"But let's face it..." Melinda said, looking serious. "I am getting married, I am in love with Chris...and nothing...will change that..." She said, straight.

"I know...and I am sorry...that...I interfered..." Daniel answered.

"You can stay here...two days max...alright...you need rest...go to your room..." Melinda suggested, as she opened the door of a room upstairs.

"Alright..." Daniel said, as he walked upstairs, kind of disappointed and not happy about all the facts.

Melinda sighed. Then heard her cousin. "Nothing of that is happening, he's an old friend of mine...kind of like you ....be thankful, to him that he protected me for five years..." Melinda said, demanding peace to Daniel.

"Ok peace but he better not do anything to upset you or Chris" Jason told her. "He will have the J. P. W. wrath" Jjason told Melinda, Chris and Jamie amd loud enough for Daniel to hear.

"Jason, be good." Jamie said and then she kissed him.

"Just hold it...I don't like...this sudden visit either..." Mel confessed.

Jason got a key and locked Daniel inside of the room. " You mess with my cousin and you will never see daylight- got it? Jason screamed at him. Jason kissed Jamie .

Jamie kissed Jason back. Then she said, "Jason you cant do that."

Melinda looked at what Jason had done. "Oh..please...just leave him alone...if he does anything...you know I will take him out..." Melinda suggested and opened the door.

"Come on Jason. Lets go sit outside. It is a nice nite." Jamie said. "Melinda can handle him."

Daniel felt when Jason had locked the door, but sooner, Melinda opened it and came in. "Hello..." He said and smiled.

"How about...you and I...talk about the past years..." Melinda suggested.

"Sure.." Daniel said, excited some plan was working.

Melinda sat on the couch next to the bed and started to ask questions, like where had he been, what had he been doing, and all that. Questions that were gladly answered by Daniel.

Chris went up to the door and knocked on it. He want to talk to Melinda and Daniel.

"Walk in..." Daniel suggested, not really caring who it was, though, as soon as he saw Chris, he shut his mouth and began to feel nervous.

Melinda saw surprised Chris. "Umm..." She hummed. "This is a time to meet each other..." She said, smiling.

"Yeah...get to know..." Daniel said, raising his eyebrow.

Jamie passed Chris as she was getting to the stair case. "Sorry about earlier." she said talking about the mess with Tiana.

Chris walked in. "Umm Daniel, I am sorry about before. I hope we can start over". he said to him.

"Sure.." Daniel said, as he stood up from the chair he was sitting on and offered his hand for a shake. Although, You will not like the way I will steal this...young lady from you... He thought to himself.

Melinda felt happy Chris was getting on the line that she had many old friends from the orphanage and many other places.

Chris shook his hand. He didn't really know what to do he just kinda looked around the room.

Melinda said to Chris, "We finished talking...let's go downstairs...I want you to see something..." Melinda suggested to her boyfriend. "See ya around, Daniel..." She said, as she walked out.

Out the room, Melinda held Chris's hand. "I appreciate you doing this..." She said, and kissed him.

Chris walked out of the room. He kisssed Melinda back. And pulled away. "You're welcome". he said smiling at her.

Melinda ran downstairs, in tip toes. Then, she opened a box. It contained a new camara. "You...have a camera...I know...but, I just loved this one...and it was really good, I even took a picture with it and loved it..." She said, smiling.

Chris went down stairs with her. He saw the camara. He took it, it was really nice. "Gee Mel, your getting me all this stuff. And I didn't get you anything". he said to her.

"As long...as you...trust me...and this is one of the last...gifts..." Melinda answered. "But...with this ring...I feel more complete...than anyone...I don't need all this." She confessed and held his hand.

"Alright I trust you. And I glad you like the ring". he said hold her hand. "Oh and thank you". he said to her.

"Pas de quoi..." Melinda said, laughing.

"merci beaucoup". he said. "Oh and smile". he said to her.

Melinda smiled. "you know...I don't like pictures..." She said, laughing. Then, kissed him like...the one at the living room.
