioned he had promised her room service. She couldn't help but be reminded of the many times they ordered room service during their last stay in France; but those thoughts only lingered around her mind for a brief second before she was distracted by the boy as he spoke again, asking her to clue him in. Her forehead creased just very slightly at the sight of him, quiet for a moment before speaking, "I'm sorry." She sighed softly. "Can you just... come back? I really don't care if you're shirtless or not, the only thing bothering me right now is that you're so far away," she added, patting the spot beside her as an invitation for him to join her, her small smile friendly and welcoming. |

Ferris's confused expression relaxed substantially as Vianna spoke, apologizing before asking him to come back over to her as she really didn't care if he was shirtless or not, that she just wanted him back. He couldn't help but smile at this, doing as he was asked and dropping the shirt at the foot of the bed before climbing back over to her with a slight smile on his pale face. "It's okay Vi...You can tell me if you want my shirt back on," he explained, taking the spot next to her but refraining from wrapping his arms around her. "I just...I dunno, I thought you might've lik--" he cut himself off, quickly shaking his head, "That you didn't mind," he quickly corrected himself, diverting his gaze. "I thought you didn't mind." |

You're out of control, absolutely out of control! :whip: Vianna's smile grew as Ferris returned to the bed, telling her that it was alright, that she could tell him if she wanted him to pull his shirt back on. She nodded her head, though she had no intentions of asking him to do so anytime soon. She listened as he continued, mentioning he thought she might have liked-- but then he cut himself off and continued that thought with different words. Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly and she chuckled softly, rather amused by the boy at her side. She sighed and allowed herself to rest back on the pillows. "Let's just say... if I had pulled away for different reasons, then you should be worried. But if I'm pulling away because I'm flustered, Professor... it's not usually a bad thing," she explained to him. "It's not like I did it because you were... gross or something," she said with a soft chuckle. "Though I do hope you never get gross," she added a little more teasingly; though it was kind of true. She didn't want Ferris with a belly like her dad's. That'd be pretty gross. |

He couldn't help but let out a chuckle as she then mentioned her hopes that he would never get gross. "I'll try my best not to," the boy assured her with a warm smile. He let out a soft chuckle before sitting up and giving her a mock serious expression. "Shirt or no shirt. Final answer," he said with an amused smile sneaking onto his lips. |

"Good," said Vianna with a smile and a nod as Ferris assured her he would try his best not to get gross. As he then sat up, giving her a mockingly serious expression, Vianna's smile faded slightly and her expression turned a little more focused and curious. She listened as Ferris went on to ask her if she wanted him with or with no shirt, that this would be her final answer, and she chuckled softly. "You're not letting this go easily, are you, Professor?" she said, raising an eyebrow slightly at the boy before deciding, "No shirt." Letting out a sigh, her expression turned from playful to a little more serious, feeling she probably still needed to explain herself further. "It's like... when we first started holding hands. Remember I'd get all flustered and shy? But... it wasn't because I didn't like it. I got like that precisely because I did... like it..." she finished the last bit with a mutter, realizing what she was confessing to at the moment. But at this point she couldn't even feel embarrassed to admit this; she wasn't capable of feeling any more awkward after that whole deal with the shirt just now. |
