Victoire succumbed to the kiss, taking her hand to run through his raven black hair. She sensed something different in that last kiss, something that held more of an electric charge, more passion. "I think you're the one that's too kind," Victoire laughed softly as she twirled a lock of his hair around her finger. "I would have never imagined that a Tuck would go for a Weasley. It's almost against the laws of nature." She smirked at her own statement. |
Matt chuckled softly, smirking. "Oh you'd be suprised at what some of the family have married." He said mockingly. Personally, he didn't believe in the whole pureblood philosophy, like his grand parents, and great grand parents had. His parents had raised both he and Kyle to look as everyone as a person, not blood or a name. "I've got a couple of aunts and uncles who are muggles, actually. At least I'm keeping it to the wizarding community! And to be honest, I think my parents would be pleased with my being with you. Mum always liked the Weasley family, even if she was never very close with them... Says their good, wholesome people." He smiled a little and kissed her forhead gently. "Even if she didn't, I could care less. I'm perfectly happy with you." |
"I could say the same for you," Victoire smiled softly, finding it hard not to get lost in his blue-eyed gaze. "My family... well, you probably already know about them." She couldn't help but laugh; it seemed everyone in the wizarding world knew the story of her famous uncle, Harry Potter, and the dark wizard that he had defeated. Her aunt Hermione and uncle Ron had also become quite the superstars once the world had discovered what a helping hand that they had given to Harry. Victoire was grateful to only be a niece of the trio and not a member of their immediate families. She remember how hard it had been for Rose and Al when they had first arrived at Hogwarts, people poking and prodding as if they were artifacts in a museum. Victoire had gotten her fair share of badgering about her famed relatives as well, but definitely not to the same degree that her cousins had. "My parents aren't exactly too partial towards those connected with Slytherin, with everything that happened during the war, but I think I could get my mother to change her mind about this. I'm sure she'd love you. But as for my dad, I don't think he'd take to the idea of us dating. It would take some help from my mum, but I think he would eventually learn to accept it. Besides, he would be one to talk; he's not exactly pure wizard himself." She laughed darkly, remembering having been told the story of how her father had been viciously attacked by a werewolf. |
Matt pouted a little at the mention of her father. "Yeah, fathers generally don't like me, no matter what. I think it's the whole rock-star thing." He said slowly. "So I'm used to the whole 'I-Don't-Want-You-Dating-My-Daughter' speach." He laughed a little and smiled. |

"Still," Victoire couldn't help but laugh as well. She could just imagine her father, Bill Weasley, face-to-face with Matt Tuck. Now that would be a sight to see. "I think I could get him to loosen up. It would all work out." A little pang of homesickness struck her at that moment; she usually tried not to think of Shell Cottage while she was at school, but it was hard to not imagine that she was back near the sea. Sighing, Victoire tried to push the nostalgic thoughts of home away for the moment. "But hosnestly, I'd be a bit more scared for Rose. If and when she and Kyle ever got together officially, I'm not sure how my uncle and aunt would react. They're completely anti-Slytherin, through and through. I wouldn't be surprised if they locked Rose away in a dungeon to keep her away from Kyle." She frowned; so many people of the previous generation had ridiculous stereotypes floating around in their memories. The stereotypes had been justifiable in the past, but now they were almost seen to be unfounded truths. |
Matt nodded. "So I've heard." He replied, once again, running his fingers up and down her side. "Don't worry about it. Something tells me that those two aren't getting together any time soon." He frowned a little and yawned lazily. "On a lighter note, it turns out we've already got a full tour schedual lined up, starting the last day of the year. All of the US first, then Canada. Then it's back to europe for a while, and from what I hear, Japan." He smiled excitedly andsighed. "Mum sent us an owl last night and Kyle told me over breakfast." Kyle frowned a little, not know how to answer. "Honestly, I've got no idea how to answer that question." He said thoughtfully. "I'm a musician and an artist? A person who cares more about the welfare of other people then his own? I dunno." He started, stil not knowing what to say. "By honestly, how many seventeen year olds can answer that?" |
