"Well thats good" she paused "I'm guessing you got a job at the ministry? Which Part?" she asked. Joshua had seemed to be working a lot more now, maybe the ministry increased the working hours.

''Yeah,Ministry Security.''He explained.''Long hours really get on your nerves after a while.''He said thinking of those calls that ring in the morning.

"Its just because your new, just starting the job. It will ease up after awhile" Astoria said. Except if you have a job like her husband, working for Hogwarts School always meant constant work. "I'm just happy to see that Chelsea found someone who can take care of her, and make her happy" she smiled. It was very important to Astoria that Chelsea was happy and being treated right.

''I know,It will just take alot of time.''He said thinking of all the hours.''Well your neice is the most caring,sweet,Girl I ever knew and really I'll tell you a secret if you don't tell Chelsea.''He said grinning.

Oh? Keep a secret from Chelsea? This must be where Chelsea gets her nosiness from, Astoria always wanted to know things. "Deal" she replied. Keeping a small secret wouldn't be hard. Astoria had kept worse probably from her before.

''Great.''He said smiling.''Well where going out in a couple of days and I think I might ask her the one big question.''Hoping she knew what he meant from 'The Big Question.'

"Its about time" said Astoria laughing. They've been together long enough, she wondered if he would ever do it. Astoria got up and walked over to Ryan to hug him "I'm happy for the both of you. Are you nervous?" she asked Ryan.

''Alot of people have said that.''He said laughing with her.''Oh thanks Astoria.''He said when she hugged him.''Thanks,Sort Of.''He said thinking of when he'll say it.

"Well don't be, we both know she'll say yes" Astoria said quietly. She knew her niece well enough and Chelsea deeply cared about Ryan.

As she finished getting dressed, Chelsea put her silver bracelet on and walked downstairs. Where her aunt and Ryan were talking. She was just happy they got along well. Chelsea caught something Ryan said and was curious "A lot of people have said what?" she asked as she was walking down the stairs. Chelsea had no idea what they were talking about but she was just nosy/curious.

''Hopefully she will.''He said smiling.The only reason he waited so long was he didn't want his relationship to ened up like his parents.

''How beautiful you are.''He said trying to keep her off track.

"Well I can agree with that" she said jokingly with a smirk. But then she blushed, people really talked about how beautiful she was? The blonde always knew she was pretty but not stunning.

Astoria looked at the two, there was no way that Chelsea would say no to what Ryan was going to ask her. She pulled out her phone (still trying to understand this muggle technology) and noticed she had to be somewhere. "I'm sorry I have to leave. And Ryan remember what I said" she told him as she was about to leave. She knew her niece wouldn't catch on.

''Of course ou are.''He said giviing her a quick kiss on the cheek.''Certainly Astoria.''He said thinking of their little chat.''Well I've got to head off.''He finished.

Two days later

The past two days had been the same routine: Wake up, watch Ryan leave for work, clean the house, take a trip to diagon alley and back home, cook dinner, and finally go to bed. This must be what her aunt did on a daily basis, since she was no longer living there and her uncle was always at the ministry.
The only one of her friends from school Chelsea had seen lately was Lilly (who still made her uneasy at times), she hadn't seen anyone else.
But it was finally Ryan's day off -one of the few he gets- and tonight he was taking her out to dinner. Probably celebrating his first day off in a week she thought to herself and let out a small laugh. Speaking of the man of the house, when was he ever going to wake up?

Ryan was in bed tossing and turning and then eventually woke up.He walked downstairs and yawned.He walked over to Chelsea and said''Hello there Sweetie.''He said smiling and kissed her on the cheek.''How'd you sleep.''He asked.

Chelsea smiled once Ryan walked into the kitchen. After all this time, yeah there is a reason she was still with this man. No one else could make her smile every day, or laugh at the smallest of things. He was also very sweet, protective at times, and handsome she thought to herself with a giggle.
"Good morning sleepy head" she said handing him a coffee. "Perfectly. What about you?" she returned the question.

''Good Morning Sweet Pie.''He said smiling and taking the coffee.''Just what I need.''He mumbled.''Well that's good,Alright.''He said with a yawn.

Chelsea poured herself another cup of coffee and looked at Ryan. "You still look tired" she commented. He was cute though after just waking up it made her giggle with his hair a mess and that groggy look on his face.
"So what are the plans for today?" she asked casually. Of course she knew. She just wanted to make sure that they were still going out later.

''I still am.''He said laughing.He thought about it,''Oh where still going out tonight right.''He said casually smiling.

Chelsea laughed with him, it was nice to actually see him in the morning. And have a conversation. Normally by now he's rushing to get to work. "I wish you had more days off" she said sweetly.
Just what she hoped to hear. "Yeah, I was just making sure there was no change in plans" said the blonde. Finally time where she could have Ryan to herself. Actually she had been looking forward to this for days, even if it was no special occasion.
"So the other day what were you and my aunt talking about?" asked Chelsea casually while sipping her coffee. Astoria had been pretty secretive the past few days, and maybe Ryan would know.

''So do I.''He said knowing that would never happen.''Well that's good.''He said smiling.He looked up,stuck on what to say.''Not much,just work.''He said mixing up his words and sipping his coffee.

"Maybe eventually you'll earn more days off" said the blonde. Well hopefully. Ryan did have a life outside of work anyway (not that the ministry acknowledged it).
Chelsea was so excited about spending the day with Ryan, she completely ignored how Ryan was stuck on something to say. Anyway it does seem likely that work was what their conversation had been about ...Then she thought of it Astoria's probably buying some housewarming gift she thought. Yeah, that was very much like her aunt. Always doing something really nice. "I'm just happy we get to spend the day together, I've missed you"

''Hopefully.''He replied back frowning.The Ministry never really gave anyone days off.''Hey so am I.''He said smiling.''I've missed so much these days.''He said smiling.

Chelsea knew it would be awhile even if the ministry considered giving him more days off, so she just dropped the subject. She knew how they worked. Even her uncle, who's worked there for years, hardly ever got more than a day a week off.
He's here today, thats what matters she reminded herself as a smile grew back upon her face. Somehow she couldn't think of anything to say so she sat there, just enjoying him being here, and waited for him to say something.

''Hey,I've just got to go into town to check up on something.''He said smiling.No specific place,just got to go to and see if everything's okay.

"Ok" she half smiled, as she went to walk upstairs. I need to get ready anyway she thought. As she got out of the shower, she curled her hair, and put on very natural makeup, got dressed, and was done.
As she was walking back downstairs adjusting her necklace, she noticed Ryan was still gone. Where did he go? she thought. Well mine as well just eat lunch for now. While eating she turned on the tv in the kitchen to pass the time, waiting for Ryan to return.
