ooc: I've been working on it...trying to think of something to post. I guess I'll just get to it then.
Okay, so James is downsatirs, in the kitchen...Wondering where everyone went. Everybody seemed so busy these days...

ooc: James didn't know Darius was there, then, right?

Shannon left Wylow to organizing things in her own room and went back downstairs to look for James. She found him in the kitchen. "Hello..." She said.

ooc: correct.
"Hi." James said. "What's going on? I thought I heard someone come in the door."
ooc: my posts may be far and few betwen, because I'm cataloguing my collection of Beatles songs...I have every song they've ever sung on my computer, but none of them are named. So I have to re-name them. It'll be a while.

ooc: Well, if you're not posting, at least it for for a good reason!

"You won't believe it," Shannon said, sitting down, "It was Darius."

"Darius?" James asked. "What did he say?"

"Well, he wasn't in the house when the others were killed... he was away on vacation... he said that he might not be a member of the order anymore and we talked and he was acting kind of strange... then he left," Shannon said, recalling Darius's visit.

"Acting strangely?" James asked, smiling. "Well, it's obvious it's not really him. It's probably a Deatheater taking Polyjuice Potion."
ooc: serious enough of an accusation to cause "emotional problems?"

ooc: Oh yes, this is going to be fun.

Shannon looked at him, was he serious? Well, it could have happened, but there was no way that a death eater could have found out about the new headquarters, "It was him James," she said, without wanting to explain how she knew or how Darius had acted strangely.

"Well, if it is him, what would he be doing taking a vacation? Wait..." James frowned as he realized another possibility. "Yes...He's our inside man, correct? Well, then, it all makes sense. He'd heard there would be an attack on the headquaters. So, he arranged for an early vacation. To think, he could have saved all those lives if he wasn't so..."

This outraged Shannon, "How could you even think that?! After all he's done for the order... you have the nerve to say that... he would not have let all those people die, James! His own girlfriend was killed!"

James sighed, but said nothing. He almost said something about Darius and 'his girlfriend,' but quickly decided against it. "Really...you don't find anything suspicious about this ridiculous story about a vacation?" he asked.

"I trust Darius," Shannon said defensively, "Polyjuice potions don't take over your personality, that was Darius who I was just talking with. And of course I believe the story, look at what he does for a living, he deserved a break! And if in case, maybe you forgot, we were away from the house, on an island, someone could be pointing fingers at us, but is anyone? No."

"Well..." James said, "...Well, where'd Darius go, did you say? He left?"

"Yes, he left... sort of flustered because... well, he left and said he would come back when he could..." Shannon told James.

"I see..." James said. "Well, I'll admit, I doubt if he would leave so quickly he he were a spy...but, don't you think we could've at least had someone follow him?"

"I suppose, but he left pretty fast and no one else here really knows who he is and Wyloe showed up, so I got sidetracked."

"Wylow?" he asked. "Where'd she come from, then?"

"Actually... now that I think about it... I'm not exactly sure..." Shannon said.

"She didn't act strangely and hurry out of the house the moment she got here, I hope?" he said.

"No... she's still upstairs, I think..." She said.

"Where has she been?" James asked. "Did she tell you?"

"Uh..." Shannon was feeling kind os stupid for not asking, "No."

"Hmm." James said. "Well, Dumbledore had suggested we have a meeting to discuss updating our security, but, after today, I wouldn't be surprised if every one of Voldemort's Deatheaters was in the meeting with us. Sheesh."