Victoire frowned, knowing that he spoke the truth. Only Merlin knew what would happen between Rose and Kyle. "Really?" Victoire smiled, "That's amazing! I-" She paused, the corners of her upturned lips falling a bit, "Wait... how long are you going to be gone?" Her joy had immediately melted away as she thought of Matt being away for so long. This was something that he loved to do, wanted to make a living out of, and she supported him all the way. But she knew, beginning on the first day of the tour, that she would have a long, hard road ahead of her; at least, until the tour was over. |

Matt caught her faltering smile, and couldn't blame her in the least. "A year... Maybe two." He said sadly. It tore him apart to admit that he'd be gone away from her for so long, and that there was nothing he could do about it, short of quit the band he fronted. "I know, it seems long. But we can apparate to each other whenever. My hotel room will always be open. And I'll be home for holidays and birthdays." His own smile faded, finally coming to the realization that two years was too long. "I know this isn't the life you want. And I fully understand if you chose not to do this anymore. It's hard. Just... Don't give up on me yet." Kyle listened to her speaking and smiled a little. Beautiful, smart, and a helping hand. "Personally, I think that sounds like a great idea. Maybe then they wouldn't hold their muggle borns back, or send them to asylums. I've heard of that happening." He frowned a little and took another sip from his water. "It's great that you want to help people. And that you already know what you want out of life. I wish I could say the same." |
Victoire took his hand in hers, forcing herself to fix her withering smile, "I don't intend to give up, ever. I've never been with anyone that I know I won't see for extended periods of time, so it's just new to me." Although she tried to smile on the outside, her stomach was twisting into knots. She knew that the time for them to part would be coming soon, and she had a feeling that saying goodbye might be one of the hardest things that she would have to do. But knowing that she could apparate when she pleased made her feel better, if only a little bit. "But you have to promise me this," Victoire's half-smile turned into a full smirk, "Promise me you won't go hanging around those trampy groupies?" |
Matt laughed and nodded. "With you in my life, I'll never so much a look at a groupie ever again." He said truthfully. And it was the truth. When he'd dated Lex, he'd refrained from the temptations of tour life. And he suceeded, even though neither were of age to apparate, and had spend an entire summer apart. "I love you, and that's all I need." |

Pureblood wizard. Pets: A Siamese cat by the name of Cookie. Appearance Hair: Dark red, wavy. Eyes: Light green Build: Slender, slightly athletic. Though still a bit scrawny. She's been spoiled her whole life, but she doesn't let that go to her head. Life's always been...pretty normal for little Ashley Murray. She's tried to make things more exciting, but always tends to fail. Personality: In simpliest terms, the chick is crazy. She's hyper, loud, outgoing, and nearly always bouncing around into conversations where she's really not all that welcome. But she doesn't care what others think of her - she's having fun, and if they don't like it, they can shove off in her opinion. But while she's being this crazy person, she's also able to observe. She learns quite a bit this way, though generally keeps the information to herself. Most would look at her and wonder how the hell she ended up in Slytherin, of all places. But anyone who's crazy (or dumb) enough to get to know her, find that she is a very ambitious and cunning person, willing to run over people to get what she wants, if necessary. Though she'll try many other ways before resorting to this. Status: Single Crush: Haha, wouldn't be as fun if you knew~ (In other words, no one at this moment in time. ) Favorite Subject: Transfiguration Least Favorite Subject: History of Magic |
OOC: Welcome darlin'! Jump on in whenever. :) Al had finished his shopping hours ago, and the twins little gig didn't do over so well. He'd been left with a group of crazed fan-girls asking him when they'd be back. And to be honest, he didn't think they would be. Eventually, the bar owner kicked the under-agers out and resumed business as usual, which also left Al wandering about the village with neither cousin. Vic had gone off after Matt, and Rose seemingly went with Kyle. A good turn of events there, he thought. Rose might have finally warmed up to the shyer twin. He looked at his watch and smiled. It was about time to leave, and attend his date with Alyss. He finished off his drink and left the bar, heading towards the place they'd chosen. But she was nowhere in sight. Al forwned a little and looked around, still not seeing her. He took a seat on a bench and waited. Perhapse she was just running behind with her shopping... |
"Like I've said before, you're too good to me," Victoire smiled, leaning forward once more as she gave him another sweet kiss. She would definitely miss these when the time came for him to leave. She would possibly be jealous knowing that he would be on stage in front of countless adoring fangirls, all vying for his attention. But in her heart, she knew that Matt would never cheat on her. His words oozed honesty, and she soaked them up like a sponge. |
