Alex looked at Anna. "You passed out" he told her.

Anna's eyes widened. "I...did?" she asked, confused.

Ad finally cracked. She leaned over and vomited into the grass. She sat back up and leaned into the fence, even weaker than before. She looked up at Justin uselessly. There was no way to help her now. She was sure of it.

Alex nodded. "And we have even more bad news, Mikey's complety gone, Justin lost him. And Ad's gotten worse" he told Anna. He didn't have the faintest idea what to do.

Justin held Ad's hair back while she spewed up on the grass. Gross! He had to get someone to help her. He phoned his own doctor, Marcus being his father's doctor, and asked him to come to the old ranch house. "I promise you're gonna be ok. The doctor I phoned is WAY more qualified than Marcus" he told Ad truthfully really believing she was going to be fine.

Annd looked up in shock. Mikey was gone? She sighed at the news that Ad was worse. She had figured it would happen because Marcus wouldn't come to help her.

Ad sniffled as more tears poured down her cheeks. She only stared at Justin. How could he say that she would be fine? She wouldn't. She never would be.

Alex looked at his phone. "Right, Justin's phoned his own doctor, he's on his way so we'll let him see to Ad then I'll get him to sort you out. He's a lot more qualified than Marcus anyway" he explained. He sent Justin a message telling him to bring Ad inside and waited.

Justin read his message from his dad and helped Ad up. "I've got orders to take you inside. Come on, and no demanding not to. That way I can go look for Mikey whilst dad and my doctor take care of you" he told her as they started walking round the front and inside.

Anna nodded. "Thank you..." she whispered.

Ad nodded weakly. "Okay" she said, leaning most of her weight on Justin. She felt even worse now.

Alex smiled slightly at Anna. "Thank Justin, not me" he replied. He stood up to help Justin with Ad and sat her down somewhere.

Justin half-smiled. "Right, I'm gonna go find Mikey. He doesn't know his way around" he replied and left.

Anna smiled barely. She looked up when Alex helped Justin with Ad.

Ad loked up and nodded. "I would suggest behind the stables" she said.

Justin looked at Ad as he left. "Na he hates horses. The first sight and he'll leg it" he replied, shutting the door as he left.

Ad sighed. "Well, then I've no idea where to look" she said.

Justin sighed too and walked down the road calling Mikey's name hoping he could hear him. No sign of him. Where on earth could he be?

Finally, Justin had found him in tears sat in a field by a bus stop. He walked up to him and took him back to the old ranch house.

Ad leaned against the wall next to AnnaLeah. She looked up at Alex weakly.

Justin walked in the ranch with Mikey and shut the door behind him. "Dr. McKenzie's like 20 minutes away, he just phoned me" he told them.

Ad nodded simply. She could just tell she was getting weaker as the time passed.

Anna reached out and ran her hand through Ad's red locks. "You'll be fine" she assured her.

Justin made Mikey sit down in the living room and sat on the stairs himself. "Which one of us is gonna tell him he's wrong?" he whispered.

"Me" Anna said as she scooted out to the middle of the hall. "MIkey, believe me. You never had it half as bad as I did. Yeah, you were really young when you lost your parents, but you didn't have your entire family massacred while you hid behind a curtain in your brother's arms. You weren't physically and emtionally abused on a daily basis by the families who took you in. Yes, you did go through a lot, but not as much as I did. No one trusted me in school because there were rumours that I killed my family! You NEVER had it that bad. And you NEVER will!" she hissed, tears pricking the corners of her pale blue eyes as she moved back to the wall, crying silently.

Ad sighed and looked over at Anna. "AnnaLeah, that was harsh" she said sternly. Even though it was probably true, Anna didn't have to be so harsh about it.

Anna shrugged, and groaned when her phone rang in her pocket. She pulled it out and saw the text message. Would he ever leave her alone?

Anna, come home. They don't want you. You can do better than them. They don't love you.

Anna growled and weakly tossed her phone at the wall.

Justin nodded. "Just don't be harsh on him. He may not have been through half of what we have but he's still only 10 and doesn't understand" he replied. Too late. She'd laid into him.

Mikey listened to what Anna said, he never even looked up, just looked down picking at his fingers as tears slowly began to form in his dark eyes and fell on his clothes. What had he done wrong to deserve that? She obviously didn't understand how much worse that made him feel. That just made him feel even more unwanted. But he never said a word to anyone, he just cried, hard.

