Chris hugged her back. "Maybe we should go back to the other". he said to her.

Melinda bit her lip. Finally, she became Chris's girlfriend. "Yeah..." She said, starting to walk towards the table. But suddenly, two baby cries were heard from the upstairs floor. ·"Oh...Robert, Daniel..."· She said, in a sigh.

ooc: Melinda had to adopt those two twins for her now dead cousin, Jacquie, who trusted her to protect them as if Melinda was her real mother.

Chris heard two babys cry. "Ok what was that"? he asked her confused.

Melinda frowned. "I am so sorry didn't tell you guys...but...I adopted two children...from a cousin in France, who just died last week..." She said, hoping Chris woldn't get mad at her.

"Ok, so there like you cousins"? Chris asked still a little bit confused.

"My cousins..yeah..·" Melinda said, and ran quickly into the nursery, she calmed Robert, getting him to sleep, taking lots of time, and then, she put him into the bed. After that, she held up Daniel with lots of care and went to sit to a swinging chair knowing that would calm him. She sang a sleeping song.

"It's no big deal..I can do it...I just..." Melinda said, getting them to sleep.

"Robert and Daniel..." She answered.

Chris ran up after Mel. He went in and saw her he leand on the door frame. "Well you sure do know how to calm them down". he said smiling at her.

"You should have seen them...I saw them on the day of their birth...I was there...it was amazing...and since then, I take care of them, and know what will calm them down..." She said, swinging on the chair so Daniel would sleep fast.

"I know...they are beautiful...and since I can't give birth because of my heart problems...I guess they are to be my children from now on...·" She commented.

Chris was still confused a bit. "Yeah they are". he whispered agreeing with Delilah.

Melinda held Daniel's hand to play a thank you. "Thank you..." She said, smiling to Chris.

Chris smiled at her. He just couldn't stop smiling.

Finally, Daniel went back to sleep and Melinda carefully placed him aside his brother. "Sleep tight...boys..." She said, and walked in tip toes toward Chris. She gave him a kiss. "I am sorry I didn't tell you anything...I needed to find the right words..." She whispered and hugged him.

"Its ok. He whispered to her, then hugged her back. I just glad to see you again".

"Me too..." Melinda said, and kissed his lips slightly.

He smiled as she kissed him. "We better get out of her we don't want them to wake up". he said to her.

"Yeah...the Ravioles are waiting..." Melinda said, letting slip what they would be eating for dinner.

"Oh so thats what we are having for dinner". he said walking out the door chuckling.

"Yup..." Melinda said, looking at Chris as she walked out the door and closed it carefullly. "Let's go back downstairs..." She said.

"Alright" he said holding her hand.

Melinda walked back downstairs with Chris holding hands. She just loved to have him with her. She arrived to the table room and sat down in a table. "I am really glad you are here...thanks for coming, and sorry about the babies upstairs..." Melinda excused herself.