Matt greatfully returned her kiss and held her tight in his arms. The more the thought about it, the less he wanted to leave. But he knew he had to. This was what he lived for, his music. And it give it up for a girl was a bit absurd, not to mention the fact that Kyle would murder him if he did. He knew it was going to be hard to say good-bye, but luckily, they still had the full school year ahead of them before that happened. He breathed in and sighed contently, resting his forhead against hers. "Enough of this depressing conversation." He muttered, leaning in again to kiss her. Where hers had been gentle and sweet, his was passionet and somewhat lustfull. His hand ran through her hair once again and rested on the back of her neck, just below her head. |
Victoire gladly, wordlessly consented to Matt's suggestion. Why dwell on the future when it was better to live in the present? She crushed her lips against his, her hands reaching up to entwine around his long raven hair. That had always been something that Victoire had found attractive in men: long hair. As a friend had put it before, it had always been nice to have something to hold onto. Victoire had felt the lust in his kiss and her heart simultaneously thumping faster, causing the color to rush into her cheeks and turn them a shade of rosy red. So mother had always been right after all: being in love made one's blood boil. |
Feeling her retrun his kiss just as passionetly as he'd given it, Matt continued on the way he was. She hadn't pulled away, ane he could feel her heart rate quicken through her chest. It could only be a good sign. Hs wound his arms around her again and shifted himself closer. Perhapse things were going to go his way after all, and she'd gotten over her initial 'embarassment' from before. |
Victoire felt Matt pull himself closer, their bodies pressed together as close as could possibly be. Her mind seemed to whirl at the speed that her heart was pumping. Was she going to do this; was she ready to do this? Her mind said yes and her heart did the same. If this had been her first time, she knew she would have hesitated. But now, her mind set was different; She wasn't a scared little girl, she was an independent young woman. Victoire momentarily pulled her lips away from his, taking a quick breath to try to calm her thumping heart. |
Ashley was walking - rather, skipping - through the streets of Hogsmeade, bored out of her mind. She'd opted to lose the Hogwarts uniform for the day, and instead wore a white tee shirt of a Muggle Irish band, along with black shorts and bright, hot pink leggings. She was very aware of the odd stares she got, but did her best to ignore them. They could think what they wanted; she quite enjoyed the odd assembly of her outfit, which was all that mattered. Spotting through a window two fellow Hogwarts students she vaugly recognized, Ashley stopped. Without checking to see which shop she was at, she entered and walked straight up to Alyss and Meg - at least, thats what she thought their names were. It was quite difficult to remember all the names of people she didn't normally bug. But she simply smiled brightly at the pair. "Hey!" she chirped happily. "Whatcha doin?" |
Matt took several deep breaths after she pulled away. She still seemed hesitant, even if she hadn't pushed him off yet. His eyes met hers, and his hand gently pushed her blonde hair from her face. His heart was pounding. Somethig about this was different then it normally was... He was feeling something, as apposed to just doing something. He didn't want her to be like the others. He wanted this, if anything happened, to mean something. He smiled a little, not really knowing if saying something would ruin everything. |

Turning her head as she heard someone else approach them. That was a first, no one had ever interupted their shopping before. Turning completely, she noticed it was Ashley. She recongizined her from the common room and some classes. "Hey Ashley," she replied as she turned back to look at her reflect with another dress pressed to herself. "Just some retail therapy," she explained as she glanced at her watch. "Meg, it's getting late and I have to meet up with Al soon." She had really lost track of time and it wasn't polite of her to keep him waiting. Glancing at the storekeeper, she nodded. It looked like she would be making a rather larger purchase today after all. |
Kyle nodded, knowing very well what it was like to have an idea stuck in your head and want to follow through. "That's a lot like why me and Matt got so into the music business. It speaks more to us then the magical careers do. Which is kind of sad, considring we're purebloods. Dad's not too thrilled, but mum supports us alot." He said looking around for waitress. She appeared a minute later with their food and left again, flashing another smile at Kyle. As she walked off, he laughed under his breath. |