Justin gave Anna a harsh look and sat beside Mikey, pulling him into a hug. "Ignore that, she was meant to tell you that you are wanted and that shouldn't feel like you're not because we couldn't want you more and if we had any idea you existed, we would've done something to get you. Promise" he told him, comforting him and not taking any notice of the fact that Anna was crying too. That was her own fault. It was also he fault that Mikey was crying. She didn't need to be harsh on him.

Ad groaned and fought the urge, not to be sick, but to bash her head against the wall. "You have no right to cry, AnnaLeah" she hissed visciously. If she heard one more negative comment from anyone, she'd wring their neck, regardless of who it was. SHe was not in the mood to deal with all these emotions. "Mikey, don't listen to her. She hit her head. You are wanted. And you always will be" she said, doing her best to comfort him. She hoped it worked.

Mikey only cried more. No matter what anyone said, what Anna had said had destroyed him. He was gone beyond mending. He didn't care whether or not Anna had another go at him, right at that instant, it only took him one more hint of someone not wanting him for him to run and never be found again. He looked down as more tears fell onto his t-shirt, Justin still cuddling him. He cried on Justin's shoulder, soaking his jacket.

Justin looked at Ad. He sighed. "Sorry Ad but I've gotta say this...." He looked at Anna. "Just when I thought we were actually getting somewhere you pull that stunt. He's 10 years old, he doesn't understand, AnnaLeah. And thanks for making him feel even more unwanted, round of applause for that one. He doesn't know what it feels like to be loved. At least you had people around you. And none of us know what went on behind closed regarding Mikey's life before us. That information was confidential. Not even dad can find out. So don't go questioning what Mikey has or hasn't been through because it takes a lot of trauma for someone to feel unwanted wherever they go, I should know, years of it came from you" he told her harshly. She deserved it. He looked back at Ad. "Slap me if you want but I can't hold that back" he told her.

Ad growled under her breath. "Justin, either you get out or I do. I am not in the mood for all these negative emotions. AnnaLeah Sophia Brant, stop crying. You aren't making this any better. I want to get better. But with all these negative emotions, i'm nt gonna get anywhere. I--" she couldn't say anymore. All the emotions just crashed right into her and she stopped mid-sentence, almst choking. Woah! This had never happened before. SHe clutched the sides of her head as a migrane hit her suddenly. What was happening?

Justin looked at Ad. "Excuse me? Later then" he told Ad and walked out. Even she had to know he would NEVER hold everything he'd just said in. Anna had made things a whole lot worse than they already were and now Ad was practically kicking him out. "Come on Mikey" he told his cousin, holding his hand out for him to take. "Come with me if you want, dad. I don't care anymore, as long as Mikey's with someone who isn't gonna make him feel worse" he said aiming it at Ad and Anna.

Mikey took hold of Justin hand, still crying, and followed closely behind him, not saying a word, just crying harder than before.

Alex looked at Justin. "I'll wait for Dr. McKenzie to get here than I'll follow behind you in the car" he told Justin and Mikey. He wasn't going to let the boys go anywhere alone after this.

Ad shook slightly looking up, her vision blurred. "No! I'm sorry!" she screamed in her mind. "Don't leave me like this...please...I'm so sorry" she whispered before blaking out.

Anna sighed. Damn it all. She felt like a complete idiot. SHe hadn't meant to make him upset. She really hadn't.

Justin stopped suddenly when he hit the road. "You're own fault" he said aloud. He took out his phone and sent his dad and Anna a text message.





He hit send and continued walking down the road, Mikey beside him.

Mikey stopped when Justin did and looked confused, tears still falling from his dark eye. "Where are we going?" he asked.

Alex took out his phone and read the text message. But Ad had flaked out so he couldn't tell her what Justin wanted him to say.

Anna looked up when her phone rang. She used her foot to bring the phone over to her, then sighed. She really did throw the phone, and smiled in satisfaction when it shattered. She sniffed as fresh tears rolled down her cheeks. She didn't look at Ad, nor Alex. She didn't look at anyone. She only cried harder. Her life was ruined. "I wanna die" she said loud enough for Alex to hear. "Please" she pleaded. Yup, she was pleading with him to kill her. She couldn't do this. She had ruined her own life.

Alex looked at Anna. "Do it yourself, you've got a wand, use it" he told her as he stood up and walked toward the wide open door. "Just for the record, it may be a good idea to think about Mikey for once instead of your life. He's had it bad too you know. And I don't care if you as me to leave to 'cus believe me, I'll go with pleasure. If you wanna die that much Anna, get your wand and do it. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. You've had over 10 years to get over that, Mikey's not even been with us for a year" he said before leaving, leaving the door open for Dr. McKenzie to walk in.
